Bowling is too expensive but the billiards is absolutely perfect and the service is great. Great selection of wine, beer and spirits. Laid back atmosphere. They just want you to have fun with your family
Always a great place to go with family, friends, and soccer teams. Manager checked in on us. Set up was amazing, pizza and all you can drink for the team. Bowling and game room always fun. Clean and great atmosphere!
A bit overpriced for bowling, then the environment isn't clean for what you're paying. The restrooms were disgusting each time we went in, no one bothered to clean it once. The military discount is unclear and we were told many different things, but luckily it worked out in the end.
From organizing our special event ahead of time (thanks Aubry, customer service rep), to ensuring the day-of went smooth (big shoutout to Zac and the manager Lois at Bowlero Vacaville, and the back of house staff), everything was a great success. Most of all everyone in our party had a great time. We'll be back again.
We have had 3 Birthday Parties here. Great service, good food and good atmosphere!
I hosted my grandaughter?s 9th Birthday yesterday(4/22/24) and everything exceeded my expectations! Initially I thought it was a little high priced but at the end it was worth every penny!!!! The quality/quantity of the food, the service the attention to detail-they decorated with her name in lights. After bowling, the arcade time was perfect! Thank you Jay!!!! And Buddy-you were amazing and over the top attentive to us. On the way home, the kids said ?it was the best day of their life?. THANK YOU SO VERY M
Went here for my kids birthday party, it was great fun for the kids. Food was typical fried food but tasty. Service from the staff was exceptional. Had help when we needed it promptly.
We had such a great experience at Bowlero! We haven't been bowling in quite a while... in fact it was so long that when we went last time it was still Stars! The alley has such a nice fun look and feel to it, I would definatley recommend that families come check it out if they haven't been in a while. It would be a fun date night outing also! While we were there we wanted to try a little bit of everything so we bowled a game, went to the bar for a cocktail, played some arcade games and even enjoyed a round
Deeply Disappointed: Style Over Substance at Bowlero I rarely feel the need to write reviews, but my consistently frustrating experiences at Bowlero compel me to share my deep disappointment. We genuinely wanted this to be a great spot for our group, but the reality falls drastically short. Attempting to plan ahead is the first hurdle. Simply trying to call the day before our visit resulted in being dumped into voicemail repeatedly ? an early sign of the communication and service black hole we'd encounter
We were in the area to celebrate a birthday. The lanes and overall facility was really nice. The arcade is fairly big. Prizes are a bit lacking, but it is what it is. The bar is stocked and well priced. Food was decent. Pool tables were free to use and were first come first serve.
I hope to keep this 5Star.. Our Family wasvthe last to leave the bowling; we stopped to take a picture by the Blue bowling Bowl on the wall. At that point i set my shades Down, we took the picture, i proceeded to leave without my glasses. Um really counti ng on one of the workers to turn them in , seeing that there was only workers there when we left.i will turn this into a five star , when i get my shades Back. The guy that came to the door stated that he seen me with them on, mmm.. I call back tomorrow Her
Incredibly overpriced. Charged per lane PER PERSON. Meaning for 3 people that played 2 games. We got charged 6 games for $90. Recommend going to round1 arcade for normal bowling prices.
Came in for the Wed night unlimited and had a wonderful time. Amazing drinks and friendly staff, even the manager stopped by to see if we needed anything and wanted to make sure we were having a good time. You don't get that at many places anymore. We will be back next week!
2nd Birthday party @ Bowlero Vacaville! We had it in the banquet room behind the arcade. Perfect for every age group to go and play games while adults hung out . Full bar/full food service is located by the bowling alley if needed, but away from the room which is perfect. It was a blast! It started with emails with Camry who provided everything in a timely manner so we could make informative decisions. Next was meeting Lois Mcintire (operations manager). Omg this woman is phenomenal! She is so accommodat
Update: Still no email or call back from Corporate although the comment below states they care. Also video proves they gave families lanes right after denying us. Discrimination Went to bowl today with my disabled son. Looked up their website and got all the info. When we showed up to get a lane and play, we were told it was league day. I asked what days weren't league days so we could come back. The lady at the front desk told us everyday is league day, so I'd have to call to ask. Weirdly enough though we
if you're looking for an overpriced activity with horrible customer service, room temperature food, poor housekeeping, and empty cups because the "waitress" can't fathom refilling your $6 soda, this is the place for you! $108 for 4 people to bowl 2hrs. $70 for one appetizer and 5 sodas. absolutely insane prices and an even worse atmosphere.
