Customer Reviews

Came in for a bite, a drink, and a place to relax and found that in spades on my visit! Had a delightful burger with wine Cajun tater tots and an apple cider as well as a drink Tiara had concocted on the side with some extremely lovely hospitality from her. I was more than satisfied with everything. Recently came back a couple weeks after in for their lovely breakfast, too!! At Ashley's request, I had some Belgian waffles that were AMAZING with a healthy load of toppings as well. Made for a scrumptious mea

The food and drinks were amazing! Atmosphere is clean, open and such a great place to get together with friends and family! Such a fun environment and friendly staff. Sonny and Ash were so attentive, friendly and helpful!!! Highly recommend! Will come again!!!

What a neat place! What you expect in a bowling alley, but then just a super cool building and design. My young kids had a lot of fun running around and messing with arcade games while the older kids bowled. Stairs to the lanes, and all the way at the far end a ramp up to the lanes. Call ahead to reserve a lane. Didn't try any food, but the bar and dining area looked very nice and clean. Got a couple pitchers of soda at the lanes and paper cups with lids and straws. There are some tall dining tables with st

We really enjoy coming down weekly if possible and having lunch/dinner on Saturdays. Familiar faces, nice restaurant/lounge. Ashley, Kyle, Lizzie. Woody and others working always have a smile on there face and upbeat attitudes which in turn makes for a great time. Bowling is fun but can be pricey. Family fun, date night, celebrations of any kind can be done here. The reason I say that is because we have celebrated a birthday, New Years Eve, date night, Valentines Day dinner, playoff football for college or

My husband and I were very impressed with this place! The atmosphere was awesome and the food was amazing! Thank you Ash and Kerra for making our experience wonderful!

By far the Best breakfast burrito in town paired with a loaded bloody mary...My husband said finally someone who understands what extra crispy hashbrowns means! Will be eating here again!! Great food Great people

Did a birthday party here for our daughter & Ash did a great job making sure we had everything we needed, even while being extremely short handed. Food was great and it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere! Thanks so much! C.Rowe

Ash and Sonnet were amazing! They were so patient with the kids. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their food. Thank you Ash and Sonnet!!!

The staff are friendly, and there's historic pictures of La Grande posted on the walls to make it look informative of this towns history; and everything looks clean. P.S. the bowling shoes are NOT in the price, but they cost: $4.00 which is not a bad deal.

What a little treasure right off the main street in LG! Amazing atmosphere and great menu-including adult beverages! Great for the entire family!

Had a less than ideal experience last time we came but Ash told us to try it again and made sure we had a great time. Thank you again Ash for your amazing customer service

Have been coming here to eat with our group twice a month since they opened and have enjoyed the staff and food. Tonight we went to try their new dinner menu. I had the salmon and Jack had the rib-eye steak. The salmon was done just right and the steak was good flavor, tender and cooked to order. Jack had the clam chowder (home made) that was so good and I had the salad that is always good. We will be back for the dinner menu again!!! Thank you!!!!

New breakfast, big portions and good food. Definitely recommend checking it out!

This place is rad!! Perfectly waxed lanes, beer isn't too expensive, didn't try the food but I'm sure it's great to! Incredible atmosphere with some really cool history behind the building!! Will be going again!!

Just what La Grande needed! The bowling alley looks amazing inside, very very clean inside and out. The price is great contrary to some reviews, try bowling in Portland and its well over $100 dollars. You great the same experience for half the price! So excited to have the restaurant opening soon, then it will be even better! The community needs to keep this place busy, that way we keep this establishment open forever!

We come here often. Ash in the kitchen was a great upgrade and has made our date nights more enjoyable!!!! Everything is delicious! Staff is always friendly and spot on!!!! Great vibe and place to just hang out, even if you're not into bowling! There is a PRO Shop for all your bowling needs as well!

I had a great time bowling here for my birthday! awesome customer service and a clean environment

I brought my Daycare kids ( Robin's Nest Daycare ) . They showed us all around and taught the history of the building !!! We even bowled a game ! We had such an INCREDIBLE TIME!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. We had an AMAZING TIME !!!

