Super cute bowling alley. Recommend making your reservation online. It made the check in process super smooth. Walked in got our lane. I loved they had a server for us who came got out food and drink orders. Lots of options on balls. Good music. Family friendly. I been looking for another bowling alley besides country club and this was perfect. Even had an arcade for my kids.
Fun place. Good pricing. Their yearly pass is a great deal, buy it! Food is good. Nice arcade.
They have these dinosaur slides for kid's to bowl with. My son definitely enjoyed his first time bowling and checking out the arcade area next to the entrance. The staff was very helpful when the ball got stuck on the lane and did not take long. The only thing we didn't care for was trying to take a picture out front by the sign to mark my son's first time. The staff and others were smoking under their sign in rotations.
I was at Bowlero today with a large group of people. Jose G did an amazing job of helping us for 2 hours. He was in charge of multiple jobs ? shoes, helping us when we needed help with the scoring, taking care of any problems that happened on the lanes, and food. He was cheerful, polite and kind the entire time, even though he was being pulled in so many directions! I just wanted to say he did a marvelous job in a very difficult situation! Thank you!
Such a fun vibe!! The employees were incredibly friendly and attentive. They took great care of my friends and I! We will definitely be back. Great place to bowl in a laid back environment, and the food was SO GOOD! The fries, funnel cake fries, and pretzel sticks were delicious. So were the alcoholic drinks! I got the drink called ?boarding pass? and I felt like I was on vacation :)
Bowling Ally was clean and cool. We had a birthday party there. They decorated the area for us. Too cool! Wasn't expecting that. Really nice. Balls were okay, getting old but rolled!. Lanes were nice. Still old school pins and not on strings! Shoes were okay. Staff was awesome. Polite and and helpful.
Great bowling place! great for families or friends. Friendly staff and clean building.
Pretty nice Bowling Alley! The prices for bowling were affordable. They had 50% discount today. The only thing I would have a small issue with. It would been nice if the person at the front desk that took care of us would been bit more kinder and smile more. But other then that I have no complaints overall good experience!
Bowlero was an awesome bowling experience. We reserved a lane ahead of time and had a pitcher of beer from the bar. The building is kept clean and the staff is very helpful. The atmosphere was positive and friendly. This is a great place for a date or fun time out with the family.
Our company had its holiday party at this location last night, and it was amazing. Melinda and her team went above and beyond our expectations. The set up was beautiful, and they even added some decor to match our holiday theme. The staff, service, food and drinks were great, and all of my employees had fantastic time. Thank you to Melinda and her team at North Sacramento Bowlero!!! You guys are great!
Awesome place to be with friends and family. I personally look for places where me and especially my kids would have fun and BOWLERO has it all. Here few pics. Places is usually clean and the employees very friendly too. The restroom were also clean and well maintained.
Nice clean bowling alley. 50 lanes total with 40 lanes on one side and 10 on the other- nice for private groups or parties. Modern TV screens and we didn't have any malfunction on the scoring. Friendly staff. Love that their seating area is perched up and they also have a standing area between the balls and the seating area with is an extra bonus. They have these red lights which kind of gives it a retro vibe if you're into that but I'm not a fan of it. Also bathroom needs a bit of update. Good bowlin
Food, bar and arcade were great. Busy Friday and we had problems with our lanes cycling and shutting down but still a very fun night out. They added time to help make up for the lost time for the lane issues.
Due to COVID-19 the guidelines were enforced. The building was clean. Food looked good but I didn't eat any. A lot family fun and laughter present
Ken is a fantastic, patient and very attentive General Manager. Plus the crew is amazing. We love bowling here.
I had an amazing experience and time there cause of Alisha she welcomed us in once we entered the ally, helped us out and made me and my fianc? experience so amazing I would definitely go back again!!
Rude staff at check in, not enough staff, and disorganized. Honestly just dont bowl here. It took us 30 minutes to be able to start bowling due to the machine not working. Then We had 4 or 5 malfunctions in the span of one game. Waited 10- 15 minutes for them to be fixed each time. In 3 hours we only were able to bowl a game and a half. Bowling shoes were in bad shape. The worst bowling alley ive ever been too.
