Went to Bowlero last Thursday with the family for our first time bowling, and we had a great experience! Even though it was league night and a lot of the lanes were taken, Adam at the front desk was super helpful and informative. He made sure we knew what to do and got us set up as quickly as possible. The atmosphere was fun, the food was solid, and despite how busy it was, the staff kept everything running smoothly. Dominick at the snackbar was also great?super friendly and got our order out quickly. While
Sooo my fianc? and I were trying to use a Groupon that he bought months ago before it expired. Our first attempt a few weeks ago did not go so well. When we arrived at Bowlero the young man at the front desk informed us that the Groupon could not be used after a certain time and he seemed somewhat nonchalant about it. While I am aware that the rules are the rules as someone that has worked in customer service for MANY YEARS you should always at least attempt to accommodate the customer, especially if it mea
Recently went to Bolero in Glendale Heights with my son and grand children. 3 pairs of rental shoes and 10 games of regular price bowling came to $132.00 which I thought was a bit pricey There was a large sign that read Bowl 2 games, 3rd game 1/2 price. That was the only reason we bowled a 3rd game. Long story short, we bowled the 3 games because it was 1/2 price but were charged full price. The desk clerk told that you had to notify the front desk if you were going to bowl 3 games. Since I gave them my cre
Super nice, new and clean bowling alley! Pepperoni pizza and drinks were really good. Food was a touch more expensive than other places we've bowled, but our family thought it was well worth it. Very friendly service! We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was not very busy. About $8 a person and about $6 for shoes per person. Great time, will go again!
I came Sunday night, 1/19 at about 8pm. There was a big party of people being tended to by one cashier and another young man opened up and said he could take the next paying group. My friend and I stepped up, paid and we asked what lane we'd be on, in which he replied that they would figure it out in a second after everyone had paid. We just agreed and stepped off to the side for 10 minutes. Within that ten minutes, 3 other parties of people came and were sat at their lanes. We finally step back up to the c
I have to make a public shout out to the wonderful experience we had last night! It was our first time to a Bowlero, first time bowling in ages and our 5yo first time ever bowling. I can't say we went in with any conscience expectations, but in hindsight we probably did have some. Kaylee and Klaudia at the front desk were great! We got a full run down of specials and our options from Kaylee. Even some advice on how our first timer 5yo could have the most fun. Kaylee and Klaudia were super attentive to every
Can never get a lane. Multiple days and different times. 3 cars in parking lot, 2 people bowling in whole place. No lanes available. Dont bother calling beforehand, they do not answer. No proshop. I work 1 minute away. I drive to stardust instead
I always visit this facility, even though it's a bit out of my way. It's very clean, the staff is beyond friendly, and the lanes are always very nice to bowl on. I truly have nothing but good things to say about this Bowlero, I always have a great experience, every time!
Really nice place to take your kids.
Okay bowling alley just overly expensive, 10$ per person even if one game is played. Even woodale bowl is reasonably priced in comparison to this. Don't go here unless you're expecting to overpay!
When we were approached by a man talking about his family we were welcoming and talking highly of the bowling alley. After said ?man? stole our drinks off the table to take for himself nothing was said by the staff. After resolving the drink issue on our own and bringing it up to staff upon leaving for the evening , we were told he was a regular and it happened often. Nothing was done to resolve the issue with us and staff said it wasn't an issue. There was no refund issued or anything of the sort while thi
Service was terrible. Especially with the food. Anytime we asked or tried to order something on the menu, we were told they weren't making it. My husband ordered nachos and it looked disgusting. ?Steak? was more like a mystery meat/jerky. They made their own tortillas chips but the cheese and chili looked?.bad! Will not be returning.
Clean environment. Lane machine had a few hiccups but I was able to correct the scoring. It was my, 3yrs old daughter's first experience at the Bowling Alley and she loved it. We used the toddler ramp to launch the ball. After our game we played in the arcade. We asked for a printout of our game because the screen goes straight into asking for the next game to start. We will be back.