We had a great time at Brickyard Lanes! My favorite part was the AMAZING food, and the server was super cool! They made sure we had everything we needed and made welcomed small talk, especially because we are far from home. If I may, I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich. For anyone stopping by, or if you live in town, we recommend the bowling alley.

Decided to order dinner to go tonight, big mistake. Ordered nacho mama and the mini taco nachos and both were just thrown in a box and looked like a toddler put it together. Also ordered a pretzel and kids mini corn dogs that were decent. Said delivery was about 25 minutes and didn't get it for over an hour. $70 wasted on horrible food and experience, won't be a returning customer.

Unfortunately the new kitchen manager has made it to where we will no longer come in anymore. The portions of the food has shrunk in half, all while their menu still shows the portions of food they used to serve. The Nachos that I paid $15 dollars for that used to be a normal size nacho now comes out with 1/10th of the beef or whatever meat you order. Their response is they used to serve too much and now that they have a kitchen manager their portions have changed. The menu shows a large amount and compa

Ashley is my favorite!!! Always attentive and genuine, truly the best customer service, she even rocked some Christmas pj's over the holidays ??

Good pacifico, and good bar type food. Everyone that works there really tries hard to please and that means something ya know. Great fun place

Wow! Literally the most aesthetically pleasing bowling alley I've ever encountered! So modern and top notch customer service! 10/10 recommend!

So fun! Beautiful place too! They did a great job with the place!? my kids love it!

The only thing dragging this place down was the food. I should have heeded some of the warnings on here, but in all honesty, there were more postives about the food than not. We had the flatbread pizza special and the pretzel and the both were pretty lackluster. Pretzel was WAY overpriceed and our "margherita" flatbread pizza came out with maybe half a slice of tomato cut into sixths and no basil. It was also lukewarm. We didnt complain because....(see below) On to the good: WHAT A COOL FRICKIN' PLACE! May

Been here twice now. Can't complain about much. However, on the website it says $4.75 per game on Tuesdays and Thursdays for walk-ins, but it doesn't mention that that is the price for each person (if that even is the case). Maybe the employee charged us wrong? If that is the case, I would recommend specifying that on the site. Because I would much rather just pay the $30 per hour. Only because we don't sit around and waste time. Me and my fianc? could bowl 4 or 5 games in an hour.

Great food and a very friendly atmosphere.

Wonderful atmosphere!

It is a bit pricey... And for the $30 an hour you get maybe two games with 3 people. Might want to consider that after the second game you are going to need a third. Maybe per game is a better option when paying.. Other than that, beautiful interior, comfortable atmosphere. Staff rocks..

Good Vibes, decent eatery and nice service.

Great place to gather in the winter. Staff is awesome

Amazing atmosphere!!! Super amazing food!!! Had a blast here with family and friends!!! Drinks are amazing too!!!

The experience was fun. The inside of the building is beautiful. Our only complaint would really be that our lanes messed up quite a few times and I don't know if it's staffing issues or the inability to get staff, but it was extremely difficult to get help. Once help was found the staff was very hospitable. Oh, and it would be great to be able to pay per game instead of a block of time. Food prices are what you'd expect from a bowling alley.

Fun atmosphere, lots of beer on tap, I don't suggest the food at all, I've never had anything good here foodwise. But, it is a blast to come and bowl with the gang.

We had my sons birthday party here. He turned 11. So more kids showed up than I put on my reservation. The staff was super accommodating. Then with all the kids, a lot of them needed bumpers. They accommodated. I went to that counter at least 10 times feeling like a total jerk. But the staff had a smile on their face the entire time, and assured me everything was just how it's supposed to be. Definitely gonna be having parties there for future celebrations?? thanks brickyard lanes!

Disappointing experience to say the least. Wouldn't recommend for large groups. I reserved 2 party packages for January 22nd and informed the employee that I had a large party up to 40 people and I would need the entire balcony area for the party. They agreed that they could accommodate and I paid for Said party on January 11. When I arrive on January 22 I was informed that I would have to use the party room which is a small space with no seating that could not accommodate even 10 people. I discussed with

Helpful staff, nice atmosphere, very clean and family friendly. Probably the best bowling alley I have been to in a very long time.

