Bytes Arcade + Eatery

Bytes Arcade + Eatery

Reviews Summary

The arcade offers a mix of experiences, with many praising its fun atmosphere, decent food, and friendly staff (especially Gabriel). However, issues like broken games, unclear pricing, and unprofessional or absent staff frequently disappoint visitors. While some find it a great spot for family outings or pre-movie entertainment, others criticize its high costs, lack of game variety, and inconsistent service. Cleanliness and bar service are pluses, but poor communication and maintenance often overshadow the positives.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to have a fun-filled time with friends and family. Has a cozy dining area, clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant environment to spend a few hours. Loved the classic arcade favorites. The eatery serves up the usual: pizza, chicken tenders, nachos, fries, etc... The food is surprisingly good for an arcade. Milk shakes are pretty good, too. They also have a full-service bar. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Always ready to assist if yo

Awesome location and good food. Pizza gives you that chunk E cheese nostalgia! Games were great and bad and amazing time there! Everyone was extremely nice and helping. Got the $30 card with the $40 combo which got us two pizzas, two drinks, French fries and enough games to tired us out.

Enjoy coming here to kill time before a movie. Not a huge arcade but has enough to keep the kids entertained for an hour or so. Small bar inside. Beer is very high here and you have to show your id every time (isn't that big a deal) the pizza the make here is actually pretty decent. You can use your game card inside Bytes as well as inside the Regal theater at the other smaller arcade inside. I've been about 6 times here and I did notice this last time a few games weren't working properly. The staff did re

We had my son?s 5th birthday party here. We had a great time. It's so clean and all the machines worked properly. The staff may have been a little young but they were very sweet and helpful especially the young lady that assisted us with our party. VERY ATTENTIVE, and on top of what ever request he had and they through in their own suggestions to help out as well. 10 for 10 would recommend for parties !

Game arcade near Regal cinemas off 99. This is a good way to pass some time when waiting for the movie to start if you arrive there very early. By it self it is not a very big arcade with tons of games. But a good cozy place with a few games and dinner and drink area. The idea is to have kids to enjoy and relax a bit. The prices are a bit steep. The place is clean and staff is friendly. They have great place for kid?s birthday parties as well.

Nice games although some of the multiplayer games were not functional due to one of the controllers being it of service. It wasn't very clear the exchange rate determining how many tokens/credits you get when you purchase them. Nice items for purchase with points.

Follow me on my Google account for more reviews. It is a great place to play games with friends, kids, adults, the whole family. There is a bar service that is next to the food service. There are also self service touch screen devices to load your arcade cards. Mask is optional.

Good food and lots of games at a reasonable price. We had fun and will definitely go back.

I didn't have enough tickets for this keychain I wanted, and a super kind young lady gave it to me anyways. I will be coming back ????

As we walked in we weren't greeted at all , the in store hours were completely wrong from the online hours . My girlfriend and I went in with what we thought was 30mins. Before closing but in reality it was 10mins. We had just spent $10 on games and walked towards the kiosk to buy more credits to play games , now by the time they shut the games off and everything we had already bought the extra $20 worth of tickets as a employee watched us purchase them . Mind they didn't say anything about them closing on

Great place very clean little drive on the new 99 toll no traffic awesome prices for food and games only 4 credits for most all games get like 200 credits 40 $ don't forget to try fries ?? this was a Saturday

Nice place but why did they remove the pool tables??! Was the best part.

Showed up around 10:30pm and waited at the front door for someone to greet us. No one came by so we bought our own play cards from the machine. Right at 11 on the dot all the games went unavailable because they closed. I understand that they have to close but it's just irritating that they didn't even give a warning and right at 11 when they closed every worker disappeared. And if a worker would?ve been in sight when we came in we would?ve been able to know not to buy $160 worth of cards since they were abo

Brought my 4 and 10 year old here for spring break it was great, my boys loved it.

I went to this arcade today and had lots of fun with my friends! Awesome place with friendly staff and well-kept machines, will come again!

The place is great, kids and adults can have a great time and create nice memories. The eating place was good. The restroom was clean. Staff polite. They have a room for bday celebration. The games were nice and have a good variety of machines.

Didn't greet us when we entered, kind of just blank stared when we got to the desk. Then we went to the food counter to redeem our bundle, many products weren't available. Waited at the bar more than 5 minutes and nobody ever came. Food guy asked someone to tend to the bar. Pretzel bites were not good and no cheese could be provided. We were told that weekdays are slow so they don't get out the cheese.. I had to walk to the movie theatre and wait in line to get some cheese for the pretzels. Love the theatre

Came here with my family and this guy was very rude and didn't want to serve me my drink as well as the manager Myra , both very rude with their customer service

Always a fun time. The place is clean and reasonable for a new arcade. Definitely worth the occasional night out.

I had my kids seventh birthday here. They let us bring a cake and use the dining area at no extra charge? I bought a couple card play packages, and it was plenty of credits to spend several hours playing. Lots of cool games. We had a blast. Priced reasonably. Nice staff.

