WE HAD A TIME LAST NIGHT!!!! The lanes were good, the FOOD WAS HITTING ALL METRICS! FRESHNESS, TEMPERATURE, AND PRESENTATION!!! The built-in indoor food truck design was really classy! I love the feel and flow. The Bartenders were ?? Cameron and his female partner in crime made some GREAT GREAT PITCHER DRINKS!!! Strawberry Margarita and a BMF are amazing. Come and enjoy with your love ones!
Being new to the area I was looking for something fun to do and this place didn't disappoint. The hospitality was next level and they made me feel like I've known them for years. Great staff. I will most definitely be back.
Haven't been to bowlero in a few months so decided to go yesterday. Come to find out a lot of people in Birmingham had the same idea. The girl behind the counter was amazing handling everything with such a good attitude. The kitchen staff and the bartender were so kind as well. It was nice to see all the women running the front of the building. Girl power was surely on point.
Great place to take the family! Love the atmosphere! Every time we've gone, it's cosmic bowling-which the kids absolutely adore! Every single employee is so kind. They could not be nicer or more accommodating. I recommend Bowlero Riverview anymore.
First time out and bowling. Had a great time. Staff and environment was welcoming.
Great customer service! Kandice at the front counter was very accommodating. The place is clean too and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great bowling alley to check this place out!
We love using our Summer Passes for Bowlero, good food, lemonade and lots of fun for the family! Carla is our favorite team member, she always makes sure we have what we need! ??
It's okay not bad at all. Plenty of parking they also have a snack menu didn't order anything seem to be reasonable and look pretty good on the menu. Had a pretty nice crowd there that night.. all seem to very much be enjoying themselves . Prices are reasonable. My only con a couple of times.. there was a glitch in the calculations of our play / scores. Clean restrooms available handicap parking workers appeared to be very nice. Only interacted with one and that was the cashier. Go ahead give it a try.
I can see why they sponsor this bowling alley on google because they need to bring in business. Definitely on the higher side of costs to bowl at $7 per game and $6 for shoe rental. Took us over 5 minutes to be helped, the couple in front us was clearly having an issue getting a lane. Our lane didn't return our balls the first 3 bowls and then it wouldn't reset the pins either. Had to get someone to help with that on both issues. Their menus have a QR code and say scan to order and pay but that didn't work
The summer pass is an amazing deal.
Had a wonderful time the drinks food and entertainment was top tier
Nice Place. Food order took some time to deliver. Overall, it was a good place to spend with family.
Pricing was high for a weeknight, but we enjoyed our bowling experience. Well maintained lanes, chill crowd, nice bartender. However, I am not able to recommend this location due to the male worker at the counter coercing a 22% tip out of my party. To be clear, the staff did not go above and beyond and did nothing outside of assigning us our lane and handing us our shoes. After my boyfriend signed the receipt (which was not itemized), the employee informed us that he "forgot to check the box to leave a tip
I went to the birthday party of my child's friend. The lights are not good for taking pictures, so the pictures are a little dark. But it was very good for the children to play. The arcade in the back is interesting, and the chair adjustable is convenient.
Nicest bowling alley I've been to, hands down... Clean, nice little in house sports bar, and the best watermelon splash lemonade I've ever had... Very much worth the visit!!!
The best place to bowl in Birmingham !! Much nicer than any other bowling alleys we've been to ! Carla is always a big help and so kind every time we go !!
Felt like a con. Pricing was not clear or explained well and seemed to be very high for a weekday night. Would not recommend. Will not be going back. (No itemized receipt and coerced tipping encouraged on reciepts)
Extremely friendly staff at check in, and every single time I walked past her. Prices were very reasonable. Clean environment (bathrooms were in great condition, especially for a VERY late Saturday night)! Multiple screens with music or football playing, so pick your poison. Parking lot was in good condition and well lit.Great experience all around. Would for sure return if we lived closer.
Very fun and exciting bowling Alley friendly staff. The food was great!!
We had fun the 2 hours we were here. The prices of bowling have gone up a lot since the last time I bowled. It was over $60 for 3 of us to bowl 2 games, in addition to cost of shoe rentals. I also highly recommend that you eat before you go. We paid OVER $5 for a small fountain drink. Other than the price, the facilities were nice and clean. We had no issues while we were there. I highly recommend this place just be prepared for the cost.
Nice place to gather with friends and have some fun! They do serve food and alcohol.