We had SUCH a great time. We are now making this a monthly family outing. They had bumpers for the kids and a good choice of balls. The staff is friendly. The music is GREAT! And we went mid day and it was still semi glow bowl so fun. The price was just right. Compared to going out to a movie and popcorn this was kinder on the wallet. We ordered the parmasean garlic fries! Mmm it was buttery and cheesy. The kid pizza xame with fries and lemonade., delicious!! And we ordered a separate side of fries they we
Last time we went here, it was known as STARS. When we went to look for this same bowling spot for my wife's birthday, we were surprised to realize it was rebranded as Bowlero. This spot looks and feels so much nicer! No wonder it took us 2 hours to get our lanes. Well worth it!! Staff is friendly and cordial, and lanes are super clean. We'll be back here soon!
Jared the manger on duty during our visit went above and beyond for us, I have visited this location for years when it was called stars?I have never had this good of service. He made sure our party of 7-8 had balls and rollers for the younger kids. had beer and soda to our lanes within 5 minutes, and took our food order as soon as we were ready. If Jared is working when you visit you will be in good hands! Definitely will visit again! He did a great job with his team tonight!
Pricing was confusing. There was a screen display that read $7.99 per game. It switched to $11.99 per game. They don't tell you $11.99 per person per game. On top of the $5-6 shoe rental. So it was confusing in that regard. But overall we had hella fun!
This place is great! You can have a drink, play arcade games or bowl. If you're bowling, it is better to go during the week because they have a good 'special'.
I took my wife & 2 sons to bowl & when we got there one of my teens decided he didnt want to bowl anymore. After speaking with the manager, she went out of here way and gave us all our food for free as a refund for the ticket. We were very pleased with the manager & our waitress! Thx again guys!
What an amazing and fun place to bring your family ! Our family isn't a sports fan so son, mom and grandma all went for a bowling day out instead of the superbowl and we had a BLAST. The music was amazing. From check in to last frame it has been an ictedible expirence. Lois came up to my family personally and thanked us for joining them today. She was attentive as well as the rest of the staff. The bartender Lindsey and the server harol were OUTSTANDING. 10 TIMES OVER I RECOMMEND bringing your whole family
I went to bowlero on a Saturday night, the 11th. It was a bit crowded but things cleared out. I ordered 2 cookies and it took an hour and a half for them to finally come out. I asked after an hour, and was told they burnt my cookies. I am extremely disappointed at the wait time for something so simple.
Affordable, family oriented fun little place. Bowling is great, bar area is great, but the games at arcade section don't work. Most of them have been malfunctioning for quite a while. Get your stuff together Stars, you have a nice venue, take care of it.
If your a serious Bowler this ?? alley is not the place to go. If your entertaining kids or partying or dating it actually is a good place to come.
Clean, about 40 lanes, Arcade. Didn't try food. Had a good time with the kids.
Looks nice on the inside. Did not need to wait 20 minutes to order a $9 oreo shake that doesn't even taste good + get laughed at by the horizontally challenged lady behind the food counter.
came in with a huge party, and had a few hiccups with getting us altogether but Lois and Marsha made it happen, got us altogether and made our experience here wonderful.highly recommend.
Best bar in town. Rob and Reba are the greatest bartenders ever. Their service is impeccable!
This is the perfect spot to enjoy time with friends and family! Our homeschool group visits several times a year, and it's always a favorite. The staff is incredibly accommodating, especially when we need to switch the screens from dance videos to something more fitting for our group. The kids absolutely love the arcade. Everything is always clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!
