A couple of times a year, my family visits Gulf Shores, and it's become a tradition for us to spend a few hours at an arcade. This time, we decided to switch things up and try Captain Crazy's Paradise?and I'm so glad we did. Most arcades these days have lost some of their charm, with overpriced games that just aren't as fun. But Captain Crazy's was a refreshing change. We came here for my wife?s birthday. She LOVES pinball! We also played lots of rhythm games, bowling, arcades, and pretty much anything we wanted. The owners are so nice! Excellent beer selection too. I honestly can't think of anything negative about this place. It's just a great environment run by great local people.

Best arcade around the beach. I solely go for DDR and other rhythm games and to say the DDR pads were on point is a hard get from me. But those pads were crisp man ???? Great job at keeping the machines in the condition they are in, it makes a arcade incredible instead of mediocre. Will be coming here every trip down and telling EVERYONE about the place. LOVE IT??

Lots of pinball machines. Enjoyed our 4 hours there. 1 Water and 1 Gatorade $6.00 plus the $25.00 a person to enjoy all day play. Employees were super friendly and helpful on how it all works.

I'm Gen X and had a blast reliving my youth at this arcade! There are lots of arcade and pinball machines, as well as interactive games to choose from. The cost for an hour of pay was $11, and it was well worth it!

Captain Crazy's Paradise hits all the right notes when it comes to arcades. I recently visited along with my wife and a friend visiting from out of town. It's got a huge selection of video games and pinball machines. A great selection of snacks, beer, and soft drinks. You can tell that the owners are really passionate about creating a fun, exciting yet relaxed vibe! For me, at 58, it gave me nice nostalgia vibes. Enjoy!

Went for my boyfriend's birthday, wasn't overstimulating at all and we all had a great time. They have some interesting drinks and I'll definitely be back to see if the Korean corn dogs are good.

Really great arcade and pinball place with a retro atmosphere! Definitely a family-friendly must-see when you are in Foley. It's a great way to spent a quick couple of hours indoors. Looked up arcades while at the beach and all but this place was your typical gambling machine arcade. Upon entering it's lightly lit like a Japanese area at night. It's a nice cool temp to escape from the heat. They have a snack area in the back with beverages for ALL ages. This arcade is $10 per person per hour. All games unlocked except big screen simulators. Pinball machines were in great shape and they're all set up like competition. They have DDR, Pacman, Miss Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galactica so much more.

Amazing opportunity to have fun all day! Fun energetic atmosphere with lots of classic games for all the family to enjoy. We had a last minute change for my daughter's birthday and we called them to see if they would let us go there to celebrate. They were extremely kind, understanding, and accommodating. I loved the Japanese feel to it and appreciated both the modern and retro combination.

This place is amazing, they have lots of Japanese rhythm games, racing games, classic arcade games. They also have all kinds of games on emulators, pinball machines, DDR, guitar hero, and so much more. I went here multiple times for different parties. You can reserve a table for birthdays and they give you a discount for the all day passes plus food and drinks included (2 sodas and 2 pizzas). I love this place!

A great arcade with lots of my favorite Japanese rhythm games and Initial D. $20+ per day or hourly prices. Food is a little pricey but tastes great! I will definitely be spending all day here during revisits!

My friend and I decided to take and road trip from Louisiana to check out the arcade and it was amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic and the amount of games were enough to please any gamer. The rhythm games were up to date and the DDR machine was perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I will be coming back soon.

Such an amazing arcade that is unique and like no other. Ace goes above and beyond to make everyone?s experience exceptional. We had a blast here. The kids enjoyed themselves and parents too. The food was great and a super fun atmosphere! If you're in the Gulf Shores area, this is a must try.

Fantastic arcade! Great variety of games, food and drinks. Great deal and worth every penny. Will go back when we are here again! Kids loved it, ages 10 to 15 (not to mention us adults did too!)

This was the best deal I've ever found! No paying for points to play each game and 30 minutes later you're out of points! I paid $25 for me and $15 for each grandson and we were there for four hours!! There was a great variety of games - new and vintage. We were able to buy drinks and snacks for a decent price. The staff was very friendly! The bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommend them!

A really cool video arcade with lots of pinball machines, old school arcade games, as well as newer Japanese machines. $10 for an hour of play is what our family chose.

