Customer Reviews

Went there on a Tuesday evening party of 5. The waitress was very thorough and knew what foods and deals were available. We ordered the pizza and pitcher of iced tea combo, sampler, boneless bbq with fries, three 16 oz drinks, and an additional order of fries. Of course before we ate we went to wash our hands and the bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh. The best thing was the boneless bbq and fries. Breadsticks tasted frozen, bbq wings tasted like they were made with breaded filler inside, pizza was

Will not go back to this place. Front desk clerks were not friendly at all. They stuck me in the middle (26) if a family with 3 small kids whose mom did not like they had to share the space with someone else. I wanted to ask to be moved but given the unfriendliness of the staff, I didn't think that would happen any way. I saved her kid from getting his fingers smashed at the ball return by stopping the ball right before it smashed his finger and it was like I was intruding in their space. I just purchased a

We took our 9 - and 11 year old grandsons bowling for the first time. They absolutely loved it! Clean, bowling balls have so serious wear n tear, but they worked for what was needed. They asked to go again before we even left! So they really enjoyed it! The lil arcade they have is 5 bucks a play...100 bucks went like water...so u might wanna think about it before u get there.

My daughter wanted her sweet 16 party here

So season pass doesn't really give you the good lanes. My lane was so dry. Ball was hooking too early. My dry lane ball even hooked earlier than normal.

I arrived at Bowlero with my girlfriend and her Hall Honda crew, expecting an evening of clich?d neon lights and clattering pins?a predictable amusement that, while fun, rarely transcends into anything memorable. Yet, what I encountered was an unexpected delight, a communal celebration of joy that swept me off my feet. The lanes glowed in vibrant hues, pulling us into a world where the trivialities of life were bowled away with every roll. Strikes, gutter balls, and the inevitable playful banter flowed natu

This place is bigger than pin boys. It's in a nicer area and ample parking. Inside they have a full bar and triple the games for kids with a pool table, air hockey and space invaders on a giant screen and more. I know the military bases usually have the best bowling alleys but this place is pretty good with reasonable prices. I'll definitely be returning.

This is, without a doubt, the most disappointing place to visit. The customer service is virtually nonexistent; it's difficult to even get the staff's attention. You might find yourself waiting indefinitely without any acknowledgment or assistance from them, which only adds to the frustration of the experience.

Ruth Chris or Bowlero? Hmmm. Good traditional bowling alley with good music. However, the facility and experience wasn't worth the astronomical prices, unfortunately. Family friendly, but for a modest family of 4, on a Friday evening, you'd spend over $100 to bowl ONE game and grab a snack for the family. Balls are old, there's obvious wear on the lanes and equipment, and the restroom wasn't very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and pleasant, but ultimately: cost vs experience wasn't sufficient enough

Revamped from the old AMF bowling, friendly staff, food is good and prices are comparable to other places

We came on Xmas eve and needed to amend our reservation. The manager and desk clerk (also security) were so nice and accommodating. Yasmeen on reservations was also great. Thanks so much!

I loved my experience here! My server, Olivia was great! Very respectful, helpful, and quick with all my needs. It is family friendly and has a nice atmosphere. I definitely will be going back!

The place was great well maintained and well run the girls at the front desk where excellent cheerful helpful and knowledgeable We went on the $2.88 Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. and the place was jam packed with people They were all observing the Covid-19 guidelines Thumbs up for a job well done

I normally don't write reviews but I had such a great experience at this bowling alley. I had a few issues with adding people on to my reservation for a birthday party and they were beyond accommodating. They put chairs and tables together for my party and set up my cupcakes and balloons as well without me even asking. The staff was so kind helpful and polite. I have never had such a good customer service experience like that it literally restored my faith in humanity. The drinks were good and they had pret

I'm gonna have to admit. I have not been bowling in a very long time. I had no idea that nine games with one adult and two children would equal over $300. When we arrived, the sign said each game $10.39 play two games get the third 50% off. So, leave it to me as a single mom of two teenagers. I did not imagine after playing nine games equaled $10.49 per person per game to throw a ball down a lane would equal over $300z. That was after paying over $150 for food and drinks. PS as an adult I had four beers. M

We were looking for somewhere to finish our night. We were out celebrating our cousin's birthday. None of us have bowled in quite some time. Loved that they were open late. . So glad we found this place. Our server Drake was awesome. He took really good care of us. Everyone we came in contact with was amazing. We will definitely be back for more fun.

