Many praise the atmosphere but note high prices for bowling, food, and arcade points. Food quality is inconsistent, with some items arriving undercooked or overpriced. Customer Reviews

Specifically went here for the arcade. Purchased three 100 credit/point cards prior to noticing that TEN of the arcade games were Out Of Service. The ones remaining ?in service? were more geared toward adults/teens. The 9 year old birthday girl left with 50 points still on her card and was very disappointed.

Great place for activities for most ages. Yes bowling is pricey per game but the place was clean and not too crowded. Dart boards and pool tables were in rough shape but still playable. Nice seating area to the left of the entrance.

It's a nice facility. Arcade was ok, kids had fun for sure. I thought prices were a bit high. 9.99 per game plus 5.99 to rent shoes. Chicken wings were 16-17$ and you don't get a lot of them. We had fun but next time would maybe plan to go with a promo or something. Family of 4 spend just a little under 200$ in an hour and a half. I wasn't impressed with service model. You order and pay from a kiosk and they drop off the food and tip in advance. I tipped 20% and there was no check in or even verbal contact

We always have a blast here! Yes - it is expensive, but it's far worth it for its location in Lakeville and atmosphere.

Worst ever. Would think they could turn on there ac.. went for bowling for two hours. No air flow no ac and hot as hell. Than on top of that card machine difficult. What happen to walk up service. Suggest putting bigger fans in bowling areas

Had an awesome time bowling! They have a special deal where if you buy 2 games you get the 3rd one for $4 and you get a $5 arcade card that doesn't expire which was very useful considering I went with a group of 8, each one of us got a $5 card, on top of that the 3 games and you can really make a day out of it. The staff are very helpful and the arcade is a very good size with plenty of games, also has a cool shell of an old Ford mustang. Highly recommend for Big groups and for birthdays or even if you just

I loved this place it's very nice. Played and had fun had a few drinks with my friends. It was all worth it. Great place.

Clean fun environment. Experience is expensive. I would not recommended for under 4 years olds as the games are really geared toward older kids with my son needing to sit on our laps for most driving games while many of the point and shoot games were definitely designed for older kids. Point value to get tickets for prizes is very low. About $50 in points will get you about $5 in prizes. I would recommended no less than 25 /30 points for kids game cards as many games charge their cards 6 to 7 points per pl

Super cool place to go with a group!! The beer is so good and I had the garlic parm fries and they were so delicious. The bowling was great, and pretty easy to do with large groups. The service was so good, the bartender kept coming over and asking if we needed any more drinks. She was so great. The only downfall was that we wanted Jello shots really bad, but they said it'd be an hour long wait because they have to set. Which is understandable, but they were advertising them like crazy so we just assumed we

Great spot for all kinds of bowling. Went with a group of friends and had a great time. Very easy to do multiple games and the staff were great

this place is so bad. i was here on a field trip. the sink is broken, it leaks, the food choice is really small (we had a choice of pizza and fries ONLY) and the food took an HOUR N HALF to get my food. the stuff is so bad and the food is really expensive. i don't recommend to go here.

Great venue for a child?s birthday party! The Hostess, Manager, and Food Service members were awesome?kept us informed, feed and happy! We will definitely come back for more parties in the future. Food was tasty and kept warm, drinks, food and sides were always refreshed too! A+ Service, Food and Fun!

2024 went for a party there. The employees were super attentive and helpful and the pizza was delicious 2023 2019 update we have been going here every Wednesday for a very long time now they have a Groupon deal we can get a discount cards for playing games but now they have almost doubled the price of their games which does not make the deal very good, I'm guessing they doubled the price of the games to make up for the half off Groupon deal. 2024 stuff the second thing we haven't noticed now is that whe

We had my daughters 11th birthday here. Everything was great. Kids had a blast, staff was accommodating, and the woman who I believe was the manager seemed to have 3 brains, and 4 arms. She was on point.

This was a waste of an otherwise nice Sunday morning. The touch screen to order drinks from the lane worked just enough to keep you trying until it declined and started us over. It is obvious no one cleaned last night or this morning because there was trash(candy wrappers and scraps) all over the floor and a literal cherry stem in the approach to our lane. Although only 4-5 lanes were taken the entire time we were there, after asking if we could switch lanes we were told ?you can't jump around lanes. Once y

We celebrated here my son's 12th birthday. I was impressed by the amazing atmosphere and great customer service. Five stars go to Kyle, who assisted us above and beyond. Thank you! All the best!

