Great experience with social event booked for father's day. Staff was attentive and helpful. Abby was a rock star. Food was good as well!
When Bowlero first purchased West Acres I was not impressed with the management. Now they hired Michael, remodeled the entire property and it is a really enjoyable experience. I really like Austin and Blake in the pro shop as they know their equipment.
Had a great first experience at Bowlero Northridge. Their facility was clean, the shoes and ball selections were great, and the snacks were also tasty! Will definitely visit again.
Severely understaffed. Wait time to order food was over 25 minutes, with only three customers in line. Multiple birthday parties were going on and only one person taking orders and running food. This place is horribly mismanaged but that's what Bowlero is known for. Go to Seneca Bowl or something else local. The few staff working were working their butts off; totally a management issue.
Had a really good experience at the North Ridge location. We weren't able to reserve a NYE package online due to timing. I called in and Michael, the manager was still able to get the reservation for us. Once our 2 hours was up, we asked to pay extra so that we could finish our game. They went above and beyond to accommodate our request at no additional cost. Michael and his team deserves alot of credit for their fantastic customer service!
Under new ownership and several changes were taking place we noticed. Def can't wait to go back once things are a little less hectic. I think the food area will be great.
It's a nice place but they have priced the bowling so high its not worth going anymore. To bed the local owner sold out.
I have been bowling at this facility for a very long time. Was not sure how everything was going to turn out when Bowlero first took over. I will say this, the improvements to the facility are very nice, finally took care of the AC problem. I miss Jay but Michael and Cam are great and will always take care of you. They continue to make improvements to the facility and it is only getting better. The summer and fall bowling and arcade packages they offer are the best value you can get anywhere. Blake in the p
Ordered $88 worth of food and the buns on my hotdogs had mold then asked for new ones and they were cold. Do not eat here. Will not be coming back.
Be careful with the new shoe rentals. They won't slide and you could fall flat on your face on the oily lane. It's also expensive. It cost $65 for a family of 4 to rent shoes and bowl one game. Not a great value for an hour of time, if that.
We had not been bowling in years and wanted something different to do. The person who helped us get checked in was very nice and suggested we pay for an hour of bowling instead of by game which I requested. Not only did that save us money but with 2 of us were able to bowl 3 games instead of 2 so that was much appreciated. It was very crowded when we arrived at 5, they have birthday parties from 3:30 to 5:30 on Saturday. At 5:30 we basically had the place to ourselves. It was clean and the automated scoring
Managers are creepy, everything?s dirty, weird goat satanic symbols everywhere and prices will make you gag.
It's hard to even put into words how amazing our experience was. We came in for my nephews birthday to bowl. I hadn't had time to make special birthday arrangements..My nephew bowls on the special olympics team as he has down syndrome. The staff there went overboard to make his birthday so great with all the extras!! They made his day & all of our day so special!! They showed so much love and kindness!! We will schedule lots of future holidays and events with this bowling alley because they care about pe
Prices are absolutely horrific, 5.09 for shoe rental is absurd. Even if the games are cheaper you're still paying way too much. The nachos are gut-churning and I won't be back unless they change new management. It is inexcusable!!!
Had a great time with my granddaughter and her boyfriend and friends!
Bowling with bar and food. A few arcade games. Staff was nice and helpful. No smoking. It was very busy and we didn't get a table at our lane because the ppl next to us took all the space but no big deal. The bar has KARAOKE on Saturday. Fair prices.
We had a good time bowling. The updates made are nice. The pricing is somewhat reasonable. I only experienced, one issue with charges and they worked with me to resolve the issue. Thanks for reaching out, understanding and taking the time to help me. A huge thank you to all who helped. You're greatly appreciated. Look forward to bowling and enjoying a game with in the future!
The management, staff, and overall service at Bowlero Northridge is outstanding. The team really goes out of their way to ensure that the guest experience is top notch. Thank you Jay and crew for everything you do!
Wow! ?? I am blown away of the AMAZING customer service we received by Jay the manager! We were rained out of our event and Jay turned our night around. You can really tell he enjoys what he does ?? We are group of Colombians and Peruvians and he put the background of our game as the flags of our countries! ???? ???? Best service I've ever had at a bowling alley and definitely will be back ??
Took my daughter here for her birthday and had such a great experience with the staff. They really cater to us and made sure we were doing good the entire time. Had such a great time. This is one that I will remember for a while!
I was lied to! I was told over the phone it would be a 10 minute wait and it was clearing out! That when i got there i should get right in! I waited 45 minutes playing in the arcade before i gave up and left
Interesting experience You wouldn't believe how many people smoke crack in the bathroom between frames
Went with co workers. Great family atmosphere.
