Customer Reviews

We were invited to Bowlero for a birthday party. We hadn't been to this location before. There was plenty of parking even though it was packed. I'm assuming it's because it was a Saturday. When I walked in I was very impressed by the set up and decorations for summer. Of course the kids went over to the game area 1st. The person where we got our shoes wasn't very friendly but the encounter was brief. The bathrooms were okay and please be careful of the 1st stale if it isnt fixed. Someome got stuck in there.

Been here several times, love the atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go again

Pleasant experience every time I come here. The food and drinks are amazing!

Come here with friends and family all the time. Always a good time. Food is yummy and staff are so kind.

Had my kiddos bday party there today and we are very pleased!! Everything was phenomenal from the service to the food. Thank you for making this experience possible. Will return again.

Met up with some childhood friends... and had a great time. The food was really good too. A very nice atmosphere.

Is the worst bowling area The whole place is empty and they refuses to give us two lane with five of us and i have attached the pictures I even requested them that once if there are people we would switch into one lane if needed But she still was nasty and she said I am not going to do this. Do whatever you want, is that what her answer was she's the worst person on the counter not recommended

We had a party of nine, two lanes ordering food, and one of the staff was fussing over red cups, even though we were ordering food and drinks, with a smiling face, aggressively took our cups. The rest of the staff is great. It was just that one individual. I know he was trying to do his job. Nothing against him.

Very cool, lively bowling alley with some great food, drink, and dessert options, including mixed drinks and specialty desserts like a 10" hot fresh baked cookie with 2 scoops of ice cream and whipped cream. Fun place for dates, family, or work outings.

I've been going here for a long time & I think it's a great place to have a lot of family fun. Of course there are the bowling lanes but they also have an arcade the kids can play in if they lose the bowling bug & want to do something else. The snack bar makes a mean burger, I loved it but couldn't finish it cause it was huge.

Lots of lanes, busy, big screens all around to watch your favorite teams and the food was actually really good! Usually bowling alley food is not the best you just eat it because you're there but this place is different the burger and fries were amazing!

Having not seriously bowled since the late 90's, I gotta say this place is in great shape. Nicely oiled lanes, very little down time for problems, and a very friendly staff. Food's decent too, gotta recommend the chicken tenders with fries. Tender, juicy, & just really tasty!

We started our evening in North Haven, made our way to the Wallingford location to bowl for my sons birthday. We were turned away! They said, "Sorry, we reserve the whole place for leagues after 6pm." It says NOTHING about this on their website, on their Google listing with hours and info. My kids were so upset. On a whim, we called this location and they said, "COME ON DOWN!!!" So we made the drive here! The place is large and fairly well kept. We had a nice gal check us in. She put up with my husband's i

Such a Fun experience! Beautiful decor, super clean, great drinks at the bar and very attentive and friendly staff. Recommend 100%.

My brother, nephew and myself had an amazing time bowling. We played 3 games and I lost all 3 of them... lol... but the love and laughter was worth way more ?? ????

Enough lanes and good service, just a bad experience with serving staff but all in all its pretty fun! And they have great deal on Tuesday and Sunday... So Yayy!

Best bowling alley I've ever been to! The staff was very friendly, we reserved a lane and they made it super cute and inviting. Making us feel special. A handwritten card along some coupons accompanied by a cute succulent assortment (pretty decorations). I forgot to take a picture, but everything was great! The shoes fit well on my hard to fit feet too! I highly recommend! ????

Lane stopped working not even halfway through the game

Bowlero is an excellent place to have fun with friends. The site offers a considerable space with multiple bowling lanes. Also, a disco atmosphere with excellent music and lighting keeps a high-energy vibe. The only caveat was about the long wait for our dinner. It took around 1 hour to get our order. The staff was super kind and politely explained that they were short staff that night.

I had surprise 50th for my husband here. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. The food was good and all our guests had a great time.

Lanes were good, balls could be better though. Prices were super expensive probably won't be going back for again... $63 bucks for 2 people with shoe rental for 3 games on a Wednesday too...

I hosted a birthday party for my daughter last month at Bowlero. It was set up beautifully, everyone was friendly, and we had a good time. I received a survey afterwards and I was honest in my feedback that a few things could have been done better during the party. They reached out immediately and invited us back. They were amazing and very attentive. Although the party could have gone better (and to be clear, it was not bad in the first place), I feel that they went above and beyond in their response.

