Customer Reviews

I took my daughters to go bowling here yesterday and I had a very wonderful experience. The service was spectacular. They made us feel extremely special by welcoming us with cookies. They also had someone walk us directly to where we needed to go and showed us around. I surely would recommend going here and I plan to go back.

I booked a party online using a code for 15% off and for 6 people. With that discount I paid approx $170 for the party. (Prepay online) We had a blast. The atmosphere was great as soon as we walked in. They did have a line when we got there, but we didn't wait long since we had a reservation and jumped the line. Yay! We grabbed our shoes and bowled for 2 solid hours. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The guy working our table and helping us was very sweet and super helpful. ?? my son, whose birthda

Great place to bowl, the employees are always friendly and helpful when I visit. They do have a no outside drink policy so that's important to keep in mind if you decide to stop in but they do sell drinks like soda, juice, etc. I like the atmosphere when I come here vs other bowling alleys honestly. I've also seen that they offer a summer pass option which is a good option if you bowl a lot. If you do stop in they have some pretty awesome chicken and cookies too. ??????

Do NOT come for the arcade. False advertisement on Groupon. I'm not sure where the video on the advertisement was filmed but it wasn't here. It's sad. Also don't take public transportation here and bring a CLOSED drink with you for your trip home. They'll make you throw it out. We will not be returning. If a refund was available we would've already left. Handicap bathroom is locked. Asked for the key. I was told to use the other bathroom. (Which the stalls are far from thick girl friendly. I couldn't get in

They offer a groupon, don't recommend it. Good luck getting a lane. Employees keep telling us different things. You can't make a reservation with it. We came multiple days and were not able to get a lane to play. Even coming at times they said weren't busy.

We booked tow lanes for my son's birthday with some of his friends. It was on a league night and they had a sign for pur reserved lanes. The waitress was brand new but she was extremely attentive and we did not wait for anything. I came here as a little kid when it was Bow America and I can tell you they have improved the environment and service immensely. Food wise, it is bowling alley food but was very good. I highly recommend this bowling alley for any events you have.

Held a corporate event here in May which was a huge success. Already have two even larger school events on the books as well. Likely doing birthday parties for the kiddos at some point too. We love Bowlero!

Took my date here on a Friday night. Reserved a lane for a set time. Everything went smooth and great. The small details made it feel really special. I didn't expect them to do all that. My name on a piece of paper at our reserved table, a couple of free cookies, and table service. Thanks Bowlero for making our night feel special.

I called twice about the prices of the games I was told that it would be 8.99 per game I came with a party of 4 and we stayed at the front desk asking a million times to double check again confirming the 8.99 per game and were told yes, even on their front screen it said single game: 8.99 We played 3 games thinking it would only be 8.99 times 3 plus shoe fees however that was not the case . When we got to the front desk it was around 150 dollars and when we told her what was not what we were told she said w

We always have a wonderful time when we bowl at Mandarin Bowlero. The staff are great and treat us like family. Eric is awesome. Elisha is so sweet. Roger is always smiles and helpful. Debbie is nice and patient. Medo always makes a point of saying hi and asks about the family Amanda is great and makes the best sweet tea!

The place looks nice and clean. Strange choice of lighting, half was orange lights and half was more traditional white lights. There was no music playing, so that left room for improvement - and the screens across the back were showing random sports and tv shows or movies, and did not seem to display anything related to the game going on. Another missed opportunity. After you bowl you'd have to back up far enough to see the smaller score screen to see any response to the bowling turn. Don't waste your ti

We went to bowl around 9pm on a Sunday to bowl one game before they closed at 10pm. When we walked up to pay for one game, they said it would be $5 a game and $6 for a shoe rental. We later found a charge of over $30 and when we called to verify, the managers argued that we played multiple games. No body informed us that we had to go back up to the counter in order to completely end the session. Another game was bowled on our account even though we clearly stated we only wanted to play one game and we left

We had my son's 17th bday party there and they all had a blast and the staff was so amazing! Between the attentiveness of the staff, the handwritten card, cleanest bathrooms... We'll definitely be back!

Bowled there tonight for special olympics. First and last time we will bowl there. We have our own equipment and we were bowling on lane 11 when we kept having to wait on our balls to come back. We didn't even bowl a full game. The last time our ball came back after staying down for at least 15 mins they have like rubber or something like that on both balls. Took them to the front desk and was told they couldn't do anything for us. The snack bar and waitress were great. UPDATE:: BOWLERO CORPORATE OFFICE C

This is one of the cleanest and most friendly bowling alleys we have ever been to. Chelsea, the manager was extremely professional and friendly. We highly recommend and we are definitely coming back! This is our go to bowling alley in Jacksonville.