Very poor service. Not recommended. Don't buy the Groupon. It's not a good idea ??. Pretty much ruined by grandson birthday party
Dude! The New Year's Eve party that they set up for us was great. The food was better than some restaurants, considering that food is not the primary purpose of their business, that's some good food.
Super nice bowling alley! The food is solid and the drinks are great for a bowling alley! The service was also great! Had a great time and the prices seem very reasonable!
Updated locating, lots of lanes, and clean when we were there.
Bowlero has bought up all the AMF bowling alleys. The improvements are coming along nicely. The bartender is fabulous, he was very personable. On Tuesdays, the drink specialities are only $2.22 for a long island ice tea and Mai Tai. This is a great date spot. Since you can bowl as slow or as fast as you want to. IG:SACRAMENTOHONEY
A big thank you to all the staff! It was my son's birthday, and unfortunately, the guests couldn't make it. The staff surprised us with a gift and offered such kind birthday wishes. The place itself is amazing ? clean, with a great selection of arcade games and plenty of bowling lanes. The couches are also very comfortable. Highly recommend this place!
?? Had an absolute blast at Bowlero tonight celebrating my anniversary! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with fantastic service and a lively atmosphere. The lanes were well-maintained, and the drinks were top-notch. ???? A special shout-out to Chris and Ella for their outstanding customer service! Chris made sure we had everything we needed to ensure we had a great time. Ella was incredibly attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a fun night
Came here to bowl. Had a few games for like $7 because of a promotion they were doing. Amazing experience! I didn't win any games but I had a ton of fun!
It's a good spot, vibes are good but we kept having issues with our lanes. The issue being that we had like 7 balls Total and it would constantly get stuck and not give the balls back. But other than that it was fine.
I love bowling at North Sacramento Bowlero. The lanes are plentiful and top notch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And the facilities are clean. When Landpark Lanes closed there was an influx of leagues at this alley, so unless you're in a league it is sometimes difficult to get a lane. It's best if you're there right when they open.
Very new and nice and clean. Make reservations to guarantee a lane.
We were here for the first time. Lots of available lanes. It was fun. But it was very frustrating that all the balls were slippery and greasy to the touch, they slipped out of our hands, there was a towel, but we had to take our sanitizer from the car and somehow wipe them. It was also difficult to find balls larger than xs and small. Cocktails at the bar are more like lemonade than an alcoholic cocktail.
My first time at this bowlero and definitely not coming back. The white guy at the counter definitely hates his job and didn't talk or greet us when paying for the bowling. The whole interaction was weird, he seems miserable. I'd rather go to lazer x for the customer service alone.
Dear Bowlero Management. It's 2:50 pm on Saturday December 10th. While the staff as a whole are great. My friend and I are curious why we are on a wait list to bowl since almost no one is bowling (only 7 lanes out of 40 being used). Thoughts?.?
The staff here were pretty rude. A waitress would tell us she would bring us drinks and made us wait thirty minutes before we had go to the bar to grab something. The bartender looked miserable taking our order and it was just an awful time all around. The male bartenders were really cool but other than that it felt like a nuisance being there. I don't know if the waiting staff thought since it was her birthday she didn't need to help but I really regret coming to this location. The staff in Chico were much
My family came here for a birthday celebration and we were treated excellently by the staff. Very friendly lanes were clean not crowded and they have a pool table and small arcade that was very up to date. The food was good and the bar is decent.
We enjoy going to bowler with the kids. It's a fun environment and kid friendly and the staff members seem happy to be there.
Nice place. First time here but it seems they are keeping things in good shape, the lanes are well kept and there's plenty of options for food if you get hungry.
Machines kept breaking on our lane but besides that lanes seem smaller than normal
My family's new go-to spot for Bowling.
Filthy restroom but great mixed drinks. Bowling balls return sticky
This place is awesome. I loved the set up. It was clean, the staff was helpful and the lanes rolled well.
