Great selection of classic and new games, plenty of new pinball machines, definitely worth the admission price. Large selection of beer.
Pricey, but actually a DEAL if you stay a while. We usually go to Dave and Busters but decided to give this place a shot and we were very impressed. It has many of the exact same games as D&B but it's less crowded and you have unlimited play once you pay the entrance fee. My young children had a blast and we could all play as MUCH as we want which is pretty special. Shout out to the Halo game and the deer hunting game! Almost every game worked and they quickly helped us when asked. D&B may look nicer but if
This was a wonderful gaming establishment with plenty of things to do. From vintage arcade games, competitive pinball, and more modern games, you will find yourself entertained for hours. There is a ton of space and a wonderful staff. The bar has sooo many options and has something for everyone. I highly recommend coming here over the likes of Dave and Busters or other comparable places. 10/10.
Look, if you are an adult it's a much better experience. Very nostalgic. 3 stars. Most of the classics work. Impressive collection of pinball machines. IF you are bringing your children ages 5 to 12... Go somewhere else. The majority of the 2 player games had either damaged screens or busted control's. The few games to win " credits " for prizes do not work. Multiple games when using your prepaid card take the credit and dont launch the game. i told the only staff member and she said " oh yeah some of the m
A truly astonishing collection of working arcade games and pinball machines, some dating back to the 1950s, in working condition at a great, accessible price. At the time of this review, for $25 you get an all you can play experience with at least 25 pinball machines, and 40-50 arcade machines. They also feature a surprisingly decent beer selection, and food (which I have not tried since they started serving)! Expect a few here and there to be in need of some repairs, but I think that is understandable give
Games are free with admission. So many to choose from could easily spend hours there for only ten hours. The food was not great but I didn't expect it to be. But you get a wristband so you can grab food any of the great places nearby and return. No problem. Plenty of parking nearby if you can't find a place in the small parking lot
It was a nostalgic arcade with plenty of games. Went there in a huge group and had a good time. Also hit some pretty good scores. Lmk if you beat me.
This place was awesome. If you like nostalgia and remember the old arcades as a kid, this is the place for you. Lots of old games, new games, pinball everywhere, carnival games and they even serve beer. Found lots of old pinball games I hadn't seen in years. This will be a regular stop for us from this point forward. update: This place is still awesome a year later. My kids love it here!
$15 gets unlimited access during their open hours. For additional money you can collect tickets for prizes but that's not anything I'm after. My family and I had a fantastic time and quickly blew way past the time we were initially going to leave because we were all having so much fun. There's a huge selection of old arcade games and even some more modern ones. It's a significantly better atmosphere than barcade in my opinion.
I've never been to a more amazing arcade. It's a one time fee to get in and then all of the games are open to be played! They have games from the 80s all the way up to current including 3-D and many of the classics like ski ball and an entire row of pinball games. I could spend many hours here and I did!
My fianc? and I went here and we loved it! He finally got to beat a game from his childhood. You pay one price to get in, and all the games (except a few like the claw machines) are free to play. They do offer a military discount with ID. They also have food and drinks. You can also leave and come back as long as you have your wristband. My only complaint is that some of the games next to the windows are hard to see when it is daytime. *Edit* Replying to owner: He beat Spiderman!
This barcade is a nostalgic gem, offering an impressive selection of vintage arcade games for unlimited play. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, creating a welcoming environment. The combination of classic games and a relaxed vibe makes it a perfect spot for both casual players and seasoned gamers looking for a fun time. Whether you're there for the games or the great service, it's a place that stands out for its charm and nostalgia. Highly recommended for a fun, low-pres
Whole lotta fun! Tons of games (both modern and retro), a lot of pinball machines, and they have a bar in the back. Definitely a lot of fun with a bunch of friends. A little pricey (especially the drinks) but I don't mind the price tag especially since its a local business. That being said you only pay an entrance fee then you can play all the games you want!