Our recent visit to Bowlero with the family was an absolute blast! From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that this bowling alley knows how to create a fantastic experience for both kids and adults. As a parent, finding a kid-friendly venue is always a priority, and Bowlero nailed it. The colorful and vibrant atmosphere immediately caught our kids? attention, and the staff went out of their way to make them feel welcomed and excited about the bowling adventure ahead. The lanes were well-maintained, a

Good customer service, friendly people, GREAT music.

It has Great balls for the bowling, shoes were easy to tie and were not slimy, Reginald was nice to me, there was no chese on the bowling balls but the Playlist made up for it, wouldn't recommend Tuesday night's if you are afraid of clowns or socks, but anime wensdays are great.

I asked to bowl just 1 single game. They overcharged my card and when I called and told them about it they said I was lying and that I bowled 2 games. Apparently they open a tab rather than just let you pay for the specified number of games and someone bowled on my account. By that logic someone could?ve easily bowled all night on my account and there's nothing you can do about it. Wouldn't recommend!!! ????

Excellent at all levels from parking to place and people. Several Saturday birthday parties going on and we'll covered by the employees. Lots of TV screens with College games across the entire alley. If you want this is the place.

Eric served our group and kids, had a great time. Bought food for kids great memories. Considering summer passes commin back with friends to purchase.

Let me start off by saying that we went during the week (apparently this is league time which we did not know aswe do not live on this side of the road). I found the new changes to what use to Bowl America very nice. New paint job and new lighting and decor. However, I will say the attitude we got when asking questions when we arrived was not welcoming. Actually we found it to be rude and condescending. This was our first time here since the change over to Bowlero. So naturally we had questions. Unless you

If you like bowing and you are looking for a place to have a birthday party, look no further! We did our daughters 11th bday party there and it was great. Our family and her friends all had fun, the food was good, they even had a fun bday table for her, 2 bday greetings and the staff was over the top nice and helpful. The price point was good, and best we had no clean up afterwards as they take care of everything. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will continue to bowl here, hold parties here

Okay so this bowling alley is nice, updated, and clean. The staff was very pleasant and I really appreciated that upgrades. The major issue I had was with the extreme pricing. $8.99 a game and $5.99 for shoe rental. I don't care how nice your lanes are, that is outrageous. Jax Lanes is literally half the price and the lanes are just as nice. We would have stayed and bowled more, as well as spent a lot on food and drinks but we were already spending $120 for two games for a family of five. There's got to be

The people that work there are very nice every time I go in they greet me with a welcome I would recommend a great experience if you have a family and you will have a great time

1) We had two lanes for a group of 9 people and bowled for less than an hour and a half, it was $211 and nobody got drinks or food 2) Our waitress named Amber was supposed to be our waiter and server for both lanes and she didn't come once 3) They put one of our groups on a lane that didnt work and moved them too lane 25 when lane 29 was open next too us, we asked if we can get them on lane 29 so they would be next too us and the guy said that lane 29 was busy, no body was using that lane for the rest of th

My Husband and I bowl here weekly and the staff is so friendly and helpful! I always feel like I'm here with friends thanks to Eric, Kori, Lauren, and Debbie!

Really fun. Nice staff, bowling is reasonably priced. Took a star for how expensive the drinks were

Such a good evening with our team party bowling. The food was excellent and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend for a team getaway or just family fun.

eric is better than michael jordan and tom brady put together. he explained how to play and was very nice we ended up having an amazing time and the food was delicious

We got a lane pretty quick even on a busy Sunday afternoon. My family and I enjoyed our bowling and even our lunch . Also came out pretty fast and delicious. Overall had a great time.

I had a good time rolling a few frames at Bowlero Mandarin. It is a family friendly alley which is clean. They offer the usual fair of food and drinks, including beer. They're prices are reasonable and a small group can bowl and eat for a reasonable price. I went with some friends and the group included a younger child who was able to have fun bowling with the adults. I would recommend checking ahead for bumper bowling, but kids should have a good time.

when I was ordering food I ordered nachos and two drinks (sweet tea and fruit punch)and fries but didn't receive my fries and it was almost $40 I told the lady to give the change to my dad as he was coming up behind me. later on in the night my dad went up there to check on the fries and she said that I didn't order fries even though her coworker confirmed that I did. I also, asked my father if he got my change and he did not. Through out the night the lane kept breaking down and would halt our game entirel

This first visit to me after bowlero take over the place really clean friendly worker really impressed .food and manager were great shout out to medo for helping put names in screen!!

