Bowlero Woodland Hills

Bowlero Woodland Hills

Reviews Summary

Bowlero Woodland Hills receives mixed reviews, with many praising its fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and good deals, particularly for group events and parties. Positive highlights include well-maintained lanes, lively ambiance, and attentive service. However, criticisms focus on high prices, inconsistent cleanliness, and issues with pin mechanics (strings affecting gameplay). Some guests report poor service, long wait times, and dissatisfaction with value. While families and casual bowlers often enjoy the experience, serious bowlers may find the setup lacking. The arcade and food receive occasional praise but are also noted as overpriced. Overall, it’s a popular spot for social outings but has notable drawbacks.

? 1 Star ? Major Safety Hazard at Bowlero Woodland Hills I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Bowlero Woodland Hills due to a serious safety issue that was completely ignored by the staff. While we were bowling, every lane and all of the seating areas had wet floors. I brought it up to the staff, and they simply said they were ?cleaning the lanes at the moment? ? while guests were actively bowling! There were no wet floor signs anywhere ? not by the lanes, seating areas, or ball returns

We had a FANTASTIC experience here. HUGE shoutout to Danny. First, it was crazy that this place was even open on Thanksgiving (they really didn't have to be). But second, Danny was so awesome and generous and told us that he wanted to make sure his staff had Thanksgiving off. He was running the whole place by himself! This place might be a tad expensive, but it's so worth it. However, the beer tower is an EXCELLENT value - it's like less than $5 a beer value wise. The arcade also has lots of fun games. The

Bowlero is a great place to take the family for some fun! The atmosphere is lively and energetic, perfect for getting everyone excited. The lanes are well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We especially appreciate the variety of activities available, from bowling to arcade games, which keeps everyone entertained. It's a fantastic way to spend quality time together and create lasting memories. We highly recommend Bowlero for a fun-filled family outing!

Summer Pass is a waste of money. Never a good experience here. I've bowled here almost every week for 6 weeks so far and only once did a server ask if I wanted food or drinks even though they have menus ON EVERY SINGLE LANE. It's not even good for practice since it's full of inconsiderate customers that can't even use common sense when taking turns on the lane. This place is only good for goofing off but no real bowler (even a casual one) would consider bowling here regularly. And the men's bathroom has no

The manager Shayne is very professional and helpful!! Thank you for providing good service to my family and I. Bowlero has a safe and fun environment where everyone will enjoy themselves even if you can't bowl!!! The new bowling machines are easy to use as well!!

Bowlero Woodland Hills is a fantastic spot for a fun and lively bowling experience, whether you're with friends, family, or coworkers. The venue blends a retro aesthetic with a modern, upscale atmosphere, making it more than just your average bowling alley. The lanes are well-maintained, and the lighting and music create a vibrant, energetic setting that enhances the experience. One of the standout aspects of Bowlero is its exceptional service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to help,

We went there early weekday afternoon and had many lanes to choose from as well as shoes and bowling balls for the young ones. We were celebrating my granddaughter's 4Y birthday. I say this with the greatest kindness but don't let the locale and outside building visual fool you, the inside is awesome, the music was banging, lighting was incredible, food was delicious, and liquor/spirits were fun! Kids enjoyed the bowling and the arcade! We had a blast! Lastly, thankfully we arrived early as it quickly

Went last night (4/10/25) as a first time bowler. Lots of lanes were available and the staff was quite courteous and professional. Price is reasonable so just about anyone can go. There are also arcade games available. It's a very nice establishment and I would recommend it to everyone.

Best bowling place , we've been in a while and for a great price!

From booking, arrival, and overall attention to detail and is collectively was a great experience!! My family felt like we're VIP and treated with the utmost respect and quality of service! Our server Bre was exceptional!! Our host, Jo was amazing as well!! We simply loved the personal touch of having our last name in lights, the presentation was just memorable!! We are definitely doing this again! We celebrated our family visiting from Jersey and they left extremely impressed!

Well, let's say that from the management and security to the attendants and the bartenders. You guys are running a pretty tight ship. I highly recommend it for friends, family, and in general fun. My experience was great and encouraged me to come back again and again. I actually signed up for the summer pass, and i'm truly excited to be a part of it. From Kaitlyn, Natalie, Salissa, Shane, and Alaysha. You have great staff and thoughtful employees.