This place is great! A truly amazing arcade not far from downtown Gainesville with a single $25 entry for free play on all, or almost all, of the machines. I haven't seen a free play arcade like this since I went to DisneyQuest years ago. The selection ranges from the truly antique, including several wooden pinball machines with manual scoring, to the modern. There is a huge selection of pinball machines with highlights including Star Trek, Rush, Deadpool, and The Hobbit all of which were new to me. To acco
Nice selection of some old school and some newer titles. A very eclectic mixture. Excellent atmosphere and even a few that I'd not seen before. Also saw a few in storage awaiting repair that once fixed will make fine additions to the current lineup. Will absolutely be back.
Obviously a passion project for someone who cares deeply about video games and pinball. This is almost a gaming museum. Whoever owns this place deserves a thank you and a solid high five. I wish them great success. Worth a trip from Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville.
I think it's important to note that the employees that work at Bragging Rights appear to be college students. They all seem very nice. This post is in reference to the owner or whoever the manager is. My husband and I have been to this video game bar twice. The only reason why it was fun is because we made it fun, but the last time that we went was the deal breaker. We won't be going to this video game bar again. Simply because 60% of the video games were working and they still charge the full price. What w
Awesome arcade! This place is a great time. There's a ton of machines to play with a great variety of games of all different types. It's a one time entry fee to play anything in the building. Absolutely worth it. And there's a bar in the back if you get thirsty. Definitely check this place out!
One of our new favorite places! We celebrated a birthday here and it was perfect! I found all the games/machines to be very well maintained and in working order. Both kids and adults had a blast!
This place is awesome!!!! Once you pay entry you don't pay for anything else to play the games! An ENTIRE arcade to play! Everything from Galaga to ski ball! We had a party of 4 and one child, and a service dog and everyone had a blast for hours! Highly recommend!
Love this place. Great for date days/nights yet also great for family fun for both kids and adults alike. So many games in good condition and pretty clean/organized. Plenty of parking across the street at the time of this post if they look full (pictured). Great staff and fair price as well! In my opinion this is so far the best value in food, service, and gaming in town at the time of writing this review. Hats off to Crystal, James (the GM), Sammy, and Andrea. They were wonderful during a family birthday p
Bragging Rights is a great place for weekend fun- $25 cover and free play once inside. Great variety of games. Serves drinks (soda, water, beer, wine) and snacks. Great place to take the kids or if you love old school arcades.
Very friendly and helpful staff. All kinds of games new and old. Loved playing the pinball machines for the first time in my life. I love the $15 play all you want as well. Want to go back.
The price to play games for free is ridiculous because MOST OF THEM DO NOT WORK!! I have better options on my game system at home. Pass on this, for real...unless you really like getting a wedgie? Better things to do with your time. I was bored after 20 minutes. Left feeling like my unders were pulled up over my head... just say "NO!"
This place is incredible! The collection of machines is extensive, spanning decades of arcade history and many styles of game. Pinball, side scrollers, racing, shooters, carnival classics and more! The atmosphere is really fun, larger than life statues and memorabilia fill the space nicely with sitting areas set up with vintage furniture and lamps. It's a great place to try new games and hang with friends.
With a good selection of games fun atmosphere and awesome prices and deals I will definitely be back to enjoy some gaming classics the pinball room is my favorite so many fun choices and the cabinet selection is awesome too they even have marvel vs Capcom can't wait to go back!!!
Highly recommend, for you, for your kids, everyone! Good fun to be had by all. Clean, bathrooms, water fountains, snack/drink bar, seating area, and tons and tons of super awesome games to play. My favorite part is the 1 time fee and play all day for free!
What an awesome place. They have every single old arcade. It was fun and brought back some memories for sure. Can't wait to go back.
One of the few things I'll dearly miss when I leave Gainesville, always love visiting here and always spend a minimum of 4 hours each visit, really appreciate the student discounts as well.
Cheap. Lots of great games, drinks. But the music was really loud, and the lights were very bright. Not the best place to be if you're easily overstimulated or have a history of epileptic seizures. Good at shorter intervals (Of course, they let you leave and come back again multiple times without charging a new entry fee, so you can take breaks.)