Booked a reservation here recently as a first time visitor on a busy holiday. Very easy to make the reservation and check-in upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of attention and service from the staff at this location. Kenny and Kaylee, specifically! Thanks to them, my group and I had a wonderful night. Clean location, well-organized lanes and building. Highly recommended!
This Bowlero is great! They always do their best to help accomodate when we bring in a group and always help us have a great time. Kaylee and Selina up at the front helped a ton with organizing when we brought in a big party and Marsha kept the drinks flowing at the bar. When we needed snacks Danta, Sarah, and Angie were there to help. The great service and good times are what keep us coming back!
I have been bowling at this center for over 9 yrs because of Carol Stream closing down. We have always been treated with the best customer service. Truly a great group of employees that care. Please keep up the great work.
Super nice staff. One employee noticed that all balls are too heavy for me and he brought one lighter without asking him about that. The lady from ther bar was also nice and funny. It was clean and family environmental. I visited several theie lications, but this is my favourite.
We overcharged and uninformed. The lady at the front told us $10 per game plus $6 per shoe rental. I did not hear her say it was $10 per person per game. And even then, they charged us for 14 games when based on their pricing (that I was only aware of once checking out), we only played 13 ?games?. I truly recommend going anywhere else, support a local bowling alley before getting scammed here. Additionally, we ordered food and beverages. Our beverages were fine, but we got the pretzel and cheese and the pr
The staff was fun and nice. $6 a game on Tuesday night with plenty of space. Great experience.
This is generally the best bowling alley in the area. It's fun to go and I would also recommend getting their summer pass it'll save you a ton of money. The food is a little expensive so don't go there hungry.
Great place to have fun guys. Good prices good food free parking
Kaylee was exceptional! Very friendly and accommodating! We will be back!
Went bowling last week, it was a very fun experience with nice lanes. Klaudia at the front desk was very helpful when my lane malfunctioned.
Yesterday Friday we decided to stop by with a groupon Voucher. It was an hour wait due to the tournaments and the reservation from people. It gave us time to eat as we waited in the eating area. The person at the counter was very nice, easy going and took the voucher and gave us our shoes with no problems. Once we started to play, we started encountering issues with the pins not loading correctly. Then we experienced after the first throw the pins would reset. We let Kenny know about the issues and he co
Staff is fantastic and attentive. Bathrooms need repair plumbing and HVAC.
Don't eat the food. Straight garbage, especially the nachos. Stay far away from the so-called steak. Looks like dog food. Lanes are ok but the people who work there no nothing g and had to go ask someone's to get the answer
Excellent place to spend with friends and family. We had a great time.
Friendly staff but very dated place. For 2 people to play 4 games, 2 pairs of shoes, and 2 beers it was $107. Absolutely crazy
Everything is so expensive I mean we played 2 games of pool cuz no lanes were open and it was $30 then when lanes opened up they wanted to charge $17 per person to bowl .....will not come back here again
I wonder how the bowlers can talk to each other much less hear themselves think. The music is blaring all the time at one end of the bowling alley, quiet at the other end and apparently there is nothing management can or will do about it. What a pity. If you want your ears blown out, Bowlero in Glendale Heights is the place to go. (OSHA) ??
Great place! We had fun time!!!!! Will come back again! Thank you!!!!??
Very nice and spacious bowling alley, had the last event for bowling team here, it was a fun time!
This bowlero is undoubtedly one of the nicest centers I've been to. Staff is attentive and always is there to help when needed. Had a small issue and they fixed it right away and got us back on track. Definitely would recommend calling ahead, as they are a little busy on the weekend but this is a great place for friends and family. 12/10 service.
Fun, clean and very family friendly. Danny the GM is happy to cater to young children and they have the bumper systems that can go up/down based on each bowler. Food is actually pretty good (get the sampler platter) as well. Lots of high-level bowlers there as well so it's a great fit for all skillsets.
Great lanes, good prices. The deals they have for Monday and Tuesday nights are great and it is always a fun atmosphere.
Very relaxed and the server was very attentive.