Great atmosphere, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful for our group with young kids.

We came in looking for something fun to do with the family, we had food, drinks, played arcade games and bowled. The staff was so friendly and polite, we never had to wait for food or drinks, despite having a larger party of 8 people. Everything came out amazing and was very reasonably priced. Cant wait to go back!

Awesome service and energy from the front desk. Everything works most 99 percent of the time. Only complaint is the service doesn't come check for orders.

Me and my family had so much fun here. The managers Josh and Dru were so much help

Food is actually pretty good, staff is always helpful and friendly. And you get to bowl, which is great.

Besides the pins that were missing sometimes it was a good time. Very nice staff.

Had a great birthday party the other week. Everything was taken care of and we had a great time.

Great vibe , and the workers at the counter were awesome and informative. Will be back

Great family fun. The Foods A bit pricey, but where are prices not high right now!!!

The porter is on top of his game, I watch him go from busting tables to running food!!! we love this guy

The boys had a blast bowling, enjoyed the pizza, and ran wild in the arcade.

Went here for New Years. Bowling was fun, but GREAT service and food!!! Clean and well run.

It was great! They had open lanes available (unlike Pinboys, who were using all of theirs for league players), prices were competitive, rental shoes were decent, the sweet chili wings and fries were delicious, and we had a great time.

We had a great time.My company had there company team building event there. Service was outstanding.

They show inappropriate videos on the big screen behind the bowling pins. This was during the afternoon on a weekend, when there were lots of kids there.

My son had his 10th birthday party at this location today. The staff did an amazing job at making sure we had everything we needed! They were great about coming to our table consistently! The decor was amazing! The food was yummy as well! I definitely recommend going here for a birthday party! ??

Decent food and service was good lanes were over oiled

Me and some friends were here not too long ago, it was a great atmosphere. All of the staff played along with our jokes. Would definitely come back with friends!!

I guess Wednesday nights are league nights. No problem! Asked the gentleman up front if there were any lanes, no worries if not. Told us he would let us know. Started helping other guests, never came back to us and just passive aggressively nodded when we went to leave. It's not his fault it's league night, but just letting us know really isn't that difficult.

Had a girl's hang out day there yesterday. Barbara took great care of us. The wait staff was a little overwhelmed but she checked on us and let us know what was going on. The food was good and the beer was cold. Along with Barbara's great service, I will definitely go back.

Visiting from out of town. Very clean and GREAT staff!!

Game room, pool table, open bar drinks ok, bowling. Nice little spot

Some of the slowest service I've ever experienced. 15+ people waiting to be helped and not a person in sight. The woman behind the counter has no clue what she's doing. Avoid this place on a busy day because you will wait 30 minutes to check in and out.

Really friendly people who work there and the atmosphere was so laid back considering we had small children with us

Fun atmosphere. Great special after 10pm for all you can bowl. Only problem was the server was not around for our first 2 games so we were having to go up to the bar for service. Only 1 person behind the bar so it took a while and games were paused for a length of time.

The bowling alley needs more employees. They only have 1 person taking care orders.

Great birthday experience! There's no minimum number of kids.

Clean, modern bowling alley with friendly customer service. Visited on a Friday afternoon during the winter and it wasn't too crowded but had other customers bowling. I was surprised at the cost for two people to play two games, but they have other times during the week that it may be more cost effective to go.

Frequent flyer here. I love the homey vibes. Very comfortable atmosphere. The wait staff are always great and accommodating.

