Had a real good time for my son birthday ?????????? we truly enjoyed our time the food was good staff was amazing ????
If I could give this place a zero I would. The first time we came up here everyone was so nice. The second time we came up here everyone was so rude. Not only did the guy double charge us, but talked to us like we were dumb when we asked why we didn't get the other two games we paid for. I know how to do math and know when something doesn't add up. Two other people had the same issue with being doubled charged and not getting the right amount of games. I will never be back to this place after the way we wer
If you're planning to write a Google review, here are some tips on how to make it helpful, engaging, and informative for potential readers: 1. **Be Specific**: Clearly describe your experience. Instead of just saying "great service," specify what made it great. Did the staff go out of their way to help you? Was there a particular employee who was exceptionally helpful? 2. **Provide Context**: Explain why you visited the place (e.g., casual visit, special occasion, business meeting). This helps readers und
Chilling with my brothers of Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Inc. Had fun shooting pool and cracking jokes.
My wife and I went there for a night out. We had a Blast! 3 games of bowling, an hour of shooting pool, and some time in the arcade. Large pizza, a pitcher of beer, and a couple drinks was about a hundred bucks. It was the most fun we have had since moving here!
I frequently bring my kids and family here, and my son loves the pizza. However, when I tried to order a pizza to go tonight, I was informed that the kitchen was closed due to a large party. I find it hard to understand how a restaurant can turn away business like this. Additionally, during my visit last week, I went to the bar, but the bartender didn't acknowledge me at all. There was no greeting or even a simple, "I'll be with you soon." I believe that customer service should be a top priority in any bus
Enjoyed the place. Spacious, clean, and fun. Only complaint would be the bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. They had bad odors. Other than that we had a really good time!
Me and my wife went a few months ago for our 1st time and absolutely loved it. Clean establishment, decent music ??, Good food menu and a fun arcade. It's more expensive than the other bowling joints but definitely worth it if ur looking for a good time.
Our children had fun and excited. Bowling lane was clean. Especially Arcade was good fair price and prize. Service clark were kind. I might come back soon and will be back whole this summer vacation.
It's a super nice bowling alley! But they need more staff! Just having 2 people working wasn't fair to them
Was overpriced for bowling. No bumpers for kids. Bowling lanes were outdated. Large screens behind lanes were nice but actually very distracting. Service for food and drinks were horribly slow and not friendly at all.
We had a fantastic time at a family birthday bowling party! Food was good, super nice staff, and with the 20% summer discount, we will definitely be coming back!
Awesome Food, Great Service, With A Lot Of Lanes With Few Crowds. The Establishment Was Very Clean And The Food Was Hot And Delicious.
This is a very nice bowling alley. It is very clean and seems well maintained. I like the attached arcade room.
Went early on Saturday night and they had Footloose the movie playing and lots of old 80s videos. Black lights were abundant. Place is clean and updated. Girls night with teenagers was a hit!
So much fun. Cleanliness. And the staff had great customer service.
It was a fantastic place to go bowling and play in the arcade. A little pricey, but the staff were super nice, the floors and tables were clean, the arcade was set up nice, and it was a great place to spend a family day out! The arcade was pretty nice. Reasonable credit prices and super fun for little kids. I'd say it's more age ranged for 6-13. They're average as far as tickets/points go, but two cards got my baby brother a good handful of stuff. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely b
Our Christmas Party was held there last night and the service was tremendous. The staff was excellent and friendly. Great place to have family fun!!
We do our company Christmas party here and it's fantastic. The staff is great. The environment is so fun. My daughter loves the claw machines.
Two churches under one roof. Freedom Life Church & Supreme Love Missionary Baptist church
Overpriced bowling and they allow homeless to come in and panhandle while you are trying to have fun with your family. Nice lanes though...
If you want to get scammed then please go ahead and do business with Leslie and Kristin. They charged my card once without my authorization and never gave me the deposit back when I cancelled 4 days ahead of time for an event I scheduled. I NEVER signed anything stating I wouldn't get a deposit back or I would have never gave a deposit in the first place. To charge someone's card again after the fact is straight up unprofessional and wrong. Scammers.
Was at the bowling alley two days ago for 6 games. Was charged 20% gratuity without authorization. My receipt showed the correct amount but the charge on my account contained an add'l 20%. The receipt showed that I did not sign off on a tip. I brought this to the attendant's attention but he said things were fine on their end but something is amiss because I was charged more & two days later the increased charge is still on my account. I'm visiting Montgomery on Fall break so not a good experience to get o
Took the kids to have fun and games and we had a good time
The prices are ridiculous! I took my wife and son to go bowling 2 games each. That's 6 games and shoe rental. They wanted $84 for this!! That's basically 14 dollar a game. And people wonder why all activities in Montgomery are dying off. Business owners are wanting unreal prices for people to go do stuff. Did you ever stop to think hmmm if I lower my prices I'll get more business??
