Ten stars! We had a party for our little league baseball team at Bowlero Old Town. From the minute we arrived we were impressed. Our party area was decorated with a baseball theme and had our team name in lights. Something we didn't plan, but they did for us. It looked incredible! Everything continued to impress us. From the impeccable service, to the food, to the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, from beginning to end. They did not miss a detail. Randy and Mary were instrumental in making this p
Awesome fun! This is fun place to Bowl. You can order food & drinks right from your bowling game. The food was good especially the Tacos. Also the place is well kept including the shoes :-) Enjoy ??
This was my 1st time here. It looked very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh. There were only 2 other families bowling when we got here. My only complaint would be the cost to bowl 3 games. I felt it was a little high. $56 for 2 people on 1 lane for 3 games. That's a bit steep in my humble opinion. We still had fun, and that's all that matters. So, thank you for having me.
Fun times at Bowlero with my buddies from work. We foolishly think that one practice for a few hours is going to get us tournament ready. HA! It looks like everything is super clean. We made a reservation and they were waiting for us. They had balls ready at the lane and made it simple for us to all get checked in. As our group grew, they allowed us to expand into the lane next to us. It wasn't too busy. The shoes felt newer and comfy. Dare I say, cute? I just drank a white claw, it was cold... lol ?? no
Although I am not the best at bowling, I enjoy my time here with friends of mine :) the service is excellent too.
Really nice bowling alley. Clean, friendly staff. Menu is kind of pricey but. Overall it's a nice place
We went in at 9:30, ordered beer, then came and told us that it would close at 10 today. We had to leave the game halfway because they didn't tell us in advance that we normally play for 4 hours. It was like there were no consumer rights, and it wasn't right that they cleaned the place with a cleaning machine just to spite us.
I came here for a work function on a Thursday evening around 4:30. Since it was a weeknight and early, there wasn't anyone else there. My company had reserved at least four lanes for us. Like most bowling allies, this place was dimly lit with multi-colored lights/lasers and music that any age can get down to. Since this was a work function and not just friends out on the town, it was set up where we walked in and told a staff member what our shoe sizes were. We were brought our shoes super quickly and star
I stopped in for some practice but picked a bad time. The lanes were dry, no oil, so my ball didn't slide at all and was hooking extremely aggressive. Was difficult to find the pocket. If you're a novice bowler throwing a house ball, I'm sure this place is great for you. Nice atmosphere and bar area. I noticed when I was trying to secure a lane, the CSR working assumed I was with a bachelor party that came in behind me. He didn't treat those fellows very well and was trying to kick them out without listen
Don't bowl here if you are a serious bowler. So many pocket splits and mysterious lack of pin action. I usually bowl 220-240 per game. Never had 2 strikes in a row despite burying the ball in the pocket 95% of the time.
Excellent and affordable bowling experience. This place has been renovated well, has a great arcade, and they offer a full bar. A great entertainment option.
Fun place, good service and good selection of beers and food... but I really HATE the pins on the strings thing... its just not real bowling. I'll be sticking to the places that still have real bowling for as long as I can.
Took my mother, nephew, and son here. Amazing service, great food, as well as knowledgeable staff members. Extremely accommodating to needs. My son has autism and requested a song, and they played it for him. Highly recommend, very friendly, family atmosphere.
Took my son and his gf here for bowling/games on a Saturday night. Every employee was friendly & helpful, especially the person that we purchased the bowling from?can't remember his name. They shared the ranch salad and it was great - the kitchen split it for them, which was great.
OG Scottsdale Old Town bowling right here. Bowlaro polished it up with a neon disco vibe. Fresh arcade/bar area. Food is on par. Everyone is friendly, and the service is efficient. I wanted to steal the shoes (they had my cc tho). The only thing... those pins, balls, and alleys seemed a tad worn and/or warped. Maybe the same we used twentyish years back!? A good time was had by all!
This is the best place , I will come back here again with my friends. The best staff, I recommend it!
Great place and great service. Came out with my family, and from the very first meeting with the staff I was impressed. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Met the manager Noah, and he made us feel very welcomed, and since it was our first time there, he took time to help with all the requests. Thank you Noah once again, and we will be definitely will come back again
Pretty standard bowling alley 24 lanes. Great staff. Only 3 choices of balls
Best Bar Food I've had in a very long time! Super clean and enjoyable atmosphere! The service was amazing!
We had a team outing and the event couldn't have been better! The staff was AMAZING and friendly. The service was prompt! We enjoyed a variety of food, and it was all great. I would HIGHLY recommend doing a team event here (or fun with family/friends too)!
Summer pass.. great deal. The lqnes are all new. Bar tender super nice and attentive.. also awsome tats.
