hope this message finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention a disappointing experience we had during our recent visit to your facility around 4:00 PM. During our time there, we interacted with an employee named ReBA, whose approach to customer service was unfortunately far from what we had expected. When we arrived, it appeared she was engaged in bowling with friends, and when approached, she seemed visibly frustrated to assist us. Despite my clear request for just one lane, she continuously swi
The place was nice, but the service was a bit of a wait. The food was well-done too.
This was our first time here, we celebrated our kids birthday and I can't say enough good things about this location! The staff were all amazing!!!! Shout out to Noah, Calista, our host, (apologize on if the spelling is wrong) and the staff at the front. Everything was beautifully put together. We had no issues whatsoever. We had a lot of last minute changes and they were all so patient and accommodating. Bathrooms were clean, the kids and adults had a BLAST, I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a birth
Absolutely awful customer service. The staff was extremely rude and kept complaining that we shouldn't bowl at the same time as the lane next to us even though we waited like they asked. They still kept giving us attitude for no reason. We paid for the unlimited bowling option but barely got to play. The ball return machine broke down, so we had to keep running back and forth grabbing bowling balls from other lanes just to continue. Then a few minutes later, our game just stopped working completely. We sp
Took my son and his friends here for some fun during spring break. Mikayla was great! Noah the manager was very accommodating. Definitely coming back to this location.
Very enjoyable....did not get to actually bowl this time, but the arcade was just as fun. The bone-in wings were "the bees knees" and the quesadilla was awesome. Can't wait to have another opportunity to go back. Great atmosphere too!!!
Bowlero Normandy is top notch!!! Not only is the staff friendly and inviting but the manager Noah goes above and beyond to make sure the guest experience is spectacular. I recommend this center to everyone who wants to have a great night out!
Synthetic lanes, so beware if you're used to wood. Only 1 side of the house has lanes, so if a league is bowling, good luck. Staff is friendly and food is pretty good.
This place is awesome. Ian is a breath of fresh air and Dakota is phenomenal! I will be bringing my family back again in the near future.
I really enjoyed my time here. First off I didn't even know this place existed we were supposed to be going to woodlawns AMF bowling but due to the wind storm The powerhead got knocked out so we were sent here for our party instead which still wasn't that bad of a ride. When I tell you the staff was so welcoming and so nice I was so happy that we were sent here everyone was so polite. From the customer service desk to the gentleman that fixes the lanes all the way down to the server when I tell you their cu
Just had to share. I recently went here just for a date because I suck at bowling. Came to a great atmosphere with nothing but great customer service. Noah and Gabby deserve a raise!
Do not recommend! We drove 30 minutes for the unlimited bowling deal that was posted on their website just to be disrespectfully laughed at when we asked about it as they told us it didn't work anymore in a snarky voice. They made me and my friends feel belittled. On top of that, they refused to put an intense CFB playoff game on the tv and didn't offer free waters. Another time before, my friend was bowling his best round ever and wasn't allowed to finish his last round because he ran out of time and the b
It's a bit crazy that a few friends going bowling is such a big event, not to us but to Bowlero it is. To reserve a lane is not a simple task, it's a big ?event? with a contract and an Event Fee! The event fee states that it covers items that are normal operating expenses which would already be factored into the regular cost of bowling. In addition, when we booked our Bowling Event over the phone the cost was higher, the amount of bowling time was less, then if booking online. We paid $217.77 for the 5 of u
Lane 7 had constant mechanical errors with the ball return shutting off and the pin-clearing arm getting stuck. We lost half of our pre-paid two hours of bowl time with no compensation.
We hosted a birthday party for our teen, and everything went smoothly, from making the reservation to checking in. I was pleasantly surprised by the effort put into setting up the party, which featured fall-themed decor and our son's name in lighted letters (though he wasn't too thrilled about that). We chose a package that included food, drinks, dessert, bowling shoe rentals, and arcade cards. The value was fantastic for all that was included, and everyone was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the foo
We had a great experience here! I hosted a party for my daughter. The general manager and our server were amazing. They checked on us several times. I only took one star off because our lanes got stuck a few times and the restart buttons didn't work. However, once we told the staff, they were quick to fix it. There were a few games in the arcade that weren't working and again the staff was quick to address the issues. My daughter felt so special and my entire family had a great time! They decorated
Phenominal place!!! They recently hired a new employee named allegra, shebwas such a great help and so polite!!! Definitely a place that I'd bring the family to. They also have leagues!!!!
Nice place to bowl. Wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon.