Visited gaming arena, there aren't many games to play. Some of games were not working, we bought card while some arcade machines were asking for coins only.
A little expensive, but clean, staff was nice. Lanes worked great. Kids had a good time. This place was bussin by the time we left
Really nice place. The arcade machines don't work half the time, and I had to wait forever for any help from the staff. I also would have appreciated a more modern system for managing game info. Other places have touch screens and you can set up the bumpers for the kids yourselves. That was not the case here. And they didn't have enough dinosaur ramps for all the kids that were there.
Great place to go for ppl who like to hang later in the night. The atmosphere is very vibrant and a lot of fun. It can be a bit pricey but it's worth it!
Fun place for family and groups.
Nice and clean. My son and his friends really enjoyed themselves
Place was clean and had a lot of space for my family and friends to have fun.
Staff and management are all amazing- friendly, helpful, and problem solvers. My only issue with Bowlero Montgomery is the reservation system- it is highway robbery. Do not make a reservation if you are going on a weeknight before 8 pm and you're in a large group- you do not need it and you will end up paying double what it would cost if you had just showed up and paid at the counter. Reserving the lane makes sense if you are a small party and want to rip through as many games as possible in the time limit
Great night out with family and friends. The place was full, but we eventually got lanes side by side. The only negatives were they too early and the food was slow coming. We will try this place again.
Went to bowl with the fam for Father's Day. Not the best ball selection. Staff was meh.
Jayla & Xavier went above and beyond with their customer service when I injured my finger. Jayla was a sweetheart who sprang into action to get me supplies & Xavier went out of his way to check on me after some time passed!
I came to Bowlero to throw a birthday party for my daughter. I was assisted by Mark throughout my visit. We already had it scheduled and paid for but he was very helpful. We went over the whole party plan and when would I like the food brought out for the kids. Mark came and checked on our party at various points to see if everything was up to standard. I tell you that everything was freshly made and hot when it was served to us. We were provided with anything we needed which made for an awesome experience!
My Gson loves the game room
There was no cookers and the cashier was getting smart and made a customer mad. She raised the prices, and her voice at me. It took long to get my food. Never again.
Great place to celebrate a birthday or hang out with friends. Clean setting, great staff and fun time whether bowling or in the game room. Thanks Bowlero!
Don't not buy the Groupon deal!! The Groupon deal is a trick!! Read it carefully but the employees and the manager who smells like an ash tray don't care!! They do not care and will not accommodate for nothing!! They do not care about the customers!
Okay so i went there on Wednesday march, 13 2024 (the Montgomery Al one) I don't like writing review nor reporting people because I wouldn't like that to happen to me either but At 10:52pm (she was the one closing ) It's like the some of the employees have something going on with them The first one we talked to was black, round, and sorta short) and the other one who was rude was the white lady (They didn't want to give us that lane in the first place maybe that's why idk but there were trying to squish us
The bowling alley is a typical bowling alley/arcade. $5.00 for a soda is insane. And the food is mediocre. The alcohol beverages were water down. But nonetheless we enjoyed our time. Save money by purchasing a Groupon for the experience.
Can be a little pricey but over all a great experience
The service was subpar, and the lane we were put on, the bumper guards didn't work when we requested them. We had a toddler with us, which they saw and still put us on a broken line despite it. Other than that, it was a good day.
The facilities were really nice, the food was pretty good and the drink selection was great. So why 3 stars? Because the service was awful. Particularly at the bar area for food. There were multiple people standing around not doing anything. Food got "lost" and we were told we were lucky to get what we got. William was floating around, he appeared to be a manager maybe? But he would take your order and then disappear so if you needed anything else or to adjust the other girl didn't really know what was goin
Usually love coming here, but when I visited this past Friday I was so disappointed by the customer service from the bartender that night. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what, but the attitude and not having a sense of urgency just threw me off.
Great entertainment for the family and arcade/lane deals! We were able to bowl three games and provided arcade points for a very reasonable price. We also ordered nachos and pizza from the food court menu which were brought to the table within a reasonable timeframe and much cheaper than expected. The arcade has a variety of games for each age group and pretty good items for point redemption!
Really expensive..the person behind the counter hated her job, therefore our service was horrible. Took 26min to get her to tell us what lane we were on, after we had paid and got our shoes. The pizza was like rubber, the nachos were stale. The cheese sauce tasted like powder. We spent $63.00 for( 2 people) 2 games. The lanes were so dry.
