Just stopped here because I knew I could find good food, a beer, and a clean bathroom! Jackpot!! This place is very clean and nice. I got a Turkey Griller sandwich with onion rings and a cold tap beer. Excellent choice. I will be back with my family for some bowling fun.
This bowling. Center only gets 2 stars for the staff at the counter. The bowling special is a great deal for what you get. However, the food in the restaurant is barely food. Fish and chips were freezer burned. French fries were more like tree twigs. The tartar sauce was prepackaged and very bland. Pizza crust was thin, toppings were minimal and taste was cardboard. Alcohol tasted watered down, they put ice in some shots we ordered "no ice". That's just a few things that I found not acceptable. In spite of
Bowled in a tournament there today, and I had a lot of fun. It's a nice bowling alley. The front desk staff is very knowledgeable on helping people get lanes and bowling shoes. I recommend BOWLERO LANES.Great fun for the whole family!
Sadly, charged price for whole day of weekend bowling at $105 for 2 hours, despite price list that is contrary and we had anticipated, which the kid (very nice people) behind the counter said ?has not been updated??. Shoes are incredibly old and worn out (should be trashed). These are disappointing. Lanes are nice. Scoreboards are outdated and funky - touchscreens don't work well (90?s tech?) - really worn balls. Well lit except side lanes. Floor is in decent shape. Recommend trying the other alleys n
Just a great bowling experience. I forget his name he has glasses but he works nights during the weekend. He runs the place efficiently with a great attitude.
We arrived at 9 because their website said they opened up at 9, but it was only for league players... they have over 30 lanes and only about 8 of them were being used... luckily after talking with the staff they allowed us to use 2 of.the open lanes on the far end. For this reason they get upgraded from a 3 to a 4. Lane is clean, staff is friendly, games are fairly priced and they have a bar (opened later on) with a arcade and pool tables. Lane equipment is a bit dated and one of our two lanes had a few
If bowling is something that's "up your alley", why not stop by Bowlero in your "spare" time?
My son absolutely loves it here! We have the kids bowl free pass, so we don't spend much money, but the staff doesn't care and still goes above and beyond!
I was there for High school districts competition. So glad that with all the downsizing, and the getting rid of places like bowling alleys, roller rinks, and community pools its just great they haven't turned it into an apartment yet!!!
This place is pretty old feeling so if your not into that and want a more modern place don't go here lol also the food is excellent especially the pizza it's mid price bit worth it!
Went to the arcade. Which is pretty cool. The largest claw stuffy machine I've ever seen! And I won! They have about 30 different arcade games. I watched some of the ppl bowling too. Lanes seemed in good shape and it was packed with ppl playing. I'll be back for bowling and some food! June 2023. I came back and got food this time. It was really good!!!!!
??#AboutLastNight! It was My Mamas first ?kicking it? outing in quite some time! I have to give a huge shoutout to 2 of the staff members in particular at Bowlero Lanes in Lakewood Joe & Jesiah for making this experience as comfortable as possible for her! They truly went above and beyond to accommodate us! My Mom was full of sooooo much joy, it was EVERYTHING! #Family #Love #Laughter #GoodTimes #GreatVibes??????????
Outdated bowling ally with distasteful frozen food. The equipment doesn't work properly. They have a gaming room with video games. The decor and music is from the 80's. This facility with updating could be a nice place.
Bowling is always fun! Its just a matter if you can get a lane! I highly recommend to go online or call to check lane availability!
Took the family out bowling on Friday afternoon. To my surprise, there have been some updates & renovations. There are new flat screen monitors & podiums to enter your information. I like the updates. I'm glad to see some money being put into this establishment. I've been going here for years, & and it's good to see some positive changes. This has been a great place to go bowl & shoot pool. My kids love going here!
Great people and great hospitality. Tons of things for teenagers to do. Pool table, bowling, restaurant and an arcade room. It was a great evening to spend with our grandson and we all had a great time. Young or old ??? is to spend time with your grandchildren and relive your youth.
Clean and well maintained, food from the restaurant was good. Had to wait for a lane on a Sunday because of kids league that wasn't listed on their website
My family and I really like this place. Never had any issues. ??