We had an amazing experience at Bowlero in Ellicott City! The manager, John, and his staff went above and beyond when we were having trouble with our lane. Not only did they fix the issue quickly, but John also took the time to show my family how to properly curve a bowling ball. They really know what they're doing, and it made our night even more enjoyable. The food was great, the lanes were clean, and weekdays are perfect if you're looking for a more relaxed, chill vibe. We'll definitely be coming back! T
I loved it great place atmosphere was good and staff were amazing
Great environment. Went on a Tuesday night they have a $2.22 special. Good drinks. We were late getting there and didn't get to finish our game, but they gave everyone a coupon to come back for a free game.
Bowled a great tournament there. Their house shot is definitely a challenge as I haven't bowled on one like it before
I'll take Normandy over Woodlawn any day of the week Woodlawn just won't put any money back into their alley while Normandy does.
Nice place: newer feeling lanes/technologies. Friendly service as well.
Unlimited Bowing for $19.00 is non existent , Sunday after 6 pm is always booked for a league. There is no spot for the special deal.
We had our family fun day here Sunday... good pizza!!! I want surprised to be exact..lol We will be back again soon...??
We went on Mother?s Day?s (Sunday). It wasn't crowded, it was a nice place to spend time with the family. We didn't eat much, the fries were hot, other family members stated the hot dogs (beef) were good. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was friendly and assisted with everything we needed.
Get here early during the weekend. After 8pm expecta an hour to two hour wait for a lane. Staff was very courteous but short staffed. Tables and chairs could use a little cleaning. Overall had a good time.
Very helpful staff, fun music and happy atmosphere.
Easy to reserve a lane online and the staff were helpful
Great place for bowlers of all skill levels .. friendly staff, arcade, lounge with pool tables
Normandy has improved. Even though Ed isn't there, Mr. John is great with the lanes and customers. Really nice guy. The manager actually will go oil lanes. I don't think she should ever have too. I still believe Bowlero is headed in the opposite direction of making future bowlers however, at least this house has turned around and is doing much better...
Clean environment, friendly staff, great customer service. This was our first visit and it was awesome. I'll be returning soon
Very expensive. Payed 108$ for 3 games and 3 shoe rentals. They have some specials during the week. Nice customer service. The snack bar won't sell anything under 10$. Dirty. Everywhere you step it's sticky.
This the best time I have had at a bowling alley ??. The staff has been nice and the place is very clean.
We had a great time bowling here. The place was darker than expected but clean. The lanes were well lit. We had lots of options for games, and the lane was customizable for each player. For example, you can indicate the dominant hand and desire to use the lane bumpers for each individual. The food and drinks were okay, but it does take a little while for them to be ready. To be fair, it was Saturday, and the place was fairly crowded. The staff were all nice and polite. We had a nice time. I would definitely
Noah made my bowling time a blast! Shoutout to him and thank you for the tips!!!
I was there for my jobs' employee appreciation event for our office. Although only half of the employee's who signed up to come had actually shown up, we still had a great time! The staff was super kind and professional! The pizza was really good and so were the soft drinks. I will be returning with family and friends!
I like this place! Even though sometimes you have to wait for your line, it's fine. You can play some other games beside. I like this place. I will come back again!
Went with sister & her grands; had a nice time. Can't wait to go again. Had a pizza, that actually wasn't bad.
I love this alley and all the experiences I've had there. Since the change of management however, customer service has gone downhill. The young female manager with glasses and curly hair has no customer service skills, always seems to be very blunt and a look of 'I don't care'. The newer staff members seem to have no sense of urgency. I ordered a quesadilla and fries and it took 40 minutes while there were three people behind the counter. It was also the worst quesadilla I have ever had at the alley. That i
Amazing bowling place, with a lot of professionals playing there, so you could up your bowling game in the process by observing and interacting with them. On top of that, amazing customer service. Recommend
Love coming here! $2 Tuesday is my jam
The manager Sam would not allow us to use our military discount. He stated the system would not allow him to apply the discount for more than one person and on one check(we were trying to pay for everyone on one check). However his employee accidentally applied the military discount on one check for two people and it worked. So not only did he lie and state the system could not do it but he was going to refuse services to me because he got caught in his lie. Then he tried to switch and say the policy will n
I had a family get together at Normandy lanes and everyone had a blast. I was pleasantly surprised with the nenu options along with the taste of their food.
Awesome experience we had with our group this past weekend. First time coming as it was our group outing and definitely enjoyed our night. Place was well kept and we had no issues with renting out shoes and bowling. What stood out the most was customer service! The young gentleman named John helped us throughout our games and even brought us a pitcher of water as a courtesy, very attentive and cared enough to chat with us. Will definitely come back!
