Cold, wet, rainy night let's go bowling !!Family fun night at its best. We prefer this spot of the other locals due to the fact of how you're able to have your own little nook for each two lanes reserved. .

Just want to acknowledge that I've blown it not bringing my kids to this alley sooner. This place is absolutely wonderful compared to everything around. It's clean, well managed, staff are wonderful and overall it was just a tremendous experience and we can't wait to come back.

I recently visited this amazing bowling place and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! Not only do they have a fantastic kids game area, but the food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was perfect, creating a great vibe throughout the entire place. It's not just a bowling alley, it's a complete experience. Had a pretty disappointing experience with one of the employees here yesterday. My boyfriend and I came in for a casual date night, and despite the alley being mostly empty, we were given a lane that was already occupied by a large family with kids. Since we were planning to drink and didn't want to intrude, I politely asked if we could be moved to another lane. Went on a Friday evening, Nice set up for 2 lane reservations or when it's not crowded and you can have the seating for 2 lanes to yourself. Limited ball selection without taking from other lanes. Good food, beer, and service.

We came here for the New Year Eve celebration. They have provided 4 hours of bowling, food, soft drinks, champagne, party favors. We had a wounded time. The food was decent. People worked there were very friendly. They gave us two lanes for four of us. We will come back again soon.

As a lighting professional, I had to mention that the orange overhead lighting is a really bad look... Makes it hard to see pretty much everything and every photo of our event looks orange. From start to finish, the process of booking our holiday party was seamless and just easy. And in the chaotic environment that I work in, I always value easy and seamless. The party planner Kristin was great with assisting in booking and was quick to respond to every question. She was most helpful. Once I arrived the night of the event, I immediately greeted and introduced to the manager and GM. Both were extremely welcoming and kept a pulse on me and my team all night. We celebrated my best friend birthday party today at this location. We love the atmosphere nice and clean. The drinks from the bar delicious. The manager was great he checked in on us a few time through out the party food was good the music was great a little something for everyone. We stayed and played a few of the games. They got rid of the old Sunday night special and the website says they have specials every night. This was our first visit. The facility was very clean and well maintained. The lanes were in good condition, and the staff was professional and courteous! The food was another plus!

I was there Friday the 13th with my boyfriend. Not many people were here. Only one side of the bowling alley was being used. Pretty diverse crowd for the small amount of people. There were couples, infants, and people on dates here. Music was popping, and the cost was fairly cheap. For two pairs of bowling shoes and one game is was about $26. We didn't get any food or drinks so I have no comment on those. I loves the atmosphere.

The selection of various single-player and multiplayer games will keep you busy while the rest of the team members for the ?main course? (aka for bowling) arrive at the site; whilst, the excellent chef would satisfy your hunger with the most delicious meal options that pair up so well with on tap beer choices offered at the bar. Atmosphere is good, bowling was fun, only reason for one star is because the lady who was in charge of the alcohol asked me for a tip (give them gratuity) because she stated "I don't work here for free so a tip is needed" yeah right, if I have to stand in line and come up to you for alcohol or drinks then I'm not tipping. It's also funny how she didn't ask the first 8 people to tip her but when it came to me she ended up pulling this stunt.

Wish they had more healthier food options and that there were fewer balls with deep scratches and grooves but otherwise my family or 12 had a great time the day after Thanksgiving!

Now this five star rating isn't because this place is some fantastic establishment or mind-blowing experience. Its just casual bowling. The staff, however, were amazing. Edit/addition: I booked my daughter's 10th birthday party here for 5/19/24 on-line, called customer support and confirmed the date and time Monday prior to the party. Staff were welcoming and professional. The manager was incredibly helpful helping remedy issues my group had. Equipment was in working order and everything was clean. Had a good variety of food and drink available. Definitely will be returning in the future.

We visited in 4/18 and the lady at the front desk was so polite and welcoming (I didn't get her name though). Our bartender Mel was an absolute sweetheart. She never once got annoyed with our constant questions or ordering. She's absolutely amazing!! Great staff and such a great time

I bowl in a league on Wednesday evenings here. Of all four Bolero locations, this one is my favorite by far. It's spacious. The lanes are mature and professional looking. The staff is friendly and professional. And the atmosphere is always Electric- not to mention the TV screens around the bar area for sports viewing. There are a lot of stores shopping malls around the alley for shopping convenience. A great spot here in Mechanicsville Virginia

Went here with my cousins on Saturday and was treated very rudely by the gentleman who was working the front where the bowling shoes are. He told us it would be a ten minute wait and for us to take a seat which we were fine with. My cousin asked us how he will find us because it was busy and the man rudely told us, ?I'll walk over and find you?. If he said it calm and collected that would be normal, but he said it in a very rude way. My younger sister who was with us wears the hijab so I'm not sure if that

My social club had our Christmas gathering at this location and everyone was so helpful, polite and professional.

Very nice in side. I just have two problems with the layout. When walking to the bowling lane. You have to step down from the main floor. This step Needs to be Highlighted, so people can see it . Especially at night when the lights are dim. They need to remove the arcade from in front of the woman bathroom. There's no room for the people that's bowling and eating at lane 13 thru 18.