Fun place to bond with family, have a birthday party, or just blow off some steam. The food was very good although the wait time was pretty long ?? ?? I recommend the hot pretzels! The price is average and the Wednesday night specials are good.
Food is great Everything spotless Bowling and arcade stellar! Everyone friendly and helpful!
Actually had a great time with family here. I wanted to rate a five but the balls kept getting stuck on the return and pricing was thought to be high. Saturday nights is the time for family to enjoy without the high cost through this pandemic. But I can still say I had fun. I would consider coming back
Pretty clean and well kept. They had black lights for a glow effect and my family and I enjoyed our time there. Also they had a special that day, where all children got a number of free plays at their arcade and the kids loved that!
This location reminds me of the show cheers. If you come often enough the whole staff will remember your name and treat you like family. Their level of customer service is the most honest I have ever seen. They are genuinely trying to do their best for every guest. Whether that be their events or people just walking in looking for something fun to do. This is one of the few places I know of where people literally just come to hangout and talk to the staff. Whether that be sitting at the bar and ordering foo
It was a very clean place and the staff was very professional and polite! Carla was wonderful perfect place for a fun family night I highly recommend it!
What a great night! I simply reserved a lane online and we were treated like VIP. Great games in the arcade with a good prize shop. Bowling lanes are so nice. Our food , drinks and service were amazing! Absolutely plan on becoming a better bowler????
Everything you need in one place for a good family or friend night and food is really good too! Will be going again for sure!
First time there yesterday. Had a great time, very clean and great staff ?? ?
Haven't been there in YEARS!! Nice change of pace. I just wished there were dart boards and at least ONE LARGE AREA/ROOM that's kids are discouraged from going into. Never heard of renting pool tables for a time amount, especially in the bar area. It was a good night but would probably could have been better......
Clean facilities including rest rooms, friendly staff, food was above par for bowling alleys. Great place for a children's birthday party.
Kristina was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful with us not being from here and us trying to transfer our tickets from Tuscaloosa area to here. On top of that when the basketball game got stuck she came and helped us immediately. She was so helpful and nice !!!!! I will 100% come back!
Recommend Advance Booking: Yes Its Ok not a Allstar bowling arena. Food is just Ok.
This is my second time at this bowling alley with a few years in between each visit. The place was decent as far as cleanliness. I only had a few drinks but the staff was reasonable and my group of people didn't have any issues. The only suggestion I would make is to clean the shoes more thoroughly and than just spraying them down after being on peoples feet.
My wife and I enjoy bowling here a lot. We took advantage of the Summer Pass. I wish we lived closer. We would join one of their many leagues. The food is good and Candace and Patty always try to make everyone's experience at Bowlero the best it can be.
Staff is very friendly! Nice bowling alley to take the kids and have a fun family night.
I'll never understand having front desk staff that are far from friendly? took my son here for his birthday and the staff member immediately became rude after I said I didn't want the season pass. My son immediately started walking out, he's 10. Won't be back after going here for 10+ years
My family and I had SUCH a great night at Bowlero! We haven't bowled in a long time and forgot how much fun it is. Everyone had a blast. The facility was clean and orderly. The lighting and the music were ideal. We all had so much fun and I'm excited to go back in the future. I'd like to mention that Lane went above and beyond in helping me schedule my event and at the bowling alley, Carla did such a superb job making sure my family and I had everything we needed to enjoy our time. I didn't get his name but
I loved the lights and the bowling balls were fun! Carla was also super kind and helpful!!!!
I bowl here twice a week for league came on a Friday The start of the new summer pass the manager was a bit overwhelmed at the front desk but did a excellent job with the crowd at hand. Asked for bumpers and ramp to be delivered to my lane. I watched the manager call over her walkie talkie numerous times it took nearly 35 MINUTES(entire 3rd quarter of a NBA game) for another employee to show up with a ramp. I don't want to regret buying this summer pass for my child and I if this what's to come.
This is a great place to go bowling. Great customer service, food ,and prices. Carley the manager was awesome with her customer service. Would highly recommend coming here for bowling. This is a place my church men group get together and hang out!!
Best place, They have got the deal at around 9 PM where you will be getting complete 2:30hrs till the closing time. Enjoy the beers at the bar counter , They have got couple of various IPA beers too,,, Enjoy the other food items like Chicken wings and Pizza... You will get a Pizza with a Picture of beer Deal. They may forget to tell you that but you can ask for it. Enjoy the best bowling time.