We enjoyed our trip to the bowling alley. The bowling lanes were well maintained, but the machinery to setup the pins had some problems. Every time we got a strike we had to reset the lane and erase the score it automatically added (Lane #17). The bowling balls and shoes were very worn, but they served their purpose. We also played some pool, but one ball was missing. Its nice to have billiards available at the bowling alley. Food is served here and even though we didnt eat here, the pizza looked deli
New bowling computer system and new menu. I have lived in Lakewood almost my entire life, and Bolero has been there. It is better than it ever has been!!!
Takes me back to my days of bowling. Great place, food not bad either.
This place is like stepping into yesterday with wholesome family fun. Staff seams to be super attentive to needs when asked. Bowling alley was clean and machines worked with no issues.
The machine and lane pins didnt set right had to go to counter and get help 4 times. But the guy was nice and helped out.. Bad lane 22
One of the best bowling alleys in the state ?? always a good place for hang outs and party's
What a little gem! Older house but all the lanes were nice and the staff here were on point! The sweet bartender Bri took her time to find out how to make my drink! The cook was hilarious and amazing! The Chicken wings and fries were seasoned to a T!! Alley staff was helpful as well!! Nice place to bowl and eat!!
Great customer service in lounge and at the desk, clean and family friendly
Nice place to hang out with your friends and have a good time
My experience was great! the guy in the bowling equipment store was extremely dedicated to making sure each personal ball fit the individual bowler and was very willing to share tips on how to bowl more effectively. the food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. i very much enjoyed my experience here!!
Bought the family pass to bowl with my children this summer only to be sadly disappointed i couldn't use it. I came in during the times it states and they had no lanes open for non league members. I didn't see any disclaimer when I bought the pass. It says 2 free games per day. Not 2 free games when there isn't league. I spent money on something that I can't use every day. They sell you the pass then limit the time and days around league. They should state that before you buy it. I'm Very unhappy with there
I'm so happy this bowling alley was reopened. The restaurant was great.
My favorite of the few bowling alleys that are left. Friendly employees and fun atmosphere, music.
If you want to go anywhere fun, this is the place. I've been bowling with Special Olympics for 11 years (3rd year in a row at this bowling alley) and this one is the best bowling alley in West Pierce County. 10/10 recommend.
Love this place. Prices are great. Food is good, plus alcohol isn't overly priced, and the staff are super friendly.
Visited on a Dart League night ~ Bar was super busy and uncomfortably crowded; The dart players didn't have enough area to be comfortable and the way the bar & darts were oriented complicated things unnecessarily. Waited about 8-10 minutes to get a large size glass of flat warm BudLight. After two sips of the ??, I abandoned it and left Bowlero. I get it, sometimes the beer is warm or flat, or yadayada..... BUT, I think Bowlero should rethink how that space might be used better, or more comfortably by both
First time, went with a group or friends, had a blast, will be back
Great place to take my family. We had a blast.
Very, miserable experience none of the equipment worked properly.
Love the place the food and drinks and the vibe is great.
We had a great experience and a very good time. Played pool while we waited for our turn to bowl. First come, first serve on Saturday. We only had to wait about half hour. Friendly staff that was very helpful
been going here as long as i can remember! a lakewood monument! great place to bowl? league, or otherwise?
Facility is old and rundown. Staff has no concept of customer service. Service from the Front desk to the Bar was ridiculously slow, and all the staff seemed to be miserable. Never saw one smile on any staff member in the two hours we were in the facility. Better facilities in the area
as! Nice place to have fun. The staff are very friendly and the grill has good food to order
The place was full so the food took some time to arrive, but was good. After we bowled a couple of games, we shot some pool. The kids went to the arcade and had some fun and won some stuff. We had a great time as a family. Good clean family fun. I found the staff to be attentive.
This is my go-to place. Love the late night crew. They always get me taken care of and ensure I have a great time. Nick and Lucy are awesome!!!!!
Stopped by there a week ago and they've got a whole new menu in the restaurant the food is really good. They got rid of just the frozen pizzas and bar type food and that will make the place even better than what it was. Michael Clark who's got 40 years experience in the bowling industry joined a couple months ago after leaving Paradise Village Bowl in Parkland when they were bought out. He's been around enough good ownership groups Etc and knows a lot about the industry and to make the place better and it
Not super fancy looking and probably needs some updates but we had a lot of fun here. There's a small arcade too though we didn't go in so can't rate it. The employees were friendly. Ordered some french fries and mini corn dogs. Overall I'd go again
The new management is wonderful! They are bowlers who know what other bowlers want. The staff is kind and courteous and their adult beverages never disappoint!