False advertising when booking online they give you 2 options only for group events 2 or 2.5 hours and when youre done paying it automatically shows 1.5 hours on your receipt! Spoke to management nothing was done. We asked for the far right lane they told us the lane was broken, 30 minutes later the lane was open and given to a group of white people. First and last time never going bowling there again
Reserving lanes is kind of a scam. We reserved a couple lanes for a bday party. Paid $226 for them for 2 hours for 10 people. Which is already not cheap. When we showed up we ordered food. When the bill arrived it was janky, the itemization on it was odd, not things we had ordered but it kind of added up? Then we noticed there was a $48 service charge on the $120 or so in food and drinks (bringing it to $168). When we asked the server she told us that because we ordered food it was an event fee. She was
Recently, I went in and I have a recently expired Groupon. And I was really bummed about it and figured that I was going to be at a loss and not be able to receive certain things from the Groupon. Which is my own fault I guess because when we had tried to go, circumstances just didn't work out that day. But alas, I spoke to two employees, one I believe was a manager named JB and I want to say the young ladies name is Cierra? I'm upset at myself for not remembering her name but JB would remember her name if
Bowling is fun, and I highly recommend taking advantage of the Groupon deals available, as they offer great value. However, I would like to caution you about the arcade section. I decided to purchase a $5 card just to try it out and was surprised to find out that there was an additional $3 service fee. This fee represents a 60% markup on what I initially paid, which seemed quite steep. So, while the bowling experience is enjoyable, be mindful of the extra charges, especially in the arcade area.
Lanes are always freezing. We had to wait an hour for our food
This is a review of a party booking for 7 people. The lanes here are filthy, I attached a picture of what my ball looked like after a night of bowling, this was after scrubbing off the top half of it. I can't imagine what the house balls are like, I clean mine after every time I bowl, who knows how often those get cleaned. It wasn't physically damaged though. The check in staff was nice, they were swamped around our check in time so it took a minute to get set up but they were going as fast as they could.
It would be nice if they answered their phone or responded to emails.
Bowling alley is solid. Food is mid. Beer selection is low mid. Only 1 IPA. Other near by options available.
Way overpriced bowling not worth your money. The bowling lane conditions were awful, you can tell they haven't oiled it in ages! If you are just trying to get out and bowl, I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I bowl here on the Saints and sinners League Wednesday nights and love it
had a nice time with family here ??
Great service, not too crowded, has a separate section for kids to have bowling parties, have Groupons all the time, and great weekday specials - always enjoy bowling here!
Staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Bathrooms were disgusting and looked as though they haven't been cleaned in months. Gave us a lane, and as they were giving us shoes, decided to give our lane to completely somebody else and told us to continue waiting even more after we have already waited for 2 1/2 hours
We had a wonderful experience celebrating our daughter's birthday with a few friends at Bowlero. We booked a lane with bumpers, shoes, food and drinks in advance and everything was ready to go when we arrived. The manager and staff were attentive and helpful and the food was great! Facilities were clean and everyone had a great time. Thanks, Bowlero!
I came here A few months ago and I would never come back. I came with A party and they gave us. A paper to fill out for the payment and I filled it then cross it out and pay with cash. And they still charge me but the charge me twice and I called to figure out why. And they told me two people Didn't pay and when I ask them who it was they didn't know who it was and they gave me the runaround?and told me the manager would give me A call l. when she can and never Did and when I tried to call them again Few d
You'll spend a grip at this place but it's got all the right stuff. Pizza and a pitcher was decently priced. Kids pizza was pretty good. Arcade was interesting... Some of the games need attention and the prize machine was hit or miss. Some of the prizes were not what they said they'd be. All in all four people 3 games, some arcade credits and lunch for everyone was a little over 100 dollars. Try and get the Groupon. It'll help.
