Customer Reviews

I had my son?s bday here! It was really nice, he enjoyed every bit from the bowling arcades to the food!! Our hostess Tayah was outstanding will definitely go back!!

We hosted our church pastoral event here for a group of 30 to 40 people, and from planning to event day, the customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly, flexible, and made everything easy. Our assigned area was set up beautifully?we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it looked. The food was of good quality, and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. We had a few minor hiccups, but they were addressed and resolved quickly. We truly appreciated the staff?s flexibility, attentiveness, and pr

I can walk to this place from where I live. We're a senior community & have enjoyed going as a group. I don't bowl but it's fun to watch. I bought a deal on Groupon for my grandkids that live in Michigan. Didn't realize it expired b4 they arrived the next day. They wouldn't honor it & I lost $36. Lesson learned. Huge updated clean bowling alley. It's expensive. Look for specials on their website. Beware of Groupon?or I should say, pay close attention. $10.99 to bowl per game. Ouch! Food is pricy also. The a

6 year old birthday party. Jamal and Jumai was VERY pleasant, accommodating, attentive, and perfect in every way. I'm definitely going back and requesting those 2 dynamic people. ????

OMG, this place was the best ever!! The pizza, fries and fresh tenders where the best around! The manger and staff were all dancing around having a great time. IDK if they always do this but there was a face painter and Balloon artist and a big pin running around The music was pumping the drinks flowing and everyone dancing around, it was a great time!!

Had a fantastic time with my mom sister and her partner! Our server Jalen was just amazing and made it such a wonderful night! He was very attentive and made sure we were never low on anything. Highly recommend coming here and we will be returning!!!?!!

So nice & clean! We visited for the first time tonight and we'll definitely be back! The place has such a cool design and is super fun with a variety of things to do. Out toddler was so excited just like the adults. Lol! Everything is bright and colorful, screens everywhere, and the food & drinks are delivering! We got the sampler platter and literally everything was good!

This was my first time going to Western Branch AMF and it was a BLAST!! First impression: When arriving, the ambience of the facility felt exciting! As you approach the front door, the lights flashes and music playing, is exciting. I'm a stickler for dirty doors and windows and the front entrance is all glass. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the glass. Immediately I thought, ?someone is managing this place very well?. Inside Facility: Once entering the facility, it felt nostalgic like I was back

We had an excellent time there, it was great to have the options to play pool and video games along with bowling. The prices are a lil too high that could be brought down, especially the food and beverages. But, overall we had a terrific time.

The facility recently received a facelift and an expansion of the arcade. It's nice inside! The staff are all friendly. The pricing is insanely expensive. Unless you can get a Groupon to have on-hand when you want to bowl, this is not a budget-friendly family activity.

My boyfriend is on league and we have so much fun every time we go. While he's bowling I'm playing in the arcade or using the pool tables with a friend. It can be a little pricey but you pick and you choose. They offer nights with deals for bowling and the arcade. We take advantage of those nights as well.

Had a birthday party here! Excellent staff and great food. I was very happy with the experience and value!

I was surprised by how costly it is to bowl. The set up is weird. They don't have chairs around the bowling area. You have to sit at tables behind the lanes. You are out at risk of having your items stolen. Staff are nice.

If you're thinking of doing a Birthday Party here, Go for it!!! We had my sons 10th Birthday party here and the Staff were all amazing. Food was great. In particular, our hostess Alysia, the General Manager Jamal, and the Front Desk Associate Misha. I also want to add and thank the man who swept all of the confetti we wasted! I'm sorry again. I didn't get his name unfortunately. They all exceeded our expectations as we had a few hiccups and they all helped us tremendously. I'm advocating for them all to get

THE best place for a child's birthday party! The GM, event manager, and party staff are WONDERFUL! They all came and introduced themselves. Zach, our party host was super attentive. He made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was tasty and right on time (thanks to Zack.) They bowled, played in the arcade, and then tired themselves out in laser tag! The kids had a blast. We will definitely be back for more fun!

Fun time. Good service. Love the garlic fries. Very lively.

Lanes continuously jam up, the ordering app doesn't work properly, and the servers suck. I made 3 efforts in 2 hours to get a beverage with multiple servers.......and NOTHING was ever brought to me- no water, no beer, no soda. I ended up filling up my own water bottle at the lavatory. Unacceptable.

I took my grandson up there on a Friday night. Place was clean, food was good, the staff was extremely polite and helpful. We left right around 10:30, a slightly older crowd, but in general, high spirits but not boisterous. Good family atmosphere. We had a good time, will definitely return soon.

