Bowlero Pittsburgh

Reviews Summary

The bowling alley receives mixed reviews, with many praising its friendly staff, clean facilities, and fun atmosphere, especially for family outings and events. However, criticisms focus on high food and bowling prices, outdated or malfunctioning equipment, inconsistent service (especially on weekends), and slow credit card processing. Some enjoy the bar and additional amenities like pool tables, while others complain about poor maintenance, rude staff, and overpriced, low-quality food. Positive experiences highlight well-run tournaments and good customer service, but negative ones cite mismanagement, long waits, and unmet expectations.

Customer Reviews

We absolutely loved this place! It had an old-school vibe, but all the right modern amenities, including being able to order food and drinks from our lane. But what really made the night was Bowlero having an employee like Derek. Derek just made a great experience even better. Not only did Derek give great advice to our group of novices, we felt so welcomed and not judged for being a bit clueless... a perfect night out.

I took my kids here for some fun after church. Everyone was very friendly. The place was clean. And the food was great. We got the nachos and funnel cake fries. They also have a little arcade section. All in all a nice location.

It's been a long time since I've been to this Blowing location and it's looked a lot different now. The vibe overall has been very fun and exciting and the atmosphere has changed a bit which seems a bit more calmer. It's a great place to take your family or if you just want to have a good night out. The two ladies at the food counters were very nice. Overall very nice place and I would go again I would recommend anyone who's interested at least trying this place once because he has a lot more activities in

Wonderful option for a birthday party! Unlimited bowling and food was really good. Planning was also easy and we had a couple special requests that were able to be accommodated. Would definitely recommend for events!

I would have given 2 1/2 stars for a rating but because the place is getting a makeover, I cut them some slack. The bar area is under renovations and is dusty. The wait for drinks took forever as we were told they were short staffed. Had to pay for our food order at the bowling counter and not the snack bar as they were low on employees. The plus side, free use of pool ?? tables on Thursdays and discounted bowling ?? after hours. Most of the staff was rude.

Drove an hour for the "extensive arcade" that is all over their website. Surprise! It doesn't even exist. I was told "Nope. Sorry. Getting installed Monday." So bummer, but I thought ok, we will just bowl and come back next time for the arcade. Just kidding! The lanes were "completely full" so my five year old was turned away. So we went to Dave and Buster's (a real arcade) and we won't be back. Terrible customer service. The manager was anything but empathetic.

I would like to thank the wonderful staff for an excellent experience beginning to end for my son?s bowling party. Derek the manager was amazing and accommodating, and Katelyn and Jimmy the cooks made delicious food! Everyone had a wonderful, relaxing time (plenty of seating) and I would recommend Bowlero Pittsburgh (Noble Manor) to anyone who is looking for a great time with top notch customer service :). I would also like to thank Joe at the pro shop for his incredible help - he is also top notch!

Eat before you go. Prices are way out of line. Ordered nachos and cheese no beef and paid $13.00. They only put on one small scoop of cheese. Pepperoni Pizza is $22. Chicken sandwich $13 and does not come with fries.

Good time. Good food. Play in a league during winter/ spring. Enjoy the atmosphere.

The bowling tournament was run very professionally Excellent staff. They handled the large crowd and made the food orders as fast as they could.

Place went downhill.Kids running around the bar area getting served sodas before actual paying customers. No music in the bar. Pool tables shut down. ?All night? bowling as advertised starts an hour late due to leagues playing, yet still get charged full price. Won't be back

great place, solid food, drinks and arcade section, and helpful staff.

Clean, good pizza and the manager was a super nice guy.

It was great. Had a great time visiting here.

Nice place for bowling with great pizza, nachos and beer.

A nice place but extremely overpriced. We payed over $100 just for two games for 4 people. Will not be going back.

Went here Saturday night on a whim and had a great time. The workers that I interacted with were very friendly. Fairly decent prices. They remodeled and it looks great. They also brought back their unlimited bowling and it is clearly a hit. I definitely plan to come back here when I'm back in town again!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff- great pizza

Top notch bowling, well maintained lanes ,pool room and huge bar with dart boards. Good fries to

Nice lanes and workers. Food was great.

Staff is great and very helpful. Also it was very clean

For Saturday night bowling they are asking crazy amounts of money to bowl. For me and my wife for 1 1/2 hrs the cost was going to be $72...that is absolutely insane. We didn't bowl but went to the bar and played darts and had some drinks. Their food is amazing and priced right.