It's like the arcade games you find inside the movie theater to waste a little time, but just a bigger space with a few more. Some reasonably priced, some way too expensive. Everything is at least one dollar or 4 credits. Basic toys at the ticket counter. I took a 6 year old and she was bored in about 30 minutes. She can make it a lot longer than that at an Incredible Pizza or other large arcade, if that helps anyone. We had their cheese pizza while there, pretty solid.

Fun for the kids and has a bar for the adults.

Cool spot but way overpriced. It's owned by Regal so expect movie theater prices. It cost us 20 bucks for about 10 minutes of game play and drinks are 10 bucks each on average. Dave n Busters is better.

Seems like a place with great potential, the staff could use more training though. They weren't able to sell credits at the door, but failed to mention the machines take the card. It was a mess. The bar took credit cards. The information was not clear and it seemed like no one knew what was going on. I recommend hiring better or training staff better. That is a huge loss for the business... if you can't clearly tell me how to spend my money at your establishment I will leave and not come back. Probably los

Arcade itself is fun, they could definitely use more variety. Biggest issue here is the staff. Most of them look like they don't want to be there, and you're up a creek if you have questions or want to order food. I had three employees sit in the dining area and watch as I stood at the counter waiting for someone to take my order for a good 5 minutes. Tough to want to give this place my business when they can't even be bothered to take it.

Loved this place. Very entertaining for kids an adults. Had a ball. The staff were great. An very professional.

They don't take IDs issued outside the US for drinks. Avoid this place at all costs. The food is a joke. Pretty near the worst food I've ever had.

Amazing pizza. Way better than you'd expect from a food and games place. Nachos were made to the order. Fresh tortilla chips. Good variety of games. Friendly staff. Clean. Will definitely go again.

Kung Fu Panda had a bad switch in one of the pads, impossible to win. Games of ?skill? were set up with difficulty so high that you don't have a chance. The ?star? game jumped past the win zone, visibly. I'm a pro and played more than 40 times just to see if the ?lose? count was set at a reasonable level before allowing a win. It is industry standard to have the machines set so a skillful player can't clean them out with just a few credits - but they have the machines set up unfairly. The crane games are s

Pretty cool place and not overly expensive. It's a great place for kids to kill some time. Very clean and things seemed organized and employees were friendly. Really fun place!

My kids always have a blast here!

Really fun, but pricey imo - you pay per game, and the cheapest one was a dollar per play. But there are great games and the food was good.

Too expensive for a limited number of games to play.....really to expensive. Spent $80 on their play cards and definitely not worth it. Dave and Busters is a better experience by far for the money.

The game play is expensive. The prizes are week and some of the games were missing balls to play the games or handles and triggers didn't work. The hand sanitizer stations were empty.

It's an OK place to waste time with kids while waiting to go to the theater. Ran like most movie theaters (or roller rink). So, set your expectations for such and you won't be disappointed.

Not impressed by the game options. A lot of racing and toy claw games. Location is pretty good right next to the cinema and there is a lot of parking. I didn't try the food.

If you are looking for a local arcade this place makes the grade.

It was really fun,,I would of preferred a more friendlier staff but for the most part it was my first time and it was Fun. It brought the kid out of me

Great place to have fun there but I've tried calling to book a party reservation and the phone line is busy. I've called over 7 times throughout today and it's the same outcome

Clean hygienic place Great games Amazing staff especially look out for Gabriel if you want to throw a party. He's an amazing host!

The pizza was great but the worker doing the register absolutely was unprofessional and just seemed to hate his job definitely having people like that is bad for business.

Tried to schedule a party for my kid. Totally ignored me, they won't come to front desk... just sat at bar talking. Incredibly unprofessional

Fun place to have some drinks, eat some food, and play some games excellent staff friendly, and helpful

Multiple machines were in poor shape but were not set to out of order including the $5 per play VR game.

Great place for kiddos ! Food is regal movie quality . Fun for kiddos to kill couple hours . Loved spending time here !

My daughter had a good time here after we saw a movie.

Great staff, pizza was amazing, and won a Nintendo switch ?? ??

Food is excellent and the service is top notch! My family had a fabulous time here

Best gosh darn arcade I've ever seen. Very polite staff

My kids enjoy it but not enough games and choices for me

Not a huge selection of games but cool little spot to kill time before a movie or dinner.

Fun night to spoil the kiddos for doing well in school

Clean and less crowded compared to other arcades.

Fun arcade with reasonable prices and a decent selection of games.

Everything is overpriced and there is barely any games.

Over priced. No games... don't waste your time.

First time here... it was great...

(Translated by Google) I loved it, it was a very good place, the cinema is spectacular, the seats are very comfortable and very spacious. (Original) Me encant? muy buen lugar el cine esta espectacular los asientos muy c?modos y muy hamplios

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
