Bowlero Limerick

Bowlero Limerick

Reviews Summary

This bowling alley receives mostly positive feedback for its clean facilities, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere, especially for family outings and birthday parties. Many praise the food quality and arcade options. However, several reviews criticize high prices, occasional lane malfunctions, and slow service. While most guests enjoy their experience and recommend it, some express frustration with pricing inconsistencies and poor communication for voucher redemptions or private events. The venue excels in customer service during celebrations but could improve affordability and operational reliability.

Customer Reviews

We had a surprise party for my 30-year-old son there, everything was great. The decorations they set up were very nice. I am actually going to go back there with a group of 25 for a work event Sharon, the event coordinator was very lovely to work with as we're the staff the night of the event.

I haven't been here for well over 10 years. It was under a different name back then. It looks very bright and clean, and the lanes were super nice. Went with my church Bible study group. It was a nice afternoon.

We went as a group deal with food package. The food was very tasty. The pizza was crispy. The fries were salty and they had two wonderful fruit plates. Plus a decadent cookie cake! The employees seemed to enjoy their jobs and were all smiling. The screens along the back were entertaining, but the glare blocks you from lining up your ball on the arrow lines down the lane. And sometimes it's overstimulation! But overall-the renovation was worth it!

I had an event here for my 21st and had such a pleasant experience! From the planning process, to the party itself, Bowlero Limerick did everything in their power to make my event smooth-sailing. Any questions or concerns I had about my event during the planning process were responded to in a timely manner by their amazing event planner Collette G. The party itself was amazing. They do a nice setup with your name and age, which wasn't expected but greatly appreciated! The food was decent for a bowling alley

Dozens of lanes open only to be turned away AGAIN after their own website and front desk claimed they had open bowl. Update your website and staff if you are going to book the entire place for a private event so patrons don't make the trek with a car full of kids.

This is way too expensive to bring a family to bowl. The only deals they have are at night, which is mainly for people without kids. Not really kid friendly with those prices. 80 bucks for a family of 4 is highway robbery. Good luck.

We had a teenager birthday party, it was so amazing, from the moment we walked in, they were attentive, friendly, helpful. The price was amazing, so much food for the kids, decorations, bright happy colors. I would definitely have another party there.

I haven't been bowling in sometime. This was an awesome experience from the cashiers, bartender, and atmosphere. The whole night ending great when we met one of their managers named Mike. GREAT GUY. Keep up.thw good work. Team Limerick.

We had a fun time bowling on a Sunday evening as a family. There was plenty of open lanes and the staff was very kind. I did not appreciate all of the giant TVs. They were highly distracting while just trying to spend time with people you love. In an age where we are inundated with screens, it would be nice to have an activity where they can be put away for a while. Sadly, not so at Bowlero.

Only went here because my favorite alley was on league play today. Lane had a lot of interruptions and issues, had to find help twice, one time being blown off by an employee walking in front of me. Had an instance where I had to clear the pins 6 times before I got a full set to bowl on. Not impressed, definitely a backup to my backup. Not to mention the screens and inability to properly see the marks on the lane.

We had a birthday party here and couldn't say better things! This setup in the picture was all ready to go with a cool welcoming table, which was a neat surprise, and food table for his party. The bowling alley, arcade, etc was all very clean and looking great, and there were fun animations and games to choose from when bowling. Nice selection of arcade games too! We'll definitely be going back!!

They've really cleaned up and changed the place. It's very nice and family friendly

Absolutely fun place. The food was amazing, service was very nice. We attended a birthday party, The arrangement and coordination was very nice.

This bowling alley boasts 48 lanes, making it a lively spot. It's a good idea to call ahead for lane availability as it tends to get busy. While the lanes themselves are top-notch and they offer pricing per game, an hourly rate for those looking to practice for extended periods would be a welcome addition. The place has a wide selection of arcade games as well. However, the bar and food service could use improvement?the current ordering system struggles to keep up with demand. Despite this, it's a great v

Very organized and friendly. Equipment is in good shape and a large selection of loaner balls. I need large holes in mine and they have in a variety of weights.

I have not been here in a while and the place is remodel. It looks so clean. The bathrooms are even better.

Super expensive. Be ready to pay at least twice as much as any other place. Definitely not worth the price for regular daytime bowling. No codes found online were accepted in person. Management said they are only accepted if you reserve in advance. Even with codes the place would still be highly overpriced. Bring extra jackets that you can wear inside. They had all the ceiling fans cranking in winter.

My favorite bowling alley around. I had my son?s 13th bday party here and I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating staff. Mike, and Steve were exceptional and the place is clean. I will be returning.