Had an amazing time here! Staff and management was extremely responsive and helpful with placing orders or any issues my lane had. My kids loved the experience and the bumpers definitely helped them out a ton! Also props to the staff for bringing out the kids ramp without me even asking for it. 10/10 would recommend.

Be careful, this will not Show you the price list rather than just tell you this and that. They offer me few free game for the next time are upset". They also added $6.14 for Covid admin fee when their mask underneath their nose, their shoes didn't do the oder spray before put it back to the rack then the lady already take different pair in that same rack and handed it to me. what is irony? Unethical business. $330 doesn't make a big deal to us if its statement would be clear with the price list.

Was there for a birthday party. Great service and food

Went with the hubby and my 2 small grand children and they wanted 10 dollars /pp for each game and 6.50 for shoes! Severely over priced. Most definitely not a family friendly bowling center. Prices like this deter families from coming out! When family fun is over 100 dollars food should most definitely be included!

We went to a birthday party here and the food and decorations was awesome.

Overpriced for what it is. It's $10 per PERSON. I didn't realize until it was time to pay and it came out to $86 for myself, my finance?, and my kid to play two rounds. Then they had a spot for tip as it we hadn't already tipped our waitress on our food bill. Overall for less than two hours we spend over $160 which isn't worth it for us. Also, the lanes aren't in the best conditions. There were such obvious dips all over it was almost impossible for my 6 yr old to hit any pins since the ball would spin stra

Granddaughter 's 6th Birthday celebrations, dollar tree employees where having fun too on the other side

Ended up leaving cause they told us half an hour wait and we didnt get

Had a great time with my husband. The food was very good also

My wife and I were there with our daughter, her husband, and our grandchildren to enjoy a night of bowling. We had a great time. This is a fun place to take your family.

Great experience. Server was also great

Great music! Great fun! Had a blast for our community holiday party.

Bartender with dark hair, glasses and a beanie was slow as a snail and proceeded to add a 20% gratuity on top of our bill, likely because we paid in cash and then didn't give out our receipt. Resorted to stealing a tip to get one after hardly acknowledging us. Didn't wear a name tag because he knew he was providing terrible service and didn't want to be identified. Also after being ignored by the wait staff for hours had our drinks and card delivered to the wrong table which is extremely frustrating. Regula

Had a family get together and everything and everyone at Bowlero was perfect! The service was outstanding and we all had a blast! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Dru is always a delight to see when coming there; always making sure I'm having the best time when I'm there! Love coming here! Great specials and good drinks!

Thanks for a great dads and kids night out! We reserved 3 lanes on one of the group packages for 16 of us, plus a couple of toddlers for a Friday evening. Yasmeen was super helpful on the phone with answering all of my questions and selecting a package that worked well for us. We ended up getting food, drinks, arcade credit and shoes for the same price as just renting the lanes and shoes. Once we arrived, everything was all setup for us already to jump right into the fun. Courtney, out hostess, was right

We had a lot of fun. They accommodated our group. I felt bad for lots of other people who couldn't get in or got on a waiting list. The food leaves absolutely no choices for anybody trying to eat healthy. I thought we were getting a cheese pizza option and that never happened. We got a pepperoni pizza and lots of fried chicken fingers. Other than that it was a fun night

Finished up our winter league last night. If you are a serious bowler, you may want to go elsewhere. On the plus side, the staff is great and Barbara is a sweetheart. However, lane conditions are terrible. We have had our balls chipped and the approaches are in terrible shape. Many people in our league have stuck at the line and some have even fallen or almost fell. And what's worse are the mechanics. A couple lanes have had the belts on the ball returns burn out and smoke. The pinspotters have dropped or m

We are regulars hear and my son plays in the youth league. The staff is friendly and it's clean which is more than most bowling allies i?ve been to.

We did the New Year's Day Party package. More food than the 6 of us could eat. Great staff. Very fun. May have to add this to our annual New Year's Eve/Day traditions.