Very impressed with Bowlero, I will definitely be going back. I look forward to many great games and fun times. Awesome staff. I enjoyed my practice session there
We have been bowling at Bowlero Riverview for several months . We bowl to have fun , but we are also serious bowlers . Before today we would give you a five star rating . But we arrived on Wednesday to find loud music and large screen TV's above the pins and shining on the lane where you can't see the arrows when bowling . After today we have dropped the rating down to one star . We don't bowl to watch TV . We talked to several people bowling around us that agree that what you have done makes serious bowl
I went bowling with my daughter and two grandsons. We had a really good time. My only complaint would be the cost of refreshments. The prices seemed a little high.
Went there couple weeks ago?paid 80 bucks for three people to play two games, unbelievable. I've bowled for many years, and this is one is the most expensive places I've bowled at. To give you some idea how overpriced it is, the next week I rented a lane in Ohio for an hour for $18. I asked the lady at the front desk about it and she said ?it's inflation??more like price gouging.
Had a great time without spending a ton of money! Drinks, food, games, and especially the bowling was beyond our expectations and we are thinking of making this a regular outing!
Used to come here all the time but recently their prices have become ridiculous... Explains why it was almost empty on a Friday evening. You're better off going somewhere else.
We have our Bowling for Junior Achievement here every year. Everyone is always so nice and the facility is always clean.
Enjoy the scenery. The lights the music the hospitality of customer service and the food Court. I would say a great place to take the family for Saturday outing.
We had a great time. Free refills on soft drinks will usually do that!
I mostly love Bowlero Riverview but it's just gotten so so expensive. It is always clean. The staff could be a little more personable, frankly. I'd be willing to overlook that if I weren't constantly spending an actual arm and a leg.
It was my first time in this place and the first time in a long time since I'd bowled. The line was long and kind of slow to get shoes and our lane assignment. Once that was handled, though, all else was good. It was Labor Day so the place was pretty full as many off work and out of school had the same idea. I was there on a date and we had a great time though that had more to do with him and I enjoying each other's company. This bowling place was a decent backdrop and I'd be okay returning. We did not e
We always have a fun time here. Bowling is good, It's always clean, And I like the arcade switched to cards over coins. Food is pretty decent but way, way over priced. Each fountain drink is like $5. But they do have food that is a lot better than any of the other bowling alleys around here. Staff is pretty friendly and so is management. I definitely recommend and I'm also having a children's birthday party here so I will update after that has happened.
Visited over the Thanksgiving holiday. The location was understaffed, the 2 assigned lanes had constant stuck pins an unreturned balls problems, and management had great difficulty enforcing their ?no smoking? policy around the entrances. This was an overall poor experience for the money paid, a place where actual bowling is overshadowed by service issues and distractions, and I won't be back.
I had a wonderful time at Bowlero Riverview! The staff, food, equipment and new updates made the day enjoyable. Thank you!
BE AWARE OF YOUR PRICE BEFORE YOUR HAND OVER YOU CREDIT CARD Last night I visited this location to bowl. I arrived around 7:40pm I spoke to the girl at the desk and explained that I wanted the Monday Special 8pm-11pm unlimited bowling for $14.49. I told her that I would wait to 8pm for that. She said you needed my credit card to assign me me lane. She assigned me a lane. I waited at the lane until 8pm. I started then. I finished around 10pm and went back to the counter. She then told be my charge was for
I had a great time here. The atmosphere was really awesome went there for my birthday with my friend and everything was perfect.
Really busy the night we went. We had reserved 2 lanes so it wasn't bad at all. Alcohol and food were really tasty.
Hosted a party here and it was very nice! Staff was very helpful and on time with setup. Even the decor was very cute and not cheesy. When we needed additional assistance the staff was very prompt in doing so. Could definitely see myself visiting again.
Too expensive a family of 4 will have to pay 84 dollars for 1 1/2 hours of bowling, nachos ( the cheapest thing on the menu) will cost you 15 dollars add a drink now You're right at 100 dollars, the nachos and drink is only for one person, if everyone is eating and drinking you're looking at close to 200 dollars just to bowl and eat. It's a sad shame that a family has to pay this much money for family entertainment ??
Great place for the family.
