Bowlero River Grove

Went here for a family night of bowling and had a blast. The food was good and so were the drinks. All the employees we interacted with were very nice and courteous. There was security checkpoint when we entered, but we didn't mind it. My only con was that they didn't have the automatic gutter bumpers for the kids, we used a slide which wasn't as effective, but my kids still had fun.

Great service. The people at the counter were really respectful. On the other hand the female security guard was very unprofessional. (Friday 1/31/25) She has an attitude and she out of control. When I asked her name she gave me an attitude and said I don't want to talk to you. She needs to get let go before she gets someone innocent in trouble for her misbehavior.

Jose (manager) took amazing care of my team for a Home Depot work outing. He ensured we had lanes reserved. Ensured we were all taken care of & gave us amazing customer service. I really appreciate the service & curtesy his entire team showed. Was thinking of having another outing and will definitely be back to this location. Food and drinks were also great !!!

We were here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the service was horrible and atrocious. The woman who served us was constantly making problems, and our friend didn't have a very fun celebration. We will definitely never go there again, and all our friends and family agreed. I don't recommend it.

This is the second time I've done an event with them! Best value and the best service for a bowling alley! Totally recommend! Liz, Jose and Tina were the best for these services!!

We came to bowlero River grove to celebrate my son's 6th birthday and let me tell you that EVERYTHING exceed my expectations. Went for my daughter's 8th grade graduation It was so much fun We only had 6 bowlers, but Jose and Angie made our experience so nice & very friendly and always asked us if everything was ok. The kids had a good time. Every penny was worth it

I absolutely love this location, Me and my family come here every weekend. Great prices, great staff. and they also have unlimited bowling in the evening. I would definitely recommend this place over any other bowling alley. the rest are too expensive.

Was a good bowlero but hard to get into parking wise. Definitely worth for kids birthday parties or dates.

We chose this location for my son's 16th birthday party. Angie was the best party host! She made sure we were well taken care of, and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend her and this establishment.

Honestly, this isn't the place to go. I understand about keeping people safe but the security is ridiculous. I felt like I was about to see the president of the United States. ?????? there is also a way of checking people and being polite. I've been to many bowling places and this was the worst one yet. Bathrooms are all clogged and disgusting and a lot of people including the bartender were rude.

This place has gone downhill in recent years, definitely gonna find a new alley. Security is unnecessarily rude. Every time I've gone here there's been some sort of problem with the lane, either not starting the game or things breaking. Most recent time, the ball return jammed on our last frame and after fifteen minutes of watching them try to fix it, you'd think they would move us to an open lane. Nope. So we left. Didn't even get my money?s worth.

Racist security . Profiled my girl and told her she is going to call ice and show her Ice documentation. Since when a security guard acting like ice agent? I can easily proof it but targeted because skin color no way. Never ever come to this places my Latino people.

Police were at the front door to check belongings. Lanes are dirty and left grime each frame. Uncomfortably warm and beer was skunked.

Very cool and seems like there is lots of parking. Breezy temperature on the inside, no long wait lines, lots of seating, no place to charge my phone. I think they need a charging bar. Food is nicely priced. They offer lanes where there is no gutter. Good for children bowling. Nice staff. If you ask for water they will say remove your lid and add water. Nice staff.

Pretty good location. Could work slightly on their customer service from time to time. I'm in a bowling league here and overall with all the people in the league there are mixed reviews on people that enjoy this place and people that don't.... keep comming back though week after week so guess its not that bad. They just changed their Sunday special $3.09 a game from starting at 6:00 P.M to starting at 8:00 P.M and in my opinion they should have kept it starting at 6:00 P.M

Went for a field trip, very clean and loved the cartoons and music for the little kids. Bought 2 water for $4 each, which was a little expensive, in my opinion. And the person didn't put $ in his register, instead in his wallet. But other than that. Great place.

Not worth the price considering the frequent software/hardware malfunction in bowling lanes and game rooms. Overhead screens often did not reflect actual game scores or bowlers. This is not a one time experience! As one who has frequented this establishment for years I have finally decided that it may be time to abandon my loyalty to this place. Bring back Brunswick!

Disappointed with Added Service Charges I recently visited Bowlero River Grove and had an enjoyable time with friends. I've been coming here for a while now and the service continues to amaze me! Jose and Reyes are incredible and always so kind, accommodating, and hardworking. I have zero complaints and would recommend this place to absolutely anyone!!

Jailene the bartender is the only reason I am leaving a star on this review! She was attentive even though the rest of the bar staff was rude. The rest of the staff came out after she was busting her butt trying to serve the bar and the line. They told us about a 30 min wait which is fine, but that time passed and they added another 30. And that time passed! Their reasoning is that lanes/areas needed to be cleaned. Half of the lanes were not even being used! I understand things get busy but COME ON!!

We went here for my bachelorette party and Pawin, was the main guy who helped us out (a couple more trickled in every once in awhile and they were also just as great). It was a busier night, Friday night, and I know for sure one big other party. But we were taken care of and had a great time. Had big fun, was here for a birthday party and the overall vibe was lively, fun and everyone was so friendly. Old and the young came have fun. Anna or Ann waited on us, we loved the attention she our party which are the night even better. Great drinks, decent food but big fun.