This is a cool of interesting place to let my kids coming and play the game for them but it's was kind of spendy for the price. Oh well never mind the once a awhile it's was ok

Fun atmosphere! We love the arcade although the items to purchase with your winning tickets are pretty high. For example, 15 tickets for 1 little tootsie roll or another single small piece of candy like a warhead is a little much when taking into account not only the price to purchase play points but also having to purchase the game card first at $3.00 each. So save your play card(s) if you do plan on visiting more than once to avoid having to purchase a new one each time. The staff is friendly, it would be

Good clean fun. With food. And booze. ?? Ok and laser tag! It was closed when I was there last but hope to try it next time.

I had a great experience, the place is very clean, updated, offers ton of activities to both kids and adults, best bowling place in MN. It's a bit pricey, but I would recommend to check their special deals if cost is an issue.

Great ambience, neat and clean. Not very expensive. Kids friendly.

It was my sons 13th birthday party. We hung at the arcade and played laser tag.. great time! A little spendy, but worth it!!!

Went for laser tag, after two failed games due to technical difficulties we got a refund. Waited over a half hour for drinks and a single app despite a lack of any sort of crowd (very good though when they finally arrived) and getting service at the bar was a struggle even with 3 bartenders and only 6 seats. Arcade was fun but many games were out of order. Definitely need to work on customer service. Laser tag employees were, however, very fun and helpful despite challenging circumstances.

I honestly had a really fun time at this place! Wasn't expecting so many games, food options or drink choices i was pleasantly surprised! Went here for a friend's birthday and we were all very entertained..

Great place for a party

Fun for bowling. Is a great bowling experience for all and for those who don't bowl very much 2 sessions is usually about enough. The food is decent. A little bit too expensive for what they serve in my opinion. The Burger tasted like they went over and got it from McDonald's.... blah.

Was a fun time. Kids had a blast bowling. The food we got wasn't our favorite, but would still go back. I liked that the bumpers came up automatically for the youngest kids when it was there turn, as well as the ramps. It was pretty expensive to be here, however we have a family of 7. Also food and bowling went on two separate tickets forcing you to tip twice.

Very good place, our kids loved it, enough parking and very good staff, bowling alleys are well maintained and very clean

Great experience, I didn't realize how excellent this bowling alley is. Food was also solid!! - plus friendly staff!!

Today I was there for my daughter birthday and I am telling you is one of the worst experiences I ever had in my life. Everything was fine till I spend a lot of money at the arcade. My wife hit 16 jackpots and the machine take forever to load. I was there for over 2 hrs and they keep telling me to wait till done loading the tickets and it will automatic load to my card. After it done loading and the tickets didn't get into my card. So the guy John say they can't do anything. That's mean I spend $200 and I g

Bowling here is quite expensive compared to other alleys in the south metro area. We paid about $28 each for 3 games, though we did get a $5 card for the arcade with that. They set the lighting low to make it seem like it's always midnight bowling, which I could see as being fun for like a work outing or a date night, but not for legitimately trying to bowl accurately. At the ends of the lanes, they have projectors of live sports showing, but they were set too dim to be properly visible. You can order food/

Was a great place and a fun time till we went to check out and found out the charge per game per person. A little dumb when you find out the price of three pairs of shoes and four games is 180 dollars . Only to find out they had an ?unlimited bowling? for 22 dollars per person. Cool to find out after.

If you are a hook bowler, these lanes are the worst ive ever had the displeasure of bowling on. Almost 0 oil. And for the price, this place is about the worst idea you can have. Terrible facility, terribly maintained lanes, theres literally sand on the approach. DO NOT COME HERE

Great for family fun. Good pricing for the quality of the place. Very good food for a bowling alley

Perfect spot to gather as a family over the holidays. Service was fabulous, welcoming and the lanes are clean! The atmosphere was beautiful! My family would like to meet here every year!!

I am so impressed with this establishment. They have so much to offer here. Bowling, laser tag, arcade games and friendly staff. Ricky my server was not only knowledgeable she had great food and drink suggestions. I will return. Portion sizes are perfect. So happy I stopped in.

I came here due to a work party and it was a very pleasant time. Bowling, arcade, and laser tag is what I did there and it was all a good time. My favorite was the laser tag! Even though I did the worst just having fun with your friends or co-workers can still be a blast. I did have some food which was provided and it was good too, I enjoyed the fries, a couple cookies, and pizza. The fries were my favorite. The only thing I'm not aware about is the price, since my work paid for it. But overall a very enjo

I recently visited this bowling alley and it was a fantastic experience! The lanes are top-notch, providing a smooth and enjoyable game for both beginners and seasoned players. What really stood out to me was the attached arcade. It's packed with a variety of games, perfect for all ages, making it a hit with kids and adults alike. Speaking of kids, I attended a birthday party here and was thoroughly impressed. The staff organized everything seamlessly, ensuring a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all the chi

My daughter celebrated her Birthday with a few friends. The bowling alley is really nice and they got to do the cosmic bowling. I was planning to get the bowling, arcade and food special but that's only valid before 6:00. It got pretty spendy, but she's worth it!!