Draft beer needs to be colder. The shot needs to be harder.
Danny Bailey the manager and Kaylee that works the front desk were so helpful and kind to us as it was our first time at a bowling alley in a longggg time. The place was clean and fun and had awesome throw back music! Great place for a date night or a fun night with the whole family! Would give 100 stars if I could.
Great clean and family friendly bowling center! I just started bowling again as a substitute on my friend's league (was on league 30+ years ago) and was impressed on how clean the facility is. Danny (operations manager) was very friendly and professional. Will definitely be back more often with the family.
Delicious drinks, cheap bowling (shoes included) after 8- close, decent food served to your lanes. The manager and other employees were very friendly. I only wish I still had my nine lb ball, because I couldn't find a medium finger one for the life of me. I know... grow up, right?
We went about 5pm on a Friday so it wasn't too busy. The food was delicious. We had chicken wings and pizza with drinks. We couldn't have enough of that. Shoes, sitting area, the boards, the bowling balls, everything just worked right. Great customer service. Very welcoming. And considering my experiences in the UK where I live, I thought this was a great first experience at a bowling alley in the US.
We came here today to celebrate my mother?s birthday and had a couple of toddlers with us. The manager was great and so accommodating. We also have a food allergy in our group and the kitchen staff was very helpful.
Kota and Carly are awesome and amazing! They're always on top of there stuff and making sure that not only league bowlers are taken care of but everyone watching as well. They always have a smile on their face and interacting with all guests in the building.
We just threw my son's 5th birthday party here and had the best time! The manager Kim and her staff made the experience fun and extremely easy for us to just just show up and have a great time. We were lucky enough to book on their kids bowling day so we had the extra perk of a character to interact with and more goodies for our birthday guests. The food was fantastic and set up perfectly with labels and decorations. Everything was clean and even bowling balls were waiting on the lanes for the little kids a
One star for the manager guy. Staff is great! Overall was a pleasant place for us to spend money. At the end, they don't really care about customer service. Only thing they care is money. Don't worry manager guy, we are not coming back ever again. You are the one who said that, not us!
I felt so welcomed here, it was my son's first time playing bowling, he loved it! And to Kaylee, I think that's how you spell her name, and to the other employees, I just wanna say thank you for making my son happy, and at ease. Loved the atmosphere!
Fam, loved our time there. Even with league night, we had 2 lanes, good food & drinks, prompt service. Staff was courteous and helpful. They talked to the kiddos with a sense of curiosity & helpfulness. Even when the oldest "cheated" the arcade game, for the youngsters' glee. The arcade is reminiscent of Alladin's Castle, from our youth. The prize counter ladies were cheerful. The bartenders never rushed us.
We had a family outing where there was a miscommunication. Supposed to be unlimited bowling after 10PM, but because of holiday hours this was not in place. I informed Daniel Bailey of the situation and he was able to help us with phenomenal service! I will be back with my family soon!!
Came here with the family, very nice young man at the counter. They have bumper bowling available, for our not so great but competitive children. We had drinks and a couple appetizers. Food came quickly and was fresh. Really good fries. Also stoped by the arcade, which was half priced on Wednesday. All in all 10/10 for some family fun!
Had a fun time here! Not overly packed, but definitely a popular spot. Good service and good food, especially for a bowling alley! I've had some not so great experiences at other places so it was quite a surprised. Has a nice amount of space per lane which made it easier bowling with a larger group. I nice perk is that you can order food, give them your lane number, and they'll bring it to you! I know some other locations use the buzzer system, but I appreciated the step up in service! Had a small arcade l
Wanted to let you know of the great service I received from Kaylee Perron and Dakota Perron Excellent customer service. Great attention to detail. And always willing to help anyway they can Great employees to have. And I hear this from several of the bowlers in the Friday night league
Not the best house I've bowled in, with racks going dark and the ball return chewing up my ball. It's a bowling alley at the end of the day, so just keep your expectations low and you'll be fine.
