Had a great time at the NYE event! Staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean even tho it was crazy crowded/busy after a full day of events. Balls were organized, easy to use technology, and music was good!
Well. I am torn because I love this place. I love the atmosphere and that it is smoke free and that there is a small arcade. However the service here is absolutely terrible and is the reason for my one star. There is an older man (who is not the owner or manager) that acts very misogynistic. He couldn't figure out how to do something, so he said he couldn't do it. To which I replied I still needed it. So he went and got his managers card.. the guy then rudely flung me an arcade card.. any other encounter he
Amber and staff was AMAZING!! Went to the Chesterfield location a few weeks before and they were so rude and gave us so much trouble that we ended up saving our groupon and leaving. So we decided to go to this location and they were so understanding about having a 2 year old and they were very patient. Thank you Amber and staff
James and Jada were awesome! They were so kind and took very good care of us during our visit there. The kids had a great time and I really appreciate their kindness. Thank you!
Nice bowling ally with lots of lanes. Their food is your typical junk food
After having just receiving some discouraging news after a 7 year medical journey I took my kids up to the Lights Out Bowling. They were very busy, and even though we had stopped by earlier trying to reserve a lane there was over an hour wait list. I was so so disheartened. I mentioned to the front desk staff my situation as put my name on the list, and went to the arcade with my kids to wait. Before I could even buy an arcade game the manager came over and had a lane ready for my kids and I. May their kind
Have been going to this place for over two years now, always an enjoyable time. Management is considerate, staff is friendly, helpful, and quick to serve. Bartender is wonderful with lots of great drinks to choose from. Personal favorite cocktail from the house cocktail menu is the Margarita, food is also very decent, my favorite is probably the burger or the flatbreads! Always have fun here with anyone I bring, including my niece and nephew and they love the arcade as well! Will definitely continue to come
There were only 2 people working from 430p-10p. My group and I ordered food using their online ordering option. There were menues to scan with your phone and signs all over saying it was available. We sat for an hour watching others who came in get their orders and when I asked if their online order system was working they said oroginally that it comes from a different area, then that their ticket machine for that was off. They had to log into the system to verify the order. Online there is no option to can
We hosted a corporate event here. It was fantastic. The employees were great, and the food was delicious. Everyone had a great time.
We had an extremely pleasant experience at this bowling alley. The staff was very friendly, facility clean, and overall family friendly atmosphere. We really had a wonderful time.
We were participating in a league due to our normal house being closed for repairs. We will not be back. Drink prices are crazy, lanes are not up to par for what we expect for league play. We were given trouble because we had too many non-bowlers sitting with us even though we made sure not to take seats for the bowlers in the house. Had a styrofoam cup filled with ice that I would pour the drinks in that I bought from the bar ( and showed them that) and was told that they would shut our lanes down if I did
We had our kiddo?s birthday party here and let me tell you how IMPRESSED we were! From the price, to the staff & their hospitality, and the setup & atmosphere? it's exactly the way a child?s birthday party should be! Thank you for everything and for making my child?s birthday a memorable one. I will recommend Bowlero Lakeside to everyone!
Most of the staff was very friendly. They were super busy with parties and it was a rainy day! It took approximately 1 hr to get my son?s chicken strip meal and cheese dippers (cheese garlic bead). My cheese dipper were burnt to a crisp and yet they were still served to me. Manager did make me a new order but I was still very disappointed.
It used to be Brunswick Lanes, now it has changed hands. I was just there for a birthday party but here is the skinny. The ?? was disgusting, I can recommend NOT ordering it enough. The chicken strips weren't bad, but being your own ketchup. It was watered down tomato paste, or unseasoned tomato sauce. Better yet eat before you go or bring your own food. Even the French fries sucked. On a positive note the shoes and lanes where impeccably clean.
Bowling alley is clean and high quality. Have issue for multiple games where they turned out the lights mid-game.