The awesome crew at Northridge took care of us even while getting ready for a big tournament the next morning and let us finish our last couple of frames past their closing time. The lanes here have a bit more friction compared to Northrock so just need to make adjustments in your game accordingly. The bowling score screens and systems could use an update as they are pretty dated.
My favorite and I went for the first time, and had a great time. The staff there were beyond kind to us on so many levels. They definitely went above and beyond. I highly recommend this spot.
Prices for bowling and food are way to high, they think we are gonna pay East Coast prices, that's why all the leagues left.
Absolutely amazing experience! Look forward to going again!
LOVED IT! SO MUCH FUN! I lover their leagues! So fun! You get to meet great people! Their staff is so friendly!
THE MANAGER THERE IS NOT NICE!! I brought my family out there to bowl, and it was a good experience. The only thing was that there was this manager man, who seemed to have an extreme dislike for my group. It's understandable because half of the group were kids, but it still did not sit right with me. Throughout our bowling experience, it just felt like he was watching our group. He asked, "Are there females in the men's bathroom?" Which, his face definitely showed anger and disgust. On top of that, he watch
My wife bowled the woman's state tournament there. It was really dim light wise on the concourse area. Way overpriced on their food and beverages. I will say the staff was super friendly and very attentive.
Average bowling alley. Drinks were bad, but food was worse than you would expect.
Northridge has put different management into place. They are really changing the atmosphere compared to how it was a year ago. The management and staff has excellent customer service.
Watched our old'st grandson in compation school bowling. Had a great time, the people are very nice. They have an arcade too.
Highly recommend the place! Good vibes and good people. S/o to J at the front desk! I will definitely be coming back to bowl here again
Management and staff are very helpful, personal, and professional. We appreciate everything they do for us! Michael and Jay are awesome!
Had a great experience bowling here. Staff was really nice and attentive. Place was clean and well kept, even the restrooms. It was busy but didnt feel crowded. Rental shoes were clean and newer looking. It was a bit pricey though, 4 adults for 2.5 hours was around 260$ not including drinks. We will go back, just not as often as we used to.
Line out the front door of people wanting to bowl and only 2 lanes are being used. Won't let anyone get ready to bowl until 9:30 for cosmic bowl. We got here at 8:30 and had to wait an hour with the lanes completely empty
We had a great time cosmic bowling (picture was taken at the end of the night and we were the last to leave this is why we arent wearing mask)
I spent so much time here growing up and as a young adult. Have many fond memories. But I will not ever be coming back. Place has been taking over by the greedy and prices are out of this world high. Hopefully you fail as a business and have to sell to someone who cares the community has something to do. Greed is not good and the bowling alley looks tacky as a can be.
We hosted our son?s 7th birthday party here & paid for the basic party package. We had 5 kids & the price was about $32pp - 2 hours unlimited bowling, 3 entrees, 1 side, unlimited soft drinks, fresh chocolate chip cookie cake (add-on ~ small but serves at least 8 kiddos), & $10 arcade credit for my kid. The staff here went above & beyond for our entire group, the entire time!!! They kept the food & drinks coming without us even having to ask. They were all just so nice - the managers, the kitchen staff, the
This place has the best customer service ever!!! Food was good and every single person working there was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. I will definitely bring my family back again. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to go bowling.
To be honest the only thing that's better about this place now is it seems cleaner ig? Came here last year around change in management. Got met with rude staff and large price increase but either way everyone wanted to stay. It wasn't a largely different experience from normal we just paid more. This time the group got split between West and East site and I had already paid at this one. They wouldn't work with me. I was hoping they could call and transfer it or refund but of course they don't do refunds....
West Acres is a wonderful place to spend your evening. The prices are cheap and on weekends and I believe Mondays you can bowl as many times without having to repay a fee.
If there were negative stars it would be the worst star rating ever. Bowlero has acquired 3 bowling alleys in our city and everyone is leaving because they are way over priced and suck at customer service. Never again
We mad reservations in advance for an afternoon of bowling. Staff was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. Jay came over to our table to welcome our group and explain food and drink options. Great experience!!
When they're bowled, a few games haven't bowled in a few years. Just started to get back into it. Wouldn't turn off TV in front of my lane that directly reflects on top of arrows stupid design to put TV downlane that reflect on top of the arrows. But had no problem, not turning on the TV for someone getting coached or other folks. But made me have to bowl with it on.
My first visit (grandson had an out of town high school bowling competition there). The facility is nice size and has lots of comfortable chairs and tables. The food was good and served quickly. Staff was friendly and professional. For an older facility, it was clean, and I would definitely recommend it!