Great place great food and drinks. My kids love it. Great fun for families.

went there for a friend's company Bert Christmas party. they had some type of Mexican dish with steak and chicken fajitas. the meat was very juicy and tender, highly recommend.. nice atmosphere the staff are excellent. unfortunately the bathroom had a clogged up toilet so I couldn't give it a 5. outside of that I don't know what it cost but I don't go out there bowling.

We had a nice time going bowling at this establishment. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful with my questions about the bowling store. The waitress bring the food checked in on us. My concern was the condition of the bathroom. That a point for me....it was very run down and no toilet paper. So, that is the reason for only 4 stars.

I enjoy the atmosphere here, I travel all the way from Denbigh to come to this location. The location is cleaner, diverse music choices, it's more spacious and child friendly.

My family went here the day after thanksgiving and expected it to be busy. But the service was beyond slow. In an hour and a half, we saw our server one time and had to ask another server to bring us condiments and other things. After talking to a manager, the guy with curly brown hair, you would have thought he would have tried to rectify our experience. But, nope. The food was gross and the alcoholic drinks were terrible. Ten out of 10 would not recommend.

Overall great bowling alley. 40 lanes, nice staff, clean restrooms and all good the good bits of an AMF house. Will definitely be coming back more often.

I've enjoyed going to Bowlero. However, they have specials that are flashing on the screen at the counter and if you don't ask for it, they don't give it to you. I feel that's unfair to all patrons.

I went to this location to bowl and to have a ball drilled , Clyde was referred, this guys knows his stuff. He has corrected bad ball drills from other bowlero houses. I will not take my equipment to any other bowlero for service. I'll drive the extra miles to get it to him . I can't thank this guy enough for a job well done. He added a pinky finger hole in my ball and it feels so natural. Thanks Clyde

So. Much. FUN!!!! The food was delicious, all the workers were awesome and it's the coolest bowling alley I have ever been too!!!

Great place to kick back on a date or with the kiddos and family. Staff is nice and the smash burger is crazy good.

The service here is super! I reserved lanes & as soon as I got there I got treated kindly and quickly. They gave me a Mother?s Day gift with all kinds of goodies. The food was absolutely delicious and the waitress was fast, professional & friendly. I highly recommend this location!

Thought I would come back and update this. I had 3 people in my group, and we played 3 games. It was $89.11, I was not expecting this as the average cost per game is $5.50 in this area. Also, 1 mixed drink with a beer $25.56, I also got an appetizer plate, which was $39. It was OK but again feel like I'm being fleeced. I will not be going back. I work hard for my money, and I spent all in total $178 for 90 minutes of entertainment. I will say it is a nice facility, but still no excuse for these costs.

This is my favorite bowling alley is the "757" Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The atmosphere is amazing. They play lively music, the food is good is good, & they serve a variety of alcoholic beverages. In addition to the bowling, they have Laser Tag, pool tables, & an arcade. We celebrated my Father's Bday here in November 2022, but we also did a Bday there for my teenage son in July 2022. There is something for "everyone" to do.

They charge 11 per person per game. Not per game. Me and my friend played 3 rounds and they charged us 100 bucks total. Outrageous and deceptive pricing.

We love this place!!! Food is ok but not knocking it because of that. Great place with the family. Lazer tag is back open and feels like things are coming back normal. Highly recommend!!

We Went For My Fiance's Birthday, Took Our Kids And Had An Absolute Blast!!

Always a decent option for family activites. Check out the laser tag, that was a blast with the kids. My only real gripe was the cleanliness of the restrooms on our visit.

Always clean and the staff are friendly. My kids really have a lot of fun when we go. There are ramps for little kids to use if they can't throw the ball yet. Pizza is great!

Overly priced. Manager gave a family several coupon and freebies. Wonder why we were passed up and barely acknowledged after spending over 150

Overall experience was amazing! Our host and manager on shift were awesome! Very knowledgeable and attentive. Would absolutely return without question. The host was prompt and always readily available. I have zero complaints about the staff or service. Thank you for an awesome birthday!

Nice bowling alley, clean restrooms and good drinks.

