Great selection of beer and arcade! Their cherry chocolate Stout is amazing. We loved playing Frogger and Donkey Kong, they all have options for single and two-player. We had a great, fun time here, totally recommend it. You need coins for the pinballs (one quarter).
We stumbled into here just to find a bathroom but man we're we amazed! This is one of the coolest bars we have seen so far in Columbus. Not only is there draft menu huge and unique but they have ARCADE GAMES! This place is such a cool find and we cannot wait to come back!
I rented the space for a 40th birthday party after my original venue was sold a month before my event was to be held. Jason, the General Manager, contacted me shortly after inquiring about availability. He was very helpful in providing information, answering questions, and setting up the event details. Brewcadia ended up being a much better venue than the previously selected one. The games gave the guests an additional social activity. The food was very good and served in a rotated manner per my request. Th
Awesome draft selection of almost entirely Ohio beers. A good variety of styles with local staples and some that might be hard to find bottles of or on tap anywhere else... Didnt eat, but all the food that came out for other customers looked bomb! Friendly and attentive bartendars that didnt mind taking the time to turn the TV to the channel my sport was on during a fairly busy Saturday night. And of course, free classic arcade games! Big Buck Hunter, Area 51, Frogger, Cruisin USA, Space Invaders, Pac Man,
Never answer their phone. We showed up on a Saturday at 9, and a waitress just waved at us and said they were closed. Would be nice to know when theyre actually open.
This place is awesome! Nice combo of drinks, food, and my favorite..arcade games. I love that they offer most of the games free of charge for paying customers. My friends and I stopped there for my birthday. It was my first time and they did not disappoint. The food was pretty good too. One other thing, they offered actual table games too so that was cool. I will definitely be back. And I recommend them to others if interested in hanging out and playing some games.
Cool mellow bar. Bartender was very nice gal. All the classic video games are here and free to play. They all worked well and had cup holders for each player, which was a nice touch. Tons of beers to choose from on tap, even though many were from brewery underneath it. Great place to chill and relax.
This place has incredible happy-hour deals on pizzas! The small pizza I ordered cost $4, and the large pizza I ordered cost $8. During happy hour, drafts are also $2 off the normal price. I absolutely love this place and I'll be back as much as I can. I also love how quiet it is during happy hour too.
This was a great pub! We sat back, enjoyed several beers, enjoyed an appetizer and had fish and chips, which was spot on for a perfect brewpub experience. The lighting was nicely subdued, which was pleasant and not hard on the eyes. The service was prompt, pleasant and inviting. We enjoyed our experience so much we recommended it to everyone during the Arnold Sports Festival, since we were there for the event. Godspeed.
Grab a beer or whatever and get your Robitron-on. The drinks are cold and the games are (get ready...) free to play (that's right... just play'em). A little busy on Friday & Satereday, but not packed. It's where you want to either start or finish your night.
Years ago I went here with a friend during a very important time. We had cheesy bread, played some games. Recently I found the place and it just doesn't have the same feel. They don't have cheesy bread, they seem like they aren't fond of black people. I ordered a pizza because I was hungry but when I needed Parmesan and pepper to go it got really awkward with another worker who was at the bar and with the server. I really wanted to keep liking this place but sadly I do not feel welcomed.
Great draft selection! Plenty of classic arcade games to play.
My wife and I?s favorite arcade spot in Columbus. This solely because they have Buck Hunter and both controllers work. Skee ball is also fun and wide variety of Ohio craft beers. I'm not a craft beer guy myself and enjoy their good bourbon selection. Pizza is not bad at all especially if you make it for Happy Hour. Definitely recommend if looking for some fun games and craft beer.
Came here for a pub crawl, the service, the drinks and all the vintage games are all top-notch. My co-workers and I definitely enjoyed our time here.
Very nice bar and arcade with a bunch of older games. I came here for a customer appreciation event and it was a great place for something like that. The food was good, drink selection was great and the staff was super nice as well. If I'm in town again I'll be sure to stop by even if I don't have an event to go too! Thanks for the good time!
I love coming to this place. It has a nice chill atmosphere compared to some of the other arcades in town. The selection of arcade cabinets is a little small due to the size of the place, but they more than make up for it with their selection of board games, which I find similar places lack. The majority of staff I've encountered is very friendly and accommodating, and the pizza here is great.
The cocktails are really good and the games are fun. It's a small bar that you'd have to be looking for to find but it's worth it. Arcade bars are great but typically obnoxiously packed & this one is never too packed. The drinks were really good & the bartenders are nice. Best part? They have food! Their beer pretzels are great! I also really enjoy that they participate with TouchTunes so you can play your favorite songs while enjoying the games, beer & food! I will be returning as soon as time permits!