The place is a bit outdated, but it's bowling, arcade games, and bowling alley food. Overall, great staff, very polite and helpful all around. Great place to let kids burn some energy.
I organized a school event for students in my program and they had an amazing time! Staff was very attentive and provided an individualized experience for our group. They were very accommodating for our kiddos. Highly recommend.
Never really took busy. Usually the lanes work fine but we kept having issues with it not resting so most of the time we had to play was waiting for them to keep fixing it. The people that come here are not bad so you will not have any drama with drunks or those that seem to have social problems that are looking for attention or to cause problems to others.
Staff is not very smart when it comes to putting people in lanes. There will be a bunch of empty lanes. They will insist on putting people right next to you so now everybody is packed together. Now you can't bowl your allocated time because you have to wait for people next to you to bowl. They also lie to you and say other lanes are not working that's why we put them there. Then you see them put people on those lanes...what now they work. Place is way too expensive. And the crowd of people that packs thi
Always have a great time coming in for a leauge night Kaylee makes it a fun an welcoming environment every week. She is great interacting with my kids and always goes above and beyond for the guests.
they have unlimited bowling on certain days and the drinks are on point
Haven't bowled in a long time.. They fixed this place up. Very clean, friendly and better then I thought. Nice game room for kids. Pool table Video gaming Balls and prices could be a bit better..
Friendly staff, decent selection of bowling balls, everything was maintained well and clean. The lanes themselves were well oiled and the approach was smooth and free of scuff marks or debris. Planty to do for none bowlers or if you have to wait for a lane. The food was above average for this type of venue. We had a lot of fun and rekindled my joy of bowling.
Kaylee needs to be trained on customer service. Very bad attitude. I've been to 4 Bowleros. This by far was the worst one. Corporate needs to visit this location. I'm sure they would not be happy. Also the shoes are peeling inside and out and were sticky and dirty. Kaylee also refused to reset our game when a ball was stuck on our second player. She stated that she wouldn't reset it until the bowling shoes were put on however that player was in the restroom. Smh Someone from corporate please take a look at
Took some out of town guest to visit. Great time from start to finish. Kaylee it was amazing at the counter and Dakota served some great drinks.
I come here all the time to bowl with my uncle and the staff is always very friendly. We like to do the all you can bowl specials. This location is always very clean. Would recommend coming here!
Went here for a little gathering afterwork was easy to get to and find. We ordered ahead on Groupon for a group discounted rate in which it included 2hrs bowling and rental. Overall it was a nice place to hangout with a group of friends and family after work. It wasn't so crowded especially with it being a Friday night and the leagues were over with already. I haven't bowled in awhile and it brought back a lot of memories
I came there with my grandson and my daughter and my son to go to the arcade while my husband was bowling and it was a very very good time. The the employee who worked in the shop I believe his name was Scott was very informative and helpful when I asked for help.
The guy who was running this place single-handledly gave such great customer service! He was patient with the children and obliging...anticipating any request. We will be back and I'm so glad that a place like this, where everyone can have fun, exists in our community.
Older bowling alley. Lanes always available. Great staff. Always accommodating, great that they leave buffer lanes. Especially when there are kids or beginner bowlers. Great deals. Nice league options with free weekly games. Update back again. Lanes are even older. Lanes still plenty. Staff? IDK. Ball got stuck. Pushed the service. Waited a minute. Walked up. K could care less. Fortunately just a few scratches. No gouges this time.
I give it a 4-1/2. Ordered the sampler and it was great. The family all enjoyed it, not one complaint. That's rare. Used the Groupon special and we had fun for 2 hours. They sell socks btw if you forgot yours. The only reason didn't get a 5 was the food and drink prices were a little bit high. But highly recommended.
Kaylee and Jenna are the best ones here by far:)
It's always a great experience!
We had a party of 10 and had a great experience with the space and staff. They were attentive and asked multiple times if we needed anything. Some of our group was running late so they gave us extra time to play.
I mean, who doesn't love bowling. Great staff that are accommodating and friendly. Nice lanes and all the equipment works.