We came during the "regrand opening" and it was a chaotic crap show. This isn't the first time I've been here, service has been much better when it's slower here...our server was the worst. She took our order and asked if we could cash out as soon as she took her order, being a past server, okay sure that's fine, made sure to tip a decent amount because I know how it is, tell me how everyone around us was getting their food even though they sat after us and our server NEVER came back to check on us and we s

Great for kids & families. Arcade has fun games & a good variety of prizes for tickets. Menu prices are mostly reasonable. Food was decent & didn't take too long. Alcoholic drinks are good & come in standard (18oz) and extra large (22oz) sizes. Plenty of bowling lanes. This is a larger bowling alley.

The place is big they have a lot activities for adults and children our son birthday we celebrate it there. They have a event planner there who give you two choices of the package they have I advice your take the all star package your get your money worth There bowling, laser tag, pool ,arcade They. Have package for adults It was very fun

My friend recommended me to drill my new bowling over here. I arrived at the place around 12.30 PM at Sunday. Pro shop supposed to open at 12. The shop was closed. Talked to the Bowlero manager and she telling she is not responsible for the pro shop since its independent. She also texted them which i guess there was no reply. She atleast could have told me when to come back or how long to stay. I guess she is busy. It left me with bitter experience since I came form all the way form Norfolk with my new bo

Cool environment when the staff is clean and courteous. Drinks were very small and high priced. Emileigh was eager to wait on us. She did not have any drink specials on the weekend. She also did not have any fruit ?? after excepting my $9 drink order with extra ??. She put the sugary drink on the table - I asked ?where's the cherries ? Emileigh went to go check . Then returned stating that the fruits did not come in . After signing the receipt, the employee did not return to the table to pick up the $9 glas

The personnel is good; however, the newly renovated atmosphere is not bowler friendly. The bowler feels so disconnected from the lanes. Bowlers should be allowed to sit in the pit. Benches should have been put down on the floor so the bowlers don't bring the chairs down. Really bad design. Even the counter is backwards and an inconvenience to the bowlers who have to leave the carpet area to approach the counter. Those who bowl in leagues can't bring there own water in. The waiter will bring you as many dri

One of Best ball driller in the area . Clean up to date facility. Love this place

Had an Awesome 4th Of July here. Service was great and food was tasty. First time trying "Frickles" and loved it.

The atmosphere was amazing. I just hate they don't sell socks. Had to go to nearest Wal-Mart to get some??

We had a great time celebrating my son 16th birthday there.

Great place to come. Diverse group of people. Huge place. Tournaments are held here and on certain days they have different events. Full service bar, pool tables (I believe 6 tables), arcade area, food station and huge alley

I bowl here several days a week. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, however, a bit on the pricey side.

Great space, Awesome Staff !!!

It was a very clean establishment. I liked the remodel; however, the customer service needs improvement. About half way through our game I tried to place a drink order and add it to my tab. They said it had to be done with a server and the cashier said she'd send someone over. Maybe 10 minutes later, no one ever came to my table. I went back to the cashier and asked to speak with a manager. He was calling around trying to see who was suppose to be waiting my table. The gentleman from the front register goes

ENJOYED A DAY WITH ST. MARK MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH FAMILY & FRIENDS. A DAY OF BOWLING WITH GAD!

They were clean, very sanitary unforced face masks for those who did not have one. Very friendly. Could be more spaced out but other than that during this pandemic they almost Aced it out the box.??

This is one of the nicest bowling alleys in the area hands down. Only flaw is many of their bowling balls need to be replaced. They have too many chips and cracks for someone who curves the ball when he bowls. They have Lazer tag, mini arcade, and pool tables which are Kool.

My family loves this place, from bowling to the arcade, for birthday parties and spur of the moment trips. Everyone is friendly and accommodating and the food is good too!

Misha at the front desk is fantastic! This place is amazing with great food, an awesome arcade atmosphere and the best bowling lanes! Great customer service by all but especially Misha! She remembered our names and everything. Highly recommend!!

The manager on duty tonight was awful! Unfortunately, this is the guy who checked us in and assigned us a lane. His name was Chris, and he did not explain everything up front, and I'm not sure what his problem was from the beginning, but he was very rude! For a "new customer," I wouldn't even ask him a question as he seemed extremely bothered by answering anything ... I guess he just expected us to know everything vs. being helpful and polite! Our waitress, however, was super sweet and helpful, and the food

Bowling here has been a delight. I love the new updates that they are making to the center. Prices are reasonable and the service is great, especially from Misha at the front desk. I enjoying playing in the arcade as well. Keep up the good work Western Branch.

It was a good time! They had a family event, the kids got a a game pass and some free merchandise, along with balloons and a they had a good DJ.