I went yesterday 5/1/25. First time ann an amazing experience!!! Food was bomb drinks and everything in general!!! For sure me and my friends going back

Fun place. Several deals to maximize the fun. Plenty of parking.

I really hope management reads this review. First off we decided to celebrate our daughter's 12th birthday here. We payed over $600 for 5 kids and 5 adults. That included food, bowling, and arcade cards. We get to our two paid lanes and notice right off the bat that the party next to us is not very " welcoming " . They immediately start staring at us and whispering. I could see the older man of this particular group grow increasingly aggressive. His behavior was just odd. The next thing I know, a woman t

Awful experience at this bowling alley. Usually we go to the Winnetka bowling alley, but thought we should try Bowlero instead. The bowling experience itself was ok. Never order anything from this place. We ordered one plate of wings and a kids meal and one Oreo shake at 7:24 PM. We didn't get our food until 8:05 PM. We asked about our Oreo shake twice before they brought it out at 8:25 PM, right as we were leaving. When I told the server that we were leaving and needed a to go cup, he made us wait at the b

This place has changed ownership over the years, one of the local bowling places around the valley/Calabasas area. They've remodeled and looks better inside than the outside. Newer lanes, ambiance is great, arcade is updated and the food service is great. Servers are attentive and food is decent. Great for birthday parties and other events One update I don't like are the new pins that's attached with a string. It changes the way the pins fall

This place was amazing. It was low overhead and accommodating. We bowled 4 games, ate the appetizer sampler and had some drinks. My wife and I had a great night!

I never thought that dirty bowling alleys existed.....especially now that Covid exists. The table at my lane was very dirty with food from the previous group. There was a liquid spilled on the floor beside the table. I grabbed napkins to clean the floor because I didn't want us to slip. All of the menus were dirty. The floor under the bowling ball return was extremely dirty. And the ball returns on the lanes next to us were all dirty too! I couldn't believe it! There was even an old duty french fry at

It was my first time here and I loved it! We played a couple hours of bowling, ate pizza and played some arcade games. My kids enjoyed their time and we would definitely come back again.

I have never been here before and I was so amazed by the interior design! It is so beautiful. Not only was it nice but also the manager Izzy was very helpful whenever we had questions. She was very kind and very attentive with our party. Always made sure we had water and our drinks Will definitely come back here again!

It was fun and food was good but for myself and 4 kids it cost over $70 just to bowl one game. The arcade is pricey and prizes are not good. Food was pricey too. If you don't mind spending the $$ you'll enjoy it.

I had an unforgettable birthday celebration with friends at Bowlero! I'm incredibly grateful to the hardworking staff who went above and beyond to ensure not only a great time, but also a truly special and memorable event. Thank you to Bowlero and the entire team for making my celebration exceptional!

Selena Gomez got mad at me here because I said ?No way thats Selena gomez? And she was like ?Excuse me? Im just a cashier? And I was like oh okay bye. Anyways, Cool story, met Selena gomez, and injured a toddler with a size 10 bowling ball.

shayne was absolutely incredible. made my experience amazing. will be back cause of him

Probably the worst service we have ever received. Waited for a service for 40 minutes. Asked 4 times and were told someone will be there soon. Noone ever came. We are going elsewhere.....

Best bowling experience I've had. It was clean and well maintained. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend for a fun family day.

Good vibes. Fun place to hang out with friends. Helpful staff, especially a manager named Shayne. Definitely recommend!

Nice and open bowling alley with good food and adult drinks! If you are trying to have fun with a small to medium group of adults this could be a great place. The music could be better but after a few drinks it doesn't matter ??

Had my daughter's 6th birthday here back in Feb 2024. I had 4 leftover arcade cards with 20 credits each. We recently went back and they consolidated them to 1 and advised me not to throw the cards away, they are refillable. If you need a card, they're $2 each before being filled - FYI!! If you get one as a gift, refill them, don't throw them away or you'll have to pay each time. Happy bowling and arcading!!

We had my nephews 7th birthday party last night at Bowlero! It was such a great time!! The manager Joanne and our host Nat were amazing! The food and vibes were great and the kids had the best time!

