Brandon is the manager that keeps me loyal to this place. His team that includes Ryan and 2 Mathews (shoutout Fred) that both seriously make this place worth going to. Practicing at the same place I bowl 3 leagues in is amazing for an aspiring bowler like myself. The sheer number of lanes in the building combined with competent staff choosing placement of paying customers seems to allow for a mix of recreational weekend bowlers to mix in with ?trying to improve? league bowlers. Shoutout Brandon! I never ha
The bathroom was covered in pee and pieces of toilet paper so definitely had to hold it while we were there. The rest of the place was well kept though so I was surprised at the bathrooms condition. The deals they have are very reasonable especially if you wanna go with just one other person and bowl for awhile. We went on one of the 90? and higher days and there was absolutely ZERO COLD AIR IN THIS BUILDING everyone in there was drenched in sweat and the only air that was going was the air from the ball r
Have bowled here off and on for over 10 years and have always had a good experience. It's a little pricey compared to other places but at the same time, I normally go on the weekends and most other places are booked up because of the leagues. Also, for as many people that are in and out, the staff does a pretty good job keep the place tidy and the food is pretty good as well. Definitely a good place to come and bowl and if up a little later (9pm), you get unlimited bowling for $25 a person which, to me, it'
My local spot 2 floors 64 lanes, a bar and some arcade games. Great place to bowl!
Bowling itself was fun, but that has little to do with the location. After issues with ordering through the website, it took us an hour to get food, though there did not appear to be a staffing issue. And aside from checking in, staff was incredibly rude to us, especially when inquiring about when we would receive our (way overpriced) food. This culminated in a staff member slamming a plate onto the table, seemingly wanting to be done with us. Frankly, I felt very done with the staff and will not be returni
Ok bowling alley. There is bowling on 2 different floors. With a total of 64 lanes. This bowling center is usually kept clean. Set backs are cost and wait times. The price to rent shoes is more than $6. Price per game to bowl more than $7. For a weird reason a mug of beer is $7.03? As for wait times. It takes a while to get food and drinks.
Great local place, however, it's short staffed, long lines for all aspects of the business: entry, eatery and the bar. Extremely long wait times also for bowling
Food is kind of costly and came out mostly burnt. The concession stand lady was rude as hell to me and my other half. Clearly stated "it's your problem". I put my card on a tab for the bowling and then paid for my food but got charged extra, assuming someone needed an extra tip for their pocket. I had asked for a lane away from as many people as possible due to my child's sensitivity, but was put in the middle of two large parties. I understand it's Friday and it was busy but clearly the end lanes were not o
First time at Bowlero since the change from Empire Lanes. Mostly the same experience from before. Very nice remodel, all brand new games in the arcades, all new laminate flooring. The proshop was closed for Good Friday, but has great hours. The only downside is games are $8+ per game.
We had our anniversary party here with family and it was a blast! We all had so much fun. AMF did everything, we basically just had to show up. I was surprised that they had some table decorations (bottles with faerie lights in them and a chalkboard sign personalized for our party) in our lanes area. The food was delicious, especially the chicken tenders. Our attendant for our party, Lucy, was so nice and helped us with everything we needed. It was a great party experience and we would definitely book anoth
The bowling was fun buy the staff was really rude. We waited an hour food and had to inquire multiple times to even get it. Then once we finally got it they slammed the plate in front of us. Honestly I'm going to going else where from now on.
Bowling was good, facility is well taken care of. Didn't eat or drink, so no guidance there.
I went to Bowlero this past Thursday with my family and I was very pleased and they got it right we were taken care of and we had a good time with their courtesy and respect thank y'all very much ????
I'll never bowl here again. Several times now, we've gone for open bowling and despite having dozens of lanes open, they bunch everybody next to each other. We get put next to a family with little kids running onto our lane while we're in the middle of bowling. They're going feet first down the lane like it's a slip n? slide. So I ask if we could move over a couple lanes and the staff kindly oblige. Only to put a group of like 6 teenagers on the same set as us acting like jackasses. Then another group rolls
Family-oriented, a great place to visit. The staff was very attentive.