This place is great. It has something for everybody. I love Stern pinball and old pinball. He has tons of great machines and modern options at a great price. I want places like CaptainCrazy to thrive. Take your kids here and get them off their phones for some feedback games like pinball!

Highly recommend! My 5 year old loves it! Best part is that you can pay for all day play, and leave and come back. We like to play for awhile, leave and get some food, then head back to play more! Lots of classic arcade games, pinball, and fun unique games from other countries. My kid loves their pizza as well!

Took my kids and my wife to this arcade and had a total blast. Facilities extremely well maintained, no gambling ticket games like Chuck E. Cheese and other garbage arcades. Highly recommend.

Great place with a big selection of arcade machines. Very impressed with how the technician keeps the equipment up. A big variety of Japanese games as well. We paid for a day pass and spent a lot of time dancing on Dance Dance Revolution, pin ball machines and classic arcades. They have a corner with a bunch of emulated games including Mario party one that we were able to enjoy for an hour resting our legs on giant comfortable cushions. Definitely recommend this place

Best arcade anywhere. The owners are fantastic and the price is just right. Makes sure to get the monthly pass and you won't find a better value for entertainment. Pinball, Japanese rhythm games, and a ton of retro arcade cabinets keep me coming back.

Great arcade. Entry fee was a bit higher than what we are used to in north Texas but was worth the fee. The atmosphere is great. Absolutely a huge fan of the Stern pinball machines along with other machines. Love that they are using stern inside connect. Hard to find this niche, but is a huge bonus for pinball lovers. This place is amazing I don't know why you're not here right now. For the low low price of $10 and hour or $25 for the whole day you can emerse yourself in all the video games you can handle. They even have a bar that serves Japanese beers and korean corn dogs. what more could you possibly ask for? And you can bring the kids.

Awesome free play arcade. Family owned Dan and Sheeva are amazing hosts always cleaning and keeping machines in tip top shape. Pinball league nights are a blast, and we have access to more machines at Captain Crazy's Paradise than any arcade in the MS, AL & FL gulfcoast area. Great beer selection with some wine available also. Quick and delicious bar foods. All the classic arcade games we grew up with plus lots of new games including driving simulators, shooting games, flying and pinball galore. Can't wait

Me and my boyfriend went in for the first time today after my mother met the wonderful owners this morning and we were so blown away by how amazing the atmosphere. All the older games from the 80s to early 2000s were so much fun and so fun to play. They have screens that play anime and that you can also play games like tetrus and Nintendo on (there's also 20+ pinball machines). I 100% recommend going to this place you will not be dissapointed.

A real arcade experience, many rare machines, great staff. Everything was working and clean, there is nowhere else on the gulf coast to play initial D and wangan midnight. Will be back again and again. ??

The staff are playing games the whole time and act annoyed when you interrupt their gaming sesh for help or questions. The consoles are outdated, which explains why they have connectivity issues and why you'd need to ask staff for assistance. My 6 year old was very sad and uncomfortable and wanted to leave because ?he felt like he was annoying them.? Broke my heart to see his tears, after paying $50 for what was supposed to be a special treat for him.

This is something that Foley needed! I've been looking for a local place like this for a very long time. There always seems to be a technician at all time working on the machines if something is wrong, you pay one fee and get free play with every game there, the pinball machines are in excellent shape and they have projectors for console gaming. It pains me to leave this review because it's a really cool location with a great selection of arcade games not normally found anywhere else. The management was incredibly rude to my wife and her trained service dog. Instead of approaching her and asking about her service dog and his concerns, he immediately escalated the situation and forbade entry. Really enjoyed the experience, they had old school donkey Kong and lots more. The only thing I wish they had was motorcycle racing games. We had a wonderful time and we had so much fun before we knew it we had been there 3 hours

This place has a ton of arcade games and pinball machines! (Retro and newer ones) I'd aim for age 4 and up (3 and under are free, but there's less they can do). There is no public restroom.

Love the concept! Nowhere else like this in our area. The older guy that works the front counter has been sort of condescending & grumpy every time I've been, but besides that we love going! Great for birthday parties or just to kill some time.

Over and beyond on there policies a adult has to be here if they are 15 years or older and that's understandable but you can't enter the arcade and watch them to make sure they safe because it's a free play arcade. I wish I would have had my phone on me to take some photos. My wife and I visited for only an hour and had a blast. All games are free play, lots of pinball and multi player arcade machines. We didn't play the golf but they also had Steet Fighter on a projector. We spent three hours here today. We wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was very friendly. The arcade was clean. The restrooms were clean. We didn't eat, but it really smelled good. If we lived in town we would take advantage of the monthly pass. We will be coming back.