Very, very poor service... We went into the restaurant to get something to eat, and there were 4 employees just standing around, and not one of them even asked us if we needed anything. They were more interested in their phones. I will never come back and will let others know that if you come to the establishment, expect lousy service.
My family has been here to bowl and had a great time every time. The staff is so kind, the environment is child friendly and the wings are the best.
The business has been determined to be a landmark, so has sidestepped being demolished for more... apartments? Who needs more apartments? It appears the owner has started to put a lot more effort into the place, the employees try helping with any problem and often have a pitcher of water provided. The lanes have been receiving more attention and appear to have been improved. If you want to bowl it's a decent place to be to pass time. Let's face it, having customers bowl at reasonable prices is better than
Husband and I came here and we had a blast. The workers were nice and helpful. This will be the spot from now on.
Great pro staff just great service
I joined my granddaughters with Saturday league. This was my first time there. They came from Paradise. It's a smaller league but really felt the love in this building. Kids seem to enjoy as well. I am not remembering names yet but I will to give them a personal shout out. The beautiful women speaking with the mic. Speaks to my heart and I am sure I am one of many. The owner and his sweet dog. What do you say... There are no words for their love. I see the strives to revive the once splendorous gathering pl
It was a very clean bowling alley. Good food, a little pricey, but everything was good quantity and quality. Staff was very helpful and courteous.
The vibe was nice! The food and drinks were good. There was a fight that broke out in there and the staff handled it really well! So I appreciate them keeping a safe environment for the rest of the patrons.
Just off of the first game it kept messing up. Pin kept falling before it was put down. Front guy had to come more than 12 times to fix the same issue. Delay to move to the next player and had to get it fixed. Guy taking the order for food is new but didn't offer to give copy of receipt and when I asked he said he already asked and I said no. But he didn't bc he asked me later on he needed a signature and forgot to get it so that's when I also asked for a copy of the receipt bc he never offered. Second time
The prices weren't bad 5 dollars a game and 4 for shoes. I did go late night on a friday so I am not sure if the prices change on Saturday/Sunday. The food wasn't bad. I ordered chicken strips and fries. My only problem is the portion size could have been bigger. They could have gave way more fries. The chicken strips portion/size itself were perfect. Overall, I had a good time.
Cool retro building. Clean and well kept. Lane conditions are okay, but have wooden approaches. A lot of league play.
Horrible place the bosses and managers treat staff like trash. They let their managers sleep with staff and very homophobic. The boss does nothing and like I said this place cares 0% for their customers especially when they fight over going to the store to get stuff for events or parties they never want to go and get the stuff. Ran down place .
It's good to see the bowl full of bowlers again,I started bowling here 50yrs ago.come and get treated rite, and most of all, have fun.
Nice clean bowling lanes good pro shop
Good old fashioned fun! There is a ton of fun things to do there, pool, arcade, and of course bowling. It is a very old facility, with few updates however, and at least on the Thursday night I was there with friends, there was only 2 people working. The restaurant was all done by one super-nice-but-seriously-over-worked lady, and the main counter for paying for shoes and games etc was stated by the only other employee there. This just means that there were wait times for getting service. It that didn't
We had a great time with a very large party. Our son's 8th party was a blast! We had kids and adults bowling and it was a lot of fun. We were able to set up early and stay to clean up. I highly recommend it!!
Great place for bowling, staff is as friendly as they come.
Sunday morning had a great breakfast and the staff was very attentive I'll be back again
So fun, super friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced!
We were a group of about 18 people at an empty hour. The lady in charge had a bad attitude. One of our screens didn't work. We had to constantly press reset to get the next person's pins up. Our game was shut off at round 8 because the neighboring lanes finished theirs first and they couldn't fix it. Overall bad experience
This place total catered to us showing up with a birthday party. Even though they were short handed they were very kind and helpful. Special to thanks to Joe and the crew who helped us from start to finish.