One of my favorite bowling spots. The managers Danny & Jo are great and the staff always seem to be there right when you need them (Thanks, Grant!). Great lanes, games and atmosphere. Book a reservation to avoid missing out on a lane when it gets busy.

So much fun! Went for hubby's bday/date night. Drinks are good and burgers are DELICIOUS ?? like you may slap yo mama ???? anywho... we'll be back ????????

Not accommodating to dietary restrictions Joanne is very hostile. She should not be managing events for bowelero

Fun with the kids. Clean, great arcade, food looked great--- we already ate so we didn't get to try this time. Aside from bowling there is also a pool table and ping pong. Seems like a nice local place to hang out. Easy parking.

The staff was nice enough. No complaints about that. Being said... This place was an absolute nightmare to bowl at. While the seating and screens are nice, the lanes were absolutely packed. Worse yet, our lane was completely stripped of oil by the time we were able to bowl. I couldn't even get a single good throw with my main strike ball, had to default to a spare. It was worse than a short oil pattern. It was literally a no oil pattern. Balls coming back through the ball return with absolutely zer

Nicest bowling alley I've EVER BEEN TO. Most bowling alleys I'm use to people smoking cigarettes out back and getting drunk(at least where I grew up). This is some NICE bowling. They got a damn painting of a deer in the corner. Worth the cost for a nice spot!

Great atmosphere and a ton of fun. Staff was amazing and handled a very busy environment with demanding personalities very well. Justin in particular was incredible. Arcade is great and the food was good. Would get 5 stars if they made the background screens more family friendly, put the MPH back on the screens and went back to the regular pin set up instead of the roped pins (messes up the pin play).

Really fun place and excellent service to gil riego I highly recommend this place

Loved how clean, spacious, not crowded, very friendly staff this location is!

Shayne was a really good Manager i had a great time

There are strings attached to the pins! They don't behave at all like they should. Sometimes the strings knock pins over and sometimes they just don't knock into each other at all. It is not bowling.

i loved the customer service. such a good vibe. clarissa was very helpful

This used to be a Great place for family?s and gatherings but recently it seems like the place has gone downhill the workers are all lost,Tables are left sticky, disgusting bathrooms, arcade games never work, food orders not being placed by the servers, the list goes on. It wasn't like this a few months ago. There was a purple haired girl who helped us out multiple times because our server was no where to be found for most of our event. Including checking on our food orders and keeping are space clean. I ha

Nice employees and a great night overall! Be back soon!

Great bowling alley, the person who check us in was great and so was our server for drinks. Fun place to bowl.

Family fun place for kids and adults. I just wish they could train staff on customer service. Took 15 min to check out. Maybe new staff, but could be friendlier. Also not a lot of bowling balls to choose from, had to get staff to find balls on other lanes for our group.

Friends took me here. It's a bit dark in the parking lot and inside. Recommend going with lots of friends.

Very expensive games Food quality was very bad as well ??

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Bowlero. We celebrated my son?s birthday and enjoyed the food, arcades, and atmosphere. A special thanks to the fantastic staff and front desk team!

Nice place, good price, but crooked lanes and unfair pinfall.

My family and I went to this location to use a Groupon deal. It was our first ever time bowling. Seemed nice upon checking in, there was a bit of a wait but it was a Monday so not bad but horrible experience with the manager though, he was very argumentative and seems like customers inconvenience him. He told us we put him behind because we ordered nachos ?? and blamed me for our simple order taking almost the duration of our 2hrs of bowling and never apologized instead spoke down to me in front of my kids.

Got a Groupon. Great deal but the place needs updating. The lanes were very wonky to say the least. All my balls were curved to the left almost every time. Had fun but wouldn't go to the Woodland Hills branch again.