The manager here needs to be fired immediately. I was charged over $100 for 3 games of bowling with 2 people because he did not inform us of their policy. We added our names twice as a joke (one was our normal names, one was our alter ego) and he waited until we were finished to inform us we would be charged double for doing so. The button to add people seemed like it was free and neither of us had been bowling since we were children, so we weren't aware of all the politics of bowling. When I explained the
We just hosted the annual fundraising event for my daughter's middle school at Bowlero last night and I have to give them a 10/10! We have utilized a different venue the last couple years and one of the parents recommended we check out Bowlero. The staff was absolutely wonderful! I was the first to arrive to set up and they were ready and waiting for us. The manager immediately brought out carts and had employees help me load the auction items. By the time I even got inside, they were already unloaded
Atmosphere and staff seemed on point. Anything that went wrong was corrected, and bowling was fun.
Great place! Had our company holiday party here today!
Staff was great, food was great but they DO NOT HAVE PINS bowling. Its fake pins on a string. Its terrible. Everything else about going was good, but the string bowling was terrible. Its like video game bowling but worse. If you like bowling, do not come here. Pins fall randomly, stand back up randomly, its just chance. How you bowl the ball has little impact on the result. In my case it was mostly favorable, but I don't feel good about pins just magically falling. This was a huge mistake by the ow
Seemed like a nice place, the manager Mr. Byrd is a very kind gentleman and will try to make matters right if something goes wrong
The waitress was not friendly, and service could definitely improve. The bowling alley was nice and updated.
I had a decent time celebrating my birthday here on October 18. The service started off quick, but slowed down as the evening went on. We were assigned the far-right bowling lane, which wasn't a huge issue, but it did feel a bit awkward.. Overall a good experience.
My 8 year old daughter attended a birthday party here. The girls had fun with the bumper lanes. The birthday package came with pizza, chicken strips and fries. The mini arcade was fun for them too. Good place for a kid's party
Awesome bowling alley in old Town Scottsdale that is fun for singles, couples, and groups! Food is satisfactory for a bowling alley, but it is the comradarie and hanging out with friends and meeting people that matters most. Clean atmosphere, good staff, and a whole lot of fun!
I loved that it wasn't crowded or busy on a Saturday night. I just wish the place was a little cleaner given there's a pandemic.
Took 1 hour to get a cup of water even when it wasn't busy in the slightest. Wings were dry. Horrible customer service.
Definitely one of the best experiences I've had in relation to service, EVER. Jordan was the supervisor on shift for the evening and he was immediately attentive to every single need our team presented during our lane reservations and team gathering. I failed to get another one of the staff members names, tall dark- haired gentleman, who also was extremely attentive and helpful. Absolutely amazing service!!! Huge thank you to Jordan and his team from the Las Vegas Ice Warriors on 1/14/23. Oh I totally forg
Fun place to unwind and roll some balls. Great bar service and the nachos were fantastic! Plenty of drunks to choose from and the bar service was amazing!
The service, food, and drinks were great!! We used a groupon to bowl 2 hours which was all the time we needed. This mega mule gave me life!!
What a great bowling alley! The staff was super friendly and accommodating! They had the cutest sign for our family when we came and made sure we had a great time and checked in frequently to see if there was anything we needed. A fun time for all ages!
We had a team event here and the service was some of the best I have ever seen. We had a waitress assigned to our group and she was very attentive. The food is better than you'd expect, the lanes are clean, and it's a chill place. The arcade is a little dull, probably would appeal more to kids. The drinks were also very delicious. A great place for a casual group outing
great bowling experience, a bit steep but had fun
If you just want to bowl go. If your hungry or thirsty do not go hear. Went with a retired pro player, I can't bowl myself, but it was real hot out. Great a/c, good lanes, good music, chipped balls, shoes that don't slide, and the worst food in the world, so eat before you go. Bring powder they don't have any. Cashiers are very nice, friend said bartender is horrible.
Clean and fun. Went for kids bday. Would go again.
Great chill freaky bowling joint with some beer and food.
We brought our restaurant staff here for our belated team holiday party on Super Bowl Sunday. I was in a league at the AMF in Tempe for a couple of years and never have I ever had the insane level of hospitality that we received at the Scottsdale location. The GM Dan was the kindest, most wonderful and attentive person I've interacted with in a customer experience setting in a long time. He was absolutely wonderful. Our server Kirby was also incredible and attentive to our group. We showed up and everything
So fun! Definitely will be back! Staff was so attentive.
This place is aesthetically pleasing for sure. There are huge tv screens all the way across the lanes. What's super weird is that there are strings attached to the pins. It messes up your game for sure!. The price is what took me back. It's 9.99 per person, per game. The shoe rental is $6.00. The first game with shoes for four people is running you $70. Then, $44 for each game afterward. *The video shows the PINS ON STRINGS. Pins that would normally fall down are held up oddly by these strings.