Friday morning after Thanksgiving. Staff was great. Good French fries. Bowling was fun. Floor to ceiling video screens behind the lanes was too much. After a few minutes my kids didn't talk to each other, they just watched the videos. Would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the video screens.

Prices seem way too high. $55 for two people for shoes and 3 games each, but we were there in the middle of the day, definitely not at a peak period. Lanes were very oily and so were the balls. Staff seemed very friendly though and the place was very nice inside. We didn't have food. But we did look at the menu, decent selection of normal pub fair. They do have a kids menu. Arcade inside too.

Hello there again so we had a blast its bn so so long since we all got out to do something as a family very clean an great customer service. We played 2 games with 7 people at like $200 which not too bad to have family night out.

Nice place ! It's pretty pricey for basic bowling. Not kid friendly for bowling, if you want bumpers for an individual player, it can not be done. Bumpers have to go up and stay up for all players.

I really like this place, the atmosphere, the food, everything was excellent. A nice place to go on a date, friends or family.

Great place to just hang out. Good music and pretty good drinks. Could get pricey but not to bad.

My wedding was set for 7.3.21 and I chose to have my rehearsal at BOWLERO of Milford! I figured I didn't want to have an average rehearsal I wanted my wedding party to have fun, eat and celebrate. I figured that's what we were gonna do. Once I arrive I got more than I bargained for! They put up decoration and made special screen display with hearts and our names it was so awesome and so unexpected as I didn't give them any direction or instructions in fact I brought my own table cloths to make it look a lit

Bad service, they put security on us to make us feel uncomfortable. Our food took a long time to arrive, and on top of that, they tried to charge us twice. We understand that you need to pay to play, but at the end, they wanted to charge us again. Seriously? Really poor attention. It was my first time at the place, but the treatment was terrible. Was it because we're Latino or what?

Fortunately, due to covid-19 and the day being the 31st of December, the alley was near-empty, but the lanes were great, the people very nice, the beer selection varied and cold, and the food was solid! Plus, this guy rolled a 210! Thumbs up! We'll be back.

Love coming here to bowl. They have great deals on certain days like Tuesdays and Sundays. It does get pretty packed quickly. The food is pretty good and the drinks are great when the right bartender makes them.

Excellent bowling alley. Very spacious. Lots of video arcade games for kids. Great specials on weekdays. Very clean, good ball selection, great service, new shoes. Food was very good as well. Very comfortable seating. Such a fun time out for the whole family! Oh and great drink specials too! Highly recommend.

Sunday Funday What a great Sunday playing all the fun arcade games. Playing PacMan on the large screen was so nostalgic for all us. The staff members were attentive and friendly. Bowlero is the perfect place to engage an energetic entertaining family night, group night, and even date night! Enjoy!

Great spot for the family, get everyone something to eat, grab some drinks, bowl and chill in the arcade.

The renovations are nice however $75.00 for two adults and two young children is overpriced in my opinion for just one game?.also $5.00 for a glass of fountain Sprite is ridiculous.

Bowlero was a lot of fun. There is food and drinks available but are a little pricey. Staff was friendly. The place is lit up w lights and there's music playing in the background. Great for a friends night out.

We organized a group event for our students at Bowlero in Milford, CT. I can't say enough great things about the whole team involved in the success of our event. We sincerely thank you for such a wonderful night!

Good food, great service and fun for family and friends

I just had a bad time with my family, the people who work there are all dark, they were looking at us badly, even the manager saw us badly, she didn't treat us badly, she wanted to charge us more money than it is, they must see their staff very bad ?IN THIS PLACE THEY ARE RACISTS? the workers of that place very bad, everything, they even sold alcoholic beverages to girls who were not more than 21 years old, I frequented there with my family but today was the worst experience I have from there that disgusted

Always a great time . A lot of parking a lot of lanes, they also sell food.

Was quite a good place.. everything here was kind of OK, just that this place doesn't match up with modern bowling centers that have better music, far smarter lighting and then the best Brunswick equipment.

This place is falling apart. We had consistent issues with the pins. The tablet for ordering food was broken and the screens were off on the projectors in our section. The bartender was rude and the pizza was overpriced and not good quality. I was at this same bowling alley a year ago and it has deteriorated so much since then. The management needs to clean things up.