We had a work holiday party here and everything was perfect. The food was great, and everyone had a wonderful time. All the staff members were pleasant and very accommodating. Will definitely be visiting again soon! Keep up the good work!
It's a neat place, and a lot of fun. Its family friendly. However they don't have enough employees to handle the crowd on Saturday night. So you end up waiting a long time in line and it kind of kills some of the fun. On less busy nights, its probably good.
Nice lanes, heavier oil than oak mountain. I definitely got more drift on my ball. Took me a while to adjust to it, but I like the extra oiliness over all as I feel like I can get more curve, once I adjust to it. Nice people and I look forward to going back. Unlike Oak Mountain, they hadn't turned their lanes over to schools, so there were plenty of lanes for normal people to play.
It was really nice inside. The guy at the bar was awesome and the price special they had the night I went was nice. My only complaint is not being able to pick less than 2 hours
Bowling was nice. Food was really good! Wish the bathrooms were a little cleaner & more updated. Overall good experience.
I can only give so much of a review as I really only go on Fridays, after 8pm, when they offer the unlimited bowling for like $13-14. But they bring in a dj around 10:00 and it's a pretty good time. There is a full bar and pool tables. Also a small game room. Service has always been excellent. I have no complaints.
Ok place. Be prepared to wait a season for snacks or drinks as they surely aren't acquainted with speed. EDIT... So my last visit included a "service charge" on all orders place at the bar, and a snack bar, and the customer service counter. The food is not that spectacular, nor the service stellar enough to force patrons to tip. Now I have worked in a service industry, and I know how to tip according to service. Me and a few others that were there that night will not return to this location again. And then
We had so much fun! The only issue we had was we had a large group and we offered to rent three lanes. But because of weekend policy, they wouldn't allow us to do that. I'm not positive of the reason but other than that, we enjoyed it!
Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, clean facility. Prices are high, not debilitatingly so by any means but if you have more than 4 people in the family and want to bowl it gets pretty high pretty quick. For 5 of us to bowl and pay for shoes it was $100+ for two games per person.
Great place always fun times
Great fun. The inside has been updated, and it looks good
Delicious!!! I love it !!!! I can eat really fresh!!!! all ingredients are selected very crisp vegetables, plus I can balance my meal and choose healthy nutrition !!!
My son and I go there quite often, even though we live in Trussville. If you go to their website and sign up for their monthly newsletter you will receive monthly coupons which are really nice. The food is incredible, love the Buffalo sandwich! Great place!
Very nice for a family outing or just a couple of friends. Weekly specials, a snack bar, and beverage bar.
Cool place for bowling, nice lanes, good service
Did not enjoy it. Our lane kept messing up. The pins would not all get set up (like 3 or 4 would be missing when it would reset) and then at one point it just stopped working altogether. The only reason I'm not giving it a one star is because one of the employees was very helpful.
Did not like it. Manager and pink haired employee didn't seem like they wanted to help me and my family I rather go to spare time an hour away.
It's a nice place to bowl. Fairly modern. We went on a Saturday night, so expectedly, there was a bit of a wait. My party of 6 bowled two games. When we were done and went to settle the bill, the line was super long. An employee refused on two occasions to utilize the second register to get through the line faster. We were in line for almost half an hour just to pay.
The staff was friendly and everything was very clean! The food was shockingly good, although the wait time was pretty long - but I was there for a big event so they had their hands full!
Booked my daughter's birthday party here and they went above and beyond to make it just right. Everyone was super friendly and the kids loved the chicken fingers, fries, pizza, and sundae bar that was included in the package. Well worth the money.
Had a wonderful time! Definitely look forward to going back!
Lawrence has been there every time I go and he is absolutely amazing at his job. He delivers great service and has no problem helping out. I see him run back and forth doing as much as he can. He's really funny and good to have a conversation with. I would highly recommend going to bowlero.
I go here every weekend and my dad is in a league. It's very fun, exciting, and overall amazing experience here. It's clean and the food is surprisingly good! The bowling store inside is cool to check out if you are interested in buying a ball, bag, shoes, or just a few accessories for your equipment. I love it here. The workers are very kind and funny.
Drinks at bar are delicious. The food it s so so and our order was in the counter for several minutes because nobody call us to pick it up.
Food is decent and bar is pretty well stocked. Service is sometimes good, sometimes not there. Wish they had a better way to give out lanes instead of putting everybody directly next to each other when it is slow. Kinda pricey but that's every bowling alley.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
