Our family has been going to this facility for years on Jan 10th we held my mothers celebration of life in the conference room: The service by JEFF and staff was fantastic- our guests were pleased, the conference room was set up as requested. We bowled afterwards and enjoyed drinks and food. Thank you Bowlero staff for making a normally sad day absolutely perfect. Niki K and family of Linda Mouse Ohagan.
A great place to have all the fun! Our first time here and we loved it. The person at the counter was very nice and helpful. (Friday night on March 14, 2025) All the people working here was very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back.
Loved it! great atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service. Pricing is a little high but isn't these days!
Good place to relax and have fun bowling with the family
Large group. Took awhile to finish 2-3 games. Don't go for the unlimited lol. They have great beer and food options and people to help you order from your lane
Place is a joke. Machines break down more than normal, staff caters to friends they know, pro shop is a joke. Tell you they going to order a thumb grip should be here by Saturday, gave them to Monday and now it's ?idk when it will be here? on top of not being able to drill out my thumb hole when other shops I've been to seem to not have that issue
Very nice place. First time coming here. Would definitely recommend and come back
It was great for the older crowd in the morning to practice their bowling. Nice place for the family and school outings. Food was good. Try the pizza. Arcade small but fun.
Id give it a higher rate but no. We've been coming here for awhile now. When we came here one weekend, the front desk didn't mention that the place would be booked. They placed us at the very end, by the wall. It wasnt a good spot at all. We even called ahead of time if there were any lanes open. They said yes but they have a couple of reservations already. I wish they'd tell us ahead of time how many lanes were left to use.
2 Girls who working at 5:20 pm. Said they won't take coupons. So guess Groupon doesn't work at this location, or at least not while it's their shift because the guy in the prior shift had accepted them but we were waiting on our party.
Super ample.. clean and well staffed.. food is good priced.. pizza is a bit dry so eat it as soon as you get it... chicken is decent but drinks are a bit steep. Good times for sure
Just celebrated my bday there with my niece we had a great time it was fun entertaining perfect place for family and friends
This is approximately the 5th time this or something like this has happened within the last year. The bottom line is they do not honor their advertised specials and want to milk the consumer for as much money as possible. Do not give your money to this greedy corporation with similarly poor managers who care only about trying to shaft the occasional customer due to their ignorance rather than generating consistent repeating business. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR BOILERPLATE RESPONSES TO EACH REVIEW ON YELP
We celebrated my husband's 52nd birthday we enjoyed it so did our friends and guests
It was so much fun. It's been years since we've been bowling and it's the first time for our 3 and 6 year olds. They had a blast. The staff were great and helpful. They have a section for adults as well as an arcade with a giant PacMan/Galaga arcade game. Plenty to do for everyone in the family. Definitely making Bowlero a frequent family outing.
Celebrated my now teenage daughter's birthday with her friends and I was really satisfied with the their service. We enjoy 2 hours of bowling, pizza, chicken wings and soft drinks for a affordable price. I would recommend this place to anyone who is ready to have fun.
Horrible place to come, and you are bringing kids. Service was awful, waiting, including reservations 2-3 hours waiting for food and lanes, they ignored you at food service, manager no where to be found. 1s and last time will be here, especially if you are celebrating.
Great bowling alley. Liked it when it was still West Covina lanes but the new mock-up is great now a bowlero! Great specials everyday on games, food and drinks. Great place to chill and watch a game and have a drink. Good family fun as well with the arcade and lanes to play your heart out.
We decided to have our son's 6th birthday here at the last minute. I easily scheduled it online 6 days in advance. I was not sure how many kids would be coming since the flu was going around, so I underestimated. I called the day before to speak with someone, and manager, Iliana, was extremely accommodating and reassuring that everything would work out even if we were unsure of the amount of guests. When we arrived on the day of, not only was our area set up and ready, but she went above and beyond to decor
We took our son for his birthday yesterday. He loved it.
Very clean bowling alley. A lot of bowleros don't take care of their Lanes along with their seating area but this one does.
Took my son here for his 8th birthday. It was great, clean, friendly staff, and covid safe. We will be back.