The staff was great and the facilities were really nice! It looked like it had been updated not long ago. They have food and a well stocked bar. I would totally recommend a visit if you like to bowl.

I came here on Sunday with a group to celebrate our friend's birthday; the facility and overall experience on Sunday was honestly great! Very nice alley! Although it was crowded, COVID-19 regulations were followed. It was about three or four people working, so there was a bit of a wait for everything. However, it was a fun and clean experience! Food and cocktails are great, too!

Not set up well... There were games in the middle of aisles, so it was difficult getting to and from your lane. We paid $18 for a lane attendant ( didn't have a choice), but there was no attendant. The bar was in the middle of the place but required a line that was in the way.

Recently went here for a company work function that was planned for weeks in advance. The facility was nice and clean. The shoe check-out was fast and all the shoes looked new. The lanes worked without any real problems. My only complaint is despite having a group party reservation with food ordered weeks in advance, the didn't get the food (pizza, pretzels, pop-corn) or drinks (beer) ready for almost an hour after our party started.

First time going and I was thoroughly impressed. Decent prices and pretty good setup. I only wish it was a little closer to home. Had to come here since the bowling alley near us closed down. Would definitely recommend to a friend and will probably be back in the future!

Very good bowling and entertainment experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The bar was short-staffed but they worked extra hard to make sure everyone was served promptly. Nice lanes with plenty of room to hang out at nearby tables.

Great atmosphere, food, drinks and games! I went on a weekday and there was enough lanes that no one had to wait but small enough to not be overwhelming. They had a few arcade games like air hockey and claw machines. Overall a great experience.

Was really cool spot. We went on a Tuesday & they had two dollar Long Island ice teas. Discounted rates are per person. I will definitely be returning. The garlic parm fries hit the spot too. Can't wait to try other stuff.

My friends and I (group of 8) had the BEST experience at Sunset Lanes. When we arrived they greeted us and had our reservation ready. They were attentive and the price was what we were looking for. Kane the general manager and the staff was great!!!

We visit here almost every Saturday. Most of the people at the front desk are very friendly. This Saturday the gentleman with the glasses was very accomodating in helping us with our lane. If we have any suggestions it would be with concessions. The soda drinks need to be properly calibrated.....the right mixture of syrup with soda. A nice feature is free iced water at the counter.

Went here for a corporate event. Service was fantastic. Food was surprisingly good besides the sliders, they were hockey pucks on bread. Everything else was great. Fully stocked bar, new shoes, well taken care of balls. Only a handful of arcade games that were not set up for multiplayer. Fun with a large group of Co workers!!!

We have enjoyed ourselves both times we've visited. It's a fun group activity or just with you and another. I took my 7 year old son and we had a really good time, just the two of us. Groupon usually has something for them, too. We went for two hours for 19 bucks and it was well spent, considering we played a solid five games and shoes were included. Food and beer wasn't too horribly priced, either!

Although I miss the atmosphere of the old bowl America Bowlero more than compensated for that in every other way. Great deals all week on food and games and the bar tender Thomas was a real professional. Definitely will be coming back.

We arrived at 3:30pm and a young lady told us that the lanes were reserved til 5, so we waited and came back. At 5pm, they tell us there's another hour wait. Fine. ANOTHER HOUR LATER, it's 6pm, the crowd is beginning to come in, I approach the front desk and talk to another employee and he informs me that there is a waiting list and that we would have to be on the waiting list ?again?. My boyfriend and I went around noon and during that time the price was 5.99 for the game and 5.99 for shoes..very less crowded..we didn't order food but had drinks and they were very good..we definitely enjoyed ourselves

Always such a great place to go with the family. The employees are always nice and conversationalists. Any Problems or issues with lanes are handled rather quickly. These guys are great to me it's still Sunset Bowling Alley. Bowlero name will take some getting use to. You guys Rock.

I felt terrible for the bartender, she was doing the best she could and it was obvious that you guys were understaffed and she was getting overwhelmed trying to serve all the guests by herself. On that note- Great job Forever, you were awesome! I hope management hires another bartender to help next Tuesday, league night + two dollar night = 2-3 bartenders minimum.

This is a much smaller place than other bowlero locations. It was packed, but some lane were empty. We were a party of 6 and the hostess sat us up next to another party of 5 maybe, although she could have picked from 4 other empty lanes. I was not pleased with the way they handled the Groupon situation or lack thereof. If someone is gracious enough to purchase a Groupon for your business you should honor it regardless if you're open.

Cashiers had HORRIBLE customer service skills. They spoke to me as if they didn't want my business, so I took it elsewhere.

The drinks are good. When I went it wasn't crowded plus. The only I didn't like which had nothing to do with the staff or service... the guest need to control their kids

The staff were pretty chill and awesome. They didn't mind helping our large group find the right size bowling shoes and bowling balls. My only complaint is that the kitchen staff to a very long time to make the nachos and chili cheese fries we ordered. By the time, they brought the food out, we were already halfway through our game :(