Took my family for our monthly outing and had a blast. The food was delicious, the cook made sure that my picky eater of a daughter was satisfied and she sure was? we were ready to lick our plates after licking our fingers lol. A few notable staff members that made us feel as if we were celebrity status, the way they delivered 5 star service, and I made sure I asked their names solely for this review: Tonna, Michelle, Emily, and Scout. 5 start service like that DESERVES recognition and this staff is on poin

workers didnt care, bartender was really rude and gave me a nasty attitude. came on Sunday when it was not busy and took 30 minutes to give us a soda after we had told someone about it. used to love it here. Now its gone all downhill.

Horrible service!! We celebrated a birthday here last year and repeated it again this year. Only to find out just how worse it's gotten! All but 1 person was completely rude and careless. Both of our lanes had problems consistently. Trying to get help was like pulling teeth! Management there is awful! The food was decent, but be warned, ordering from your phone or lane screen will take an eternity. We had ordered a beer tower as soon as we sat down, 30 minutes later it I had to go get it myself after asking

Crowded but fun. Food was a bit slow. Best to order as soon as you get there. Food was good.

Fun times bowling! Clean, reasonably priced, with food and drinks

Had a great experience at Bowlero Milford today! We reserved a lane online for four kids (and four spectating adults) on a Sunday afternoon. After checking in and getting shoes, we were greeted by our waitress (Eliana) and a manager (James). Staff were very polite, welcoming, attentive and friendly. The facility looked great inside, with fun music and tvs playing to keep the kids entertained between frames. The computers at each lane were easy to use for both scoring the game and ordering drinks/food. Thank

Bowlero is the best bowling alley in CT, really nice atmosphere, very nice staff, serve drinks and food, play music, have a really nice arcade with a huge plushy claw machine. Very reasonable prices. If u go on Wednesday the arcade is half off. Overall 10/10 place to have a great night.

They got summer passes one of the best deal may 24- Sept. Best deal

We had a smooth experience. We had a 5 year old, and the staff was very accommodative to our requests. Food isn't great but it's a bowling alley. We were happy with our beer and bar scabs snacks.

Bowlero is starting to show its age, but the bowling experience is still solid. I wish the food offerings included vegan options. Menu feels dated.

Would have given 5 stars but I'm just not sure I was charged the correct price. ***Edit*** So apparently I didn't pay attention closely enough to the signs posted. The prices I saw that were $23.99 with shoe rental included and a $5 credit to the arcade is for specific days. I upgraded to 5 stars! Thanks for the quick response Bowlero but I won't bother you for my mistakes!

I've been to AMF Somerset, Circle Lanes East Haven. The staff at those locations are amazing. Bowlero Milford they are terrible, unfriendly, unhelpful. Will NEVER go back there. ZERO stars. Rudest people. The woman there at the front was particularly nasty. Treated my whole party with disrespect. Don't even care what her name is. This place is in my rear view mirror.

The place has undergo a quite renovation recently. Staff is helpful and the place is clean. They revamp it with an addition of an arcade area as well. My family enjoys their time there.

Had a great time with our annual holiday party . Food and drinks were good and the bowling is always fun !

It's been many years since I've been bowling. I couldn't believe the prices especially to rent a pair of shoes. The place is decent and my wife enjoyed herself. I do appreciate this establishment honors military by offering a discount. It made the cost a little easier on my wallet.

Nice and budget friendly .. enjoy with friends right sport for weekends

Bolero was great. We had a good time.

If you have a big group and/or are willing to spend a decent amount of money, you can have a really good time at Bowlero. If you're looking for a relaxing time with a small group or a date, it's pretty expensive and maybe a little bit on the rowdy side. Between two people, an hour and a half of bowling, games, dinner, and drinks can easily be a $200+ night.

I would most definitely be bringing my grandchildren here.

Was good an fun ,an they have waiting staff that will bring you drinks and food, the one we had was very good

Great place for bowling. The food is decent, beer selection is okay. Staff and service is great. If you're not bringing your own ball, bring some hand sanitizer.

Super friendly and accommodating ??