When you arrive, it looks like a ghost town. It's on a busy road but the lanes seem to feel all alone. When you walk in. You see all lights and videos and everything and it switches up your mood quickly. I had a great time here! F It was a fun atmosphere(they could pick better music) and good food. Bowling is always fun. My two complaints were that the staff was simply a staff and didn't go out of their way to greet and be friendly to their guests. In addition to that, the other thing is that the bathroom
This alley is a pretty good one. We came at a time during leagues, so there was a little bit of a wait time, didn't mind. They have a great selection of food. I got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it was great. The lanes are very good quality, didn't have a lane malfunction once. The only complaint I have is the staff was not very friendly. But overall, I would recommend.
We had our daughter?s 15th b-day party here - everything was great! Super friendly and attentive staff, good food and good time bowling, cute decorations and, according to the teenagers, even the music was great. Everyone loved Dave.
We called two days prior about the 9pm special to see what the process is to get the lanes at 9pm. They said ?as long as you are in the building before 9pm you can put your name down for the 9pm special?. When Friday came along, I came in AT 7:30PM and asked the front desk if I can put my name down and she says ?you don't have to put your name down, it's first come first serve basis. As long as you are here at 9pm you will get a lane?. I go to the desk AT 8:59PM and ask for a lane and the lady says there's
Very cool bowling alley. Nicely lit with updated scoring screens. Nice food station with good selections on the menu. They have a separated video gaming room for adults. Liquor is also sold here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking in front of the building. Plan on having a good time when you come. ????
Friendly staff, fair prices. Not too many house balls to pick from but still a fun spot. Brought the family there and had plenty of room. They also have an arcade with a good selection of games
What a great place to bring the family, and start a team for league bowling. Its nice to have bowling back in Glendale Heights. Just a good place to go out and get away at night time or in the afternoon. I hope the surrounding schools bring their students here, as was offered to us when were were in school. Oh the staff treated me very well when I came in just to ask a few question, elderly are so welcome. One thing that hurt a bit, was the price for a line of bowling, but like everything else. Since I las
I went here today with my friends we were having a good time and I decided to order food at 8:37 I ordered chicken tenders, fries, and 2 drinks the prices were pretty high I paid around $30 for my food the lady was pretty nice and said my food would be ready and brought to my table in 10-15 min. We ended our game and the food still wasn't there and I had to leave already so I went to the counter and kindly said ?excuse me? to the only person making the food there the guy rudely said ?wait !? And rolled his
Held our church outing here and we had so much fun! Staff are great in accommodating our needs and they are so friendly! We will definitely plan our next get together here and will recommend them.
Lots of lanes, clean, fun and great customer service! Kaylee went above and beyond, she gave us extra time to finish our games! Will be coming back again for sure!
It was nice to see people out bowling again, and this was an old Brunswick, and Bowlero has done one fantastic job of making it a family bowling ally , by getting all the pool tables out, as you could see that the people that were playing pool there, were not a good clientele. Don't get me wrong there are goid pool players . Yet too many were chasing the family's away. Bowlero is a real nice place, and many games for kids to even have a kids party. Yes since I was a kid prices have changed, but its just t
Very very very friendly! A perfect place to bring the family and have a good time. The food does take a little long but it's definitely still worth it!!
First time here to bowl with family. The staff was very nice and Tom was very helpful. My granddaughter had a blast. We enjoyed the food as well. We are looking forward to bowling here again!
This place was great, looks lonely from outside but inside the staff were great. We went with a group of students, they were great made sure we were ok and if we needed something. The pizza was really good. The bowling was fun as well, nice screens and lane with black lights and music. Great place to take the family or group of students.
$5.49 a game. In the summer? No wonder the place is a ghost town. Men's bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Sticky floors, dried urine on the toilet seats. But really the worst is the cost. I've been bowling for 30 years, and I've never seen a price as high as that in the summer. Won't be back.
Be careful about the tab. We were told it was $7.99 per game and then when we went to checkout it was $7.99 per person per game. They definitely didn't tell us that in the beginning.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