Fun and friendly staff. Good food and drink.
Best place ever to hold an event! Can't wait toy do it again next year!!!!!
An oldie but a goody... a fun place to spend time with the family
If you want to come here to bowl and have drinks with your friends this probably isn't the place. We waited at the bar multiple times for 20min+. The single bartender would purposely keep going to the same group. Both poor management and horrible service.
Decent place to bowl out to drop off the kids to bowl. Staff is helpful and lenders are smooth. Bowl.
Not only is Bolero a run-down alley, but it is far too expensive for a casual bowler. The mechanics, and seat availability leaves little to be fond of.
I recently visited this bowling alley with my family, and I must say, it was a disappointment from start to finish. Despite shelling out $200 for a two-hour session and arcade gift card, our experience was far from enjoyable. Firstly, the alley was so crowded that we could barely move, let alone enjoy our game. When we politely asked to move to a less congested lane, our request was flat out denied because apparently, it was already booked. It's understandable that business is booming, but the lack of flex
go on groupon and save money for bowling at amf. we went for my 30th and I surprisingly did good. it was packed on friday night. I still had a great time even though it was really loud. I can't wait to go back on a Wednesday date night with my husband.
Great bowling night out!
I'm giving this place 5 stars because I love the staff, who are always super friendly and accommodating. We had fun bowling a couple games on Friday night. They have safety procedures in place and I felt totally safe and able to have fun. Cannot thank Friday night's staff enough for an actual night out doing an activity while feeling cared for and safe!
Very typical bowling alley experience. Pricing is a bit higher than others in the area but the drinks are good and you can almost always get a lane or two.
Nice place to bowl. The lower level has low ceilings. Nice selection at the bar and the kitchen has good food. Great place for kids and Birthdays.
Bowlers beware! We will never go back here. We were quoted what ended up being a very incorrect price when we checked in to bowl. When it came time to pay, we discovered the price on the receipt vastly differed from what Danielle quoted us (twice) when we arrived. We let Danielle know of the error and she flippantly said the pricing is on the tv screens above them and half-apologized. We wondered why it was pretty quiet on a Friday night, I'm betting their high prices (and lack of good customer service) cou
Really cool bowling alley, two level, bar close great staff
My 3 young children and myself have frequented this location in the past several years. Our past few visits have been the best yet! The bowling alley is clean and well kept, and well managed. During our visits, there's always complementary ice water and cups for your party to help yourself too, which was an awesome time saver. Despite large crowds - staff was on the ball, and doing their best to please everyone. Eric, specifically was awesome!! When bowling with young kids it can be difficult - he never m
Held an Elementary School fundraiser here. It was very successful and everyone had a great time. Staff was on point in keeping everyone satisfied with pizza and non alcoholic beverages. There was plenty of room made available for us to showcase baskets that were bidded on. Tables were made available for raffling items, etc . They accommodated us with everything we needed and the space required to make this a successful event. The children were very excited at how well they scored bowling (thanks to the bum
We've had 3 family parties there now, and every time we've been there, the staff (especially the general manager) have gone above and beyond, making our parties extra special. My family has made unforgettable memories there, I encourage everyone to do the same!
Thank you to Anthony in the pro shop for his expertise in helping my friend and I ! His knowledge and expertise helped us pick the right equipment and accessories to get our season started. He was knowledgeable, kind, and patient and helping us be outfitted. if you were looking for new bowling ball or accessories do not hesitate to see Anthony ! He is the best of the best thank you again Anthony for all your help!!
I have bowled there for several years and find them very adequate. However, they have the WORST ladies room in Monroe County!! It's small, cramped with no water pressure. It needs to be completely renovated!
I had my son's 4th birthday party and Lucy was our party host and she was so amazing. I plan on holding another birthday party again. Alsoy friend is doing her kids party there this weekend!
Lanes are good, atmosphere at the competition was friendly. Food, though, was...SMH. There was really nothing one could order that wasn't an entire day's caloric intake. And the variety want anything special. Outside of that, I'm considering joining one of their leagues.