I put one star because is mandatory Otherwise, I will put -5 starts really bad service they make you wait an hour or so from this poor service when you called they said yes they available and will you show up they said all all of them are taken and they make you wait for an hour or two really really bad service look for another bowling place so you can Enjoy! Really really bad service
Good place for bowling but they do not oil the lanes very much lol
Good league night experience. Lanes were well oiled. Arcade was closed for safety reasons which was a plus.
I am league bowler here . Ever week I buy food and the one week my family doesn't want to eat this nasty food anymore we try to bring in something different . They tell us no. I spend 150 a week her for my kids to play well we bowl. Management need to get clue but we can do a pot luck with no problem. I don't not recommend anyone to come here. Tell me something .
Roni the manager was the best, 5 stars isn't enough for the attention she gives to each customer. We will definitely be going back because of her?? Also she helped us with the arcade area?.
CELEBRATING ONE OF MY LITTLE BOY'S BASEBALL TEAM MATE BIRTHDAY... HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME... RECOMMENDED TO BRING YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY...
We had our 2nd Annual Bowling Tournament for our Union with over 60 participants. The customer service was great and food was delicious. A special thank you to John and all workers that day. We will be back again.
This place is really nice. They just remodeled the whole place. If your looking to have a birthday party, this is the place to be. They set up a table for you to put the food and cake and drinks. We had a blast for my grandsons birthday
Bowlero West Covina is the Real Deal. The Pro Shop owned by Aarik is Legit! He is Solid Dude!! Give Bowlero a Try for some Seriously Awesome Fun!
The pins fall great here, not super magnetic like at some other Boleros. The service was good and the restrooms were clean. We didn't get any food here but we did play some arcade games. The basketball is fun to challenge with friends or family. We will return to play again. Air hockey is fun too.
Best experiences of all time went there in 2 years ago and 6 years ago I had fun at the bowling area
Great place ro have a good time. My two year and my 17 year Granddaughter had such a great time!
Fun place, great ambiance, also has a mini arcade. Would definitely go again. Very family friendly
Went to this place on a Tuesday, they offer cheaper games on Tuesday so it was definitely worth it, what cost us the most was the shoe rental. They have your typical bowling alley food and a bar with plenty of alcohol. The food we bought was really good nothing to complain about. They have an arcade but that's not really the reason you go to a bowling alley. Ended up playing 2 games of bowling with 4 people. The only thing that I didn't like was that we had to wait a while to get in and get our lane and
What a difference, great classic vinyl rock mixed with some current good music. Projector screens all above the pins showing Videos of music. Totally new atmosphere so glad we bought the season pass we will see you in a few days.
I like the lanes at this locations. The pins at this location is not tied to a string like many other locations.
I was there for my son team party at 6pm . My other son wanted to bowl so I ask to rent lane 11 or 12. She looked at us and said no there taken . I said there empty and no one is bowling there she said what don't you understand there taken. And then she said there Reserved for the bowling league. 2hours later lanes are still empty. I'm thinking she must be racists or something
The inside was very modern and had a nice look to it, the staff was friendly and the food was great. All in all had a great time the paint job on the outside looks a little jacked though, me and my family weren't expecting the inside to be as nice because of how the outside appeared, but I'll definitely return it was really fun !
We felt very unwelcome. I brought my family in, who don't get out much, hoping for a good time. Workers were rude and inattentive. We were ignored at the bar for a while. It started when we became upset because they mistakenly posted a 7pm discount special on their website that they could not honor. We didn't make a huge argument about it but they made it known that they did not want us around.
Had a good time but 7 lb balls were the lightest we could find and had tiny finger holes. More variety in bowling balls would help making it accessible. Noticed some little kids struggling to carry and place on racks. A little pricey per person for regular bowling. Loads of parties and ample parking is available
I did not like that the majority of people in there where not wearing Masks, the place was cool good Music and videos on the multiple screens. Our food was overcooked but again its a bowling alley, did not expect it to be a TGI fridays.
Staff closes early. Got here we'll before 1130. Staff didn't take me in because she closed her register well before 1130. Clearly, they don't care about the company. Just their salaries plus tips.