I recently brought my special needs baseball team, Champion Pony, to Bowlero for a end of the season party, and I can't say enough about the incredible customer service we received. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our players and their families had a wonderful time. They were accommodating, friendly, and attentive to all of our needs. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and offered a fun, welcoming atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. The kids had a blast bowl
Love the upgrade, it's very clean and looks nice. The manager is a total gem! My reservation I made was the wrong day but she got me on a lane for my daughter?s birthday. They were busy but still handled everything kindly. 10/10 going back soon it was a blast
We had amazing experience at this location while celebrating my husband's retirement event yesterday. The customer service was outstanding! Everyone's positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile is absolutely commendable. Ralph, Buddy, Enrique & team provided excellent customer service and I highly recommend the Vacaville location for your future events. A special thank you to Enrique, he went far and beyond expectations to ensure that all guests were accommodated. The food and service was aw
Class reunion meet and greet...WOW 1st time at Stars but definitely not my last! So much going on if you want to participate or just sit, drink, eat and chat with friends!
Great experience! Kieth was a great host for me and my family! Extremely helpful and would definitely come again if he was our server.
WAAAAAAAAAAAY to expensive. $120 for three people to bowl three games... Absolutely insane prices and definitely not worth it. I will nlt be going back.
Exceptional! Our school recently had two back to back end of the year parties at Bowlero Vacaville. The wonderful service started at the time of booking the event. Melissa was extremely helpful, patient, kind and accommodating. She was efficient and prompt at drawing up options for our large group. Willing to customize for our needs. Once party day arrived the general manager Ralph greeted us with a smile and a true servants heart. He made sure the whole event went as smoothly as possible. The staff were a
Amazing! They revamped the place! It looks great, the food has improved and I love it. However, every claw game in the arcade is a scam. Almost every game in the arcade is a scam to the level that the only thing this place is good for is bowling and pool. 3 stars.
Okay was it perfect no but it was perfect for what we needed a day away from stress. A day to get loose and have fun. The staff was simply amazing, the food was good and most importantly the drinks were done too perfection for me.
Staff was super helpful. We came with a group of kids specifically for laser tag and unfortunately it broke down while setting up the game. They were super apologetic and gave us a generous amount of arcade cards by way of apology. Later they were able to get laser tag back up and the kids had a great time. Not crowded, clean, solid place.
Great experience . Marsha was very accommodating. Great referrals . Will definitely be back soon. Love coming here
My daughter turned 26 on 8/21/2018 and wanted to go bowling with the family all was there except my daughter and her kids who live in Texas. But we had just spent time with them the week b4 HAPPY Burf-Day Alexandria pic is of a employee oiling the lanes.
Just went to a lovely wedding at Stars and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the service was friendly. I did not expect it to be as nice as it was. My only complaint is that the kitchen staff was very loud and boisterous and had to be told to tone it down during the wedding ceremony. They did not have the best attitude.
My family and I had a wonderful time bowling. Great location, very clean, great customer service from Mrs. Louise. We were very satisfied
Nice updated bowling lanes with good food and a solid gaming and arcade area. Great for parties.
My Daughter celebrated her 12th birthday here yesterday with her group of friends. We couldn't have been happier with the food & service. They kept the food/drinks coming and were extremely tentative to anything we needed. We never felt rushed and the girls all had a wonderful time. This was our second time celebrating a birthday here and we will definitely make it our tradition! Thank your for awesome service ??
people here make me feel so good about life and the environment is very family oriented. i love this place!!
Great event place however it smells like sewage
RALPH IS AMAZING !!! His heart is genuine !!! Words really can't describe the amount of appreciation my family and I have for Ralph. My brother wanted to propose inside of laser tag arena, and Ralph made sure everything went seamlessly! He was extremely happy to help, and he came up with a great idea for the proposal! Ralph also made sure the staff was on board with the plans. Everything was perfect!!! Thank you Ralph + staff!!
Place looks 10 times better with the remodel and new ownership brought the family out and the kids had a ball. Mike at the bar made me a pineapple Margarita best drink I have had in a long time. Food took a little long to arrive for our lane but it was hot and fresh better than stars old menu in my Opinion. We will take the drive and come back soon thanks again Mike for the recommendation and the drinks great service man.
New look. Great staff. All smiles and helpfulness. I'm very grateful to have had an awesome experience here. Before leaving the establishment, I took a moment to thank the staff for my experience. Quality! Quality! Quality! I've decided to make it part of my life style change and it helped me immensely.