It was a great time enjoying the family staff was blast to they had a clean environment from inside all the way down to the lawn care thank you bowlero lakside
We held my daughter?s 12th birthday party here earlier this month and I was super impressed. First, the bowling alley has been completely remodeled since our last visit! The lanes were ready, they were welcoming and made it so easy to host almost 20 sixth graders. The food we ordered was set up on a great buffet with warmers right behind our lanes and was delivered at the exact time they committed to. Sodas were promptly refilled, stuck bowling balls promptly retrieved, and the kids had a great time! I high
for a bowling alley this place was definitely pretty good and above average for a bowling alley, unfortunately that still doesn't mean 5 stars but if u want to bowl and want a good enough experience I'd recommend this place
I loved it. It was amazing experience here. We enjoyed a lot. We were in group of 4 people so it was competition between us. It doubles the enjoyment. We tried cauliflower wings here was good actually.
They hosted our massive work event on a Wednesday evening, had plenty of staff and great food, lots of fun!
It's very nice, it's fun, there are other games besides bowling, the guys at the restaurant and the lady at the counter are very friendly.
Great place to bowl. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved that they play music videos including k-pop!
Bowlero is such a fun place to hang out! The vibe is super cool, with a modern take on bowling that makes it feel fresh and exciting. The lanes are awesome, and the lighting really sets the mood for a great time. The food and drinks are on point too?lots of tasty options, from classic snacks to more filling meals. The staff is really friendly, which adds to the overall experience. Whether you're there for a night out with friends or a party, Bowlero is definitely a go-to spot for a fun night!
I had a great experience at this bowling alley. It seemed like everything was newer and the inside was super spacious. They have a lot of lanes, and this is great except for when you have to find a ball. When I went, the balls were already at the lanes, and there were hardly any back on the ball racks, even when almost nobody was there. So I had to go searching in other lanes for my sized ball. Other than that, I had a solid 9/10 bowling alley pizza and great fries. Everything was great fr.
Staff was amazing. Every member I came in contact with was in good spirits. Obvious representation of good management. Food was decent with good portions for the price. Facilities clean and in good condition. Advanced lane reservations is what brought me here over others but I'll return for the good vibes.
My granddaughter had a great time
Had the best time with our church group girls night out. The staff was super patient with us. It's a clean fun atmosphere and there's something for everyone. I will definitely be back with the family.
Staff is lazy and incompetent. Dirty. Outdated. Understaffed. I recommend going elsewhere
I hate writing this review as I don't like to bash businesses. But I feel like if I'm spending money in an establishment I expect the workers to at least be friendly. We went there with our grandkids and spent $100 to bowl 1 game, pizza, and drinks. Everybody that we had to interact with was awful. (Except Bailey). They acted like we were bothering them and hated their jobs. We waited over 15 minutes to even get checked into a lane and the person in front of us left from waiting so long to be checked into a
Very clean and well organized, easy to find right ball.
Rude waitstaff and manager. Ordered a pizza and pitcher. The attendant said no words and placed a small pepperoni pizza infront of me and left to retrieve my pitcher. She returned the pitcher to me with no words. I took the pitcher and beer assuming it was my pepperoni pizza and beer combo. She came 30 minutes later to rudely inform us we had take food that wasn't ours and delivered our pizza. We apologized and offered to return the pizza as we were full and had no intention to steal food, she stormed off.
Came in to bowl a couple games on a date night and we had a blast! The bartender (can't remember his name) was SO nice and he came over to check on us at our lane when it was slow. Great service and we'll definitely be back!
We had our 11th year old birthday party there today and it was the best party ever!!! The staff was so helpful and patient with us with the numerous requests we had. Big shout out to the gentleman that worked at the shoe station, we had to maneuver with so many shoe sizes and he was so nice and quick with our requests!!! Zach and the lady (I believe Madison? :)) also made sure we were well taken care of with the food. The girls had so much fun and loved everything at the party, especially the cookie cake! F
Came here with a group of friends and we had an amazing experience! We did the Sunday Funday and got a $5 arcade card with shoes included. Pricing was a bit much, but worth it! Would highly recommend for parties or just a night out!
The inside looks nice. I've bowled with a school field trip before. Attempted to take my family but they book all lanes online. Cost for 5 for an hour and a half was about $165. A bit ridiculous compared to other bowling allies in the area.