Fun local place to go. I was on the darkside, which are the lanes that have low lighting and cool fluorescent lighting. My call kept getting stuck over and over. The lane guy actually hooked me up after all the times he had to go get the ball unstuck. He came over and gave me and my girlfriend two free passes. I was very thankful ??. He went through all that running and then hooked us up. Thank you
My experience at AMF Empire Lanes tonight was great. When we ordered our pizza it actually got out to us within 2 minutes, although our drinks took a bit longer due to the server still being a bit new and it being super super busy. But still had tons of fun with my 2 friends. They even put the bumpers up for us so we could see how much it improved our game, even though we are grown men. My score went from 94 without bumpers to 144 with 4 strikes in the final 5 throws of the game with bumpers. Overall an ama
Good for families time
Nice clean bowling alley but I was too HOT. Where was the AC? Paid over $100 for 4 people to play 2 games and it shut down halfway through our second match. They did honor it with 3 extra games but it was already late so we left after the 2nd game. Why is it $11+6 per person? I assumed it would be $11 per game and $6 each person. Pricing on TV should be more clear please. I was shocked!
The layout is different from any bowling alleys I've ever been. There is no seating at the back of the alley. There are tables way back, which makes it hard to socialize. The food is normal horrible bowling alley food and expensive. It was extremely hot inside. Like they had the heat on 90. We bowled and had fun. Around $300 for 6 with food and no drinking....it was decent
Great food, stellar vibe, friendly and helpful staff.
Fun. Clean. Friendly service. Typical bowling alley food.
Place where you can enjoy in the company of your family and friends. Wonderful place.
My boys have been bowling in their 2 game youth leagues for about 6 months now. They've had a lot of fun! Food is good when we order (a little pricey but what bowling alley food isn't). The staff is always very nice ...especially Eric. He is extremely helpful and can problem solve any situation we have! Makes going weekly very easy. My husband and I are thinking of joining a league as well!
Had fun great place for everyone to enjoy
The facilities looked great, the bowling balls were nice, and the shoes seemed newish, but the staff seemed completely checked out, we got our lane and there was trash all over the table from the last party that was there, we were there 2 hours and no one came to clean anything up. The place wasn't busy for a Friday night and there was maybe 4 people sitting at the bar, we waited over 10 minutes before saying screw it and just bowl without any drinks. Although there was two employees behind the bar. They se
Danielle was the most considerate and accommodating employee. She helped us reserve our lanes in a timely manner on a busy night. She works so hard and she is the GOAT. We will be coming back only to see her beautiful face again.
Really cool environment! The lanes are BEAUTIFUL, the arcade games are fun, the bar is accessible. Our only complaints are that they either seem to be understaffed, or the infrastructure to acquire a lane seems to be broken. We were there on a league night, and we couldn't get a lane. The guy initially said a half hour, then we came back half an hour later, and another woman said another half hour, meanwhile there were a dozen *seemingly* open lanes to our left and right. We went downstairs and there was on
Great place food is decent. Games are good. Just the price for bowling is pretty high check for a Groupon 24 hours before you go. It will be like 70% off of the bowling.
We recently booked a team-building event right after the new year. It was a little bit of a hike from where people were staying near the office, but it was absolutely worth it. We had 4 lanes, drinks for everyone, and all around it was an amazing time. The only complaint I personally have (which is so small) is that when the occasional pin would fall during the reset for a new frame, there was no easy way to have the lane knock the pins down and rerack them. Happened to me twice during one game, and it
Its a fun night out with the kids. But be prepared to spend a lot of money. The food is okay but we had to wait a while and the kids started to get grumpy waiting. Will be going back because overall the kids had a fun time bowling. They also have the ball ramps for free for little ones!
Lanes are not level. The one we played on, everything drifted to the left.
didnt have a good experience here. when i went with a group of my girlfriends danielle helped us. She told us she was manager there. she was very unprofessional and rude. I dont recommend going here unless you wanna encounter an awful experience with her
We were there for a college bowling tournament. I was really impressed with the first floor. I couldn't believe how many lanes they had between the two floors. Being there for 10 to 12 hours in a weekend, we ordered some food. Chicken tenders and some apps to be specific. Everything was pretty good. For bowling alley food, it was really good. Yummy fried things galore.