Bowling was fun but the bartender lady acted like we weren't there while trying to order a drink even though we got her attention. Had to order online and then ask the male bartender where our drinks were after 20 mins of ordering. The lady bartender was horrible
We had our end of the year class party at Bowlero, and it was fantastic. Thank you to the manager Ralph who ensured we were well taken care of. The kids had a great time, and the parents were able to relax/enjoy all the fun that was had. Thank you!
UNMATCHED!! We recently had back-to-back VCS class parties at this location and service was remarkable. ???????? to manager Ralph for going above and beyond throughout the process, allowing for a seamless experience from start to finish (much needed for parents & teachers hanging on by a thread at year-end)! He thought of everything from safety of the students to comfort of the adults! The staff was extremely gracious while we needed their assistance every 2 min for a stuck ball or requests for more ranch.
The bowling itself is nice, but not the bartender. My family and I went today 8/23/2024 and whoever was working the bartender at night was a big no. It was a woman. I stood there for more than 5 minutes and yet she decided to attend someone who got there after me, mind you she had already looked at me waiting there. She was super friendly to the guy and When speaking to him she said "did you need anything" but when it came down to me she just pointed and nodded her head expecting me to tell her what I wante
Had a great time at the bar and playing billiards w/ my friends. shout out to Mike for being such a cool bartender and making his special Christmas drink for us. It was so yummy and reminded me of Christmas. Definitely a sweet drink, cinnamon flavored, and doesn't taste too bitter! go see if he's there to try this holiday drink!
Closest place to a outside bar setting i have found and food was delicious. They have a large outside dinning and 3 tvs with spot games .highly recommend it
Best place to bowl! So much fun on weekends, and any other day. Lots of fun people come by, it's a party !!!
It's a very nice facility but $15 for one game with shoes? Ouch!!!
Bartender Mike for the win! Place was super crowded Saturday night and they seem severely understaffed. They should've had at least 4 bartenders to alleviate the crowd at the bar and increase serve time, however Mike got to everyone as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. True MVP. The rest of the place was cool too, great lanes, good food, but again, understaffed so long wait times for everything. Thanks for the watermelon bowl Mike.
Amazing customer service!! Buddy the manager was amazing and every worker we encountered was very helpful and friendly. The location all around was super clean, the pizza was amazing and our drink pitchers stayed full! The seating and tables for food was a plus! I saw so many families having gatherings or birthday parties and every group had lots of food it all looked amazing we cant wait to come back and try the other options! The atmosphere is very family friendly and we appreciate that.
Went there to bowl with friends on 2/8/25. Mind you we only played 2 games MAX and they charged me for 8 games when we only played 2 games. Beware people
They'd have better luck with a beer vending machine than the time it takes waiting for a drink at the bar. Bartender always solo, never a bar back or any help in sight.
The place was fairly good an overall, it would've been a 5 stars. However, when we went to the arcade after bowling, we were met by a very rude Cashier at the redemption area of the arcade. When we were gonna buy something, instead of taking our cards nicely, he would snatch them and slam them on the desk. He would also be mean to my little cousin and sister and he would basically throw our prizes at us. We were also expecting to get our cards back which we should've but he didn't give them back and we then
I went in on a Friday night with my family. I was assisted by one of your greatest employees name Sarah. She was very professional and quick to assist I believe she had stated she just started working their hard working, people skills passionate great employee ,fast, and kind??
Awesome job to the Bowlero staff. Hosted our daughter?s bday party here and couldn't be more pleased. Manager Buddy and helper Kat were on it. Very accommodating, fast service, great food. Kids and fam had a blast and were well entertained.
Had my stepson's 4th birthday birthday party here, and it was very nice. Outside of bowling, they have a full arcade, a full bar, and pool tables. The manager was pleasant, and our waitress was attentive. I feel like my stepson was too young to have his party here, but I would definitely come back with adults.
Good atmosphere. Had a fun time bowling there. Staff was friendly. My only complaint was bar service was exceptionally slow given how few customers there were. Also, despite how many lanes were open, my mom and I were given the one lane with a broken computer.
My daughter enjoyed her bowling and we will be returning.
I visited Bowlero recently and had the best time! Bowling was fun! The food was great! Staff was so friendly and the place is clean & well maintained! I stopped by the bar, played some pool, and the bartender Quincy made me the best margarita! Will definitely be going back!