Nice clean place but SO EXPENSIVE! Family of 4 played 3 games, 2 pitchers of beer, fries ($13), and 2 other apps and it was $175. We won't go back due to cost- that's more than top golf or Dave n busters!

In order to ensure a lane, we were required to make a reservation, in order to make a reservation you are required to pay ahead of time IN FULL for all people. And they will not refund you if people can't make it and you need to modify your reservation. I called because I had one person unable to attend, but they only give you ?store credit.? Quite ridiculous considering the cost is $40 to bowl AND children under 3 are the same price as adults. So even though I gave them HOURS of notice that my party is bei

Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Loved the experience

No crowd, we had enough freedom to play.. recommend

Very expensive for a night out with small kids. We went on a Saturday night and was not honored with the price of the Flyers for all night bowling. The person at the counter said that they should not have been left out and would not honor the price as they were on each table. He just went around and collected them. I brought it to their attention that the Flyers were even out and figured they should have at least honored their mistake. We will not be returning

Great place to bowl. Wheelchair accessible and has bowling ball ramp.

Like the upgrades to the facility and it is still a great place to go bowling, arcade games, and food, with family and friends, all around great service.

Came during what was listed as operating hours on their website only to find they weren't open to the public

Great venue and the staff was amazing. I cannot thank Noble Manor enough for their hospitality. Thanks!

Great place to take the kids to play and eat a snake while playing. Their food is pretty decent and prices are fair! Plenty of parking and easy in and out of this location. They are definitely understaffed though the lady that's running the show is doing a great job!

The lanes here are very well maintained. The staff has been friendly to my family and I every time we go and the atmosphere is fantastic. On top of it all you can shoot pool for free every Thursday!!!!! Downside is the drinks are a little pricey, paid $5.00 for an energy drink. Overall it's good family fun.

I only got to play pool the last time I was here, but I will definitely be returning more than once to get some bowling in. Pool was fun too. The building used to be an AMF Lanes, but since they changed businesses, it's Bowlero. The first thing I said when I walked into Bowlero for the very first time, was "what happened to the wall that was here?" so they had knocked out a wall so now instead of having to walk all the way around the front desk you can walk in the building and the tables and a few arcade ga

I attended a youth group activity on a Saturday evening. The lanes are well maintained and the staff was very accommodating setting up one of our lanes on demand with the gutter bumpers for that set of bowlers. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. They asked to help whenever we seemed confused or looking for something. There is a full bar separate from the lanes convenient for the adults. The menu has a nice variety and was all very good.

Looked nice. Did not play. Only stopped through. But the people I know were having a good time, and recommended I return in thr future to play.

Great place to bowl with very friendly staff. With an alley this large it is always easy to get a lane and if you do have to wait they have a great pool hall where you can kill time. There are always leagues going for all ages if you like to be part of a team and the weekly fees are reasonable. Snacks and drinks are also available at the snack counter so there is no need to work about spending a few hours relaxing with friends here.

This review has nothing bad to say about the place itself. Its clean, well maintained, friendly service by the manager. Honestly, no complaints. BUT, it costs $4.29 to rent shoes, it cost $5.64 to bowl one game. It cost my family of 4 nearly $40 to bowl for 40 minutes all said and done. I'm happy to pay for having fun and I bowled in a league as a teenager so I want my sons to at least know how to bowl, but the cost isn't worth it. They could have charged 40$ for 3 games for a family of 4 and I'd get it. B

Prices are very high for out of date facilities. They stack bowlers next to each other with a half empty facility and rush you out the door right after you finish. I won't be back.

One of the better alleys on the area. The house balls were in good condition. The place was kept clean an well maintained. Food was good. The lanes are a little slippery. The smoking bar is the only real downside. You have to choke if you want a mixed drink.

Friendly staff. Place is neat and unspeakable. Clean shoes. A must stop by for a family and Friends reunion or gathering. Looking forward to go this place quite often in future. Staff is very friendly and helpful in assigning the area for bowling and quick service.

It's a bit more expensive for bowling and drinks. I don't love the layout of the seating at the lanes. The lanes are nice and maintained very well.