Great place for the family. Good food at a reasonable price. When we went on a Thursday afternoon at 430, it was not crowded at all. By 530 to 6 more people showed up.

Really great place to bowl. All the food was really good! Ashley is a really good cook!

This review will be updated in the future. Brickyard lanes is much smaller than I anticipated, but very nicely appointed. As of this posting the bar and food offerings are not available and that influences the current rating. The shoes, balls and lanes are all very well kept. The seating is nice and as comfortable as any you could hope for in a bowling alley. The hand driers worked well and the scoreboard was a very cool animated setup on what appears to be smart tv's. The biggest shortcoming is the price.

We drove 48 miles, one way, to come bowling just to be told we have to make a reservation. Standing in the building and was told by the attendant there will be a lane available in 20 minutes, we told her we would wait. Nope, have to make a reservation or the lane will be given to whoever ends up in line at that time. Even though we are willing to sit and wait. Extra $3 fee to make a reservation, online only, technology has destroyed our society.

Really enjoyed our bowling here. Nicely decorated, modern, and decent shoes and ball selection. Pay-by-the-hour made it affordable since we had a larger group of 6. It will be great when they finally offer food options.

Cold beer , friendly service , and if you get the wings get the tots with the Mango habanero rub courtesy of Ashley !

Good food and atmosphere. Good service

What a beautiful place. The venue takes you back in time while providing a top notch family experience. The staff and the owners are very friendly and went out of their way to make the visit an unforgettable. Cheers!

Wait to see if there is some ?? improvement on food it was good food and I think the just needed to be busier instead of us getting there in-between hours. The? were busy doing other things. Although I can say good so far .

Every other frame the balls stopped returning. Ordered food and drinks right when we started but the drinks didn't show up until 1 minute left in the game.

Yummy food, pretty spendy on the weekends but it was worth it in the end. Lanes are fun and it wasn't over packed. Not as many arcade style games as I thought there would be but bowling was great

I bowled there for the first time yesterday. I had notbowled in years. The place is beautiful and the staff is really nice. Thelanes and the machines were great. Some things are not quite finished but yhere working on it! Good job!

Staff was friendly, place was clean. The bar and restaurant are open with decent food and drinks. The atmosphere was great and always have a great time on every visit.

This family has done an amazing job restoring this beautiful building and giving us something exciting in La Grande again. All of the time and hard work have finally paid off! I can't wait for leagues to open. Welcome to the community Brick Yard Lanes!

Bowling is so fun, I'm so glad it's back as an option! Only odd thing, is calling them will get no person. Doesn't feel very friendly. But a beautiful place with great lanes.

Come for the bowling, stay for the food! Excellent food and even better service. Great addition to La Grande.

Such an amazing place. Full bar and restaurant. Super cute and quaint. Small arcade area for kids to play. Bowling fun for all ages.

Great food great customer service Bowling is absolutely awesome and you get a discount on the bowling on Mondays and Tuesdays. I definitely recommend this place for a family night out.

Had to what for you to open, 10mins to 15mins after you advertised open at 5pm. The staffing did not have any idea what they were suppose to do, absolutely no customers service skills at all. Please step it up, training ??

A beautiful bowling alley. Friendly staff and a all around enjoyable experience! So blessed to have in our town.

Great new Bowling Alley! Good pizza, great atmosphere, comfy couches, even a few arcade games. Great place for family entertainment!

Went there for lunch. Food was good but service was poor. Even the bowlers had to wait a long time at the counter for service. ??

We had a quick lunch and drink. Fast and friendly service. Thank you.

Was supposed to open at 11am, sat there until 11:30, still hadn't opened. I wouldn't waste my time with this place.

So fun. Beautiful new lanes, very clean, friendly staff. Tasty food and drinks.

A nice remodeled place,. Good value and drinks. Didn't try the food.

This bowling alley was really nice. It's brand new, and the inside is really nice. Its's the best bowling alley I have been to.

Best food and bowling alley in all of town!!! I recommend going here!

Lots of problems with my lane and seems like nothing starts on time there even with reservations. Hope they step up their game soon

Good service and good for parties but small

It's great but it's on a timer not by the game, stopped is before we were done

Great place to bowl and clean friendly environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