Went here with a group over the weekend. This location is nice and clean with plenty of spacing between lanes. The front counter was busy but friendly. They took care of shoes, one minor issue that came up with our lane and payments very quickly. The bowling lanes were set up like normal. The monitor was easy to use for us to input bowlers and keep score. I like that they had a dedicated area to get your ball and they identified finger size and weight on each ball. I was able to find one that fit my hand
The cost is ridiculous. I brought my own shoes and still paid $30 for 3 games. Also, I called three different days to check about if the alley had any open bowls or league nights on the night I wanted to come, and they NEVER answered their front desk phone. I will not be back.
Went here for a date night with my girlfriend. Not only was having a lane for an hour and a half noticeably more expenisve than other bowling alleys only 10 minutes or so away, but the food was way overpriced. I ordered 1 large fry with cheese and it was $16.30, atleast it was hot and came decently quick. Not only this, but my lane wasn't properly functioning for 25+ minutes and it took 2 complaints for the staff to do anything about it, I wasn't even offered anything for the inconvience of paying $63.90 fo
Bowlero was wonderful and saved the day when our son?s 9 year old birthday party got rained out in a sudden pop up thunderstorm. Even though we hadn't reserved a party, they brought out the party signs for us and were so kind! The venue is clean, the staff were all friendly, courteous and professional. 100% recommended! Thanks for making it ?the best birthday party ever!?
We recently switched over our league to Bowlero and from the moment we walked in the door we knew we made the right decision. Staff from top to bottom are some of the nicest we have ever met. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. Location next to a driving range is perfect. My league is thrilled to start bowling here
Love bowling! And this place did not disappoint! Fun atmosphere, friendly staff and lots of food and drink options! Definitely recommend!!
Being my first time there was a good experience. Our group had lots of fun and the atmosphere was great to. Food was good but a little pricey. But all and all we had a good time.
Nice and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Only thing is that the prize machine for the arcade is not very well-stocked and frequently sparse.
Looks pretty but is very outdated. We had a party that used 4 lanes and you have to use a card to open them.. after everyone had payed we were told we still have 10 games to pay for. We double then triple checked everyone to make sure they paid we missed one kid that we fixed and paid for. It was absolutely embarrassing to stand up there arguing because I didn't want to pay $90 when it had already been paid. They have no way of checking people off when they have already paid so if you ask them who have not
Had a small group for my daughter?s sixth birthday at this location. The facility was clean and the staff was kind and helpful. The social distancing method the business went by was well thought out and easy to follow. Thanks guys for the hard work you do with keeping that facility running and entertaining.
Nice place, clean and employees' are very nice.
We had a party there for my sons kindergarten graduation. It was a wonderful experience, hospitality was great, very friendly staff. Food and drinks were good. There were absolutely no issues and everyone from the kids to the adults, had a BLAST. We will be going back.
I think this place is understaffed. Limited bowling balls. But apart from that, this place is good to have a good time with friends. Food and beer was average. It has arcade options too.
I know many establishments are short on staff and I absolutely understand and sympathize with this. That is; however, no excuse for rudeness. Snack bar staff extremely short with me and complaining to anyone who will listen. Twenty-three dollars later for 5 of the smallest chicken wings I've ever seen, about a dozen or so French fries and a small drink. Bowling was great and so was front desk staff. Disappointed in the rest.
Very happy with our experience at Lakeside. We had a family of 11 (with 2 babies) birthday celebration and everything was very organized, tasty food served at our lanes & lots of fun! We brought our own cake & high chairs which worked out perfect for the littles?I highly recommend for a group event!
This place is awesome! However tonight got the manager was really rude to me personally. He talked to me like a child and I didn't really appreciate it. He had a pony tail and just overall not nice. I manage two fast food restaurants and understand frustration but this was uncalled for.
Place is unfathomably bad. Everything costs 2-3x what other places do. $5-7 games daily is laughable. Automatic 18% gratuity added to every tab. The lanes are horrible, no pop to the pins or lanes. Paint is still not done after 2 years. Blue tape and unfinished walls all around. Stay away from this place. Others in the area are much better.
Ive never been the type to write a review. The place was dirty. The bathrooms were dirty. The game room closed early as well as the kitchen. The customer service who i could only believe was a manager was not great. Employees cleaning so close to us we were uncomfortable to bowl. We arrived over an hour before close. $25 dollars to bowl one game for two people. Yeeesh Only good thing was prompt and friendly bartender along with the beer being cold.