We had our son birthday party there we can't thank enough the team there from their exceptional service , everything went smooth ,everyone left happy thank you for our amazing sever Katelynn and the manager Shayne

If you are looking for a place to have a good time with your family and friends, this is the place to be! Enjoy the music, drinks and food are superb. We had a really good time when we last visited here.

good service and amazing bowling an employee named clarissa was very helpful and kind

Deceptive. Started to book a 2 hour block and out of confusion from the website ended up booking a party for 3 people for a double birthday. Wasn't informed that it was only 1.5hrs until the lane said we had 5 min left (only 20 min.after our 3rd party arrived), and then the place decided to close an hour early without notice giving us only 5 min. left of what we thought was 45 min. we had left. Manager said he'd give us 15 min., but charge us an extra $27 for that 3rd person we thought was already booked th

Shayne Collins was awesome. He had great customer service. The staff in general were great had a party here and they were on it.

It is an interesting place. Staff is cool, food is decent, and the atmosphere is fun for children. Our package for 5 with shoes was about $260 for 2 hours, which is insane. A serious bowler would never come here. There is no proper pinsetter and the pins are on wires, which affect how they fall (or don't). It was fun for what it was but I'd be more than happy to spend 1/3 as much (or less) at much nicer alley with lanes that aren't dented.

The ambience is quite nice. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is an 8/10; however, the bowling is overpriced for just two people wanting to bowl. The arcade is not functional. Of the twenty-five dollars that I spent to enjoy the arcade with my partner, I lost half of that money due to broken games. The entire arcade is automated so there is no one to help you get your money back. It is filthy and littered with spilled drinks on the machines. The prizes that you can win are cheap and broken. This

Fun times....on the labor day weekend with kids....

This place was so much fun! We held my niece's birthday party her and the kiddos had a blast. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and they really helped us have a grand old time. The bowling was great and the arcade was large enough to keep the kiddos occupied. The boneless chicken wings were tender, crispy, and surprisingly not dry. This was a wonderful experience for our little one and I would definitely advise other people bring their families here as well!

Cheyenne (sorry if I butchered that ??), Gil, Tyler made my night so good! Thank you Bowlero for having such a great staff! Definitely coming back!

Only go if you have a reservation (which is 2hr min). I went on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm with fam only to be told all lanes were booked with parties until 4pm, if not later. We tried to stick around in the arcade (1/3 of the games don't work) and then asked for a menu. They wouldn't serve us food because the parties were too much. By 3pm half the lanes were empty? but still we weren't allowed to bowl even though no new parties were coming. They kept telling us how busy it is the mornings (again, this was a

Had a great time, nice arcade, good drinks

I celebrated my kids birthday. Everything was done online. Awful sales rep. Did not have the full information until you sign. I was never able to contact them. You had to always leave a voice mail. They did not apply the % discount. Food was ridiculous . The pizza slices were very small and variety of drinks were very limited. We got assigned to a line that was broken and placed with some older kids that were drinking alcohol. So I was not too happy about it specially having a party of small kids. They had

Went with a reservation on Father's Day. The bowling alley is very nice and the handful of staff were friendly. However for the price I expected more service. They only had one server and they weren't ready to take food orders until almost 2pm when we were on our way out. Seriously, the cook can't come in a little earlier on Father's Day? You knew you had guests coming.

Honestly service was absolutely terrible. The only good part was the bartender and the music. Waited almost two hours for a lane because they did not realize that there were several lanes that people had already left and by the time we were able to get on a lane after hearing someone say "there is actually a lot of dead lanes open" it was only 30 minutes left to bowl. They said they closed at 11 when the website and the front door said it closed at midnight. I was definitely not happy with our experience.

Great service from party staff. Fun arcade too

Staff was great and tried to help as best they could with a good attitude. Sadly their help was limited with some issues. Buttons on the bowling interface were not fully working, some needed really hard presses while other buttons just didn't work. Had issues twice with the lanes not bringing back out balls. Had issues twice with the lane glitching on the pin reset. Had issues with the gutter balls getting stuck. Arcade was great and only one game wasn't working which is fair as far as arcades go. Experienc

Food is surprisingly decent. Bowling is decent. The arcade is negative stars. Not only were multiple games broken or damaged, there is nowhere to get refunds. We played for about 20 min. Lost half the money to games that were broken or missing parts. Table hockey had no puck. The basketball connect four had the wrong basketballs and got stuck. At the end, we managed to earn 425 tickets. The prizes are through a vending machine. All very cheap prizes - fine - it's an arcade. I got toys and left them on the m