Loved it! Great day out with my 3 children and we all had a blast. I grew up going there so very cool I can take my kids there now ??

My grand daughter had a bday party on 2/27/21 all little girls dressed in ball gowns..our hostess was amazing.. GREAT place for a party...we called it "Bowling in Ball Gowns" Riley had so much fun !!!

UPDATED 2023: This used to be a great place for family entertainment. Since recent corporate buy out of a smaller company, things have changed. Below is a list of changes I have experienced from going weekly since the 1990s. 1. There are no pool tables to play on at this time. There were a total of 10 pool tables at one time. There are now 2 in the place that used to be the bar. I didn't even bother to ask about prices due to the below items. 2. If you bowled in a summer league, members would get t

Great fun place. Clean and lots of fun with so many lanes and arcade as well.

Absolutely incredible! We just had my son?s 4th birthday party here and everything was perfect. Mike was in charge of our party and he made sure everything went incredibly smooth, the service was amazing and all the food was terrific. We can't recommend this bowling alley enough!

Grouponed our day, and pizza was actually really good! Kids loved the ramps that help them bowl, as well as a good arcade area????

During the regular day time hours, I find the prices to be very high. My friends and I typically stick to the 10pm -1am open bowling for $25. The only issue is that every single projector is displaying paw patrol. I find it quite odd that it is on 20+ projectors when there are not any young kids bowling that late. It kind of takes away from the experience.

My husband and I did a date night here and we were super impressed!! Clean, updated! Super nice bar with lots of options and food (sounds ridiculous but...their mozzarella sticks were incredible!!). Highly recommend!

I know it got bought out by Bowlero but it's still a great place to a bowl, especially for league night. The employees are what make it great here. Mike the manager is as kind as it gets and always helps us out.

Way too overpriced. Not worth it at all for a small family to enjoy a time of bowling. Do not recommend. Go elsewhere to get better reasonably priced games.

Super friendly, awesome place to bowl. We were there for a tournament with some PBA pros all weekend and loved every minute of it. This Bowlero location is very comfortable, bright, and well kept. Food is prepared onsite with a somewhat limited menu, but everything we ordered was delicious. Real nice game room with pool tables, air hockey, and lots of skill games. Definitely a great idea for a family fun night or to take a date.

Great time for all with food, bowling and drinks. We just had my daughter's birthday party here. Everything was set up wonderfully. The staff was available for anything we might have needed to add. Food was very good and all the kids had a lot of fun.

Way to expensive we played 6 games and the cost was $205.22. We also got food that wasn't the very good for the cost of it. Food was $82.50. So i all for 2 hrs of bowling and some finger foods cost us $287.44 which is ridiculous!!!!

We had so much fun discount all you can bowl tues wed n thursday check for times !!! And the restaurant was amazing we were allowed to drink out on the ally it was so fun the arcade was so cool too, it's a must check out spot !!!

First time back after at least 6 or 7 years, totally different look and experience. Very lovely!

Very nicely redone. Staff was polite and attentive. Great place for a family night or a friends night out.

As I get to know the team at limerick the better my experience has been - if you're a serious bowler talk with Bobby and he'll take care of you

The place was clean and my daughter had a blast for her first time ever bowling.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I purchased a voucher and had planned to go with my friends, only to be surprised that they changed the date of the offer without informing us or sending an email. When I reached out to AMF customer service and Groupon, neither of them helped or resolved my issue. I ended up losing my money, even though they should have notified me of any changes to the offer I purchased.

Had a fun time bowling, our lane worked great with no issues. Shamar was our server and was literally the best

I got the summer bowling pass here and that was a really great deal. I get 2 free games everyday. I did the math and my wife and I only had to go two or three times for it to be worth it. It's also nice because I have thick fingers and they have extra large finger holes even at lower weights so it's not as hard on my wrist. Also I really like the arcade. A surprise added benefit. It has good games and the prices are not jacked up.

We hosted our company event here and had a great time. Bowlero came in and updated the exterior and interior and the place looks great. Everyone had a blast at our event.

Great food, great drinks! Met a friend here to watch Phillies and Sixers game??they don't have subscription to regional sports channels. It's supposed to be a Sports Bar. Wanted to leave more stars the staff was phenomenal 5 stars to them!

It had been an extremely long time since my husband and I went bowling. It was great first experience, for us and our 3yrs old daughter.