Bowlero Mandarin is a fantastic spot for bowling and fun! The food and drinks are great, and the staff is friendly. Perfect for a night out?I'll definitely be back!

Place is cool, could use a little updating and cleaning it's not discussing just a little more like they care and not just doing their job and could use little updating on tables, chairs, carpet, bathroom. Still a good place to go to spend family/friend time.

I don't go bowling very often but when I do maybe once a year I come here. I don't know enough about any competition to compare prices or anything like that. It's nice to pop in grab some shoes and play 2 games

Food is yummy, prices are cheap and it's family fun atmosphere is amazing !!! Perfect for a hot rainy escape !

I have been coming here for years and even though he's newer Nick works well and very fast

Amanda and Carrie really helpful. Busy location but good funnel fries. Chelsea helped us

Eric, Elisha, Debbie and Amanda, and the whole crew at Bowlero are so kind. They are always attentive, helpful and accommodating. We have never had a bad experience. Even when we had a lane temporarily go down, they made it right immediately. Great fries, too!

Very clean and nice.. would recommend to anyone who wants to bowl while in Jacksonville FL to go here ..

This place is awful. The staff is rude and the lanes aren't maintained well at all. They either breakdown or your ball will come back filthy. For the price you pay expect more

The website says Friday unlimited bowling after 10pm to close plus shoe rental, we came Friday and they said they don't do it anymore. They put a card on file and have a giant sign that says ?play 2 games and get the 3rd one 50% off? when we closed out and tried to claim the deal the answer was ?you have to pre-purchase that? even tho we still didn't pay and we had played the 3 games. The place is ok but they shouldn't have fake publicity they won't give to the costumers

One of the better bowling alleys it's a great bowling alley to take your friends/family to. I suggest trying the alleyway sampler it's really good for cheap!

I was highly impressed with this place. It is well organized and makes like easy for a fun night. We made a reservation for 2-hours. You reserve the lane, get shoes, they came by with cookies, and even left a nice thank you card. The manager stopped by to check on us. The class seemed pretty clean and the service was great!

Amazing workers, really clean ! Bowling akd the games were so fun! Food was delicious!!

Debby was the best she really helped us when are lane needed maintenance she was really kind awesome experience!!!

Was a bit Dark on the lanes, not good for us Seniors. The service was awesome, our host for my 67 birthday was great. Can't thank team enough for party set up

Eric was awesome! Even helped clean our balls!

Staff was friendly and helpful. We purchased the summer pass and look forward to using it.

Great service and an even better time!!

Had fun good atmosphere and friendly staff, not too many games but bowling is what we came for.

We absolutely love this bowling alley. We've been coming to this place for years. They have the friendliest staff! Great family environment and fire chicken wings! They are better than Publix wings if you ask me. We will continue to support this wonderful establishment. God bless this alley????

So fun!!! Got me in and out and very affordable! Great for Date nights!!!!

Always have fun at the Mandarin location. We usually go right after school, just be mindful that you'll need to be off the lanes by 5:15 for the nightly leagues. They have bumpers and ramps for the little ones and during the summer they participate in the Kids Bowl Free program. Just to give you an idea of pricing, on a weekday for four of us to bowl one game, including shoe rentals, taxes and fees, we pay around $44.

Great service! Super fun experience!

Family of 6 had a blast! Food was amazing, service was excellent and they make really good drinks! Good time for all ages 15-78 ??

We came here for a baseball team party and it was a fantastic experience!! I worked with Melissa to schedule the party, and she rocks! Roger, Amanda, and Elizabeth were amazing!! They checked in on us, took care of our every need, and absolutely went above and beyond!! The boys had an absolute blast bowling and playing in the arcade. Roger, Amanda, and Elizabeth deserve a special shout out and a raise! Thank you all SO much!

Awesome! Reserved a table. Welcomed with warm cookie's! Staff personable and attentive. We will be back!