Nice, clean facility, including the bathrooms! Great customer service. Prices are high on food, but the food is better quality than your average bowling lanes. Try the hot wings if you like spicy goo! Drinks were priced a little higher too, but it goes with the nicer facility and customer service. I would go there again!
I'm not sure what her name was at the desk but she was taller with shoulder length blonde hair. So incredibly rude for no reason from start to finish. I'm not sure if she had something against people of color but she talked nice to other customers but kept an attitude with us.
My daughter and I had a relaxing night of bowling on a Friday night to cap a busy week. It wasn't busy, so we reserved a lane at 9:30 and bowled until they turned the lights off at midnight, lol.
My family and I have always had a love for bowling. Every year we used to go to West County Lanes but had a falling out with their customer service, so we decided to give out Bowlero on Dougherty Ferry a try. It turns out, they're the one of the best bowling centers in all of St. Louis. The staff is super helpful and kind, including a standout manager with the name of Lauren. She was super nice and helped all of us figure out what we needed and had an awesome experience. We will definitely be returning agai
First, our group a had a great time for the birthday event we were there for, buuuuttt there could be some improvements. As I mentioned it was an event for my birthday that we paid a good amount of money for for 11 people to bowl for 3 hours. Not once anywhere did it say or mention that it was my birthday, which on signing up it was asking about whose birthday it was so I thought maybe they would have a little sign or something. You couldn't hear any of the music the entire time during bowling which was dis
Thank you so much for supporting Special Olympics Bowling! The kids loved it, and I loved the tasty food and fun atmosphere! The staff was there to help at every turn! Our athletes felt like big winners! They still talk about that awesome day!!!
Need more staff. Poor guy working on new years day was running a solo shop
Could not review lower if I tried. They had one person working on a Friday night. We waited 20 mins to be served. Refused to alter our $200 charge when we had two less people than we booked and all around terrible service. Big chains taking over local alleys and providing soulless service not caring about customers.
I used to come here's a kid. It's always been fun. I brought my husband here today for the first time. Still fantastic ??
Nice arcade games. The employees were helpful. There was a wait for bowling because the place was so busy. We were called over the speaker when it was our turn (we only waited 15 minutes). During our game, our lane blacked out 3 times, but they gave us a discount on our game. We had a great time.
The food was good and the atmosphere was good and clean. I recommend it to anyone for a party or just a good time.
Our family had a great time at Bowlero. My son won a huge stay puft man out of the claw machine and it made his night! The employees were so nice. We will definitely be back.
We had to wait about a half hour even though there were 14 open lanes. That was the only thing that was under the bowling alleys control, but the group next to us had 5 little kids that ran all over the place and the parents were too drunk to control them.
Reservation was nice, all ready to go when we arrived. Place was clean and bowling was fun! 6 people in our lane was a little cramped with another large party sharing the ball return. Bar is overpriced but drinks were cold. Drink specials to make up for the high prices would get the 5th star.
I recently bowled a charity event here. The facility is nice, plenty of parking, clean, and modern. I added a review here to comment on the Pro-Shop. I didn't have a bad or good experience here, but I was dumbfounded that the pro-shop wasn't open when we had a couple of hundred people in the facility. They definitely missed out on potential sales. I had an insert come out of my ball during the event and was hoping they were in, but no dice!
The wait staff acted like they had a personal bone to pick with almost every customer I witnessed them interact with. I was chastised for requesting jalape?os on my fries. Like.. what? I'll pay an up charge I don't get the issue? The maintenance tech acted angry when we had problems. I normally go to Sunset Lanes and I'm a regular bowler so I'll just be going to the alley where the staff is friendly. I'm not an entitled customer but the staff treated me like an enemy or something. Ridiculous! 0/10
Haven't been to a bowling alley in a looong time but visited two bowlero locations recently and both were quite the upgrade from the old days! So clean, family friendly.. the kids had a blast and adults did too. Makes me want to bowl more!
I've always had a good time here. They have over 30 lanes, an arcade, lockers, and a bar. Good bowling alley food - I love the loaded fries - and good drinks at the bar. For the kids, there is an arcade with games that are fun and easy to win, with a prize vending machine that seems to satisfy them. They also offer bumpers, light balls, and bowling frames for the littlest bowlers. We had some trouble with balls getting stuck, but the staff was very responsive. We've also had birthday parties here and
Had a great time with my family, the workers were nice and we had a delicious dinner between games. Our family will definitely be back for another great time at Bowlero.