Moved here from another state, so far this place is the best I have been too. The staff are always so nice, and the atmosphere is such a great vibe. Thank you Randy and staff for a great experience!!! 5stars, heck make it 10!!
I paid $47 for two games for two people with shoes, and $10 for two iced teas. The bowling was fine except for a couple instances of the pins not setting correctly. The staff was friendly. The iced tea was some of the worst I've ever had - tasted like water. Didn't play any arcade games but took a look around; it seemed like kind of an afterthought. There are no other activities here. Overall I'd call this place fine: nothing terrible but also nothing much in particular to recommend it for. Maybe the price
Did it again! We continue to have an amazing time whenever I and my family visit. Highly recommend the shrimp tacos, delicious!
I'm low-key pissed off?about not visiting this place sooner. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Jacob was very down to earth and made sure the experience was top notch. Sarah served our group of 4 perfectly. Her timing was impeccable. Someone (from what I think was management) also crushed it. We'll definitely be back 100%.
What a great experience! We wanted to do something with some friends a little earlier in the evening on NYE and saw that they had a great NYE package. We were able to get reservations for a 2 hour slot around 5:30. When we checked in at the front desk. I was impressed with all the New Year?s decorations. Plenty of places to take pictures. They were super nice and very organized. They gave us our shoes and pointed us to our lane. Our friends arrived moments later. The staff quickly came and grabbed our drink
I loved it and had a great time there. The French fries were awesome and the scoreboards were easy to read. Cool place.
The manager/lane designator was a complete phony. Clearly played favorites and let someone take a lane in front of me then told me to get in the virtual line despite neglecting the QR code when I spoke with him 5 mins prior. He ruined bowlero for me. Good and bartender was great along with the food. He had me kicked out for writing this review(now edited)
I always have a blast when I come here. The food is reasonably priced as well.
For a bowling alley with strings pins, this place was pretty cool. Staff was awesome and we had a great time. We'll be visiting often now.
Went here for a work team building event. This location is very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The food was ok bar food. Pizza was the the biggest let down. The chicken tenders were the highlight with a very crispy breading and delicious seasoning. The lanes, balls and shoes looked well kept.
The great at hosting company events we had an amazing time.
They are sooo clean here. So you earned your 5th star!!!
Out bowling in Scottsdale tonight, fun night at Bowlmor.... It has vibrant music and is colorful and full of life... If your looking to kick it and bowl out with some drinks this is the spot for it.... #Scottsdale #Bowlmor
From the moment we checked in and were greeted by the manager Jordan through to the end of our time there, great experience and superb customer service. We were constantly checked on while at the lane by the manager and other staff, and the woman bartending last Friday was always on top of checking in at the right time for us to order more. Additional details such as the extra mile to greet and decorate for parties, water pitchers for nearly every lane, the mid-game cookies to even the handwritten card plu
My wife and I came here to burn some time while our daughter was in a school event. It was worth the burn. They had a great deal for 3 games and some arcade play. Good read good. Wait staff was very courteous and quick. This is a great place
Really like the place. People working there are always smiling and willing to help. The food is pretty good, so are the prices. And for $10 I played at least 30 times the pinball machine. We have fun there now every Wednesday.
Fun place had a great time overall, staff is great? with the exception of the biggest cockroach I've ever seen in my life in the men?s bathroom stall
Really friendly staff, the food was surprisingly good, and it is a well maintained facility. At $10 a game per person, I would have a hard time going back outside of unlimited bowling hours
We had such a blast with the team. Great atmosphere. The employees and management was super nice.
Great bowling alley? we had fun as a family. It probably leans more towards the party scene more than family but overall, it wasn't too bad.
Overpriced. I spent $80 for 2 games for my 3 year old granddaughter and myself to.bowl 2 games
I'm black and I came to bowl and 5 white kids changed my name to black mouse. I felt disrespected and nobody stood up for me except me . I really have a problem with this place because no employe kicked them out ..
Wonderful customer service! Very attentive to making sure you have all the food and beverages that you want. Very nice staff all around. Had a fun time.
Fun vibe, but NOT a budget friendly family option. 3 games for me and my 2 kids was just shy of $80. It's really a great place for a date, friends going out, etc. The TVs are cool (but puts the pins in the dark), the seating is better than plastic chairs in old school bowling alleys, and the music was fun. It's just overpriced for a family outing. Places that do hourly pricing are so much better for a family.
My employer rented out the whole place for our holiday party. It was a lot of fun. The space was clean and kept up. The food was fun and tasty. Drinks were cold and delicious. Would love to go again.
had a great time- very clean and the front desk staff was super nice! great place to spend a hot day - the real chocolate ice cream shake was BOMB.