Prices don't match from their website to their in person pricing. There will be a special somewhere online, but it doesnt apply to their location. They have menus with pricing food packages without days but say it's only available any other day that's not today. Remodeled bar, but still a hole with missing tile of the entrance. Lots of spaces available, but many monitors don't work. This place could be a 5 star but due to lack of investment, marketing and management it's a 2-3 star. And it's oioonly tha
Not the worst rates to go bowling. Not very well maintained and is quite dingy and dirty. The carpet is a mess of stains and the flooring is sticky and stained. The rental shoes, bowling balls, state of the restroom are quite disgusting. All in all it made me fear the CDC might raid them. Staff is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a friendly attentive person and sometimes you get someone who simply does not want to be there. Food and drink prices are quite high even for a bowling alley and leave much to be des
We went on veterans day, so my review may be a bit biased. In any case, the place was pretty busy, but that's to be expected. We paid an okay amount of money for drinks and fries. All in all it was a pretty good experience.
My 2nd place to spend time with my kids
Very clean and nice alley, albeit a little older than others but better environment.
I signed my son up for the free summer bowling. This is the closest to our house. It's a bit run down but usual not too busy which my son likes since he is autistic. But their are a few issues I have. 1. The pins don't airways get picked up. And sometimes the game glitches. 2. Not so the bumpers work. 3. The shoes are in pretty bad shape and I don't know if they already them. 4. The pool tables are only .75 but it's a $25 hold for the cue ball. Which always gets stuck and you have to ask for them to
First and last time visiting this establishment. Took almost 20 min after ordering a mixed drink. The place looked very run down and dirty. Sorry about the 3 broken windows due to not sure what they would want . Not a fancy place.
Although often driving by this place looks closed. It is not. Took my son bowling here last week. They had an all you can bowl special @ $12/person.(includes shoes) you CAN order snacks/food. The lady behind the food/drink counter was very sweet!! We got the platter with everything on it. The boys loved it. It came with lots of sauces and was hot. We had lots of fun and will be back! We played lots of video games and music on the jukebox. The guy behind the front counter was really nice and turned our songs
So disappointing. This was the worst bowling experience I've had. Went out with my whole family, 5 little kids included. It was freezing in there with no heat whatsoever, the workers just said ?oh it's always like that.? Rude and dismissive. It's snowy and cold outside? Come on. On top of that they had extremely explicit music on with cuss words every other sentence. Not family appropriate at all. Seems like they let children work here who just do and listen to as they please. Do not recommend. Got a refund
$5 dollars per game w/shoe rental included per customer. Actually $2.50 per game and 2.50 for shoes I believe is how they were doing it! I usually go in the lounge it's open until like 1ish, foods so good! Bartender makes strong delicious drinks, there's darts not sure if I remember a pool table ha I forgot there's like 6-7 pool tables, a bomb mini arcade that has updated games complete with the air hockey table and plenty of seating! I love bowleros;;
This place went out sad, I grew up going here watching my Dad for years. Here and of course the other bowling places. It sucks to see a once thriving place go downhill. Had to use a lot of patience trying to enjoy the experience with my Wife when it reopened. Understandable but not at every turn you make.
Bowling is always fun. Foods a bit pricey but it's to be expected lol. Arcade is entertaining for kids alway.
Large facility and has good wings. There are pool tables too. Our lane had lots of malfunctions but still had a good time
Family day out! We had so much fun
First two lanes they offered didn't work correctly. Older equipment. Waited in line for 20 minutes to buy a pitcher of beer on a Monday night when they weren't that busy and then at the end of the night the same girl who didn't have time to service customers had plenty of time to come out and hassle people to get out of the parking lot. Overall there are better places to be and hangout. If it wasn't for the laissez-faire attitude of the company maybe they would get a higher rating.
All good, no music but there was a special event going on, so I guess it was shut of for the event. No big deal, at all, really didn't notice so much.
Really fun lively bowling for all!!! Food is REALLY good too!
Had a great experience. Staff was friendly and ensured I had everything needed and there were no questions. The nachos were great and food staff was just as amazing. This was my first visit and I look forward to visiting again very soon!
We had so much fun. What a lovely place for me and my family. We will be back .great customer service. Great food.loved it
Hey folks they are open, no masks required, no vaccine required, no temp checks. So be aware if you go and are immune compromised to protect yourself. I've always enjoyed bowling here, food is good and always hot, nice arcade, prices are on point with other bowling alleys. I went for a kids birthday party, not an organized event thru Bowlero though. We made a cake and just showed up. We got there at 2:00pm and not to crowded, no wait for 2 lanes. Left at 5:00pm and place had filled up a bit. All in all a gr
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