Good place to have a birthday party. Lanes could be updated tho
Not enough front desk help on league nights. Can't keep help in the snack bar. Never start on time
Since becoming Bowlero the prices have drastically increased. The price of food compared to quality and quantity is dismal at best. The lanes break down at least once (often more) per bowling session. The fact that there are few other bowling options in the city is sad.
Very very disappointed. You run a family establishment. Meaning families are looking to enjoy a fun time. 10 people ( 6 adults, 4 children) $295.10. That is highway robbery. 6$ for shoe rental? Then 10$ a game for each person? Way do you purchase a game for each person. We had 10 people and two lanes. 5 people on each. I assumed a game meant you paid one fee for a game and only five people could be on that game. Not charging each person 1game. Shoe rental is ridiculous. I'm renting used shoes, and returnin
Great place to enjoy some bowling. The staff is super friendly and kind. Always a lot of fun.
Haven't been here in ages. Went last week for a birthday party. Place is clean and in good shape. I didn't look at prices, but I saw signs for some deals going on. Bar food was fantastic.
Bowlero is a newer and well taken care of facility with bowling lanes, arcade, and bar. The employees are easy to work with and very kind. The general manager was assisting a group with a birthday party and was very considerate of all the needs for the party.
The food was good, we pretty much got our own private lane, even though the place was packed, and it was really just my friend and I getting lucky. Some other guests were rude, but that's not the staffs fault, and unfortunately my wrist gave out halfway through my friend and I's practice tournament, but we both had fun and it was nice finally getting out now that C19 is dying down.
All we wanted to do was bowl yesterday!! After driving all around the town to find an alley that wasn't overcrowded or had tournaments going on, we stumbled across West Acres. I called ahead and the gentleman I spoke to was very polite. The man at the desk was very patient/kind and my family and I were able to bowl a couple rounds. I'd give it 5 stars but it was horrendously expensive!! Food for 5 of us that included cauliflower bites, chicken strips, pizza, quesadilla and cheese sticks totaled to $80 (coul
Always a great time at NorthRidge! The staff is amazing, and we have so much fun for all ages !
Came for a friend's Bday party and had a great time! Despite the teeming crowd on a Saturday night, the staff was courteous and kind. The prices for bowling were really reasonable (7$/person including shoes!) and it was a fun time. They have snacks and drinks available and their cosmic bowling is definitely neat. Fun spot!
Good atmosphere and great food!
I love this bowling alley, there's super friendly employees and it's very clean. I appreciated how fairly priced everything was. They also redid the floors and they look great. I like how they have their bowling balls stored as well....by size for once! Edit: I originally wrote this for West Acres Bowling. It is now Bowlero and I will never go there because it cost so much. There's a fee for food, as in you have to buy food. For a family of 4, it would easily cost $200. Do yourself a favor and go to Seneca
Had a hard time... had two kids with us- Bumpers not working multiple times. They were short handed. No one to help efficiently. Prices ridiculous. $86+ for two adults, two kids. 2 games. Geesh!!!! Guy @ counter said it would be just over $5 per person per game. (obviously not accounting for shoe rental). Very questionable return!!!!!
We had a reservation group of 15 people paid over $600. We had 3 lanes, not enough chairs. They appear short staffed as the ball was stuck on children lane and as our time ticked away, we had to wait for help. The grill was very, very slow with orders the 2 ladies were doing best they could to keep up, again short staffed. For that amount of money, I think they could be a little more accommodating.
I pray new owners don't ruin this place ??
Service still sucks. Rude guy behind the counter is rude and disrespectful to his staff and thank goodness he's not the owner. Need some nicer people working especially when you hold school events.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Super slow service but always a lot of fun. Not the good ol days of a wall of cigar/cigarette smoke when you come inside; a sea of old polish men wearing matching bowling shirts. Ahh those were the days. bowlero in stark contrast is super clean and new looking. Retty sure the shoes new too.
Why do they open so late? Prices are absolutely outrageous. I went in there all the lanes were empty and they said I could not have a lane because I did not reserve online. I am in a bowling league there but considering moving.
Absolutely FUN! We had a blast! There was a problem with the scoreboard and lane...the staff fixed it and compensated us for it. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Great place to have fun with a group of ppl! Get there early though! It was packed 30 minutes before lanes opened!
Nice place to bowl and friendly atmosphere.
Great family fun for all ages. The people who work here are friendly and helpful! And the place is clean with well kept restrooms. For younger bowlers there are small pound balls, guard gates for the lanes, and fun dragon shaped "slides" to help assist rolling the bowling ball down the lane. There are basic foods/snacks like hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza etc. Soda and beer. I've been going here for years and have always enjoyed this place.