Visited from out of state and wanted something different to do with our teens - ages 12,17, 18. We ALL had a lot of fun! Great prices - all the machines were working. Loved all the vintage pinballs, arcade games, etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Located in basic strip mall, so we were unsure what to expect when we arrived. However, once inside you escape back to childhood with all the games. Well stocked bar with craft beers, very clean, and hand sanitizer easily accessible. Can't wait till next time!

An awesome arcade for all demographics, whether your a retro buff, a patron passing by, or an invested rhythm gamer! The staff is super friendly, cleanliness is a huge priority, and even the communities are very well put together. I travel about 3 hours to get here every two or so weeks and I never make that trip back home disappointed with my experience!

My husband and I stopped in early on a Saturday. The arcade is clean and we found almost all of the games were in good repair. It's $10 per hour per person which isn't bad considering all the games are free play. We didn't play the golf simulation but will when we go back. I tooky husband and 17 year old son. We had a blast. I loved that all the games were free play. I didn't have to keep up with tokens or refill a card. There were lots of different types of games for the whole family to enjoy plus, loud if libations for the grown up to enjoy. It was a great indoor activity for those super hot or rainy days. Can't wait to go back!

Kids liked the games. The older kids liked the golf simulator. Up until the son-in-law broke the head off his iron. All in all a great place to beat the heat of the day or the rain drops. Friendly staff at the front counter. The simulator wasn't working quite right but they made sure we got our full hour of play.

Great Spot for the whole family. We stopped by on the way back to SC and the place looked amazing. Our kids loved the atmosphere and we enjoyed our visit, even if it was short. Definitely planning to make another trip out. Great arcade and unique selection of games, clean restrooms, and premium versions of some great pinball tables. My only complaint is that some lightgun games weren't working right. Been a few times now and has always been a great time. Fantastic addition to Baldwin County.

What a great experience! Very clean (especially the restrooms), great selection of games and pinball machines. We especially loved the "Stranger Things" pinball machine. Best arcade I've visited in years. Pretty wide selection of various cabinets across the different genres of arcade games with both older games like Galaga and relatively newer ones as well. Very much reminds me of visiting the arcades at the mall in the 90s. Not perfect by any means but compared against the places in my memories I think I'd still give it a 4/5 stars against them but since it's been many many years since I've seen a "good" arcade I'm giving it a bump up to a 5 star for my review.

What a fun place! My family went today to celebrate my nephew. The pinball machines were my favorite! Not only did my family have a great time but everyone in there seemed to be having a great time! Great vibes, great place.

This place is awesome!! Don't be fooled by the exterior. The price is a steal and everything is so well maintained. The food and beverages are prices reasonably and the theme is on point. My family of 4 did not want to leave. We will definitely go back again.

This place is SO MUCH FUN! After hearing about an arcade where you pay an entry fee for the day, and all the games are free I couldn't believe it. Well it's real! My friends and I spent hours walking around playing pinball, rhythm games, and old style box arcades. Bonus points, they have a little bar with some food options as well.

Awesome arcade, and cool hangout spot. I loved the pinball machines more then anything, but there's lots of arcade games even some games on big screens that had Super Mario bros. The food and bar area in the back is great for a quick meal or snack and they have a wide variety of sodas beer and some nice Japanese drinks. I recommend if you get a Japanese soda get the melon flavor

I had low expectations but I cannot believe a place this great exists. I'm a 90s arcade kid - free to play pinball/ ddr/ street fighter/ diving games/ any game I want would have blown my mind. Good beer selection and food as well. Wow. I'm buying a monthly infinity pass for my family as soon as I go back, which will be soon. I hate how long it took me to try this place out, we all had so much fun.

Great for the kids, kinda. Games are old school so it's more for adults. Plenty of pinball, but other than donkey Kong and packman, the games are sub par. Tempest, asteroids, and others would bring me back. These games can't compete with PS or Xbox so kids kinda bored. Know your target customer is my advice.

Me, my husband, and 3 kids went. We paid 88 for unlimited play which isn't bad at all when you compare it to the other arcades. They had lots of Japanese games that you cant find in your typical arcade here.
