My grandsons Birthday party was a success! Food table was set up nicely & ( Josh) the manager was magnificent. He & one other employee catered our every need, including batteries that we needed. The food , shoe rental, kid's arcade game card's, gift certificate's & ice cream. Made sure our drinks was replished without asking. Not to mention there was 2 party's going on. Everything went smoothly! BEST PRICE around for everything that was included.THANKS AMF & to Josh!!????

A very cool, clean, classic bowling alley! Not one of those sterile Main Event kind of places. There is an onsite pro shop where you can get bowling balls drilled and customized, snack bar, and easy to read scoring without the stupid cartoon graphics. Very nice and friendly staff. This is not the place to take your family on a friday night. We went in ordered close to 200.00 in drinks for 9 of us got our shoes and the manager come over after we had checked in at the bar and not with him and very rudely let us know that it was 9.99 per person per game and also 5.99 shoe rental like we were coming in broke or somthing. Food was okay. But, what really shocked me was the lack of care. The lady at the register was rude. And I'm sure over charged us. There is no way for 7 people was over $200.

I enjoyed the staff as one of them had some knowledge of signing ASL, which helped us deaf peeps out. I enjoyed bowling as everything was smooth and easy to use! It was clean for the most part and bowling was fun!

If you are near Texas City, this is the place to bowl. Victoria, the manager, is awesome and will make sure you and your party are taken care of. Great place to bowl and eat. If your looking for a night out, this is a great place to spend it.

Josh is awesome! Always helping and goes above and beyond to accommodate you! Harmony and Bishop are also great! They all take their jobs seriously and always do whatever they can to make your time there a great experience!

Covid-19 has taken a toll on everyone, and finally things are opening back up. I went to AMF Star Lanes after I heard they are open with adjusted hours, and man I was happy I did! Although they are forced to require face masks during your experience, they give some relief when you order food at your table, you can remove your mask while eating. Staff was nice enough Lots of lanes.. But no air conditioning. Almost $100 for 2 adults and 1 child to play 2 games. Food was okay until we saw a massive cockroach crawl under our table. Hate to make bad reviews like this... usually I'm very nice but I was not impressed at all.

Too expensive. Bowling alley was fine, reminded me of pretty much every other bowling alley I've gone too, but they charge per person per game. We had a total of 3 people who got shoe rentals, and we played 3 games. It took us a little less than an hour and was over $80! Would advise people to go elsewhere and will not be coming back

Food was ok. Def could tell it was from frozen. The staff is really nice and the arcade was newly updated and fun!

The prices were great and everything was nice and clean. I had a great time with friends there. We were able to get two lanes side by side to accommodate for the amount of people. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to two things. The prices of alcohol there were extremely high, so be warned about that. The bartender also acted like she was mad at everyone who ordered from her. I havent seen such an unfriendly bartender anywhere in a very long time.

The facility is nice but it's pricey. Had to wait almost 10 minutes before 1 of the 4 employees behind the front counter would check us in. Apparently, only 1 employee is allowed to run the registers for both concessions and the bowling lanes. That employee was also quite rude. Not impressed.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We were a group of 4 younger mothers just taking our kids out for some fun allowing us to have fun as well and we felt so unwelcomed from the moment we arrived at check in. I'm thankful our children didn't catch on to the way we were treated. It was very poor and completely unnecessary, especially coming from the manager on duty.

Needs an upadte. Had an old-school vibe but not in a good way. Computer buttons barely worked, and TV monitors displayed in poor quality. It's quite expensive to bowl these days. 2 games for 8 people not at peak time was $200. And that didn't include food. Food prices were decent but alcohol was overpriced. $6.25 a beer and $14 for liquor. Still had a good time. Staff was very friendly.

Bowling alley is always really clean. Staff is great especially the Manager Josh. He goes above and beyond from customer service to making sure the kids have everything they need when bowling. You can tell he enjoys what he does and takes pride in it.

If I could give zero stars I would. Staff was completely rude to us, 45 minutes to get a drink or cookies spent $245.00 there for subpar service and they to gratuity at 18%. This is no way to treat customers. The place was filty empty containers everywhere.

