Haven't been here since college! After 17 years it was nice to be invited by a client to eat at Buddy?s. The food was as great as I remember and the nostalgia seemed to hit me just right.

Typical roadhouse atmosphere. Plenty of TVs playing a variety of shows. The mother-in-law appreciated the channel with funny animals. Slow but friendly bartender/server, but she was there by herself other than the kitchen staff. Prices are pretty good. There are plenty of beer choices, but not many craft brews on tap. The ones they do have are good ones though. My companions were both happy with their BLTs and their bacon was crisp as requested. It's amazing how often that doesn't happen. My cheeseburger

Check out this local bar/restaurant The food was decent nachos, boneless wings, i wouldnt recommend the fish tacos. Nice feel to it, bags outside and tables as well.

Erin the Bartender was very warm and friendly suggested some tater tots with my beer. They were cooked perfectly and crispy. I will be late again.

Bartender was too busy on her phone. There weren't many people in the place that we should have received the service that we did. Also using the same glass and touching the Tapper with it when you want a another is gross. A bad vibe with very limited beer selection. My group felt we were bothering the bartender. However the food was excellent.

Usually, I don't like saying anything negative, but in this case I Can't say a lot of positive about this place. The food is very greasy, the oil is literally dripping from it. We came in this afternoon Saturday 02/15 at 1:00pm and sat ourselves as that's what the sign says to do. There were 4 adults sitting at the bar and a table of children. We waited over 10 minutes and no one came to our table so we decided to approach the bar area to try to order food as we saw that their may only be one person working (the bartender) and we waited another 5-10 minutes just to still not receive any sort of acknowledgement so we chose to walk out.

Cute hometown feel with both diner tables or bar seats plus slots and games. Car show coming up!

Bar bingo was fun but they need to turn down the juke box when they are playing bingo. They have recently been sold so maybe the new owners will put in a water filtration system as the well water is pretty fragrant.

It's a decent place if you like your waitress to literally hang on your husbands arm like he's fresh meat in a butcher shop

The absolute beat Mai tai I've ever had !!! Served by Ashlee at buddys bites n Brews in Mount Prospect. If you're lucky Ashlee might sing a song for you at the bar! She has an excellent voice!

Hubby and I loved this place! Ashlee is a great bartender and makes your experience most memorable! The food is great and the drinks are superb! Had a great time with the regular patrons, they made us feel very welcome and glad we stopped by. Cheers!??

Stupid bars everywhere, can we have any location serve food late during the night

Gave a third try? shameful, inexperienced, inattentive, waitstaff. The place is completely empty and the bartender/waitress are nowhere to be found? made the wrong drink and wrong food. Never served any water. Waitress/bartender belongs with a bunch of teenagers at Taco Bell, although they may embarrass her with their work ethic.

Stopped here after looking for somewhere casual while on a work trip. Food was great and prices were definitely not bad. The bartender was a highlight of the night and was super funny and friendly.

My husband and I booked the upstairs room at Buddy's for a friend's baby shower, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The manager, Jennifer, was very responsive to our inquiries and was able to accommodate every request. The food was amazing, and the staff were all so kind. It really made for a wonderful day and memory for our friends. Everyone should stop by for a bite and a brew when they're in Mt. Prospect!

Great burgers chicken sandwich the best two but many times I call no answer just a message to leave a message I don't know if you are open or not not very friendly

Had a baby shower here on 10/8/22. Great time great place. Fun open multi-level joint with great sliders and decent priced alcohol. Really hope to catch a Bears game here some time. Thank you to their staff for being so attentive and accommodating.

Food is always great! I have changed my rating from 5 stars to 2. Last couple of times that I have ordered the shrimp, they shorted the amount served from the amount on the menu. The burgers come out overcook. I'll order rare hoping to get medium rare. It comes out well done. I've gotten comped for all of this, but, I just want my order to be right! The food was excellent and on Monday nights they have 5 dollar burgers that are great. The bartender was very nice and a sweetheart. The atmosphere was perfect for me was kinda a rock club with classic guitars all over the walls plenty of beer on tap as well as bottled beer and little bit of sports bar but not overwhelming of a sports bar great place to spend some time with friends really enjoyed it.

The staff here is so kind and even the other customers are super friendly. The food is fantastic. I am a truck driver and I was having a very rough evening. I've never had better service and never met friendlier people. I highly respect these ladies here. 10/10 Nothing but the best here!

Only got a 4 because the water taste like iron. Other than that we had a large group for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The hot pretzel sticks were great. I could say more but my thumb is getting tired. Get here!!!