Today, we celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday at this venue, and I must say, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. We opted for the legendary package for six guests and added an extra lane, which I found to be reasonably priced at $180 plus $27 for the additional lane. The buffet-style setup with two tables adorned with my daughter's name in 3D lighted letters alongside a "10" was a delightful surprise for her. The food selection, including fruit, fries, pizza, chicken tende

Went with a big group. Kids loved bowling and loved the arcade- tough to get them to leave!

Son loves but beverages were limited Lemonade

Just celebrated my daughter's birthday party last night at Bowlero. It was awesome, fun, perfect. The party package is well worth it!! It includes alot for the price! I highly recommend! The staff guy was so helpful, nice, efficient! Thank you Bowlero!!!!

Had a blast coming here to spend some time with the kids for my sons birthday!

Wonderful place for a kids party. I had my sons bday here in May and just attended his friends bday a few days ago here because they loved it so much at my sons party. They're so helpful and it's stress free and affordable. We plan on going much more this summer for bowling and the arcade

It's a local hangout for many. It has everything you would nostalgically expect: mostly level lanes, a game room, a bar/restaurant. All in a stylishly dated environment that either takes you back to your youth or freaks you out. That's up to you.

Had an incredible experience here! Mike, Eryka, and Amber did an especially amazing job and went out of their ways to ensure we had a great time. Would definitely return.

Best birthday ever!! My son and his friends had the most amazing time at Limerick bowl. The staff was friendly and attentive. They venue is clean and bright and colorful. The food was absolutely delicious. As a parent I could not ask for anything more! My little boy had an amazing party and I am so grateful to everyone at Limerick who made his night special!

Manager is very accommodating for special needs. They had both a wheel chair ramp and a bowling ramp for us. Great people and a wonderful experience.

Easy and convenient to order food. Very friendly staff only bad thing was the pins kept messing up , either only a couple came down for a new player or they wouldn't come down at all and had to get help. Will visit again

If I could give 6 stars I would! Excellent staff! My boys just had their birthday party there today and we could not have had a better experience! 10/10 all day long! Thank you so much for such a great experience!

Had a great time with family and grandchildren. There were some problems with the alley. Management extended our time to make up for the problems

We had our daughter's 5th birthday party here this past weekend and everything was perfect! I have to shout out Brandon and Mike who were the best hosts we could have asked for. They made all of our guests feel welcome and they were so attentive to refilling our food/drinks and answering any questions I had throughout the event. The food was delicious, everyone raved about it!! I am so happy I decided to do her party here. I would suggest it to anyone who wants to do something different for their kids birth

Fabulous!! Kids party was a super success!! Kids and adults had a good time; the food and drinks were more than enough and the management team was extremely attentive and proactive to ensure that our party was tended to and most importantly that our food and drink were replenished as soon as they were depleted. So much value! The bowling is fun, kid?s shoes included and they get access to the arcade as well. I highly recommend hosting your next event here!

Great service. Me and my family are from out of town (D.C ) and we had a fun night. Manager was friendly and very informative. The bar wasn't open due to a makeover of the place. You can still order food and drinks though. Go on a Sunday or Tuesday night for buy 2 games get one free!

Booked 3 lanes for an employee outing. The lanes were clean and they had a nice little display with our companies name all set up. Staff was incredibly friendly. overall great experience. Ive been coming here since elementary school. Almost 25 years later, its great to see the place is still thriving

Food was good. The drinks were reasonably priced and the facility was clean. Great place for family and friends.

Was a fun time and a great place to visit on a rainy day. Was a bit more expensive than I would have expected though.

Very nice and clean bowling alley with a fun arcade

Overpriced, mediocre, staff isn't attentive. Food took FOREVER. You pay 9.99 PER PERSON. Shoes cost 6 dollars each. Me and the family were there when it was basically empty and food still took over 30 minutes. Don't even get me started on how overpriced the food is. I can get double at any restaurant for these prices. We've practically finished the game and the food still isn't here. There was about one front desk staff that actually look like he was enjoying himself, the other one looked annoyed we were ev

Very friendly staff, love how clean and attentive they are. This was our first time here and we went for a birthday party, it was Very nice. The pizza was tasty, toasty and not greasy ?? the fountain soda actually tasted like soda and not seltzer. I highly recommend for a family night out. I definitely will be returning.

The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of this place, the food service was good. I'll say the pizza was served hot and was delicious. My suggestion: If they could offer a discount for little ones, like other's bowling places have, I might be able to afford visiting often. ??

Went bowling here growing up as a kid and I always had a blast! Fun arcade and good food, and was always a fun time! Would recommend :)

My kids love this place they also have an after school bowling program that's really affordable

Had an AMAZING experience here! The bartender Dave was absolutely exceptional, I am truly not sure how this man is bartending in a bowling alley.