I find it's a great place to bowl, to be honest. Two things to keep me from giving them a full five-star rating: The men's bathroom and the approaches on the lanes. The toilets are sometimes neither flushed by the patron nor is anything done if there is there anything done about fecal matter left on the seat of the toilets. Plus, there are never enough paper towels. The lane approach on some of the lanes see either sticky or there is food or gum stuck on some approaches. I have addressed this at times, but

Staff is extremely friendly and the lanes were well kept. While the building itself is older it was still clean and well kept in the main areas. Had a lot of fun there and the staff were great answering any questions and serving, etc.

Great place to bowl. Semi okay place for a beer. Don't have many drafts and the bottles tend to be higher priced. Well drinks, etc, are quite pricey for a bowling alley. You also have to deal with heavy smoke in the bar if you want a beer or drink. They should offer service in a non smoking area as well.

This place is a complete rip off!!!! They overcharged our whole party for two hours of bowling!!! They tried charging us for multiple bowlers and didn't give us the all night bowling price likes we asked for. Instead tried charging us for 13 premium weekend games, and then they tried tacking on more bowlers. They also charged every party for the same pitcher of beer!! Not to mention, the lanes stopped working multiple times throughout the night, and we had to sit there and wait for someone to do their job.

Great lanes to bowl at. Lots of people but lots of parking to accommodate. Also had game area and bar with tvs. Service was ok but it was busy. Our particular lane had some hiccups with resetting pins but the attendant told us ahead of time and we didn't want to wait for another lane. Also stayed long enough for cosmic bowling which was fun.

Celebrated my brother's birthday with a group of people. The place has beer towers for parties of 5 or more people and Cosmic bowling is a good bargain. The staff were helpful and it wasn't too expensive.

We have lot of lanes to accompany a large group like field trip etc. Came here for the first time and had the nachos and fries. Reasonably priced and cooked perfectly! Yum

I've been bowling here for almost 3 years and been in sanctioned leagues for a year. The people I bowl with are just excellent bowlers. I've learned a lot from them. Joe's pro shop is just an excellent pro shop. Joe is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable of his craft. He is also a very good bowler. Gil is a wonderful manager and Brian is a great assistant manager. Josh, Rob, Anthony, Eric, Mark, Bill, Karen, Kenny, Larry, and Marissa are great people. I always received top notch service when I'm t

Fine. But bowling is expensive

I give 3 stars because the staff is great. Manager and pro desk are really cool. The pin machines, oil machine, and so on are unfortunately run down and need replaced. Too many issues all the time.

Nice place, clean, i cant really comment on the lanes or anything because i hardly go bowling but it all seemes to work. Service was good and the food that we got there was good. If you're sensitive to smoke, stay away from the bar.

The reason for the 2 star review is I really like this place. However if you get the free bowling passes be careful you can only use 1 for 1 person and you have to pay for shoes. Me and my fiance went in and where told we could use the 3 free passes for the 3 games total and so we bowled the 3 games and I ended up having to pay for 3 of the games and shoes they also took the passes. It did not look like they even rung up our free passes.

While I had fun with my friends here, the actual alley is awful. From the beginning the cashier was EXTREMELY RUDE to us. She talked to us like an inconvenience. The actual lanes themselves were shotty. We either had missing pins at the rerack or it would carry the pins from the previous player. System was useless to correct it. We had to move lanes and the problem happened at both. Oh jeez. And the food prices were ridiculous! 2 hotdogs were $6+. The only good thing they have going is the bar's drink spe

The staff are friendly and rates are very affordable (got the groupon special). It is also a great place to go w friends. NOT the place to go if you enjoy bowling and know (even basically) what you're doing, but expect to find a decent bowling ball. It is the only bowling alley in my life that I have found to have 100% plastic balls. As a result, I couldnt play and stopped after 1 game (instead of using my full 3 hrs). If they got decent balls, I'd come here every weekend.

Nice lanes with good pinsetting machines and new pins. Friendly and helpful staff. Did a good job hosting the event.

Nice atmosphere. A little pricey so try to go when they have specials

Nice place to enjoy, the waite staff was attentive....wish they had other than fried food though...??

It's a wonderful place it has a great bar . lots of dart machines ,four brand new 9 foot slate pool tables and 38 Lanes. It also has a pretty good snack bar. Love having my kids birthday parties there!

Had fun with friends and family!