I wish there was an option to give negative stars! I took the kids a few months back on a long holiday weekend. Due to it being a long weekend, they took advantage and made you buy a package that included a lane, shoes, and a $20 food voucher per bowler. It came out to be $62 a person!!!! I got there and it was PACKED!!! Mind you I had a time slot to come in. They were also out of shoes. We started bowling and I ordered food as soon as we got there. Two hours went by and we do not get out food... let alone

took forever to gwt our drinks and after waiting they ran out of what we ordered. so instead of credit they credited my card which takes 3-5 business days to get back. so we partied with family and no drinks

I haven't been bowling in about 2yrs. Prices at other bowling locations are high but at Bowlero they have some pretty crazy good deals! Every employee I interacted with there was friendly. The cookie melt is amazing. I really enjoyed my self there. Will be going back very soon. I highly recommend this place

Made reservations and pre-paid for 2 hours. Arrived, got to our lane and sat and had to wait for them to start our game as they forgot to set up lane. Then during the game bowling pins got tangled and had to wait for 20 minutes to get them detangled. So after basically wasting a 1/2 hour of our time we ended up only playing 1 game. Went to check out to see about getting a refund for the time not used, was told if you pre-pay you are in eligible for any kind of refund. Needless to say we won't be retu

If you are thinking to ruin your kids birthday party with Poor service and not delivering what was pre-paid, I would highly recommend to stay away from here. We had purchased food for kids and to have pizza replenished. They were understaffed and did not bring the pizza for the kids as ordered. Some kids left without having pizza or food. This was so embarrassing as a parent.

We had an amazing time! The service was absolutely amazing from paying for the lanes to getting drinks at the bar. Shane was literally the best of the best. Couldn't ask for better customer service.

Fun nights, very good energy, the only problem I loos all the time. ItS probably because of me, not the place

$700 to bowl and they couldn't bring the food we ordered before we put our shoes on until halfway through our second game. To make things worse, their manager, Marcus, is completely unhelpful.

This is hands down the best bowling spot in the Valley! I've been coming here for years and refuse to go anywhere else. Not only have I've been here for small group gatherings, but have also hosted a birthday party. The service is phenomenal. The only thing you'll need to worry about is knocking those pibes down. They also have an arcade where you can unleash your inner child, capture a few pics in their Photo Booth that has a traditional camera in the both as well as an outer one for larger groups. It's pe

I wish I can give this place a negative 5 star review, that's what they absolutely deserve. Specially to Noel Marcus he was such rude and disrespectful person. I had my daughters birthday there this weekend and and spent a lot of money m, first they made a mistake with the time and all the food we had ordered for our party. We got some of the items that was originally placed but when time came to refill they ran out of everything. I asked to speak with manager after an hour of waiting for food, my guest was

I had a great time with my family here but the bowling balls are destroyed and extremely dirty, you can see dirt on your hands when your finished. The food was 5 stars great, you can order food from your phone, the employees are very nice and that's why I had to put 3 stars.

Haven't been bowling in years. Cool experience. Go early. It gets busy. Drinks are a little watered down though

The look of the bowling alley is beautiful the service is beautiful the food is a little on the pricey side but tastes very very good so I guess it's worth it now when it comes to the lanes they suck they absolutely suck these Lanes still have depends that have the string that resets the pins is absolutely hilarious and if you are a boulder that bowls with a curve or a hook it looks way too early the lanes are super greasy and shiny and even if you get used to it out there about the fifth frame it's still h

SHANNON WAS THE BESTT!! made the whole experience wonderful, her attitude and whole vibe made my whole day! best manager out there and DEFINITELY deserves a raise!! thank you shannon!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The lanes are not oiled properly to the point where it chipped my personal ball. The lanes are not even and drag down to the middle of the alley. In my lane there was spilt drinks left from the past group. The ball return was broken and when I approached staff about it nothing was done to help the situation. They tried to over charge us for sue rentals when no one in my party got shoe rentals because we brought our own personal bowling shoes. The only good things about this

It was dead no one was there horrible

Staff is rude and wastes your time if it's at all busy. We got laughed at when we were upset with the customer service and overall experience. Party of four waited an hour and a half with a 45 minute wait time, spent money in the arcade and watched many parties end and lanes get refilled while we were on top of wait list. Probably won't come back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