I like the game and Place but not the service
My bestie and I came here to meet up and had a great time! We bowled and had fun then we went to the arcade and had the best time! We went to the arcade and went to get a card with credits and we got 20 credits on each card for $10. When you swipe your card on the game, it let's you know how many credits you have left. Customer service was awesome and nobody was rude or unwelcomed. The bathrooms were nice and clean and everything was perfect. On Sunday they had a deal. I don't remember what the deal was th
Don't waste your time going here. We used to enjoy coming here on the weekends. We go to celebrate my brothers Birthday and we got 2 lanes. They accidentally broke one lanes pin stopper so the manager turned off both lanes and wouldn't turn it back on neither would they give us a different lane. We said fine we'll ask for a refund. We were told they don't do refunds. We went to order pizza because we haven't had dinner. They said they're only making fried foods so we ordered papa johns to be delivered. Of c
Fun time! Great lanes, very large and friendly environment.
Really nice, but rather pricey. Returned my loaded fries because the steak was burnt. When I received them again, no luck...still burnt. I'll probably return during the week as it will be easier on the wallet.
I had to jump back on here and modify my rating to five stars. My peers and I have visited Bowlero for outside-of-work gatherings, on two occasions now. Our experience last night was made incredible because of the help and service from Kyara, Ashley, and Ali. It is the dedicated people working and going out of their way which prompted this five-star review. Even short-staffed and during a busy stage with a party of 50 to serve, the staff was accommodating and eager to make our experience a great one. After
The worst customer service!!!! The lady taking orders was the worst! Ask for something on the menu she didn't have and she said this is a bowling ally! Lady it don't matter what this is, if you have a menu then you should have what's on it. Can't sell the sampler because we don't have everything for it. Just rude. It's not what you say it's how you say it. We won't be coming back to this establishment to spend my money! Don't support this business!!!
Thursdays are league night and you won't get a lane. Super fun place though, Cool arcade and lanes
I had an awesome time at the bowling alley! I invited alot of my friends from Montgomery to come bowl and a lot more people showed up then I expected! After bowling I played a few games of Poole and just chilled out! It's a very cool family place but some things weren't working because of the storm causing outages or something!
Great fun for friends and family.
This was my first time visiting and it was for my birthday/engagement celebration. The kitchen staff needs training or something. We got the wrong food and the food was either burned or cold. Even the other staff said the cook was really slow. Drinks were okay, however, it was hard to taste the liquor in the mixed drinks. If an establishment is going to charge an extra fee for COVID-19, at least provide exceptional products so it doesn't feel like you're taking my money. Having to pay $260 to reserve a lane
My 1st time there and enjoyed it very much. Just thought there should've been more help up-front at the concession area. Took awhile to place a food order or to get beer.
Decent bowling experience. The workers at the concession left some to be desired. They didn't have much pep in their step and got pretty backed up with two customers. Also no drinks other than beer until their bartender comes in, in the late afternoon. How am I supposed to drunk bowl at 3pm on a Sunday drinking single glasses of draft beer. Nobody got time for that.
A great place to go bowling. I prefer it over any other place in the area. It is clean and all areas are air conditioned (one in the area has no air conditioning in the pool room). There is a pretty cool arcade and a nice area to play pool. There is also a large bar and a kitchen. The female that helped us was very nice. She even brought our drinks out to the table. The only negative is there is not enough staff. The lady that helped us was doing everything. We were well taken care of despite this fact, but
It was clean and the employees were nice. The prices were pretty reasonable for bowling. The shoe rental was about 5 to 6 dollars. They have specials some days that don't seem bad. There is food and drinks but we didn't try them. We had a fun time and will go back. There were movies playing and music.
This place does not even deserve the one star I was forced to give it to post a review. The young girl behind the counter was very unfriendly right from the beginning and all the way through from the moment we had the audacity to ask for a lane to bowl. One instance, my daughter realized her bowling shoes were too big so she went back and politely asked for a smaller size. The girl first looked at my daughter like she had two heads and then rudely barked at her "take off your shoes!" Okay...well excuse us
This is a fun place to go when you want to have fun with your friends or family! I went to Bowlero yesterday with my 2 friends and it was super fun. The bathrooms did smell funny and the square pops are nasty ?? but overall it was a nice experience and I would probably come back in the future.
This place has nice lanes and plenty of space. However, the customer service is terrible! My husband and I have been here 3 times and all 3 times we have to wait forever for service rather that be to get a lane or order food. All the employees hang out in the back so no one is at the desk to greet customers. We've had to wait up to twenty minutes for a lane and have given up on ordering food. Management needs to reevaluate their current staff.
It was great..I had alot of fun. I will go back.
Good time. Prices were reasonable. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back.
$32 for one game is kind of crazy. But on the other hand (likely due to the high prices), the place isn't packed with people just looking for something to do, so the atmosphere is more pleasant than most places in Montgomery.