Usually one of my favorite places to hang out , but the last two times we went it's been pretty crummy. First problem I went to just get an order of mozzarella sticks I waited over an hour and never got them. I went up twice and the kid told me he keeps forgetting to cook them and it will be two minutes. 30 minutes later I ended up have to get a refund because we were leaving and he admitted he forgot my order again. I thought it might have just been a bad night because it was busier than normal. We ca
GM Melinda and her team have set the bar for me. Every time I walk into this establishment, I can expect exceptional service, from friendly faces and great drinks to consistent food. They cater to all, from a big party to a big league. As a league bowler, they take care of their lanes. This means they use oil AND take care of their league members. This is truly the house for you.
Bowlero used to be a good place to bowl with good deals and good opportunities for everyone. They now have unlimited bowling every Tuesday starting at 7 (Fridays at 10), but they have leagues going on using every single lane in the house until 9-930. This then allows for casual bowlers to only play for an hour, hour and a half max. They need to learn how to manage their lanes and times better so that non-league players can also enjoy bowling. I talked with an employee there before about wanting to try to ha
I looove this Bowling alley! Such a great vibe! The food is always delicious & the drinks are even better! I recommend the "strawberry fusion" & "watermelon splash" guzzlers!!! They are non-alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy! Reserve your lane TODAY!
Had a kid?s birthday party here and they wouldn't even give you a pitcher of water. They said corporate doesn't allow them to give out a pitcher of water. They offered tiny cups of water that you have to keep going back to ask for a refill.
Favorite place to go ! Always busy though due League most days but get there early and it should be too long if a wait to get a lane ! Food really good drinks amazing!!
Really fun place. Had my son's 8th birthday here and it was fantastic. The food was better than expected and the service was great. Felt a little bit understaffed but everyone was working so hard to the experience great for us. I will definitely be back and I definitely recommend Bowlero over the competition in the area.
So we had a date night here with friends and LOVED our time. Our waitress Marina greeted us at our lane and despite working up front ran over to help us with our food order. We may have been a little loud but cant beat the awesome drink deals on Sundays. She was of the best spirits and made us feel at home. Hope to see Her every Sunday! We love you girl!
I bowl in a league here once a week for fun, good times.
Sorry, i had a fun time bowling and playing the games. it was just the atmosphere, I don't like the screens at the end of the lanes playing continuous videos. I'm going to change it to a 3 maybe 4
I pre-cold in advance to see if I could bring my wife cake and pizza and I was told I could and then whenever I arrived I was told I couldn't bring the pizzas in so I was stuck with six pizzas out in my car and I was forced to buy their 25.00 pizzas they should be on the same page they should not be telling people that they could bring food and if they can't my point is I had $35 of Little Caesars Pizza go to waste and Little Caesars Pizza taste much better than theirs did
Every bowlero I've been to is the exact same, they look nice but they literally rob you with their prices. I got a beer and a whiskey and it was $25! I could go to fireside lanes and get a better pour and the same beer for half of that, I won't even get started on the cost of bowling, it's absolutely ridiculous.
1st time bowling their. Staff were friendly at front desk. Atmosphere was chill. Chris was checking in with us on our bowling lane seeing If we wanted to order food. Lots of lanes..
Why offer a Groupon if you aren't going to honor them, and also stop allowing Groupon to be used after 6pm? The food service took about 35 mins and by that time it was time for me to leave...unorganized, not really any place to sit when having to wait. I def won't be coming back here...read other reviews before coming here...
Bowling was fine, food was awful! The person behind the counter literally forgot about our order, was going to charge us $7 for 1 TACO, even though it was 3 for $3.33 night. When the tacos did finally arrive 45 minutes later and 2 trips to see on the progress of our order on a slow Tuesday night they had meat and a mountain of sour cream. Nothing else. They were awful. So come hang out for the bowling, don't count on getting a decent snack or meal with it.
Best bowling alley we have found in the area so far and really clean. Our server, Chris, was super friendly and helpful!
The bowling alley is so much nicer and the service is way better than it used to be. Although we received a few free token cards, I gave 4 stars only because the arcade did not have reward tickets in the machines. The kids were given a party pack which I thought was fantastic.