I needed to make a reservation for 9 people so I started the process through their online website and the price was ridiculous ($500+) so I decided to call instead and I spoke to a very nice gentleman named Robert who helped me out tremendously from the moment I called to the moment we left the place. Not only did he give me a better (reasonable) price but it turned out to be equivalent to a package that included 2 snacks! He sent everything to my email to be reviewed and when we showed up to the event he g

Really pleasantly surprised going here throughout 2022. There must have been a change of staff or ownership. Ive gone here for several years on and off. But it went from having awkward interactions with hungover and bad attitude Staff to actually dealing with normal people. I'm not trying to be dramatic but there's great customer service during the times that I go more often than not. No bad "Vibes" definitely family friendly

Awesome place to take your family and have a great time! Took our 3 y/o here for the first time on her birthday with her 2 y/o sister. The place is equipped for kids of all ages, it's safe to say and the staff is accommodating. The music and lighting create a fun environment. Expensive, though. 4 players: shoe rental, 2 games each = $126. Appetizer platter & 4 soft drinks = $60. Arcade for 30 minutes = $150. This was for Saturday around 6pm.

Bathrooms are gross. Staff is rude. Never again.

Great experience! Good and service were superb! Kudos to Emily for the great food and checking in on us!

Awesome atmosphere but our lane kept having issues with the bowling ball getting stuck at the bottom or the pins not all being lined up. At one point it just froze and we had to have someone come and reset it. Overall a great alley.

Wow I feel robbed went here with my husband and 3 kids, reading the prices it was supposed to be 7 for each shoe rental and 11.99 per game we played 2 games less than 1hr we were done when we went to close the bill they charged us 150 dollars! Then was explained it was 2 games per person! WTH! The receipt reads 10 games! We only played 2 games! Last time I play here never coming here again I literally feel robbed! Even a worker suggested going to Fairfield instead...ya need ro make ur price list clear or sa

Huge bowling alley. Wonderful place for a family fun night. We had a blast. ??

Great family fun on 3/3/24 with our 2 year old granddaughter experiencing bowling for the first time! Loved the laneside food service and menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Watered down drinks. Everything else was fun

It's garbage, they are racists, the brunettes themselves are rude to a person who is Latina they wanted to charge us more money, they gave us the food very late, even other people arrived much later than us and they gave them the order first, the alcoholic beverages they said they did not sell them to minors, and next door were many ?young people? of 18 - 19 years old and they sold them alcoholic beverages, a bad place because everyone who works there are dark and they are the racists even the ?manager? is

Good vibes and the staff were attentive. My family had a great time

Staff was super friendly, and very kind/helpful- which was necessary cause we spent two overpriced hours at a lane that was constantly breaking even after being switched to a new one. The arcade was wildly overpriced as well. For a family of four to spend $100+ on two hours at a bowling alley? Meh. Clean and nice atmosphere but it was empty. Not a good sign. Def don't bother unless you have a Groupon or some deal.

Great evening with friends!!! Accommodating, friendly, good vibe. Only suggestion would have been to spread customers out until the place filled up. Other than that...reasonably priced and they had many light balls for us ladies...and kids...

Friendly Staff, Center was clean... Food prices are a little outrageous. If you want people to stay longer, lower the food prices, especially since there are so many options for restaurants close by.

We ordered food when we got there that we never received in the 2.5 hours we were there. There was only one gentleman working at the bar for orders. The alcoholic drinks were absolutely disgusting. The gentleman was clearly annoyed because he would give everyone an attitude. I understand they were short staffed. I spoke to the manager who basically said sorry were short staffed. One of our lanes broke down 7x that night. We were never given extra time for that. Food is also way overpriced. I asked for a pit

Honestly I'm discouraged to bowl again because of this place. The lanes are barely maintenance, the balls are all destroyed, the drinks taste like juice and the lanes constantly get stuck and are missing a full set of pins. I honestly might not come back here until improvements are made.

We've been here twice in three weeks and both times it took over 35 minutes to get any drinks brought to our table. BOTH times the servers said, "I'll get it for you" and disappeared, never to be seen again. Besides that, the place is fun to bowl and always a fun place.

They hosted the special Olympics Everyone had a great time.

Nice location to bowl with a bunch of people! Our group was at least 20 plus, and staff was really helpful and organized us. Groupon offer makes it a very reasonable outing for families!

Such a fun time! Incredible customer service! The server kept coming to our lane to take our orders and asked if we needed anything. incredible customer service at the front too!

I had a great time saturday, the music was A1 and my server Mikerah was awesome! She helped me get a bang for my buck (pizza and pitcher) and was very attentive will be back again!

Place is beautiful inside. Lots of modern features. Good. Bar and drinks. Games. Way to expensive for my blood. Two adults and one kid to bowl two games was $100.00. It was all over in less than an hour. While it may be nice inside , $100 is pure insanity to bowl two games.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