Ordered food at the beginning of our 2hr bowling session, and it didn't come out until we had 20 minutes left. The complete lack of any child changing station in the bathrooms is extremely frustrating as a parent and puzzling for a place that's supposed to be family friendly.
Visited 8/22 12:30 pm. Nice facility despite being a Bowlero. Lanes were extremely dry, pins were damaged(part of the pins were broken at the top). As I was bowling I saw a sign that said "Buy two games, get one free", so decided to stop at 3 as I would get that last game for free. The lady working the front desk said, "Yes, we have that deal but since you didn't say you wanted that in the beginning she couldn't give it to me(Payment taken at end of games, FYI) She said, "sorry that I didn't tell you about
Had a great time at the bar with a friend of mine. As well as playing billiards. Big thank you to Mr. Mike the bartender. Great customer service and a great guy overall. Made sure to check on us all throughout the night and made sure the experience was a good one. PSA: the Christmas drink? AMAZING. so good. literally tastes like Christmas with a good buzz. 10/10 employee. 10/10 experience. If you see this, thank you Mike!
Terrible experience not enough staff everyone is over worked I waited 2 hours for a salad and 2 more hours for a cookie very disappointed and I drive an hour away to get treated terrible with unfair treatment and racism
Fun night out for my son's Birthday!
Love this place the food is amazing and everything
Nothing special for the ridiculous prices, and booking a lane is made much more difficult than it should be, especially if using a gift card. Not bad...my family enjoyed our evening of bowling...but don't go expecting anything unique/different than you can get at any other bowling alley nowadays. Would definitely bowl somewhere cheaper if available/not missing anything special at Bowlero.
Family friendly, music and arcades... only thing I didn't like was they didn't take cash for food purchase. I understand why not didn't like that part. Other then that great place to chill.
Just visiting for a birthday party, nothing seems out of the ordinary, the place is packed and people are having fun.
This place is a real waste of money , only about 10 of 60 games were working , wish I would have looked around before buying cards for the kids .
The rotund boy working in the pro shop ignored me for over 20 minutes when I wanted to buy a ball, he was busy the whole time chatting with someone else, at least he could have acknowledged me as a paying customer. He must be the owner of the place, I can't imagine an employee is allowed to treat customers like that.
This has been my second time coming here since the name change from Stars to Bowlero. Though the upgraded appearance is nice the costumer service is lacking. The first time we came we had to go through metal detectors which does not make it feel family friendly. They were also backed up at the bar and getting a drink took an hour and me having to ask and remind. I had ordered a mad mai tai and I remember thinking it was super expensive now I see I was charged for a shareable drink and given a single drink.
Had a great time with friends and family
I waited 25 minutes to buy a ball, the young guy in the shop likes to hear himself talk so much that we weren't acknowledged as a customer. What a drag, no wonder they have a 5 day wait for drilling. I wanted the top ball, $229.00 but he wouldn't stop with his supposed knowledge of the game to someone who wasn't buying anything. He likes to hear himself rather than make a sale. I'd like to bowl against him. I'm buying a ball in Clayton, seems I have no choice,
So my company had an event there today from 4-6. I'm pretty sure it cost thousands to rent the place out for us. Everything was going good until I had to ask for assistance. 1st, the employees acted like I wasn't even there when I approached the counter. 2nd, when I told them what needed help with, they said a mechanic would be on the way. 3rd, no mechanic shows up for 10 minutes, I go back to the counter and inquire. I let Jay know nobody has showed up. He walks to the lane with me and asks what's the prob
The areas were very clean and well kept. The staff knew exactly when planned were oiled and answered other questions when asked. The only reason it's 4 stars is when buying drinks it's confusing on going to either the bar or their food "cart". The bartender I had didn't know exactly what to do when a nonalcoholic drink was ordered. The drinks tasted good though, go for the watermelon over the strawberry.
Greedy corporation shady management all they care about is money they could care less about core values or taking care of the customer. They would rather push their wack "Signature" cocktails then to give the customer what they want! If it doesn't have the "Bowlero" stamp on it don't even ask about making a special cocktail or something different. I got hounded for amping up the drink menu as an ex employee I made Craft Bloody Mary's and many different flavored margaritas but had to stop making those becaus
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