A good place to bring your children on a weekend day or night. A good clean atmosphere to enjoy. Bowling, arcade area, and some good munchies and good burgers etc. Great staff members to greet you and your family and friends.
Rude staff. Every staff member had an attitude. Won't be coming back
It's a good time, but be AWARE that after a certain point on the weekend you're paying $10+ PER PERSON to BOWL 1 game. Even when you buy drinks and food. That's not okay. NOWHERE ARE THOSE PRICES ADVERTISED. Clocked in at 7 and left at almost 11. Won't get my business again.
Bowling was fun but I don't know how much renovations they did because some of the bowling machine letters didn't work. But overall it smelled nice bathroom didn't smell like mildew and we had fun. Food and drinks were good.
We called prior to showing up to bowl, we spoke with a lady on the phone who told us there would be open bowl all night. We explained to her we would be having a small gathering for my daughters 5th bithday. She told us we would be all set to show up and bowl. After driving 45 minutes as it was the only place open. We were turned away and told there was no open bowl. This was a horrible experience and really wish that ALL staff were informed of the days event.
They were ?out of pizza? but the manager said that we couldn't order a pizza from an outside pizzeria for our family party. I understand not allowing outside food in when the alley can provide that same food, but when they cant provide that food, they shouldn't prevent us from bringing it in ourselves - Especially if it gets us to stay longer and spend more money at your establishment. We would?ve paid for another game or two, had we been able to have a pizza delivered, but we left and ate pizza at home aft
Very disappointed. The girl at the counter was rude. The food was burnt. And our lane kept messing up. The sweep wagon would stay down and not return to the original position. After numerous times telling the girl at the front desk, we lost about a half hour of time. It's not worth the money. I won't be going back.
Clean well appointed and kind staff! Busy days! Happy to see the place packed.
Clean facility, very friendly staff, but extremely expensive. I will go on a day there's a special, they started charging per person per game and 3 games for 2 people ran $56. The food we ordered was $40. Still had a lot of fun!! Sidenote: we were at a lane directly next to some REALLY obnoxious kids. A whole group. They even broke the bumpers on the lane and were taking balls from other people's lane without asking the players. Their parents were at the bar and playing video games... people at front des
Sure, bowling is fun but it's just not what it used to be. Very expensive to take the family. Come full and with bowling shoes if not be prepared to spend over $150 for a family of 4. Service can improve at this location. It's very hard to place a order and the staffs attitude needs a tune up. Everyone seems miserable to be at work and very short with assistance. I will not be returning here. Hopefully I can find a small mom and pops lane to go to. This ain?t it y?all. Sad.
My 2 friends and I came here tonight an hour before close to bowl 1 game and hang out. A younger girl at the upstairs desk told us she couldn't help us get set up, and told us to go to the desk downstairs. We went down and the lady was very nice, helped get us on a lane that had space and where we wanted. We went back up to get shoes (they like to keep the shoes on the same floor) where the first girl makes eye contact with us and proceeds to walk downstairs. We waited a few minutes and she comes back to te
This establishment is understaffed. It's takes forever if you need any assistance at all. The wait at the bar is insane. The bartender (if there is one) takes forever to serve you. This is always the case but our most recent visit, when we finally got the bartender?s attention, he was rude and annoyed. I love to bowl and it's something fun to do as a family but something has to improve otherwise we will not be back.
It was fun but they've reduced the hours for Saturday's unlimited bowling events
It was fun, we played bowling and listened to music. I had a great time especially with the Wednesday night special. Got to play unlimited games until it close. It started at 7pm. I wouldve gave it a 5 star rating but what I dislike was the food. The food was nasty. I only liked the pretzels. I don't recommend the pizza.
Came here to bowl, was confused on how they charge lanes and games , looks like no employees work here ordered two non alcoholic drinks 15 mins ago still don't have it
I love it here. I bring my son and his friend often and last time we went, half the lanes were blacked out and had black lights up instead, music playing and a fun time. My kids also enjoy the games the are available. The food is insanely over priced and service is terribly slow, but the bowling experience and staff were great ??