Large craft beer selection with fun arcade games set to free play. Note: pinball and beer pong games aren't on Free Play. Food menu during Happy Hour (4-7pm) is a good deal. Perfect for a night on the town or a quick drink after work.
great drinks. quieter spot compared to some. most the games are free and you can play the jukebox. bartender was super cool
Very cool atmosphere with old school arcade games, like PacMan, Space Invaders, Centipede; unlocked and ready to play. Full bar with many draft beer choices. Pizza and meatballs were delicious. Worth a visit
This place is so close to perfect. Amazing beer selection. Rather good Pizza. Free retro video games and pinball. They even have board games to play. But as the night guess on they keep raising the volume on the music. It gets so loud you can't talk and then good luck playing one of those games.
This place is fun! Beer options are pretty good with good variety. The arcade is fun and playing these retro games were delightful. Not somewhere I'd stay all day, but really fun for an hour or so. Food slection is minimal, but a good value and what I got was good.
I was only in Columbus for a few days, but after coming here one night, we decided this was our barcade of choice for the rest of week. It's very relaxed and can be a place to just hang out or a place to play board games. The beer was awesome and fair priced ($6 for a pint of craft beer brewed downstairs isn't bad). The free arcade games and SEGA Genesis (albeit the controller was a little broken) were great. Bartenders were very nice and quick to remember what you had, even when you came back the next day.
It was really so amazing here. Very great atmosphere
It's a nice arcade bar that serves pizza. I would give it more stars but it's not the best place honestly a bit of a dive bar. Great atmosphere to hang out though.
Free arcade games and board games with purchase of drink(s). Can't go wrong. Had a great experience. They also have a food menu, but we did not use it. Played Ticket to Ride while having drinks and conversing. Great place and must check it out if you haven't!
This place is phenomenal. They have a LOT of taps, a great selection of games and ... yes, Skee-Ball! The fold-out holders for your pint while you play are a nice perk, too. The 40 taps include several favorites from Barley's downstairs, but the overall selection is really good. Great destination for your night out.
Loved this place. Good drinks. Free arcade games. Staff was fast too.
Very cool bar-arcade! They have Street Fighter Third Strike. I highly recommend it. The only problem I've had is that their hours are skewed late, and sometimes they are closed for private parties. I brought a date here once only to find it was closed for a private party that day. :( So we went to 16 bit.
A great little intimate place to get some good food and great bruise Wednesdays are wing nights 75-cent wings
Great bar! Too bad we discovered it without time to go back. It's in a loft and holds about three dozen people. No reservations were needed for Thursday night, but I can't speak for Friday or Saturday. Free arcade games _except ping pong_ while you're drinking or eating, and the bartender was kind to those who were drinking N/A all night and to the rowdy among us ordering several rounds of shots. Comfortable tables for large tabletop games; the bar owns 3 dozen+ eurogames, and Exploding Kittens and Uno. The
Meh. The games we played had stick issues. If your model is based on classic video games make sure they work right. You only have about 14 games it should be easy to maintain. The place looks like if they had 50 people in there they would be breaking a fire code, but....
Well I was in town for a couple of events and wanted to hit some of the arcades in downtown Columbus. I chose this place because of its location. Apparently though there was a private party and it wasn't really clear. I tried to pay for my beer but she wouldn't accept my money. After she gave me the beer I was playing one of the rickety old burger time games. She came over and tried to take my beer saying I wasn't part of the party. She said that host of the party approached her but I don't think that's tru
It's a small bar and arcade above the Barley's bar and restaurant. All arcade games are free and they have board games if you ask the bartender. They have NBA Jam, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Crusin USA, ETC. All the classic games from your usual arcade. Doesn't get too busy either, so there's usually open games to play.
They have an awesome selection of arcade games to play while you drink your drink of choice. Tons of great local and in house brews on tap! Can't wait to come again.
Nice local place with retro arcade and board games to keepnyou entertained. Good selection of mini starters such as personal pizza which are very tasty. Prices not too extreme and partnership with Pelatonia for causes was an added bonus.
The catch here is the cache of 80's and 90's arcade video games. There is a large selection of craft beers and ok food (we had pizza which was serviceable). If you want to drink good beer and play Space Invaders, Galaga, and Centipede in the Short North this is your spot.
This place is awesome. The pizza is amazing and the service is fast. They have a great selection of arcade games. Drink are also reasonably priced.
Great bar - food, drinks, and games! Whether you want to play an arcade game, card game, or select board games, they have something for everyone. Great spot to hang out!