Great place to bring the family. The prices are a little higher but it's worth it because the service and the atmosphere is definitely upgraded. Will be back for sure
Customer service was horrible! The man that helped us wasn't even happy at all.! The guy couldn't even give me a smile for the life of him.! He literally looked miserable, this is our first and our last time here he was so serious?.. made me feel so unhappy !
We celebrated my daughter's 13th birthday on June 2nd and had a blast! The employees were very attentive. And the food was delicious.
Great bowling alley, clean, lots of arcade games, friendly staff
Super clean. This place is very popular and there are often a ton of people that are trying to bowl here. There are also tournaments and leagues going on that may take up some of the lanes. Overall a great place to bowl with a clean and open feel to it. The bathrooms were also clean. The food is also great like a typical bowling alley should be. I would definitely recommend checking if there are any events going on before coming here, and possibly reserving a lane just to guarantee you actually get to bowl.
We had a party of 6 and made a reservation a few days in advance. Mary was so nice while she checked us in and walked us over to our lane. While we were there our server Gilbert was the absolute best, he made sure we had everything we needed. Cass was great and helped us out with special requests (thank you so much!!). Peter also helped us out at our lane at the beginning of our reservation and made sure we had what we needed. All in all, lots of great people helped us in a short amount of time. Thank you g
Best team party ever!! We decided to take our girls softball team here to the end of season party. Google acouple of places for our budget. Spoke to Marc Perez an event planner. He was very helpful and informative. Give us a great deal that fitted our budget. Day of event I was introduced to Vanessa Preciado who was the event planner that evening. Help us get situated with girls and parents. Very informative and helpful. Jackie our serve was phenomenal. Very attentive with the girls and parents k
The service is amazing! Bowlero is a great place to have a great time with family and friends!
It is absolutely ridiculous that on numerous nights at numerous times the specials as advertised on the Bowlero West Covina website are not honored by the facility. I just showed up to make sure Night Strike started at 9pm as the West Covina website indicates but was then informed it starts at 10. There was no solution offered via the front desk. This has happened during the weekday as well, when times clearly advertised on the website are not honored. Bowlero is lucky it doesn't get sued for false adve
I hear this place like to overcharge and bully visitors if they speak up.
Great fun for you, n the young one's. Great Bday set up n deals.
Best place to bowel kids love it.
There were issues with the screen & lane that I had reserved for the night but Peter the manager on-site plus his team were helpful. They did their best to make sure we were well accommodated & taken care of. All in all, myself, & my guests were satisfied with the service we received. Thanks to them we'll be returning again in the near future.
Plenty of alleys. Well organized and very clean. Good place to bring the kids. Mine had a blast. Take advantage of the promotions.
league bowling takes ages? bumpers don't work for the kids? it's either always up or down? stuffing large parties beside smaller parties despite so many lanes available? don't waste your money here?
I'm a new bowler and what a great experience I've been having here the staff is extremely friendly and helpful Tia Joe Ronnie peter are always willing to help the Pro Shop is very knowledgeable and has a lot of different options as far as balls and equipment. The food is a little pricey but the games and the shoe rentals are reasonable if they only had more Lanes it can be hard to get a lane sometimes. The alley is always clean and well kept there's a guy named Matt who's always there who's even friendlier
This place was a great time. Came at a time that was a bit slower and quieter, just perfect (Monday around 2). Our server was a delight. Prompt, friendly and helpful. Kayla was her name I believe. I would definitely return to this location.
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience here. I will give it another try in the future. Hopefully they do better. Only positive here tonight was our waitress, so we gave her a tip.
It's not as crowded as the other bowling place, which I like about. But, it's lacking a lot of features that are not included in the bigger places.
Had my son's birthday party here. Very pleased how everything turned out. Had no issues, the service was amazing. They exceeded our expectations. Thank you.
It's a nice place to go spend time either with your friends or family it's a very nice past time and this place is really nice!!
Planned a work event here. Receptionists were really helpful and we all had a blast! Only complaint was our food order was never properly placed so we got it almost 45 min after ordering. They made up for it by giving us extra food on top of what we ordered. Thanks for a fun night!