I'm not sure why I expected to have a different experience here, but it was honestly the worst experience I've had in a long time. There was only one person there to help bowlers, help in the arcade, make drinks, deliver food - and, frankly, I suspect he was the guy who was also cooking the food. The food is severely overpriced and poor quality (this is to be expected though, I suppose). I will definitely not be back - ever. I suspect that won't be a concern before long, however, because I don't expect this

Seth was an amazing server!! He gave us suggestions for food!! He was a great person to talk to! He was amazing at coming back to our lane every once in a while to check in on us! My boyfriend and I came for our 2 year anniversary and it was definitely a very good experience!! I definitely recommend you come here to enjoy your day of bowling! All the staff are great, especially Seth!

Cool place to bowl and have a few drinks with friends! The food is delicious I suggest the chicken fingers.

Love this place. A few games were out of service. Better luck next time

Cool place for people of ages between 6-60, younger than that, or older than that, you won't find much to your liking ??

The arcade is fun with good return on prizes for points. Bowling alley is cute and fun however very expensive! A family of 4 plays 1 game with shoe rental and its $49!

Absolutely discussed with how I was treated here.

We hosted a surprise birthday party here for my future brother-in-law. We had such a wonderful time!! The service was amazing, the food great, and the laughs were endless!! A huge shout out to Megan that made the event so memorable!!! We also bowl here in a league on Wednesdays and this place has become so special to us, mostly because of the staff! I highly recommend!!!

We were here for a birthday and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Everyone was kind and helpful. We had fries, nachos, pizza and all of the food was reasonably priced and brought out quickly. Sometimes these fat thumbs have an issue finding a ball to use but they had plenty of options that worked for me We also stopped in the arcade and played a few games. Everything is well-kept and clean. We will be back!!

I pretty much go there once or twice a month, I recently went for new years with a couple of friends and had a really good time. What made it even better was the staff, especially the manager Casey, she is always so nice and helpful and goes above and beyond to make the time there amazing.. she's a Rockstar!

Its nice. But l dont know why l am supposed to pay for shoes.

Jamal the bartender is amazing! Side bar was awesome! Lanes well kept, and balls alrdy ready for you to bowl! Food was nice, so was the specialty drinks menu ;)

Played games with the kids. No problem. Have to purchase a 3$ card just to pay to load points on it. Should be built into the cost. Went to the bar and ordered mozzarella sticks, and they came out still frozen in the middle. They got me new ones, and again, a few of them we cold in the middle but at least not frozen. Kids had lots of fun on the games.

Kids had fun. Used a Groupon for bowling. Video game area was fun.

Second year that we've had my daughters birthday here. This was the big 13. Hard to impress this age. We had 5 choices of beverages that was constantly full as was our food. We never had to ask for more of anything. Kyle and the staff were awesome! Good food. Great service. Bar service was perfect. Clean everything. We will continue to book things here. So fun!

My kids liked the arcade. You can recharge the cards with tokens and save tickets too. The card recharge stations (they look like little ATMs) are very convenient.

Loved coming Sunday night for a small birthday party. Not too busy, the food came quickly, and the arcade after was a perfect evening for both kids and adults.

It's nice but they harass you for tips for checking you in and out tacky

I love this place, the bowling is great, and the staff is awesome!! The person who helped us the most was a girl named Kalie. She was super nice and seemed to really enjoy working there. We look forward to coming back and seeing her smiling face.

Amazing fun would recommend best place ever

Very expensive but fun. The bowling, shoe rental, and bar seems to be very high.

Really fun place. Nice and clean. Fantastic service.

The staff was amazing!!! Desi, Elaine, Tessa, Nate, Casey and Robert went out of the way to make sure my Daughter's birthday went as smoothly as possible! There was a few hiccups with the booking online but by the time we got there everything was fixed! My daughter and her friends had an awesome time!!!

Nice location, bar, and food available, arcade games.. pool tables. And sitting area for parties. Staff at the bowling counter are great. The bartender seems ok, but not as friendly.