Awesome family fun, fair prices, decent food and friendly staff. We will definitely go again!
They were so nice to us as a party for an 8 year old girl. Let us parents have a game for free afterwards. Definitely coming back
West acres is a great bowling alley that I've been going to since I was a kid! Most recently, we went with the family during their cosmic bowling during the day. They price is extremely reasonable and the kids love it! Their concession food is okay. It's not restaurant quality but the kids like it and you can't really mess up nachos! They also sell pitchers of beer so there's options for everyone!
This place let's grown men use their women's restroom! Watch kids at all times. This is not a family friendly alley. Disgruntled amateur bowlers will harras you to get out of their way. Happened twice in one visit on a Saturday night. Terrible alley.
I had a small birthday party here and it was great. There was a minor set back and they resolved the issue right away and accommodated our needs. Not to mention it was my first time at West acres. Loved it. We will be going back.
Tried this place for the first time, clean, but equipment problems right off the bat. Had to reset the pins multiple times and still didnt work, stood in line for about 15 mins being there just didn't seem to be enough staff after trying to reset for about 10 mins. Then it finally got fixed, then threw the ball once and the ball gets stuck, waited and waited. Took another 10 mins to get that fixed... just not impressed. Expensive and no refund for this ongoing problem? Completely lost the game momentum an
They went above and beyond for our group. Offered to let us stay later to finish our last game. I like the changes to the place. Our kids had a great time too.
Took my family here for an evening of bowling . It was an all-around great experience. From the moment we walked in and the staff greeted us to looking around and it being completely full except for the last two lanes the place was extremely clean. Not only the staff was attentive, every time my daughter got the ball stuck in the gutter in the bumpers the young man came down probably eight different times each time with a smile on his face and said not a problem as we apologized over and over. I'm just exc
We had a work function at West Link's with bowling, food, and drinks. Everything was top notch.... until next morning when I received an email from my Amex card reporting multiple online charges. Obviously I don't use my business card to buy items at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and some shop in Charlottesville, VA. I was able to dispute the charges but wanted to take the time to go to West Link's to let the manager be aware she has a thief as an employee. She took my information and said she will look into it. I h
Great place, my family love here. Staffs are really nice especially to Denise in the food service, I sprained my finger and she noticed me using the ice in my drinks to help with the pain and she nicely approached me and ask if I needed an ice bag and she gave me. Good job!
Very accommodating! I'm disabled so staff asked some folks to scoot down a few lanes so we didn't have to wait for the accessible one. Only complaint was that it was pretty hot. Not much air flow until we turned on an extremely loud, oscellating fan 3/4 the way through bowling our 2nd game. Good food ?? Had a blast.
Sunday was all you can bowl for a flat fee per hour and we loved it. We paid for two hours and really only wanted one so they gave us our money back after one hour and even let us finish our game. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Not a super fancy place but I'll bringing my family back here when we want to bowl.
We had our daughter?s birthday party there today. I called ahead an asked it they would honor a certificate for a free bowling party that expired during the initial break out of COVID 19. The manager said yes, an so we scheduled the party for today. The staff was very professional an helped make my daughter?s party a success. Thank you so much!
Went bowling on Saturday. Had a group of six. Four adults and two young boys on adjacent bumper lane. First game started at 9pm and we stopped bowling at 1125pm. They charged us for 28 games. The boys played 5 games on bumpers and we played 3 games and two frames on a 4th game, before we were ready to leave. Total receipt was $264 for us all upon check out(bowling only). We also payed for food and drink. Needless to say, this once great bowling alley has been bought out by thieves. Bowled here my whole life
We took our fathers for father's day and they had a blast. The people there were very helpful and extremely nice! The food was good and they even have great tasting keto pizza. Yum!
This place used to be very fun and entertaining, somewhere I would take my friends and family. A new company took over this alley and is now charging much higher prices than before. It's around 60 dollars for 4 people to play two games of bowling now.... As someone who doesn't have unlimited funds when it comes to having a fun night out, it's hard for me to say that I'll ever go back.
Had seen their Facebook pictures for West Acres Bowling and all of the pics were of ANOTHER bowling alley. West Acres doesn't have the comfortable bench seating, nope still has the plastic seats. Was looking forward to the new bar but NOPE, those pics were of another bowling alley too.
Bowlero has ruined this center. They are doing everything they can to drive leagues away. Under Ray's management, every lane was filled all evening all week long, and many mornings. Most leagues have moved away this year and if they could the rest would leave too. And their open bowling and party prices are outrageous.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