Good staff, ball retrieval wasn't the greatest but was fine for most part
This place used to mean a lot to me but now it's gone to hell! The manager is a disgrace of a human being?.she selectively chooses how she treats people and she hires the most incompetent employees I've ever seen in my life. Save your money and go to a different bowling alley?I promise you if you come here you will be disappointed! The lady at the front desk kept walking away while customers were in line and talking on her cell phone and smoking her vape pen?hopefully her and Cheri get fired. DO NOT COME HE
The staff goes out of their way to help you. Bartender has beer waiting for you and on your tab when in line. Food is hot and fast. Bathroom is clean. Manager is friendly and helpful with our many league questions. The pro shop is very knowledgeable. 1 star off bc I hate that the tables aren't fixed and that there is not a step up or down on the approach, any bowler knows how much that cuts down on lane debris. All and all a great time. It has that old school, welcoming feel.
I love to his place, the staff is so nice. I had two large parties there and it went so well. The food came out in a reasonable time. You can tell they are understaffed. That still don't stop them from being a great place to have fun. ????
My family waited well over an hour for a lane. We kept busy by playing games in the arcade but the prize machine wouldn't work. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and managed to get one item out, but ultimately couldn't figure out the issue and we decided we would come back another time to use the tickets earned. The kids were pretty disappointed! Bowling itself was great, however we only got a lane after noticing several empty ones and going to the front desk to ask how much longer the waitlist was
It was a great atmosphere, clean and good music.
We had our daughter's 4th birthday here and it was fabulous! The price was reasonable, everything was setup when we got there, and they helped us without any hesitation and excellent customer service! This was, by far, the easiest birthday party I've ever thrown for the little one. I appreciate them for that. I was only a little tired ;)
Only gave one star because it's required to be able to leave a review. Otherwise I would have said zero. Me and my fianc? visited this location on 2/6/22. We received our lane which was number 29. Upon getting to the lane, we noticed it was no where to sit. The people(8-9 people) at lane number 28 had two tables together. The people at lane number 30 had one table which appears how the tables were supposed to be. We went back to the front desk and notified them that it was no where to sit. We were t
We had so much fun there, and we will definitely go back. I would advise you to make a reservation. We waited almost an hour to play bowling. They have some games to keep you busy while you are waiting, but they are not cheap. I can't say anything about the food. We ate before leaving the house.
I hadn't bowled in about 30 years. Bit of a shock, blasting music, black lights and big screen TVs . But the alleys and other facilities were well maintained. And staff very helpful and friendly. Good experience!
Employees were very nice. The building itself needs updating...stained ceiling tiles everywhere and our lane malfunctioned quite a bit. I've been to better Bowlero locations.
Went for the first time last week and sad I haven't been sooner! Great specials on Tuesdays. Staff was attentive and cleaning/sanitizing after each group. Everyone had masks on unless eating or drinking. Good times!
Recently moved into Maryland and took the family here on this very rainy day in June. Mom, dad and three little kids. While the 2-hour outing was certainly not cheap, we had a lot of fun. Like many places during Covid, the place is a bit understaffed and the staff are overworked. That said, the customer service was very good. They were really helpful and tried their best at everything. My wife checked out the restrooms and said they were fine, if a little outdated. My understanding is that this locat
Great staff. Clean. Birthday parties. New computerized scoring. Lights. Music. Bar. Pool tables.
John was so great with his customer service. I joined a league for the first time and he is so attentive when I come to practice on the weekend. Always makes sure I have water and spends time to chat with you before you actually bowl. Makes the experience very enjoyable when you have people like John on Your team. Keep up the great work
Had a great time! The food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff were all amazing! This place wasn't overcrowded for a Saturday night so we really enjoyed the space. The prices are really reasonable. Unlike Mustang Alley.
Food was really bad and not prepared well. Lane availability was shady. Horrible customer service. The arcade worked mostly.
Great environment, great lanes, friendly and accommodating staff. The alleys were clean and modern. There are a variety of balls of different weights and colours to choose from. They have a nice snack bar with table service. I had apple cider beer and it was really nice. They also have decent food and a nice bar with great service. Most times, it gets really busy, so I'd advice you check availability via a phone call before you dash out. This place is great for groups and good for leagues. You'd love it :)
Staff was very friendly food was good Great atmosphere Only downside is balls kept jamming also there didnt appear to be enough spare bowls (mostly smaller) we had a good time nonetheless. If you can bring your own ball.
The manager kamil Syed was really good and helpful. She managed everything very well. They took all safety precautions and I felt safe to be there and enjoyed. It was clean. Also the food was very good. Social distancing was nicely maintained. Manager took an excellent effort to help everyone.
I was hoping to walk into memory lane and see Normandy Brunswick. It's been revamped and the machines and lanes and atmosphere were ok, not great. It was also a late, Saturday night experience with all the lights dimmed or off, and black lights on as if it were a rock-n-bowl, however there was no music on at all, which made it pretty weird. Looks like a fun place for teens and 20-somethings. $10.69 per game is about 50% too expensive IMHO
The lanes and pro shop are great. The food is good. The last couple of times some of the staff can do better with customer service. The was a lack of energy as if it was a bother versus it being a pleasure. New management and agree is a delight.