Went to granddaughters B-day party there. This is a great place for stuff like that. Plenty of games for the kids - 8 to 16 - and, if you like to bowl, they have 20+ lanes. This is the old Frontier Lanes if you've lived here for a few decades. Really well "reinvented". Nice bar, but the draft beer lines were frozen the night we went. They do have bottled beer. Food is " OK" but not restaurant quality. Still, you won't starve.
Bowling alley is in poor repair. Do not take your own ball here. Prices are high, there are better options within 5 minutes of driving distance.
I like this location. I came here for a league. They have good food and a good atmosphere. The only downside is the pins have strings attached to them which sometimes keep them from falling over.
I took my dad from out of town here this evening with my 6 year old daughter and my significant other. Food was SO good, super hot and fresh. The lanes are nice and it wasn't super busy which was wonderful. They have an awesome little arcade with some games including a big connect 4 game and a pool table and air hockey. We spent over 2 hours here playing games, eating, drinking and bowling. Definitely going to be returning. Service was also very friendly and prompt our waiter checked on us and made sure we
Pleasantly surprised!! Haven't been bowling in years but came here on a date and had an awesome time. Place is decorated nice, employees are fun and friendly, drinks and food are great. More than just bowling with a bar, sports games on the TVs, pool table and arcade games. Our bartender Shelbi was amazing! Definitely coming back.
The staff was great for Christmas Eve, we had a ton of fun.
Good time for a Friday night out. Good music, food is delicious; we had crispy, tasty fries and buffalo wings. There was only 1 server but she handled the hustle and bustle admirably. You get unlimited bowling for 2 for I belive it was just a tad over $40. Had a great time, only issue I had was restroom only had 1 stall that had tissue but I assume it was due to the busy night and lack of attendants.
I liked this place. Thr vibr was cool and ee had a lot of fun. Their huge drink was delish
We had our company holiday party here. They have huge TV screens above all of the lanes. They play a variety of music that everyone seemed to enjoy. The bar is stocked with cold beer and mixed drinks. We had employees checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The whole place is very well kept up. It was nice and clean and the arcade area has fun games to play. I'm planning on coming here soon for date night with my hubby!
We had a big group go, they were very accommodating. They gave us a great price and plenty of lane for the number of people we had. With they package we got they provided shoes, pizza, and our own area separate from the lanes. We had such a great time!
So the very beginning at checkout I was going to ask how much it was for a single game of bowling and the cashier just slams me with "ok 2 hours of unlimited bowling" which I didn't really want but I just did it anyway (personally I think 2 hours of bowling is a little too much) but the total game to about $25 per person. The lanes aren't really the greatest and the balls they have are really strange with different sizes on each ball. The lane always seemed to curve one way but we got to order a couple drin
Had a lot of fun! When we first got there the system was down, but the staff was very accommodating and got it fixed quickly. It wasn't too crowded but there were enough people there that it still felt like a calm group experience. Convenient location, lots of food, drinks, and arcade games too!
Prices are quite reasonable when compared to mavericks. I mean Holy cow! 35$ at bowlero compared too $75-100+ at mavericks! So hats off too the Bowlero. Price of food is astronomical! $15.99 for 1 order of wings. 10 or 12 per order but does it really matter at $15.99? No price on menu that I could see. So I said well bowling is reasonable, food might be. Nope, I was wrong. Order of fries and wings cost more then 3hrs of bowling with my wife. So we go but don't eat lol. Keep a dominoes in the lexus ??UPDATE-
This Bowlero has the best homemade wings in town! The cook Kenneth was awesome! He came to give us our food personally and asked if we needed anything else! That was more than enough to earn my 5 stars! Keep up the good work guys!
This place is in need of some TLC. The lanes themselves are ok. The bathrooms are in major disrepair, and the games can be a little finicky. It's a bowling alley, so don't expect a lot of from the food, but I've had their breadstick appetizer here before which wasn't bad so I ordered it again. Instead of letting us know it would be different because they were out of what I thought I was ordering, they just brought out 3 pieces of sourdough toast with barely any cheese and an entire clove of garlic frozen in
We went this afternoon. We were the only ones there for the majority of the time yet we were charged for peak hours. When we left, there was one other lane with a group in it. It was $400 ?? for two lanes. We had several mechanical malfunctions in the lanes. The sewage backed up and it smelled horrible. We asked for a discount and were told no. The manager basically said do not come here during the day. She said this is a party location for night bowling. She advised us not to go there during the day and th
If you go searching for prices on the website, you may notice you'll have a hard time finding that information. I'd speculate it's because they know nobody will come if you charge 80 dollars and change for an hour and a half (2 games) for 4 people. This was after a 45 minute wait to play as 8 of their lanes (out of something like 30, I don't recall exactly) were out of order. Bar staff and front desk staff were decent and drinks were good though!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