The waitress was very nice and cordial. The people behind the desk for the shoes were very nice and cordial as well. The atmosphere was exciting ,clean and fun. I had a great experience being my first time here from out of town. Kiddos for a job well.done..

good service, good food, great staff

We held our 11 year's birthday part here in April 2022. Our event staff was exceptional! The set up (table, name in LIGHTS!, and such) was so nice. We weren't expecting anything so special for our little girl's birthday party! They made her feel so special! They even brought us (the parents) drinks too. The pizza was brought out on time and the drinks always full. They were pleasant to deal with and very patient with shoe fittings. Overall, just outstanding to work with!

Hosted a teen party. All kids had a great time! They seem a bit under staffed, though all staff are super nice and helpful. Our server Alana is very sweet, and on point.

This was where we decided on for our monthly family outing. We had an excellent time. The staff was so amazing and accommodating. I will recommend this location to friends and we will be back.

12/16/23 Went with a friend to bowl, it's pricey but what the heck isn't. They were very nice and let us bowl league style. Pizza was good and the people were nice. All the people bowling seemed to be enjoying themselves. Sat the bar, nobody wanted to help me. Bowled league here in the 90s. Looks like it's a nice place. I hope it's better than the experience I had.

Been bowling on a league here for a few years now and it's always a good time.

Could of been a better experience. Over all not bad. First two lanes we were put in ended up not working, were moved to a third that was fine. Never saw the wait staff to order anything. Seemed very short staffed.

So I came here on a Saturday night with 6 energetic and hungry teenage boys. They accommodated us right away. Now they do not have any promos for Saturdays so it was a bit expensive, but the awesome customer service provided by the staff made up for it all. Dj made sure he broke pricing down for me so there were no surprises at the end of the night, and the manager working beside him was just as courteous as well. They made sure we were comfortable and we didn't have any issues and I'm beyond grateful for t

So much fun and they have amazing arcade games. Great customer service, the bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and explained how much they would charge and things like that. Very patient and I will definitely return.

My crew had a ball, good times!

Joshy Pooh and his team are absolutely amazing! Great environment, amazing staff and a very clean center! We will be returning soon!

Fun place to take the kids on a Sunday. They had a blast!!??Only downfall was there was no waitstaff that day, bummer! P.s. I won!!??

I was there on a Thursday night with a state convention only 2 people were working they did their best to service the crowd the building was clean but it took about 30 minutes to complete my order of fries ?? the server ended up dropping ?? my fries ?? which took another 15 minutes. I hope the next time I visit it will be properly staffed.

Honestly, it looked like a lotta fun inside, but when I asked about pricing for my 2yo & 4yo, plus their father & myself. They don't have child pricing, so for just 3 games for a family of 4, they wanted to charge $25/person plus shoe rental! And only 2 games would still be $23/person plus shoe rental! I genuinely dont remember bowling being that expensive???? $100+ to take my kids bowling, before even considering food or drinks, is WILD in this economy. Mind you, it wasn't even a weekend or a special event

We had a whole cheer organization visit here the management on down, bent over backwards to make sure we had an amazing time

Very disappointed, we went on a Saturday and never received service. Half way through the game I let one of the waiters know that we wanted to order and nobody came to our lane. It was not until we were heading out that a young gentleman, who walked past us several times, came and asked if we needed anything. Will not be returning.

Way way way over priced. Lanes also had zero slickness and the bottoms of my shoes were falling apart. I'm also a fan of ordering my food and picking it up, like the classic bowling alley however, this place had servers. No interest in ever going back at these prices. Save your money.

Not a large crowd. Decent pizza!

The hardware/software is a little out of date, but still worked well nonetheless. The lanes were nice and the service was good.

Place has gone down hill, two waitresses, the whole night, games went from 3$ a game to $10. Spent over a half an hour waiting on my lane to get fixed. The "deals" they had were not deals at all looking back at it. Would not recommend going here

Great experience! Had so much fun with friends and service was great!!

At Bowlero Lynnhaven, we had a reservation the two mechanics with the long hair made sure we had all of our shoes and did bumper and got us a ramp. We told them we will be back soon.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