Apparently being Happy, Genuine Is Intimidating to Staff. Specifically Se?or ?????? Frying Pan!! I literally purchased Un Space Dust$$$$. Then as I was trying to Purchase Un M?$. I was then Alerted by the Amazing BARTENDERS(????????????)! He looked at me with a look of, ("It's not Right, But I can't do ANYTHING.") WHOMEVER the Coward/Cowards/Miserable MINION is/was/will always be....... Therapy is AFFORDABLE.....??????
Great experience in reception area for Neighborhood Watch Meeting
Attended a teenagers birthday party. Staff was professional, and the food was good. They also had security walking around inside the bowling alley and the parking lot! It felt safe.
Fun place. They have arcade games and a good selection of food. We tried the pretzel bites, and the appetizer sampler. Plus a pepperoni pizza, and garlic fries, so yummy. The kids had fun bowling, rental was easy, they keep cleaning through the day. Our waitress that was serving our lane was very friendly and checked up on us for refills which I like, because we got plenty thirsty bowling. Great place for family fun.
It was good and had lots of fun with friends
They had a lot of fun with uncle Robby.
Very nice service staff. We had one of our pizzas come a little over cooked without us saying anything they ordered us another for free. Fun night out with your family.
Not reliable, the very rude people, don't own up to their own mistakes. Better to go Dimaond Bar or else where , Don't waist your time going there, On line and over the phone shows Lanes available and when you get there they have none .
This place is super kid friendly, kind of loud, but clean and their staff is really nice and helpful. The food is pretty decent too. Great for families or just a night out with your friends. Definitely would recommend this place. Friday night 6pm was pretty crowded but they have plenty of parking and lanes to bowl on. No heavy waiting when we went.
Staff was super helpful and polite. We had hour and of the year work party here. They gave us the lanes on the end, dimmed the lighting, had the video monitors on, and set up our catering order right behind our lanes. Everyone had a great time. It was a great team building experience. We'll definitely do it again.
Poor service and treatment to league bowlers. Recently experienced paying for a drink and the porter taking my drink before I finished. When team and I tried to stop him after putting another glass in my drink he tried to give it back. I advised that he should replace it he did not. I had to go to bar to get it replaced and then only got half of what was in the glass that he took. I went to manager about it she was not very pleasant with resolving the issue. On top of this bathrooms are always dirty, an
Amazing place! Watch the full video on Adventures with BENG! in YouTube!
Good vibes,music food
Update 5/7/23 The bowling atmosphere has improved quite a bit as far as having staff available buuuuut and it's a big BUT, most of them don't really seem to have a purpose or know what they are doing. I watched the phone ring at the front desk while the clerk helped a patron and 2 other workers stood behind the desk not doing much. Then while I was trying to get my lane her coworkers rudely talked to and distracted the clerk which made it take even longer for her to help me and answer any phone calls. As lo
The service was horrible. I ordered a cookie melt they burned the first one the waited for 45 minutes for the second cookie with ice cream wow how poor service.
A good place to have fun
This place is lively and fun. The league my husband bowled on was so much fun and all the people were having fun. So much better than other bowling alleys we have been to. Lots of fun games in the arcade.
This is a truly broken alley. Every time my ball comes back it is scarred. The equipment is so messed up. The only redeeming quality is the staff. The second girls are sweethearts.
Parking is very good here. Arcade kinda tight. They charge you a credit to check your balance on arcade cards, which is very odd. Good amount of lanes for bowling.
Had one the most wonderful experience here with my family. Kimberly was so amazing with her customer service, getting us all set up and ready to bowl. Her professionalism and cheerful attitude really made everything so easy for my and my family to get in, get set and immediately have fun. She went the extra mile making sure everything was taken care of, from finding a pink ball in the right size for my daughter, to setting us at a lane close to a bathroom for my pregnant wife. The place is kept very cleanly
had a really good time me and the family were there celebrating a nephew's birthday service was great food was really good but most of all an employee there named Jessica was really really awesome. Help out on every thing we need sha was always there asking us if we needed anything else and if we did she will go and get it right then and there Jessica keep it up hopefully you can be a manager one day.
Had fun with the family (big party), but we had issues with our lane. It turned off for about 25 minutes and staff attempted many times to get it to work again. At the end, we had to relocate. They did gives us a free coupon for a game for our next visit, which shows great customer service.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