Service is usually slow here. I like to be able to go upstairs and play darts though! It's always empty up there and the music is usually good! However, this is an updated review. I have been going here fairly regularly for about a year now. Only ever to play darts and pool upstairs. Today when we got there the bartender was obviously in a bad mood. My visit tonight with Luna was excellent she is so sweet and very attentive even when she is busy. The food is amazing I love the fish and chips baby back ribs and shrimp dinner. Their burgers are awesome aswell. Unfortunately if you come here during the day you'll have horrible service with Ashley. Do not come here during the day. She maybe came to our table 2x during our visit and never came to collect our check. I was going to pay with a credit card but after 15 minutes of waiting I decided to pay cash.

Well, apparently you have to be a regular to get good service...we also got the evil eye from "the regulars" when we sat at the bar...bar tender was rude and running around like the place was packed (it wasnt). Been here a few times! Love the wings, fries are good too! The bartender/waitress/everything else named Bree is AWESOME, she has complete control over the place...1 person serving bar customers, table customers, and somehow has time to chat with her regulars!

Very good prices, easy to grab full table with drinks, appetizers, and entrees without going overboard on the bill. Server was very friendly, treated us like house guests. Will return definitely with a bigger party.

This was the worst dining experience ever. We had a group of 7 people and of the 7 people only 2 had entrees that were good. One persons order of a hamburger with Swiss was made with cheddar instead and that was scraped off and the Swiss was put over the burger. The cold slaw was too spicy. In my opinion they make the best burger in town. It is always seasoned to perfection and the waitresses are always so friendly. I will definitely being going there again for there 1/2 of burgers on Monday's.

Highly recommend the shrimp tacos! Sooo worth it. Definitely will be coming back if we're in the area. We also spent the night in the parking lot with our semi, (thanks to the owner! :) ) was a quiet area.

Weak drinks, and I picked up a nice dollop of engine grease on my pants while sitting at the bar... I want the place to succeed because it's a local place, but $10 for a short cocktail with no Alcohol (perhaps watered down) isn't working for me. And the bar tender could care less that we weren't satisfied with our drinks.

Way back when it was a great place. Came back to check it out and it was awful. No wonder on a friday night it wasn't busy. The server we first encounter was not friendly. She seemed to be put out. The fried wings was just as advertised, raw wings thrown in a fryer and bbq sauce barely covered it. I dont understand when something once worked....why why change it?

Came here once with my boyfriend and some friends. The place was dead. Maybe 10 customers inside the bar, not including our group. Took a while for the bartender and waitress to notice us to put an order in. Drinks were meh. Nothing special. There are better places to visit.

Great place! I come here about 2-3 times a month. They have good drink and food specials every day of the week. Servers are very friendly and there are lots of tvs for sports. My only complaint is they no longer have all the football games on Sunday which made me sad

Stopped in for a few beers with a buddy, and there was hardly anyone there. We each had 3 beers and the bar tab was $12. How is this place not packed??? We'll be back for sure. Hopefully more people catch on and join you in.

Loved the place! Servers are awesome, Food Excellent and it has such a comfortable atmosphere...exactly what I was looking for. 5 Stars for sure...felt like I was in a Wisconsin Northwoods bar.

Service is good and fast and food is good. We always get the ribs. Once we had fish and chips and that was good too. Prices are reasonable. Sometimes it is quite noisy.

Good music and decor but there's a cover charge at a sports bar with no atm to take money out, and there's a dress code...I did not know I was going to an upscale bar in the city. When I called ahead of time they failed to mention this. Fortunately not going back.

Horrible horrible horrible claims Friday night are karaoke night and $50 price winner when asked for more info they stated that no longer exist! Bartender not once in the 3hrs there came to our table for drinks or food we had to keep coming to the bar and we were the only customers there! When asked do what time does karaoke end he said 1am then at about 1130ish said ok it's over no more then 5 min later couple comes in request song and he immediately plays it! Called early afternoon to reserve 2 tables for 7 people they said ok and arrived at 7:30 pm and no tables. 1 waitress takes care of all tables. Not a place to rely on. Wouldn't recommend this one in Mt Prospect. It's a dive.

There was a barfight, it was everything I expected in a fight. It originated over a game of darts, one man managed to step over the line when throwing and another room exception. In response one of these men escalated the situation and gathered his boys around. Preparing his octagon worthy battlefield at the back of the bar he swang at the first opponent. The adversary swing back and they both fell on the ground. A lazy grapple ensued and as they made their way to their feet the bartender intervened.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood bars! Spent midnight of my 21st at this bar! It was amazing. Food is so good and the bartenders are super friendly. A+

This is a realy nice place with good food and helpful attentive staff. It was remodeled a couple years back and has a good comfortable feeling. And the old school videogames and other games are a kick as well.