Lots of games, so kuddos for that. However, walking around...sooo many of them were broken in some way. Of the normal pinball and arcade games, maybe a 1/3 were broken in some way. This is conjunction that on the weekend its like a $27 entry fee, feels like the quality doesn't match the price. Hope they either drop their pricing or improve the quality of their machines.
Multiple games break in the middle of Playing. These games are probably the ones that have been bought refurbished or something. They know that multiple games are broken and act confused when customers approach to inquire why it is frequently happening. Wouldn't recommend coming back. You might want to go to Dave and Busters instead. What's the point of unlimited play if the games aren't quality?
Good nostalgia for adults. My kids love going here as well, lots to do for all ages if you like video games/air hockey/skeeball
Honestly, it's the most fun I've had since I was a kid! Childhood dream of all-you-can-play arcades is a reality
Great mix of video games, old and new school. Enjoy it with a varied selection of adult beverages. Will definitely be back to beat some games.
You pay a flat fee but afterwards, practically all of the games are free. They've got a large selection, including pre-digital games. I personally really enjoyed Michael Jackson's Moonwalkerm
Lots of fun retro arcade games and pinball machines in addition to modern games offering a multitude of single player and multi-player games
There are lots of games for everyone to enjoy. It was a cool experience. I'll definitely be coming back.
This place is amazing! After a disappointing visit to Dave and Busters happened to run across this gem of a place. Have found a few other arcades like this across the US on our travels and this has to be one of the best! Loved all the pinball machines and many other unique games I have not seen in other arcades. Nice having the bar to grab and drink. Not too crowded so was easy to play everything. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town!
This place is worth every penny!!! Took my 7 year old. Had a blast!!
Great environment, lots of fun retro entertainment. I highly recommend.
Had a great afternoon with my family Had a great Brunch here The staff was really friendly And the food was good
10/10! Enjoy a yummy meal downtown and then hop over to this wholesome spot for a fun evening. There is a bar and snacks are also served, but the focus is the games. Skeeball, DDR, PacMan, Centipede, Galaga, and more pinball machines than you can shake a stick at. The cover charge may seem steep, but it covers almost all of the games so buying tokens or loading yourself down with quarters isn't necessary and actually saves you money in the end. I can't say enough good things about this place; great staff, f
Excellent place to enjoy with the kids lots of old school games for the older generation too!
Not great. Main reason we came was for the pinball machines, and it's obvious no one maintains them. A few tables had the balls jammed, some just got stuck where troubleshooting didn't pop them out, and some just unplugged showing trouble with the tables. The selection brought us out, and I think the collection is one of the best in Florida, but it doesn't mean anything if you can't play the tables anyways.
I love this place. It's a hidden gem of Gainesville, playing old school arcade games. They have a pretty epic collection of old games, eccentric games and of course pinball. The games are old so some of them are busted but given the age of some of them 30-40 years that's to be expected. Oh and they have a good selection of beer and cocktails.
1st time there and it was much bigger then expected. They had all the classics. Great time.
Went for the first time today. Loved every second. Totally worth the money. The staff was really nice. The place was clean and busy but not overcrowded. I never had to wait for a turn. A huge variety of games for all ages. It was really enjoyable playing old school games and being able to keep hitting the continue button without dropping endless quarters into it. The parking is kinda bad but has the upside of keeping the place from getting totally swamped with patrons. I would absolutely come here again and
Great place to spend the day will be goin back soon
Amazing place for retro games and newer ones.
This place is awesome! 25$ for all day, family-friendly play. They offer drinks and snacks to fuel your fun! They are consistently adding new games, and you can see the games that they are repairing or working on. I look forward to going there every time! The games are admittedly a bit old, but it's perfect if you're looking for a nostalgic experience. TONS of pinball machines!