Great place! Great arcade also. The bowling is a little on the expensive side. That's the reason for the four stars. Otherwise this is a great place to take the family for bowling. We had the nachos and they were pretty good. It was very easy to order the food and it came out quickly.

Came to Bowlero?s with my family tonight and had an amazing time. Our server was exceptional and the bartender was great. We definitely plan to come back! Thank you staff at Bowlero?s Lakeville!

It is a really nice place, as far as up keep, decor and cleanliness. The staff is really friendly as well. The arcade is very expensive and bowling with a larger group can be spendy as well. I'd say the only down side is the prices but other than that it is fun!

Crazy the amount of games that are out of service or don't work.

This place is great for hosting kids/adult parties. However this maybe on the pricy side when adding food. They offer few party options. They could price their party trays a little lower. The kids still enjoyed their time!

The staff and service is out of this world. Casey H and her staff was super attentative to us, and made sure we had the most enjoyable experience. There was a point in time where we forgot to add laser tag onto our bundle, but she made it right. I really hope she reads this as she really deserves the pat on her back for the exceptional service. I will be returning. THANK YOU.

Terrible experience for an 8 yr old. Many of the games were out of order. She wanted to pick out prizes. The lady closed it 20 minutes early. On a Saturday night?? Pool tables were stained, felt torn. What a dump it turned out to be. My granddaughter cried all the way home.

Nice environment, little pricey for bowling with 2 people. They should offer a time slot for bowling as an alternative to price per game. 2 people can bowl several games in an hour and it gets expensive.

Great destination for anyone looking for fun for the whole family! Food was decent and the waiting staff was phenomenal. The only minor criticism is the prices were a bit spendy.

Was an amazing night out with friends, will for sure return

Great food! I had the cheesy burger and it was amazing! Fun atmosphere and my daughter had a blast!

Had a birthday party with 12 kids. Kyle (who I assume is the manager) was amazing!! He was clearly working with minimal staffing, but did not let that effect our experience at all. Kyle literally did it all! Thanks for an amazing experience and party! We would definitely book again.

It was fun, and the food was good.

Great bowling alley had good music food was mid, has arcade and pool to play as well as a nice classy bar area

Noice family friendly entertainment. Staff seems helpful for most part. A few staff members seemed completely bored to be here. Would go back.

Very busy this Saturday, but we were able to get a lane to bowl on. I hadn't been bowling in 20 years. Was taken aback at how much bowling is now a days. I'm sure this is the going rate for today. We did enjoy our bowling with our granddaughter. We will be back to bowl again

Always a great time for the family at Bowlero! We noticed updates in pricing and balls this visit. The balls provided have 2 hole sets drilled. Enough balls to accommodate all ages. Food and desert is always well prepared and very tasty. Arcade is a blast with may choices and recent updates. Fun for all!

Very nice place, lots of lights and things to do. The service on the other hand, absolutely awful. I almost began to think that the staff was told to be rude, slow and incompetent. Bartenders were super slow and seemingly working slow as they did not wish to be there at all. When asking for a takeout container we were told that is something they do not provide, my friend responded with ?I would like to take home food for my pregnant girlfriend, do you understand??. The employee decided it was respectful to

Took the family to Bowlero to celebrate a Birthday. Nothing too formal, just family and a few friends. We were a group of about ten. The bowling experience was fantastic. Way better than expected as it was quite busy. One of the employees helped the kids each find an appropriate bowling ball and made sure we got everyone?s name entered correctly on both of our lanes. The food service was excellent! Our server was attentive and came by often but not too often. We even had a manager stop by to make sure we ha

We love getting to go to Bowlero when we get a chance. Always a fun time and great atmosphere for the family.

This place is beautiful and fired up ????????went bowling with my Gs and it was great ?? plus the pizza was from another planet ?? super delicious

I'm giving this location a mid rating and here's why. What we always loved: Bowling and Arcade games are very clean, well maintained and up to date. Love it! What we don't like: Horrible food and beer is piss warm or tastes old. The place gets busy and feels super super under staffed. We ordered a pizza and it took 2hrs to get it. Always a fun place for my kids but eat at home before you go and... Pass on the beer unless you enjoy piss warm and old beer.

Good prices, friendly staff! Will definitely be coming back! Love the weekly bowling specials, the college night is a great deal!

Very busy. Limited seating for bowling alley. Food was ok, nothing special. Video games/arcade require the purchase of a points card. Games take your points very quickly. Bathrooms were extremely dirty and no toilet paper or paper towels. Has its own parking lot with ample parking.

Always clean location and friendly staff. The kids love the arcade as well. Highly recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