Great experience, my family and I come here often. We've only been twice since the rebrand. It was an absolute ice box inside the alley, the ac was so cold. Other than that great experience once again.

My husband and I had a great time. It started off with no one addressing us at the counter, but once the officer got their attention everything went smooth. It is very spacious inside and the bartender was very friendly. Even though the price was a bit high the drinks were good.

Great place for family fun. The food is tasty, a little pricey but, with all the fun to be had, it'ss tolerable. I would suggest looking on the website for the best times to go and any deals.

I haven't been to Bowlero before, but I had been to the bowling alley when I believe it was AMF. They were renovating, so my experience was not so great. I went on Sunday for the fun day package, which is unlimited bowling after seven until closing. We got sat to one side of the bowling alley, and there was no railing to hold onto to go down to the step to get to the actual bowling lane. There is only a small construction stick with caution tape there, so it was hard for me and my bad knee to go up and down

Had a great time. First recreational outting since Covid-. Good distancing between lanes and set up.

Bowlero is a place of fun and laughter. When I walk through the front doors I'm always greeted nicely by Misha. She always has a smile and makes sure my night is full of fun. Thank you Misha for making my experience at Bowlero great. Good Job????

Each time we come in here and Misha is working she shows us love and she try her best to accommodate us each and every time . Thank you !

Very fun. Nice new Arcade that is fun for all ages. The lanes are in good shape as well. My company has our party there every year.

Had an absolute blast!!! Forgot how much fun it was to bowl.??

If i could give zero stars, i would. Terrible service, rude employees. Overall one of the worst experiences i have had. I strongly do not recommend this location. All the others are great. I will not be returning to this location.

My family and I like to bring the kids here for bowling and arcade games and it's always a lot of fun. We recently had a birthday party for them and the staff were really nice and accommodating. They have a full menu of food and drinks, and plenty to choose for adults who want something besides pizza and chicken tenders. We usually get about two hours of bowling in before heading to the arcade. I really enjoy the vibe of this place as well, it's very clean inside with fun colorful lights, music, and plenty

Second time throwing my son a party here and it was amazing. Our hostess was absolutely amazing. My son really enjoyed himself. Thank you!

great time watching the football game and shooting pool. $12 an hour for a table is kind of high when your buying beers drinks and food all in all good time with friends

Had a great time with the family. I highly suggest it.

Great service loads of fun. Daughter enjoyed her bday party here!! Laser tag too!!

Bowling, lazer tag, an arcade, pool tables, a bar and restaurant all in one place ! Highly recommend for date nights i had alot of fun and it wasn't very crowded.

Love the new look excellent game room as well and excellent service

An Awesome experience. Managers, Staff, food was awesome. Enjoyed ourselves tremendously!!

This location has changed a lot and in a great way. The service is much better. Misha always greets me with a warm welcome and makes us feel at home. I enjoy bowling at this Bowlero.

Thought this place would be better for a 7 yr olds birthday but NOT. most horrible experience. So unless u rent several labes u can only have 1 table. There wasn't really anyone here considering we got her at 930am. Didn't see a big deal with one extra table but the manager did. Rude!!! So we had to buy another lane just to have an extra table. Definitely will NOT recommend coming to this place for any family fun!!!

Been here 5 times in the past 2 weeks. Each time I come there is always something wrong with the lane. The bowls get stuck or the lane gates get stuck. I never enjoyed bowling however when I saw, the option to get a summer pass nd come all summer long. I jumped at it thinking I could get out enjoy myself and also learn a new skill. But no I came out again on 7/15 and the so called manager informed us at 10:55 that they close at 11 pm. Even tho the signs on the door and online say midnight , yes 12. I reall

Misha showed great service and explained great deals with such enthuse. She's awesome thanks for a great time and experience!

Reserved a lane online, we had no wait for a lane. I paid $130 included shoe rental for 4 people to bowl unlimited for 2hrs. I believe that gave us 3 or 4 games. I was really fun. The alley was very clean and the waitress was very attentive. It was so much fun. The food and snacks were good. The arcade area didn't have many working games. That area really wasn't worth it. Overall it was a great family outing. Definitely will go back .

We had a great time. A little pricey but all in all totally worth it!

It's a really nice place with overall decent lanes that are with the times and good service. However, on Sundays, they need to get rid of the horrible dark bowling. It keeps those of us who actually want to bowl distracted.

So much fun, good food and drinks.

Convenient. Right off 664. The bowling lanes were nice and there was plenty of parking. My wife and I had a great time there with our friends from church. Great social gathering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