Great place for a Birthday party the staff were very helpful and friendly on 9/15/24
Went here for a kid's birthday party. Good lanes and enough space for everyone.
it's bugs in the bathroom so unprofessional. didn't rinse out the pitcher. broken table. jammed bowling. i got sick. just so unprofessional never coming back .???????
The mixed drinks are not very good, the beer tower is a fun choice if you got a few friends to share it with. The seatings are not very comfortable and it was very crowded on the night we went, we were assigned a lane that is 2 tables away from us.
Great place to play bowling Also the food there is great and free rifle on drinks
Pleasant and helpful staff. Got a 4 instead of a 5 because table monitor didn't work and bumper pads fell down. Was broken in one area. Bathroom smelly, needed a better clean. Seats very comfortable.
This is a really nice bowling alley. We got a Groupon for $80 something for 6 people for 2 hrs. This also included shoe rental. They have a 100 oz "Power Tower" of beer with lots of options to choose from. It was great for a night out with a group of friends or even family.
I came in with my family, and we waited in line for like 15 min. Just to have the lady tell the guy, who came in after us, that they have a lane for him. But then told us that they didnt havre any other lane available for another 30 to an hour. Asked to talk to the manager and he was rude as well. Not going back. Would not recommend.
They do not care about customer service at all. Manager Aniya was very rude and not accommodating towards our group at all. Bowlero should consider keeping her off the schedule for closing shifts. It was clear she was in a rush to close the alley at 11PM while we were still playing and they don't close until 12AM. Very disappointed and will not come back.
This place is pretty run down. The website is so misleading- it makes it seem like a really upbeat and nice place, but it's pretty gross- especially the bathrooms. They were SO understaffed and the young guy at the front was so incredibly rude! There were people drunk and young kids running around everywhere at 10:00 at night with parents yelling- you could barely move. My fianc? and I were going to bowl one more time, but we couldn't find an appropriate ball because they were short due to the place being s
An overall visit for bowling makes it worth it but the drinks and food are overpriced. I ordered a mixed drink and I know why that was only 7 bucks...there is no alcohol detected in the drink. ??????...and I'm no heavy drinker but geeeeeesssshhh...not a droplet was detected. The tenders I ordered were pretty good but for the small serving (no fries) and a medium tea that was garbage cost me $13. I could have ate better for this price at an actual restaurant...but again...for bowling only great place. I'd go
Horrible and rude manager, doesn't even give chance to say our word. She definitely need some training. I was literally scared of seeing such kind of people. Look at other reviews about the manager. I will never come here again.
Went on a date hoping to have some fun, bowling. We were very disappointed by the staff and their attitudes. They were very unhelpful and no one was running the food bar (on a Saturday afternoon!) . We were hoping to grab something to eat and spend some time there but we didn't have that option. Very disappointed, this is the first time I've been since Brunswick became Bowlero. The price seemed ridiculous as they charge over $8 per game PER PERSON! PLUS shoe rental is $6 each. Our total for two people to pl
Yesterday at 10pm, I and my group of friends (10pp) were there to celebrate the birthday. The parking lot was half empty so we thought we have no problem to bowl til closing time But there was no lane and 45 min waiting because half of the lanes?were closed The employee said it was out of order ?? Lack of maintenance and management Very disappointed So, we all went to the one in the Ellicott city location There were only a few lanes and people and it was super slow We wanted to drink while we were b
Nice place. Had open lanes for a last second round. Also let us get a last second round in right before it closed. God bless, Mtthw 16:26
I would give 0 stars if I could! Bad customer service, unprofessional, and rude! No respect for your waiting time, and would give your spot for someone else maybe because she knew him! She took his card from the other side of the counter and gave him the last lane that we were waiting for! Then she started to throw her lies! She started yelling! SO RUDE!
Just went here for like a work happy hour! This place is very nice, awesome flat screen tv's for scoring, the pool table is cool. Great staff, treated us very well. Awesome bar! All in all a great experience, even though I don't live that close I will def. be back.
Busy place on a hot Saturday afternoon, lanes were clean but we had to keep resetting the pins.
I am a bowler who visits Normandy often, but in my visit yesterday I was very unhappy with the customer services. There is a new young man working the services desk, who knows nothing about customer services. My visit was Sunday Jan. 3, 2016 at 3pm. Me and a group of friends met to practice, But the man working the service desk would not even take the time to do his job. We was just standing at the services desk as he keep looking at us as he talked at the food counter for about 10 to 15 min. wow I co
Love it a little expensive but great place...
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