We had the worst experience at this bowling alley. The bowling and food was way overpriced. Everyone got sick from the pizza they served. The place was filthy and the service was the worst I have ever experienced. I was completely ignored by the man serving food. I usually don't ever complain about customer service, but I have never been treated like this before. We paid a lot of money to be treated very poorly.

If you want good service bad good food this is the place. High quality good food and the customer service is amazing and they're wonderful with kids. Great place for family fun

Nice atmosphere and great bowling opportunities, and there is a billiards room and a pro-shop on site. The hours for the pro-shop vague, but call before you go for that service.

Came on a Monday around 4:30, very dead but workers were Polite and helpful. Though I had to go to there office a couple times to get a lane shoes and a drink they were still helpful and got me what I needed. Thanks guys

Clean and updated bowling alley. We had a large group over 3 lanes and enjoyed our time. The staff was courteous and the beer was plentiful.

The place is good and even the people working there are very nice but I give 3 star because I took summer pass and it works only for 15minutes . I was told that 3 games are free per day with the pass but I could not even see it on the screen because screen doenst show it and last week when I was thr had really bad experience as next to my lane 2 ladies passing lot of raciest comments and I told to the manager but he didn't take any action . I know they want to be in business but stil they can make everyone

Nice and clean bowling alley with a bar, game room, and retro style lanes and scoring displays. Very friendly and helpful staff. Always a pleasure to talk to everyone who works there. Always an enjoyable experience here.

Quality, clean, spacious modern AMF lanes. Friendly staff. On the pricey side but cost appears to go into the facilities.

The service was parred excellent. The facility was very neat and clean. The only problem is that climate control was pretty cold.

Very clean haven't been here in years employees very nice. A hole in the wall bowling alley was more fun to go to than an big corporate ran bowling alley.

THIS WAS SO AMAZING!!! I absolutely loved it and I for sure cannot wait to go back. I would definitely recommend this to someone. It's amazing and it's a great place to spend time with family.

great place. but its been said they oil the lanes a little to much. but once you get a feel to the lanes and the oil its a really great place. nice people. and its always at a good temp inside

Good place good vibes has darts and pool tables! I would give them 5 stars if they maintained/maintenance their house balls better!

Wow. Great friendly experience fornthe whole family. We'll be back with the gang soon. ?? Can't wait to try the weekend bowling. Pictures next time I promise.

For some reason they don't oil the first 4 feet of the lane. If you like to see your ball burn out before it reaches the arrows or get ball damage from hitting a dry surface, this is the place for you! Good luck to anyone trying to bowl here if they can't loft the ball.

Large bowling palace with many lanes. Not a problem to find couple free lanes. I made my birthday party here. It was funny, not so noisy. But they're nothing to eat but the junky food.

Super neat place. Classic Bowling space with an adjacent bar with a pool table and an arcade area. Great weekly deals. Fantastic Bartender! All very amiable.

It's bowling, yes, but the pin machines work in restacking the pins maybe 60% of the time and the food here includes 2 hot dogs and a bottle of water for $12. A bottle of Gatorade is $4 or $5. Why? Staff (especially the lady at the register/bowling computer in the ponytail is pretty rude). Bathroom was clean-ish. 2/10 won't return.

Nobody works there on Sunday mornings. There was 1 guy doing the regular counter and the food. Also to use a credit card or debit card it's a 10 minute process involving you going to the office in the back.

Too expensive for one game and shoes; $42 for 4 for one game is steep. I could have been in a movie for longer but it has NO physical activity. At least my son enjoyed himself.

Nice place to take the family. They also serve beer and food. At the time the pricing seemed a little bit High. But we had fun.

It's very a nice bowling alley location because when i came in on last Sunday to try their machines the customer service has very friendly employees and they also have good managers that solve every problem without giving up.

Great place to bowl, went with my girlfriend to bowl here and had a blast, the workers did a great job when we requested help and the place itself was very nice and had a cool bar and billiards room!

It's an interesting atmosphere and kind staffers. ..A little slow times with customer service. .. Overall you'll have a good time with family and friends. ..

This place is great for families! The only thing I would change is the price of food at the snack counter. We decided next time we'll go out to eat.

My kids and I come here every year (5 years now) for their New Year's Eve "party" but every year it gets more and more expensive while they offer less and less in return...still a fun time but I'm not sure how much longer we will be attending the "festivities"

The night bowling was awesome ?? great service, food was good I would give 5 stars if the had some music being played at night bowling

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