This place is awesome. I went bowling the other day for the first time in a couple years, and they've updated the lanes. The bright intense beautiful colors shining down on the pins the entire length of the building caught my eye immediately. This place has different game modes to keep things interesting. Aside from the bowling, this place has great food, and a sports bar, along with large arcade and a spacious wing full of pool tables. An all around awesome place to go.

The service gets slower and slower as the last two years have gone by. Lanes break down far too often. ?Improvements? to the snack bar have caused huge delays. Things better turn around or more league bowlers will be leaving.

Food is great compared to other bowling alleys, and the atmosphere is very nice. Fun selection of arcade games was enjoyable, and the lanes were colorful. Just an overall cool place to be (: oh and they have a bar with pool tables :D

Food is surprisingly good, establishment is clean, and the ambiance is great. I had my daughters birthday here and the set up was great!

We booked our son's birthday party here. The Sales Manager Melissa helped us book the party guiding through everything in detail. The General Manager Ron was very nice and did a great job managing everything about the party. The entire staff was really friendly. We would love to come back.

Hosted my child's 6th birthday party here and am incredibly happy we decided to go to Limerick Bowl. Staff was friendly, organized and professional. They had everything we needed setup for our party. Bowling lanes were clean looked beautiful with the neon lights. Food was delicious, was not expecting the food to be as tasty as it was but I was impressed. Everyone had a great time and we will be back in the future.

Monday is like 17 buck per person 7-10. Great deal. Staff was lovely. Bartender was a powerhouse.

Last weekend we had a birthday party for our middle daughter. The experience was amazing. Ron could not have been more attentive and personable, I myself have been in the service industry for 20+ years and let me tell you, one cannot buy that type of employee and service, that comes from within, that is why we will be back. Thank you to the facility but also thank you to the staff she said it was he most favorite birthday party ever!!!

Hosted my daughter?s birthday party there. Amazing prices. Great service and surprisingly good food!!! 5 stars definitely and will recommend to anyone for a family outing or birthday party!!!!

We had a birthday party at the place and the arrangements were amazing. Great staff and customer service. Definitely recommend!

I went to a birthday party for a young lady turning 7. They were very accommodating. The manager actually took off money for the children that didn't show up, his idea!. I thought that was very nice. It's clean as well. With so many people on a Sunday it was well run. Great Birthday Party Location!

Great people and amazing arcade!

This bowling alley is clean and updated. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is an abundance of lanes and overcrowding was not an issue for us. The arcade was entertaining for the children and full of lots of games to play. There is pool and a separate sports bar area. My only complaint is the price of the food is a bit high. $20 for a cheese pie, yikes, so expect the food to add up quickly for a large family or group of people. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

I saw other people saying this same thing so I wanted to jump in. I have been here twice, once when my daughter was two years old. And the other time was yesterday and she is currently 3. Full price for her as well, she uses a ramp and can hardly lift a 6 pound ball. She does about 4 frames and then gives up. They also didn't have shoes that fit her and gave her clown shoes even though I tried exchanging for a smaller size twice. If you take a newborn that can't walk, I bet they would ask at the register

Always like this bowling alley. I've bowled, been on leagues and gone to events here. It's always fun. We went last year for the new years eve ball drop bowl, which was a blast. Really great set up. Great food for a bowling alley. This year we are going back for new years eve, but for the afternoon bowling special. It has been taken over by new owners, so hoping it's still the same fun. Prices went up this year, but the menu looks good and the afternoon prices are better.

Its a bowling alley The foods ok The service is good The lanes are new The lane machines are old so they breakdown The tables are a year old some are still solid some i wouldnt set my drink on

Went for Mother's day, great experience. I haven't been bowling in a couple of years and even longer than that with my mother but it brought back memories from my childhood.

We always love bowling here and haven't been for a while; the price was absurd so I don't think we will go back anytime soon. I took 3 kids and played 3 games in two hours and were charged $121! Just seems like a rip off especially when we use to go and just for 3 people was a fraction of that. Staff was friendly and the place was clean; can't say anything about the food because the prices of that were expensive so we didn't order anything but just felt for a quick activity for the kids during the day, the

The new owners did a good job more seating when bowling, we did have an issue with a lane not working and they changed us right away, food was great and all thr arcade games where working not like before when there was bare minimum working.

This place has changed ownership since my bowling days. I went expecting to be let down. I was not, the decor is stylish and fun. They were awesome at providing a birthday party for my granddaughter. Sometimes change really is a good thing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