Still as cozy as I remember as a kid. Good monopoly on the surrounding area, but not too crowded. Food is actually better than where we went out to eat nearby. Staff was 10 stars helpful even when we were difficult. Turn the A/C up a little bit please and spread people out if there's space to.

This place has been renovated and it's really impressive. The lanes are excellent, the arcade is fun, the food is even pretty good (for a bowling alley). If you haven't been in a while, you should check it out!

Prices are decent and we always have a great time when we go. Mixed crowd but a lot of league members as well. Lanes don't work properly all the time and we've had to get help with starting the game, resetting the pins, score, among other things.

The place is out dated and charges as if it up to date. I played 6 games and was charged 9 games to addition full sets was not played. I also noticed on my ticket other discrepancies but doesn't matter already charged but will not return as seeing it is not a place for a well enjoyed experience. This was my first time and last time I will visit. I hope this helps and doesn't happen to other families looking for a good time to have fun.

How was it? HOT!!! Haha, they are renovation and it looks great. Staff is friendly and the tech is working flawlessly. Ac is still temporary but all good!

Went for a late night bowl. Arrived at 10p and they close at 11p. The service was great and lanes were available without waiting. We were offered the drink promotions and the staff was so inviting! It was nice and clean .. the drinks were fairly priced and good music was playing!! They didn't rush us to leave and gave us quality service the entire time! I definitely recommend!!

A little expensive. For bowling, you're charged per per game, AND per person. Just 3 of us with 2 games was $56. We had fun, the employee took care of us, and it had a good atmosphere. Just a little pricier than we were planning on being that day.

Last night my family and I went out to have a good time. The people at the bar were excellent but the guy working check in for bowling? not so much. We checked in at the bar (which is something we were told we could do) and because we didn't check in with him he had the worlds worst attitude. Lively and friendly staff. Pizza was really good! They actually assemble it; it isn't just frozen and thrown into the oven. Food pricing was fair/average, I feel. My one complaint is they don't have a changing table!!! PLEASE GET ONE FOR EACH RESTROOM. And then I will give you 5 stars.

$27.13 for some low quality food. The manager asked if everything was OK. I told him I wasn't happy with the food for the price. He offered me more food. He was very polite. On my way out he discounted the shoe rental to make up for it. I took that. The lanes are nice and staff was friendly. I will just avoid the menu.

Out for your money. We went last night at 8 and the unlimited bowling started at 9. The guy did tell us to come back at 9 so he could change the settings or whatever to the unlimited. Obviously we were all having fun and forgot too. The Texas City, Tx location does not have a working AC (air conditioner) most of the time. Today, the AC was working very poorly and we just couldn't bear it!!! This is so upsetting due to this location has some great people working there! But I don't know how the employees bear the heat in there every day.

My first time at AMF Star Lanes Friday night June 3rd. My daughter joined a bowling league with 3 of our friends. I couldn't join due to prior commitments. What a great time! Everyone was so friendly! Sissy who was working the snack bar/bar was awesome!

First of all me and my friend's were not greeted when we came. They looked at us and kept doing what they were doing for about 10 minutes or so. No one else at the counter. After that went to buy a drink and received the same treatment. So we bowled one game and left. Worst service I ever experienced.

This was a pretty cool place. We went on a weekend and there was a crowd but it was manageable, the place has almost 30 lanes I think it was and a nice size arcade for the kids. There was 1 pool table that I didn't see anyone playing but it was there if your looking for that. The front desk girls were nice and friendly we didn't see anyone complaining. They had the covid thing going on with the social distance and mask stuff so they doing thier part to help everyone however they can. I would go here again t

Great people and great fun. We tend to go bowling in Webster on Sundays but decided to stay closer to home this evening. Wow.... If I would have known that the prices were cheaper here, I would have been coming here all along. The food menu is a bit limited so don't come hungry. They have a full bar though. Enjoy.

Lots of fun. So much has changed since the last time that we went. There is a nice arcade and a bar set up on both sides of the bowling alley. The only complaint I have is the restrooms were dirty.