Okay, folks. Let me break this down. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING ????!!!! Over 150 pinball machines!! Love the oldest of the old arcade games? They have them all!!!!!! Great for birthday parties. It doesn't matter if you are 55 or 5, you will leave more than satisfied!! They do have beer and other drinks. But, you can also bring in outside drinks!! Like unheard of! $20 will get you a bracelet to play ALL DAY LONG!! no quarters, no game card needed. All the games are available for free with the bracelet. If you liv
This is one of the best arcades I've ever been to. It's huge, clean, and has an awesome mix of bombastic new games and wonderful vintage ones. I especially love the old cabinets and games - it's like playing a piece of history. There are some seriously cool games in here! It's a little expensive at the time of this writing, but I feel it's worth it and have been several times already with no regrets. The half off admission at night is nice, though I wish it started a little earlier in the night. (25 USD pe
Honestly they went down in quality and a lot of the fun games are no longer available Some games don't work Some games you can't play because kids ripped the cards off of them It used to be nice and it's a nice concept and $25 per person is reasonable when it was at its peak The food is on top Overall, the environment is loud and has that arcade theme to it?. Just needs some upkeeping
Great spot for kids before dark and adults after dark. Free play with a great selection of pinball games, retro games, and modern games. Some ticket redemption games are available for tokens if that's your jam. My favorite was the N64 with four controllers attached.
The awesome part is the variety of games and the price is pretty good. The only negative (4 stars out of 5) is the inside of the building smells pretty strongly. It's not necessarily unpleasant, but it is strong.
We recommend bragging Rights to all of our customers here at Depot Village! They have all the classic games and most of the new!
Bragging Rights Amusements is truly a paradise for gaming enthusiasts of all ages. As one of the largest arcades in the Southeast, it offers an impressive array of both vintage and modern games, ensuring that everyone can find a game that suits their taste. The venue is well-maintained, clean, and organized, while the staff is equally commendable, always available and ready to assist. The highlight of the arcade, however, is its nostalgic charm, which transports you back to the golden era of arcade gaming.
Reasonable price for everything. Awesome place. Trust me
Good drink selection for beer and wine. I would rather come here than Dave and busters. Wednesdays are the best day but if you're a night owl the weekends may work better. Also better than Barcade if you are there for the games and not the bar scene.
Wonderful nostalgic place with loads of entertainment
This is one amazing place. It was clean, the bathrooms tidy, the food areas clean, and service was good. Only found 3 games that were out of service. Wonderful staff. Great games. Stayed for 4 hours. Definitely got our money's worth. Not crowded. A+!
Absolutely loved this place! Kids get to play all the games they want, without running out of money! And the music playlist is absolutely awesome! Thank you! I can't wait to come back!
We had a great time here. Endless games. We will visit again soon.
This place is absolutely amazing! $25 all you can play (with no time limits as far as I know) is such an amazing deal. You would normally spend far more at Dave and Buster's, and deal with much more of a crowd, with less interested employees. The moment we walked in, we were greeted and explained how everything worked without having to feel awkward about it. This place truly has something for everyone. If you're an old school gamer who misses pinball and arcade games of the past, you'll be delighted to fin
Awesome place!! Completely full of games for a 1 time fee. Every Pinball machine you could ever think of. We will definitely be coming back!
Had a great experience at Bragging Rights Amusements! Didn't play any of the games but got a drink at the bar and ate from the food truck. The staff was so sweet and the food was honestly one of the best tacos I've had in awhile. Will definitely return, if not for the games than for the food!
We took my girlfriend and 1 of my daughters new years day and we had a blast .you can play all day and never play every game. They have something for every age .I'm 68 and brought a lot of memories back. My only complaint was the air-conditioning was weak in some areas.but for the $25 a person is a great deal .you can leave come back ust keep band on
Was there for a team building event. The place is old school arcade place. Had lots of fun.
All the staff were friendly and nice. Some of the games and areas were very dim and hard to see though. We had a good time and spent about 2 hours here. Mostly old fashioned pinball machines, but a good mix of everything. I would 100% rather support this awesome small business compared to Dave & Buster's! We didn't try any of the food, but they had a large selection of drinks. The Pina Colada slushie was to die for.