I don't drink, but they have free arcade games, so I'd give them 6 stars if I could.
Staff is awesome, games (board and arcade) are on par and beer selection is on point. Do yourself a favor and during your visit try their Blood Thirst Wheat, if you haven't tried it yet!
Week night, not crowded. Good pizza! Fun older video games but take hand sanitizer with you to avoid picking up a bug.
Brewcadia offers solid beer selection and offers complimentary games. On my most recent visit the music played so loud conversing with friends was difficult. There also appeared to be only one Bartender despite being a busy Saturday night. The bartender provided good service.
Arcade games, board games, good variety of drinks, delicious pizza, great happy hour specials, and touch tunes! I like this place, however, this place is not built to have a large crowd which sometimes occurs.
Great variety of craft beer. Atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Overall great staff and speed of service! Also be sure to have dinner downstairs at barleys.
If you're coming here for more than beer and pizza and decent games, you're new. This place has awesome beer selection, the pizza is killer and free games to boot. Solid sneak place.
We had a group mixer here and the pizza and service were outstanding! And the video games...come on son! Awesome place!
This place is one of the best things in the Short North. Besides having Barley's beer on tap, the free video games, not crazy loud music, it's a great place to hang out with friends. Go there.
Could have been a really cool place. The atmosphere started out great but the service was horrendous. We've been in town for a few days and this is by far the worst I've seen. If the bartender doesn't like her job, she needs to move on. I would not recommend this place at all. Save your money
Fun games, quite small. They have a few games that you need to pay for, which is fine, but they don't have an atm to get cash out which is a bit inconvenient.
Amazing place a little pricey drinks but all around fun they have board and arcade game with a spread sheet it give suggestions for board games based on group size
Take a stroll down memory lane with free play on a ton of old arcade games and skeeball while sipping from a selection of over 40 delicious local craft beers. I conquered X-Men and got a 500 in skeeball in the same night!
Pizza was half off and delicious, the house blood wheat ale was great too. Full great meal for 9 bucks, cant beat that at a convention.
Great space, almost all of the arcade games are free and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be going back when I'm in the area again.
Great food and prices. 20ish beers on tap. Great atmosphere and has older arcade games to play.
Great service! But more importantly great selection and pricing of the wines. Feels like your neighborhood bar, the employees make you feel right at home.
This was a very clean bar, very good food, and the bartender Meridith needs a pay raise, she was fast friendly and very efficient, plus the beer selection was great and a lot of arcade games to play
Beer, board games, video games, and bar food. Great atmosphere and place to hang after a conference next door. Highly recommended.
Free arcade games to play! Hard to get up the steps.
Dope spot. Music sucks or lack thereof. But it's alright
Great low key place to pregame before CBJ hockey. Pizza was spot on and plenty of beer choices.
We didn't eat here. The drinks were good. The bartender was excellent.
Super fun place to go. Because honestly, who doesn't like video game themed drink name's and playing mortal kombat
Cool place to hang out and catch a couple vintage games. Pin ball is affordable and a lot of fun.
Great service, bartender was great Awesome Games
Only been in the upstairs space. Food options are very limited and they don't do beer flights. Space is somewhat small.
Absolutely great time nice selection of vintage games as well as great drinks
Low key spot with a good vibe. Excellent service with clean bathrooms. This was a nice little find.
Fun atmosphere! Good beer selection and free games
Great selection of beer at a good price. Happy hour makes it even better!
Not a ton of good games, no atm for cash games. My least favorite barcade I've visited in Columbus.
Small but solid selection of board and arcade games. Everything is free to play with a drink!
Free games great drinks
Showed up on a night that was suppose to be open until two, just to find a woman waving me off, mouthing we're closed. It was eleven. No good times for me ??
Good times to be had. It would be five stars except that some of the games were down when we visited.
Games are free to play and drinks are really well done ????
Very nostalgic for any 90's kid.
Good food and beer. Some classic games but missing decent shooter games.
Attended a business event. Food was good. Ate at the bar.
Nice beer selection, free games and good music playing
Good beers. Decent prices. The hottest wings are tasty af.
Brewcadia is a nice spot to go to in the Arena District area. I like how this place is small an intimate.
Great beer and free games, what more do you need!
Please get air conditioning. It's too hot to be in there drinkijng which defeats the purpose of a brewery and arcade.
Always great to drop in and play some video games, this is an ideal location to meet up with friends and have a good time.
Unfortunately it was closed around dinner time on a Saturday. Very upsetting had a bachelorette party that wanted to go there
You can't beat great drinks with a small yet solid selection of board games and free-to-play arcade games.
Never had a negative experience here. Plenty of Old school games, Ski ball and more
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