I live in League City, but this is my bowling alley. Affordable games especially if you join a league, the staff has always been nice to us, they take pretty good care of their lanes and keep them oiled, equipment operates decent enough though it has some age on it. Thursday and Friday evenings can be pretty busy due to the abundance of league players but we really enjoy it here.

The manager DJ was great. Made us feel very welcome and catered to. My best friends birthday went great because of it. We came for her 17th, this year for her 18th, and we'll come again for her 19th!!

The staff at Star lanes is great. Very friendly, and attentive. I've been bowling here since the 90's. Allen and Daphne are the best management this center has ever had. For those that complain about the lanes: 1. Allen doesn't dictate what shot they run, 2. Why would anyone want to bowl on an easy walled up shot 3. OK bowling place. A bit pricy here. AC was not working too well when I was bowling here so there were a lot of fans working. But it was still hot with the fans on. I would come back if the whole AC situation is fixed.

Myself and my daughters boyfriend went to kill some time. He is a pretty good bowler in his own right and I used to work at a bowling alley for several years when I was younger. In other words, we kind of know what lanes should be like. The lanes were very oily, no bite on the back end at all. He tried all three of his Storm brand balls and didn't have any luck. The snack bar was really good though.

This place is amazing. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The snack bar has great food. I mean it will suprise you how good it is. Bar is clean and open. Lanes are in great shape. I love this place. Such a good place to make memories.

We just had our 3rd company get together at this facility. The staff was great, place was clean and the food was good! All 17 of us had a great time!

This is definitely one of the best places to go for family night. My husband, two sons, and myself get very competitive when we go bowling for family night, but the best feeling is leaving the place with no hard feelings. I think this would be a good one for date night as well...have not done it yet, but will let you know what happens when we do.

I decided to buy the bowling passes for the summer. I have 3 grandchildren that like I bowl. I buy 3 child and 1 adult. It cost like 120.00 for all of us. We went the first two weeks of summer. Since the second week the AC has not work correctly. I will never again buy the passes. My grandkids no longer want to go because they say it is too hot.

The staff at this location are all absolutely amazing! My husband and I bowl here every week and everyone goes above and beyond to take care of us.

My adult daughters birthday was held at AMF Star Lanes. It was perfect for the whole family, adults and kids. Ordered our food and drinks there also. Much fun was had by all, Bowling, Game room. Thank you AMF Star Lanes for making it enjoyable for the crowd.

Excellent place to go. Very clean and well kept. Modern and updated equipment. Food is delicious and the bar is fantastic. Staff is very friendly and service is excellent.

Liked the style of the building likes the service but the prices for refreshments was a little high in my opinion. The lanes were good though.

My grandkids really enjoyed bowling, but there is not enough help in the kitchen. Poor guy he couldn't even start cooking because he was so busy handling the register. So needless to say we had to cancel our food order and go somewhere else to eat. Might need to think about getting him help.

We reserved 2 lanes on a Saturday night from 10 til 12 for 12 people to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and Victoria, the manager, and her staff made sure we were well taken care of from the time we got there til the time we left. I highly recommend the AMF Lanes in Texas City if you are looking for a fun time!

DJ is a rock star and His customer service skills are on point. When the Webster location was full and unhelpful I was forced to drive to Texas City because I made a promise to my 4 year old. My irritation quickly turned when DJ greeted my son. He was playful and energetic with him and really got him excited from the the moment we came in. DJ takes what could be a very repetitive job and turns it into amazing customer service. Service you don't see very often. I would call it Chick Fil A level service. W

Nice place to bowl, bar tender is good on making drinks and have cold beer on tap. Food is also good, but still need up grades on the inside of building.

Pricing and quality is acceptable, wish it was open a little more variety of hours, and sometimes it's so full you cant get in, but i guess that's good on their part.

Great place to have a family outing and relax a bit. Great people here that create an atmosphere of fun and excitement. I've enjoyed League bowling at this location for several years now, as have my children on the youth League.