Came here today to celebrate my son?s 13th bday with the entire family. We've gone to other bowling alleys to celebrate in the past, but this is our first time in Bowlero. We had the best experience. From the moment we checked in, getting our shoes, ordering food, setting up our lanes, the customer service was fast, easy and super friendly and courteous. The food was great and place was clean. I was very impressed with how the manager in charge was attentive to our needs. The best part was when we were ope
Incredibly nice place. We had a birthday party there with 20+ people. The staff were INCREDIBLE and super accommodating. The place itself is super clean and we'll kept. Love the large TVs at the end of the lanes. Highly recommend checking this place out!
I went here for the first time with my children and met up with a few friends. Back in the day. This used to be called Mardi gras bowling. You can see the area that was the original bowling alley and then they've expanded and added many more lanes. There is an alcohol bar and a snack bar where you can get some foods. They have a small video arcade where children can earn tickets to redeem for really small, cheap prizes. I don't that I will return to this bowling alley. The prices were pretty high in my opin
I WOULD have given this location a 4/5 star review because the staff is awesome. However, due to the fact that they randomly took away their weekly specials (ex Tuesday night special) but still have it up in their website is real false advertising.
Love this place, but it used to be almost impossible to get any food at the snack bar. They had more employees working yesterday. There was a bit of a wait to place our 1st order, but the 2nd time went perfect. Food was delivered to our lane and was yummy. Equipment always seems to work well.
Am here atm..(1st time here)...this place is nice but the ladies bathroom is not upkeep with soap to wash hands and not toilet papers and no paper towels to dry hands. It's a good crowd for a Wednesday night and only one bartender. ??
I reserved a 13th birthday party for my niece and everything was exact what I paid for. JB was the only manager working for hours so he was doing birthday parties and the car tender and handled it with so much grace . The food was pretty good the cook was so nice and professional . I will highly recommend
This bowling alley is junk....complete junk....wore out equipment...won't be back after this league is over
I had the most amazing experience at this establishment today. I just had my second child 3 months ago and haven't been out with my children much since. I decided to take my son (4 years old) to bowl and play some arcade games. We walked in with my 3 month old screaming and I was already stressing, the woman at the front didn't even flinch and helped me get our lane set up (child ball, bumpers, ramp). I'm not sure if it was on purpose but she put us in a secluded area so I could calm my baby while I helped
I really enjoyed this bowling alley and the food. The food tasted fresh and hot. Even the chips! The best part was the chocolate chip cookie cake. The bowling was fun too.
I went to the bowlero in Sacramento and requested 3 bowling shoes for my 6 bowlers and after we bowled the manager charges for 6 shoes and I mentioned it he told me I needed to show him our shoes in order to take the charge off when we clearly brought back only 3 shoes and nowhere did he mention this rule prior to charging me for the shoes. I will not be returning to a shady business like this that is just bad business and honestly I don't think any of my friends with me will be either due to the lack of cu
First time here was tonight. Woman working the front desk was awesome. Super friendly and accommodating. All the staff checked in on us and make sure mu young daughter had a ball and a kid ramp. Will definitely return.
Staff is very friendly, service is good, but they need to make sure the lanes are oiled before league and that the pin spotters are functioning correctly.
Very nice and clean. I'm not sure if it just opened but I loved it. It was not as packed as other bowling alleys I've been to on a Friday night which is great. The employee even gave each person in our group free $5 play cards for the arcade. I will be coming back for sure
It was a decent bowling alley, pretty good food and good arcade. We had an issue with our bowling lane. The front lady wasn't helpful at all. Some young girl with an attitude. Everyone else was great, especially the manager melissa I think her name was. She took care of us and because of her I'd return.
I was given 2 tickets for bowling games because the business closed at midnight before we were able to play our second game. We went on a Friday the week after to try to use the tickets. An employee told us to wait until a bowling tournament ended for us to be able to play, using our tickets. We waited an hour. After the tournament, her manager, with a rude and irritated attitude, told us the tickets are not accepted on Friday evenings. We then said we will come back on Saturday. The manager then added that
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