This is a good place for bowling and they have some good deals too. Their arcade games in this location were limited, I would love to see more games. Also for some reason we wouldn't get the tickets we won there was nothing to inform us if the tickets were no longer available or anything like that. So I would really recommend this location for bowling but not so much for arcade.

We're we're so happy to take our little granddaughters there. They had a blast!! The put the bumpers up and then they also gave us a rack for them to bowl easier. We will go back for sure!

Jose and Reyes run the bowling alley so smooth and efficiently! Jose knows me and my girlfriends name whenever we come in and treat us like family all the time. Excellent customer service and hospitality. I think his position should be higher than what it is honestly.

I threw a party for my 10 year old daughter yesterday and had a great time at this location. The party was in the early afternoon and had a very chill vibe. Everything was clean, the music was great, and all my guests were impressed with the decorations and food. Angie and Jose were also great hosts and my party wouldn't have been as successful without them making sure things were set up and timely. The manager Israel also made sure everything was smooth. We will be back for bowling fun!

The customer service is amazing here. From the staff to the management, they really made sure we were welcomed and taken care of. We plan on coming back soon since the kids can't stop raving about it.

It's been a while since I've been here. Remolded this place, everything was awesome, food was excellent, game room the best and cheap, prizes from the game room on point and it's always a good time with family and friends and the music. I've had the pleasure to see how Bowlero River Grove has transformed with the new additions to the facility. I've gone with friends and my children. Their staff has been short staffed at times but has always risen to a customers needs. Service is horrible. Food took over an hour. Security is uncontrollable nowhere I would ever visit again security I do appreciate security. Yes I do but overdoing your role is unnecessary and this is what they do here so unless you wanna feel like you're going through the hard knock twice with security taking off and then opening up your purses in a disrespectful way this is a place to come.

This place is alright but the security is annoying asf it's not that serious no other bowling alley does this left my ID in the car went back in and security acting like I brought back a Bomb made me go through the dumb security process again didn't even have a purse or a coat on where would I have hidden anything food takes forever too??

Last time I ever come bowling here! The female security guard treated us like criminals as i was walking in with my family to spend some family time on a Sunday evening, totally uncalled for!

Not often do I go bowling but when I do security checks always make things feel like a hassle. Fortunately Dory the security guard at the bowlero was very kind to me and all the others coming into the establishment. She really did an awesome job at making the guests, my family, and I feel welcomed and safe!

Nice atmosphere but very expensive for what we got. $8.99 per person per game and full price for 4 year old. Just seemed like a lot since you have to pay for shoe rental too. $45 all in for just 1 short game with 3 people.

Me and family had a great time, but the service was absolutely terrible! The bartender was the waitress and the server so she had an attitude all night kept telling everyone to wait. I waited an hour for an order of Buffalo wings and mozzarella bites. The balls were sticky. The cook in the kitchen was the same man that just passed us our bowling shoes. When I say hot mess I wish I could give 0 stars!! Do not recommend won't be back.

I took my team of 15 people bowling. The place is a little dated. But we all had a great time because it was the making of great service by Isreal and Cece, they made our event worth while. If we come back it will be just because of them and their attention to detail and care for our group event.

We were here for a birthday party. Food was great. Service was great. We had some technical difficulties but the staff was very helpful and fixed the issues to the best if their abilities. Definitely will be back.

Great family and b day spot

We had such a great time. The 5 of us got through about 3 games. We stayed till close and the service was great. Even the people in the lane next to us were super cool. My only complaint would be prices were a bit much but we shot our money's worth in the end.

The security at the front door was excessive with their demands and unfriendly towards my party. This made entering the bowling alley a very unpleasant experience. Drinks and food were overpriced. However the bowling alley was clean and the food/bar staff were friendly.

Hosted a party there, it was amazing. Maya & Jose were amazing. Assisted us and made sure everything was in place, and checked on us to make sure everything was okay and if we ever needed anything else.

Tony was great. They had just changed over to summer hours,but he made certain they honored the original open time and our group had the best time!

Went for a birthday party with my granddaughter it was an okay place but know where I would have went just because but they did have some good pizza and they're gaming area for kids was not a best selection and the kids play skee ball but the end of it was broken and you had to hold it up in order for them to play I'm not understanding that they need to fix their items before kids play on them

I would've loved to give this place 5 stars because it was very clean and the kids had a great time. However, the customer service was horrible. Jose gave me 3 pair of shoes but his coworker forgot to charge me for 3 bowlers, only 2. Instead of acknowledging the situation, she cut off our bowl time and blamed us for her mistake. She was rude and disrespectful.

We had a party for our twin boys this past Sunday and everything ran smooth. From the moment we walked the manager Ashley and the girls at check in made sure we were taken care. Always helpful and answered any questions. All the kids had a blast bowling and food was good. I was a bit worried the place would be packed for Sunday bowling but it wasn't! It was very comfortable and the atmosphere was fun.

Check your receipts ! They are trying to over charge. Not only do they charge you an additional service fee to absolutely every order. They also over charge you but their system doesn't show it. My receipt showed $39 and I check my bank account and that says $44. The original plate I order was $33!! Not including taxes! That's $10 extra ! Check your receipts and check your bank statement before leaving!

The food is terrible, the nachos chips bad. The fake cheese is horrible. The food does not look like the photos on the menu. The games, arcades are horrible except air hockey. Skip the over priced, poor tasting food. Skip the arcades and the games horrible, some do not work right. Only go for bowling and get out and you have a better experience.