We had my son?s birthday party there. It was great! So we'll organized and they were very attentive. My only complaint is that they ran out of birthday candles. Otherwise is was a fantastic experience- I would highly recommend having a party there.
I wish I could put no stars. I was disappointed we order pizza and we waited 50 minutes for pizza and our soda and are pizza was rock hard and they gave us a second pizza and it was still rock hard. It was not worth 24 dollars. This one was in Webster ny
My wife and I along with our 2 granddaughters had a good time. Place was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Only negative was it seemed a bit pricy. It cost us over $82 for 8 games (2 games each) and rental of 4 pairs of shoes.
Little fun fact, on Monday nights you can get all you can bowl from 8pm to 11pm. My crew and I go pretty much weekly. It's a nice atmosphere, between music being at a good volume and a bar close by. Additionally, my friends and I get pretty rowdy and sorta do silly stuff, the staff never really complain or tell us to knock it off, even if we've had a few too many drinks. (We never break anything though, we're not that bad.)
it use to be a lot better but too many trash and riff raff come here now... literally have ruined it for everyone. It would be a nice to bowl if not for the hood trash that comes to bowl.
Fun bowling! There's no way this place goes out of business anytime soon with how many people are always here.
AMF in Webster NY hosted our company's Christmas party and did an amazing job! Lucy from the kitchen and all the other staff members were attentive to your needs and were so accommodating and friendly. What great party we had. Highly recommend! Tell them Mary Kathy sent you.
First Time there had a family gathering service was great along with the atmosphere yes everything was amazing we all bowled until closing definitely looking forward to coming back Best night ever yes Strike Night it was for Everyone ????
They're a little pricey but the bowling was fun and the drinks were yummy. They also have a small arcade that my kid liked.
We came here to enjoy a family night and had to end early due to a group of adults smoking marijuana INSIDE THE FACILITY. I had a baby and 10 year old that they saw and decided it was ok to smoke in front of. I spoke to the person in the front and they didn't apologize or ask the other group to stop/leave. I was highly disappointed that this was allowed since we were having a good time before the incident.
Very clean and fun facility. The do seem a bit understaffed, there was a huge cue for getting lanes, but several we're clearly not being used. The food smelled great, but there too the cue to order was so long and then the wait to get your order was massive. I'll totally go back to bowl.
First time going in was awesome! Easy game set up and staff that helped in a timely manner. Went back the following Sunday and was a total S--t show, rude and slow service. The guy tending the bar was slow, rude and gave friends of mine a hard time when trying to buy a couple beers with out of state IDs. And to top it off you apparently can't get a pitcher of water from the bar but you can get a cup of lemons. Avoid Sundays...
Had a new bartender on a Saturday didn't help her while she was overwhelmed parking lot turned into a sheet of ice asked them to salt and brought it to there attention and it still wasn't addressed as I am a disabled individual I had to ask a complete stranger to get my car and bring it closer so I didn't have to walk that many steps unsafely. 29 for loaded fries and individual pizza then 42 dollars for 4 drinks later this is how you treat your customers? Will not be back and recommend that disabled individ
Fun place for bowling the majority of my review is for my former work employment and how I was not treated as a human but a robot during it. You know the typical retail stuff. Hopefully the new manager is running it better.
Went there for a work party. The staff said hello and goodbye as I left and were helpful in finding my coworkers and where I needed to be. They were very friendly. Had a nice conversation with one of the bartenders. Only bad thing that happened to us was a shoe mix up.
Went out with friends as we decided to go bowling last minute, thankfully we got there when we did because we got a lane. The guys bowled (which bowling and show rental seems high) while my friend and I decided to check out the arcade area. Some games are pricey, but it was so much fun. A lot different than back in the day, everything is card/ digital based. It was a lot of fun, would recommend.
We had a great evening bowling. Empire Lanes has a $15 deal most nights after 8 pm. All you can bowl until midnight. The staff is polite and friendly. The lanes were in good shape. There were plenty of lanes available. We'd definitely go again!!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