Incredible venue! My brother took me here after I mentioned that I could not find any arcades with that ?retro? experience anymore and this is EXACTLY what I was looking for! The staff is super friendly, you can get sodas if you want, and you can play AS MANY games as you wish for only $25?! CRAZY! Not only that, this place carries one of my favorite classic arcade games of all time, Tapper. I adore that game so much and played it a TON before I left. Definitely will be coming back soon with friends! KEEP
This place rocks. We drove 45 minutes to check it out and will come back again.
We went for the first time last night and this place is AMAZING! I saw games I haven't even thought of for decades (I'm old!). The pinball machines are mind blowing. The cover charge changes EVERYTHING, because you can get to levels on games you never would before, just because you ran out of quarters. TBH, the $25 per person seemed high, but I'm sure we would have spent 3 times that playing as much as we did. My only suggestion would maybe be some kind of membership? Like at my yoga studio? Where you could
Unlimited play for $25 and an amazing selection of games! We always spend a few hours when we go. Perfect for kids and adults.
My manpanion and I are from Ohio and were in town visiting friends. I happened upon this place at random. We had a great time! Everyone was so nice and really wanted us to have fun. There are a TON of old and new games and everything was in good working condition! I'm so glad we went, and we'll be back the next time we're in town. :)
This place is amazing!! My friend and I had so much fun here. The deal is great - $25 for all day unlimited game access, you can even leave and come back if you wanted. Everything is clean and the game all pretty much were working. They have a great selection to choose from and there's something for everyone.
It's a great spot to take your family or some friends. Would give it Stars but there just doesn't seem to be a reason for more than 1 visit.honestly way to many pinballs and not enough modern games that keeps me coming back,as well as missing some arcade staples. Good people running it,clean.
We make a point of visiting Bragging Rights every time we come to Gainesville. Thoroughly enjoyable for young and old!
This was such a fun place. The kids love it! The games are great. Such a value! Also? The food truck (coco?s ramen and tacos) has literally the best ramen and cucumber salad that I have ever eaten?.the food truck provides the food for the arcade. Parking can be tricky, though.
My daughter & her BFF enjoyed spending her birthday here today for 3 hrs!
Great place. My granddaughter loves it, and so do I. Games and food are cheap and great ??
Absolutely incredible. So many new and old arcade games. I grew up on the New Jersey boardwalk so there was always an arcade :-) and it was great to experience that again. There is a door cover that I didn't know about and I kind of walked in without paying and didn't realize it until an hour later lol but either way, I'm definitely coming back to enjoy my childhood again. ...... Even the bragging rights logo is classic I love it
I highly recommend you bring your kids to this arcade because it is a small fee to get in and you can play almost all the games for free with the entrance free. Definitely going to be bringing my kids back.
Great set of unique and fun games, with a great mix of old tried and true classics. Friendly staff and well worth the money. Update: Improvements at the bar area, offering of different passes, and increase in food/drink options make this an even better experience. Top that with different games over time and it's a 5 star on my list. :)
Went on a Sunday afternoon and there wasn't much of a crowd when I arrived. The friendly hostess informed me about the free play for 25 dollar admission, which I did. Upon entering, there was a good amount of vintage and new games. I enjoyed skeeball as a kid, and I was glad to see many skeeball machines that were free to play. Unfortunately, one did not score properly, but the other ones worked fine. I also enjoyed the rocking horse riding game, Final Furlong. However, it was quite a workout to bob the hor
Most of the machines don't work/the cards attached to them don't work. I was really looking forward to a claw machine or two but none are in there. I went to order food and no one was there to take an order even waited around for that. You spend $53 for two people just to play games no prizes no tickets just an armband and hopefully you can play the games you like. Personally I didn't enjoy it.
Lots of fun, my kids can't get enough
So many games! I haven't seen this many games since my birthday party at Aladdin's Castle in 1991! This was a great place for me to celebrate my 40th with my kids. If you're looking for a real authentic arcade, this is it!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
