Bridgewater Public House

Beautiful restaurant bar adjacent to the local golf course. We were able to get a table at 7pm on a Friday night after the hosts argued with each other for a bit. Food was good and presented nicely, although the clams were quite chewy. Drinks were cold and mixed well. Or waitress was absolutely lovely, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The music was way way too loud, we had to yell to speak to each other. The band were a measly 2 out of 5.

First time here played 9 holes staff is fantastic. Drinks well priced and servers attentive without hovering. Golf course no joke it was a challenge. Definitely coming back.

I've been coming here for the last 2 years and it never disappoints. The food is amazing and the service is always phenomenal. I take my kid here often for the game room tucked in the back. It's a perfect place for getting together with friends for a drink or bringing your kids here to have some arcade time.

Hostess and waitress were both friendly and helpful! Food and atmosphere were great. They are very accommodating with reservations and the drinks are delicious for the price!

I went for a birthday party and it was nice! The arcade games are fun. Though I really don't like how to get your prize from a vending machine. The pizza wasn't that good, but it's just pizza. The French fries and chicken tenders were pretty good though ???? The arcade is small but that could be a good thing. You can get dinner at a nice restaurant along with playing some games. ??

We are new to the York area and are so happy to have found this hidden gem. Absolutely the best Happy Hour in York County! The staff is friendly and attentive. The drink selection is amazing and the food is delicious. They have two large bars and the view of the golf course is spectacular!

This is a great restaurant in a scenic location. Located on a golf course, the views from the outdoor bar are stellar. Happy hour is 7 days a week, half price ALL alcohol! Plus select appetizers are on sale. Can't beat it. Food is awesome and portion sizes are good. They have live music on the weekends.

Only place my boss could locate for twenty plus people for a dinner out on a weeknight. The game room area was an interesting venue for a meal , and it was entertaining to watch those who were actually playing the video and the electronic games while we were eating. Food variety was good and prices were reasonable.

Different little spot. Feel is more like it belongs by the shore. If you have kids , you may like the fact that it has an arcade in the building. Go ahead and grab a drink at the outdoor patio while you leave your kids binging on games indoors.

Walked by with my son, he suggested we stop and check it out for a bite. It was FANTASTIC! Staff was great, fast friendly and on the ball. Food was awesome. 3 of us shared loaded fries, the loaded nachos and Dad and son shared a White Rose Burger. Everything was great. Will go back for sure!

Absolutely disgusting. My sister and I ordered 2 poke bowls to go. Multiple issues: no salmon only tuna even though the description online states there's salmon. The tuna was NOT sushi grade it was gray in color and had a fermented taste. The rice was hard and undercooked. The avocado was splotched with dark brown dots all over which is clearly rot not normal browning. One piece of shrimp had the shell on it still. We love coming here, and try to come out once a month or so. Our family loves the arcade and the food, as well as the live music. Have never had anything we didn't like - highly recommend!

Excellent crabcake, best I've had in York area so far! All crab, no filler, huge, and accompanied by a tasty remoulade (as it should be imo.) Husband says wings are excellent, sauce was good, and we happened to come on wing night (wed) so it was a great deal to boot. They have a nice arcade which was a win for our son. Speaking of kids they had a surprisingly large kids menu with small bite or large bite choices, great if you have kids that are picky or different ages. Our server Brad was on top of things

Had a great time once again at Bridgewater last night. Our youngest was really upset about losing credits at one of the games from a malfunction, but Emily ?Egg? ?? was so helpful and understanding. Great management of a delicate situation. We'll be back!

Solid food, good service. Was uncertain of the arcade area but it wound up being a hit with kids and adults alike. Plenty of other eating/bar areas if you want to stay out of arcade area and away from most of the families. Top sirloin was very good at a great price. We had three at our table each ordered to a different heat but we had trouble really distinguishing.

Beautiful outdoor seating, special happy hour prices, and our waiter was top-notch. Going back as soon as we can to try golfing!.

A great watering hole, restaurant, arcade or meeting place. Some many great reasons to visit no matter the occasion. The staff is friendly and the food is top notch. A little more upscale than other places yet still very reasonable prices!

Awesome! So clean, everything so clean. Loved the atmosphere, casual but still a bit up scale. Bartenders were very attentive, constantly coming around to check in. Happy hour was AMAZING! Will definitely be going back!!!

They've done an outstanding job at the new White Rose at Bridgewater. Our server Karly was great with our three year old daughter and even brought out a small cup of tomato soup so she could dip her grilled cheese. She was so friendly and attentive during our stay and made the experience a pleasure. The food was also delicious and well prepared. I'm looking forward to our next visit!

Bridgewater Public House catered a wedding rehearsal dinner for our family and it was absolutely amazing! Jeremiah had everything set up and ready to go when we arrived. The crab cakes, salad, beef and sides were all phenomenal. It was a huge hit with our group of 40-50 people. The guests were still talking about the food the next day. I can't wait to go to the restaurant and bar to try more things from the menu! I highly recommend this place.

My hubby and I went for dinner and the best thing about it was the view of the golf course. The service wasn't great - it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It seemed like we waited a long time to order and receive our drinks, then the waiter brought us water, and then we ordered dinner. My husband and I ate here last Thursday. We sat at the lower level next to the Windows looking out over the golf course. We both had the French onion soup. My husband had a seafood pasta dish. First time visitors. Layout of restaurant, bar, arcade and kitchen are excellent. My wife had the broiled crab cakes and absolutely loved them. All lump meat. No fillers. Truly Maryland style. This was a disappointing visit. Drinks were very good, service was spotty. The biggest disappointment was the food. I always order wings, would prefer (and am willing to pay extra for) all flats, but they do not do that here. If they are not going to honor requests, the count should be split evenly between flats and drums. Tonight I received three flats and seven drums, way more of the part I don't care for than half. We've eaten there a few times, this particular night we to see one of our favorite local singers (Jake Mach). Our food was incredible, particularly the "Drunken Mushroom Pizza." We had a fun night, close to home.