I haven't been bowling in a while, but was very surprised by how expensive it was! Spent about $45 for 2 people to play 2 games plus shoes. The place is fine, but pretty pricey.
Attended a birthday party for my granddaughter here and it was lot of fun. The manager was very attentive and made sure the food and dessert were timely. It was a good time and the kids had tons of fun!
I'm honestly not sure if this place has a thing against people with Groupons or people of color. Not only did we receive terrible customer service, but we were down right lied to about their hours. We overheard the manager complaining (in earshot of us) about people coming in with Groupons. Then, he came over and told the guy working the desk to inform people with Groupons they had to leave by 5pm. We had already waited for a lane for over an hour and it was after 3pm. This meant we'd be cheated out of the
A really nice place to have a child?s birthday party! My grandson had a blast today along with his friends and family that attended! The food was delicious also! Keep up the good work and just maybe my grandson will want to do this again next year for his 8th birthday!! Today was fun!!! Thank you!
If you are a serious bowler trying to get good practice stay far away from this place!!! Games were 8.99 a piece and didnt have a drop of oil on them!! I guess they spent so much on TV's and electronics they cant afford lane oil... a pitcher of beer was 18 dollars.... total waste of time for a serious bowler... I guess if your just a family man trying to take your kids to a chuck e cheese type atmosphere it's fine but if you take bowling seriously it's the worst place on earth you can go
The wait on a Friday night is crazy and the staff seems to be too busy to answer any questions. With that said I must also point out that anyone would and could be stressed by that and after we finally got a lane, we had a blast. Foods not bad at all and drinks are cheap.
Nice bowling alley however their weekend prices are getting absolutely outrageous. It now costs nearly $7 per person PER GAME and $5 to rent shoes unless you do one of their unlimited ?specials? so plan on bowling a lot if you want to get your money?s worth. It also seems like they only do cosmic bowling the majority of the time. I liked this place a lot better when it was Brunswick Zone.
It's a good place. It's clean and the experience is what you'd want at a bowling alley. The people on both sides of us threw the bowling ball while the machine was trying to clear the pins, but the staff helping were patient and even joked about it with the customers. If you're going, wait until 8 pm for the unlimited bowling because otherwise you're paying a lot for bowling lol.
So here's my complaint I went there when I was a kid and had a good time it was always a good time when I was a kid go and Brunswick Bowl now it's changed hands and also we all know that inflation has become a huge factor in a lot of things and you know business is still business people are still trying to charge they have to keep their doors open but I would say that if anybody was ever asked hey what if you go to a bowling alley and you ran a pair of shoes and you get a one game then you're playing one ga
Clean, nice place for fun
Fun time! Didn't like that they automatically added a tip to all food and bar orders. Worst part, you have no idea how much they were charging. Otherwise all was good.
Was impressed by the looks and feel of the place but the prices are outrageous! 20$ for a pitcher of golden light?!?! 14$ for domestic?!? And 14$ for my meal which was a tiny pizza and a side of fries?!? Im a regular at concord lanes and switched up for a change with some buddies. We could all tell a difference in lanes, later found out the wood is synthetic. Screwed my whole game up. Needless to say my experience wasn't matched by the amount of money i spent for the night. Honestly consider lowering the pr
Almost $55 for one game of bowling for 4 people. Bowling used to be the cheap thing to do. The alley is very understaffed, which is normal now a days. I felt bad for the workers as you could tell they were stressed out. For the price, we will not be going back. Absolutely ridiculous
Took the kids at my school on a field trip. They were very accommodating to our students' needs and very on top of everything. It is also very clean here and the staff are friendly.
Manager Bob Quinn, Lauren, Zach and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing! They insure that each and every guest has a truly exceptional experience! The facility is fantastic. I absolutely love the cosmic bowling. Our league has really grown because of all of the above! Mark Medeiros
It was very crowded. Alot of (Birthday?) parties going on at once. Not that crazy about the somewhat remodel. Wish they wouldn't of gotten rid of the couchs they had. Can't bend my one leg so the couch was perfect for me changing shoes. The chairs at the lane tables are horrible. Don't like them at all. Move way too much.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