Made a reservation online and was able to come in with no problems. Thank you to the manager Chelsea and the staff for being awesome! Looking forward to coming again

So me and my wife and our child stopped by on the 22nd for our first time at this location. Everything went really well we went in checked-in got our shoes my wife and baby went to the area to bowl I went to the snack area to get a beer n pretzel. After giving me my beer I stood at the counter thinking they were just going to take a pretzel out of the thing and hand it to me the lady working the counter rudely said "we'll bring your order out when it's ready." I said okay went back to our area drink my beer

Very clean and helpful.. I love to bowl and they very good prices

Debbie was amazing server and I had a very great time this was a great experience

Great bowling alley, the lanes are well oiled. Staff is nice.

Went for the first time as part of a summer camp field trip. The facility was clean and welcoming. The staff was kind and helpful. They provided us with a number of ramps for our little ones upon request. Stuck gutter balls and fallen bumpers were fixed immediately.

This place is amazing ?? I really enjoyed coming here and bowling I was on lane 22 and had a really great game with my friends and let me just say one of the Most friendly, and positive staff members I ever met there was Roger He was so kind to me and my friends and always had a smile on his face when he helped us with anything him and Eric were a really big help.

Staff was great and friendly. Really enjoyed our time there

Getting better they have put alot of money in this house just wish the pro shop was better

We waited over 45.mim I. The line. But overall a great experience

Really enjoy coming here. Ive brought my 2 year old a few times before so it's a good place for everyone. The staff is very polite and helpful when we come in. The employees keep the atmosphere warm and friendly. The food is delicious as well. Manager Amanda does a phenomenal job here at Bowlero. She's got a faithful customer right here!

We went to Bowlero Mandarin tonight with a large group of people. We had so much fun. The drinks and food were good. The establishment is clean. Eric and Courtney helped us and were very friendly and kind. We will be back!

It's a bit pricey compared to other bowling alleys. The ball weight I needed wasn't available at the time, and the dip n dots machine wasn't taking my card payment. Aside from those things, the environment was great.

Great experience kind staff Debbie was super welcoming

Friendly staff. Not a huge ball selection. Seating was strange and it felt like you were in the way when it was your turn to bowl since we had a "high table" Decent price for bowling the Sunday we went. 5.99 shoe rental 6$ a game Fries were good. The chicken wings on the other hand deserve less than 1 star. 14$ for some frozen tyson wings, questioned if its even chicken. They were disgusting, weird fat and breading throughout the whole thing, made a friend nauseous with their first bite wondering what it a

I have been bowling here in leagues and recreationally for years and this alley has a very competitive yet family environment

Staff was very nice, and put me on to a few deals without me asking. 10/10 best bowling in the Jax area

Me and my crew come every other Friday and they know exactly where want to be and how to accommodate us, it encourages us to remain regular. I'm not sure of her name but the black lady that checks us in has the best customer service that I have ever received. The kitchen crew remembers our beer and food orders.

EDIT: not sure if a computer responded to my review but you are completely misinterpreting my review. I was there with my family and young special needs child and the people in the picture we're threatening and harassing my child because he was distracting and too loud they said. The lady photographed ran to get her owner/manager friend and the owner yelled st us and said we were not welcome in her bowling alley. So first we are threatened and harassed by your regular league bowlers/ costumers. Then the man

I always come here with my friends and family and have a blast everytime. Keep up the good work bowlero.

Best time Eric and Ashley and the whole team where amazing

YBAM has the best youth bowling program in Jacksonville on Saturday mornings.

The games and bowling was super fun and the food was amazing

I was taking my daughter and her family for a fun night of bowling .when we walked in the door the lady at the counter was very rude and my daughter walked in with a tumbler which wasn't allowed no problem and yelled at her you didn't see the sign at which time my daughter brought the cup to the car. When she came back the same lady had attitude and said the man can help us at this point we took our business else where bowled 3 games at another bowling alley and had food. Your bowling alley lost about 200 d

Elisha is the absolute best she went above and beyond in terms of customer service. Can not reccomend this bowling alley enough!!!

We haven't been bowling in a long time. We had family in town and decided to go. Great service, friendly staff, and they did a great job creating an atmosphere We could make memories. Can't wait to come back.

We had a blast. Group of us came in, kids and adults. Food, drinks, games...Played for 2 hours, left happy. Eric and Courtney are the best!

Now that Bowlero took over - much better. I don't think the previous owners ever reinvested a dime in the property or facility.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