They had 1 bartender serving the inside and outside bar and deck early Saturday afternoon and he did a great job. Kudos for great service considering what he was doing. Food was great and can't beat $5 orange crushes for a Saturday special.

09/22/2024: not great. food was served cold. Clearly was either prepped or bought in advance and then hopefully brought up to temp when ordered...,. Unfortunately mine was ice cold in the middle. So many restaurants want to be viewed as restaurants when what they really are just reheating stations for Sysco or acme. The food is so basic and pathetic..... Well never come back. If you have a choice. Go anywhere else.

We sat in the "outdoor" bar area and it was around 60 degrees outside when we got there for dinner. They kept the big door open even when the temperature dropped after dark. No one was sitting on the patio. I don't understand why it was like that. We sat on metal chairs which were cold too. Uncomfortable experience.

The food and drinks were very good. The service was even better. My friends that I had dinner with have a 1 year old and there are games people can play here. As we were leaving our waitress caught up to us and gave a stuffed animal she had won to my friends daughter. It was a great experience.

We enjoyed our dinner! It was delicious. I ate the Atlantic Salmon which was cooked perfectly and my husband ate the steak stir fry. He said the steak was very tender.

First time here since renamed to bridge water Public House. Atmosphere is awesome. Service was fantastic. Food is even better. Had the surf and turf and would recommend to anyone. We had a large party here to celebrate my cousin and wife who came from England to visit and also celebrated my dad?s 94th birthday. We had all ages from 1 yo to 94 and the staff were helpful, gracious and very accommodating. The food was delicious! I especially loved the sweet potato fries to dip in maple syrup!

I went here with my wife for lunch and we sat at the outdoor bar. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap and she had an appetizer. Our food and service were great. The bartender was very attentive and checked-in on us at the right cadence. Not enough to be annoying and not too little that we felt neglected.

This restaurant is at a golf country club, so it is a bit pricey. The food was amazing. They seem to be well known for their crab cakes. Everyone seated around me order them; myself included. The alcoholic beverages were a little watered down, but they were also flavorful.

My wife and I decided to stop by for lunch. We ordered cream of crab soup, beer-battered fish with fries and the pork flatbread. The crab soup was the worst we had ever tasted. This place has great views and overall the experience was good. The BBQ nachos were very good and everything the rest of my group ordered was good as well. I ordered the wings and they weren't awful, the inferno sauce wasn't really that spicy but it had great taste and the ranch was good. But they bread their wings, which I'm not a fan of. It tastes more like fried chicken at that point to me but if that's your thing then go for it!

The food is always phenomenal to start. They are very understanding about food allergies and make great accommodations for mine. Servers are always very friendly and helpful. Because this is built right next to a golf course the views are stunning especially in the evening when the sun goes down, and while the food is a decent price it is well worth it for the quality of food and service you receive.

Granted it was their first week opening... The food was ok, more variety than I expected. The service was not great but I can attribute that to it being newly opened. We also had issues with our drinks (stale wine and receiving wrong ones), but it was corrected quickly. The atmosphere is great for families, much improved from its predecessor. Definitely suggest for a family night out, great alternative to having to drive downtown to the White Rose.

White Rose Bar & Grill at Bridgewater is awesome! We hosted a wedding rehearsal lunch and were so pleased with the way everything turned out. In planning for the event, the staff made recommendations as we refined the menu and worked with us to adjust based on our party size. On the day of the event, the room was set up when we arrived, the food was excellent, and every staff member was friendly, professional and attentive the entire time we were there. It was a great start to the wedding weekend!

Food is always good and the space is really nice. The nightly specials are the best and worth checking out. You won't be disappointed.

This place has a cool concept and design but it ultimately fell short. The wait was almost an hour, many things we ordered were forgotten which lead to more waiting, and the food was actually not that great. It all lacked flavor and the meat was really fatty. The price to quality ratio is mismatched.

I would have given my meal today at two or three star but because we have been there two times prior I gave it a four. The first two times I went here the food was very fresh and very good once for lunch then for dinner. The first time I ordered a taco salad and soup, the second time was the Reuben sandwich also fresh and the fries were great. Extremely slow service for overpriced mediocre food & drinks. The menu description given for the Grilled Baja Sea Bass Tacos is extremely accurate. It doesn't mention fish therefor I shouldn't have been disappointed by the single postage stamp sized serving of bass in my taco. The burger was extremely bland with an odd texture. The gaming area is what lured us. It's a great concept but was disappointing as it's an unsupervised room with kids ranging in age running amuk. We won't be back.

The food was really good, and they had awesome deserts! The arcade was amazing and they had a great selection of games and prizes. I thought the prizes were really cool because some catered to kids and some to adults. It's a fun vibe and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be going back!

I have been here multiple times and always loved the place. Tonight was an exception. Service was great but the food that is normally good, was absolutely awful. The worst food I've had at a restaurant ever. I hoping that this was a result of Covid and trying to survive the inflation that is occurring as a result. Ultimately, the distastefulness of the food with the price paid for it will prevent me from eating there again anytime in the near future.

It's okay right now. They still have there limited menu and prices have gone up. I get it but by now I was hoping for at least a full menu to choose off of. Food is still good and the arcade is open, which the kids love. My family will continue to visit.