A large house with well maintained lanes and extras. The bar service and food is great, and the arcade is sizeable and modern. Leagues are put on frequently and I'm excited to join a couple. The weekly deals are also fair, but definitely on the expensive side. If you're going to stop through I highly recommend coming at a time where they are offering "all you can bowl or a similar offer, otherwise it's going to break the bank. Regardless, Bowlero Montgomery is an easy recommendation and reminds me of a hous
So much fun! The manager Mark made sure everything was perfect for us and was so sweet to our family. We'll definitely be back!!
I arrived here with 2 friends at 7:48 pm on the door there is a sign that says there must be someone in your party at-least 21 years old at night on the weekend. One of the fiends I was with was 21 years old. The security guard let us through the door with the knowledge of my 21 year old friend. The woman at the front desk with medium length dreads decided to deny us access to bowling with her excuse being everyone in the party has to be 21 years old. Which couldn't be true because there were kids in the bu
Does not cater to their customers, extremely expensive. Staff was nice, but who pay $3.63 for a cup of ice, and even purchased a pitcher of beer and ask for 2 cups, one with ice. Smdh
We were visiting family out of town and we came here to have a fun night. My wife is very pregnant and wanted to have fun with the family. She obviously has a disadvantage and I wanted to even the playing field. I asked if they would put up the bumpers for her and someone asked the manager and they were instructed to tell us NO. I don't know, I guess I don't see what it would?ve hurt to allow it to happen. Seemed silly to me.
This bowling alley is very well maintained. It is a large facility that can accommodate a lot of people without feeling crowded. It has a modern arcade, a party room, store, dance floor, bar, and seating area. The lanes are slick and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. This Brunswick location is easy to recommend and even easier to revisit!
so my friends and I came in Monday night to enjoy some late night bowling. I am 7 months pregnant and one of my friends brought their kid. when we get there, the manager has a terrible attitude about how many people are. we also we're not told that the snack counter shuts down early. so no coke products or snacks for me or the little one. when I asked if they could do something small for me and her, she replied with a very crappy attitude that the counter was closed. also, since they were only serving beer
Very good bowling alley for both adults and kids. Very friendly staff and absolutely the place to be both during the day and at night. If you aren't into the club scene and want to take your date someplace fun, this is hands down the place to be. There are adult drinks, arcade, billiards, and it has food you can order. Need a place to have a birthday party for your kid? This is a great place to look.
Fun place! My 2 little ones had a blast!
They don't have pitchers for regular drinks. Also our Lane had some malfunctions with the pins not returning and balls getting stuck in the corner behind the pin set up. But regardless we had Fun and it was great.
We had a great time bowling with family! The staff was friendly and attentive. We didn't have time to enjoy the arcade, but did take a look around and it is very nice. We also hope to be able to order food next time we are there!
Bowling experience was pleasant. I gave then a 3, for the price. This may be biased, but I did not expect to pay $70 for 1 game with my family. To level set, I have 6 in my family. Again, I just wasn't expecting such a high price.
First time in Bowlero and first time bowling in years. Facility is top notch. Staff was friendly and professional. The biggest complaint I have is a Covid surcharge for concessions. I bought a drink which is already way overpriced and they add in this surcharge. In my opinion this is taking advantage of something we are all having to face.
Friendly staff, clean facilities. A great environment for fun during the day.
This was an average bowling experience, nothing spectacular about the location nor services provided. Bathroom was clean, and arcade games looked to be working. However, I was told not all the pool tables were in good condition. I was with a group, and at one point we had nearly 8 people in our area. I asked for an additional pitcher of water, but was told, "sorry, only 1 pitcher per table." This was a huge inconvenience, but we made the best of it. The bar also did not have Tonic... not quite sure if
My issue with the Bowlero Montgomery is less of the facility itself and more a problem with the staff. Each time I call to reserve a lane, or inquire about the unlimited bowling schedule, or hours of operation for the pro shop inside the facility I receive conflicting information. For example, today 6/9/2023, I called and spoke to Jessica & she said unlimited bowling begins @8pm - then when I came into bowl a short lady with red locs tells me the bowling for unlimited is 9pm. When I asked about a schedule s
This place is the most unorganized, unprofessional establishment that I've been to in a long time. I'm not sure how they run there day to day operations under the current management. New management is needed for this place. The lack of time management, accountability, accuracy and professionalism makes this place distarous, which makes it a strong HELL NO for me!
Really great place to go bowling. Prices are reasonable and there are plenty of specials to take advantage of. Food selections are good, but come with a price tag that is typical of bowling alleys, skating, arcades etc. Pretty nice bar and several pool tables if that's interesting to you. Definitely a top place for groups to have fun in the river region.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
