Customer Reviews

Front desk staff was very helpful. And the manager was very friendly and warm. No issues to report - bartender was attentive. I do miss having a ?booth? or something for each lane, having table and chairs just made it feel too open. But otherwise I'll be back here again!

The new manager here is a great guy...welcoming and provides excellent service...I stopped going to this place but now back in here again...highly recommend this alley!!!

It's my first time at this location and my last. The bowling was fun but I can't say the same about the service and food. The food was meh , it's what you would expect at any place with games and such. The service though is horrible because I ordered a kids pepperoni pizza and when I went to go and pick it up and the guy there told me this is your pizza and I took it (It was a full pie). When I went to give the pizza to my kids they started eating it and a guy came up I think the manager told us that, that

O joyous gathering, dear brothers, we convene, In this bowling alley, where laughter reigns supreme. But lo! My younger brother, with skill both bold and bright, Is killing it right now; he doth outshine our plight! ?? Alas, our father's age doth show, as he joins in the fight, His wisdom shines like silver, though his game lacks might. Yet still, in this vibrant haven, our spirits rise with glee, For every frame we share together, brings joy to thee and me. With lukewarm french fries and a power tower

Visited East Meadow Lanes a few days ago. What a nice experience. Lanes and bathrooms were clean. Great customer service, (Jimmy behind the desk is so friendly). A large league was coming in just as we left. Very nice spot for a date night.

I went on website and paid $160 for four people to use a lane for 2 hours. I thought that this was the only way to pay. Upon finishing my time I saw a sign saying the price per game if I had not used the website, It was about half of what I paid online. I asked man behind desk if he could adjust my charge and he smugly said ?no because I paid twice as much because i had the privilege of a reserved lane? I pointed out that the place was just about empty and he said it didn't matter. $160 + $50 on pizza and s

Let me tell ya, Bowlero is the real McCoy when it comes to bowling alleys. As soon as I walked in, I was blown away by the cool vibe and sleek d?cor. The staff was super friendly, giving us a hearty welcome with smiles. They were real pros at setting us up with the right size shoes and the perfect ball weight. The alley itself was cleaner than a whistle. I've been to plenty of bowling alleys before, but Bowlero takes the cake. The lanes were slick, and the balls rolled like a dream. The scoring system was

I personally bowl at the Bowlero East meadow location twice a week for league. Honestly, it's probably my favorite bowling alley to go to. The staff is super friendly and attentive, always willing to handle anything you may ask. The food and drinks are always great, and Jimmy, the manager, always make sure that my drinks are made properly and in the perfect sized glass. This place is the best.

What an Amazing Experience, especially for our 9 year olds birthday party!!! First, if you're going to have a PARTY damand Anthony, this man was the best, what service!!! The facilities are clean and well maintained, the parry package included bowling, food, icecream, video arcade and wven $5 per k9d to the next visit.

Came here on a Saturday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was satisfied with the overall cleaniless but my biggest issue was the drinks. We ordered a round of margs at $17/each. When the drink arrived their was a suspiciously obscene amount of ice in the cup. I went to the food counter and asked for a plastic cup... and without taking a sip that was the full amount of drink for the price. I told the manager that I would like a refund because 3 4oz drinks arent worth $51. Another young lady said she

The manager, Stephen, was fantastic. He accommodated our large party of several adults and children and made the experience memorable. We will be back.

It was fun and a good time killer? But they didn't have most of the food that was on their menu. Like their appetizer sampler only had boneless wings and the breadsticks or whatever they were?

My First time bowling and have to admit. This place was just lovely. Clean and staff was friendly. Half of the lanes was bright lighted and half was like Dark. We got the lane that was in the dark section and it added to the cool aura of the place. Definitely will be coming back on my own like once a week to try and get better cause I completely sucked. Lol

Fun for everyone. Enjoyed the bowling and the arcade.

I love working there it's interesting

Had a whole lot of fun with my 5 boys extremely spacious and after trying 2 others that were full to capacity it was the only one with availability to accommodate. Love it.

Bowlero East Meadow is a great classic bowling alley! I bowl league here (LI Kick) once a week and occasionally go here for a practice game or two on the weekends. The staff are all friendly and professional, especially Jimmy and Jason. The pro shop is nice, a bit on the small side but they're always willing to order something if it's not in stock. I've never tried the food or drinks since they're on the expensive side, but my league mates have and said that it's all tasty (just a bit on the slow side). Thi

Great experience great staff our go to spot

So I must say it was packed and this young lady Amber was making the food , taking orders, doing the drinks by herself for a while . This other lady and a few other staff came to help . It was await for the food but Jessica was really sweet refunded majority of my food order which I appreciate . So for the wait and cold fries , I didn't give 5 stars but I was appreciative with their generousity. I will come again . Just need more staff for weekend

We took our granddaughters for an afternoon activity. We all enjoyed the friendly competition.

Fun experience. My daughter loves the arcade

This is one of my favorite places to bowl. Friendly staff, great lane conditions amd very fun leagues. Great place. My only complaint is how much they charge for drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic ..its steep.

I had the best time, my scores were atrocious but I had a blast??

Very nice facility and people.

Nice place to take the family. Clean. Staff was also very nice.

Great winter leagues and updated inside including the arcade area. Food is decent too!!!

Clean good food fair price

I went on a day, and it was quiet and empty. Nice place. It's been a long time since I went bowling and like everything else, it's expensive. I'll go again when there's a special rate.

Fantastic experience at this location! I was here for a special 9 year old?s birthday bowling party. Staff was amazing and attentive to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious especially the chicken tenders and the pizza. I had so much fun.

Very well service and we'll organized and good for a party

LET?S GO JIMMY!!! BEST MAN IN THE PLACE

I went inside to ask for the specials and was told they close at 11 and google says 12- midnight. If your location is too busy for service just say that.

It was a really nice time that I had with my family today on 6/18. I was able to get a nice price for 2 hours of games with Shoe Rental for Six people via Groupon. The arcade was pretty cheap along with arcade and air hockey with reasonable credits to utilize in order to play. I also had a great time having Fries and Cookie since Fries are cooked in a separate oil rather than being shared which is technically Halal. The food had a reasonable price tag given that it's inside Bowling Alley. The staff was frie

Since we are still in the midst of a health situation this place failed all the health requirements. The overall atmosphere is dirty. The ladies bathroom was disgusting with no paper towels. Getting a lane the table was left completely filled with food and drink cups. The whole place needs a make over. The counter person was pleasant and helpful other then that not much to say about anything else.

Last place that accepted us on Sunday night on Labor Day eve! The place is alright. Food takes a little longer so order them right away if you insist eating there! Pricing is good and did not break our bank with 4 adults and 6 kids!!!

The wedsite has no updated information. I arrived to the place with my family and it was book for a league. I ask if theu have league every Wednesday and they said yes. So why not update your wedsite with schedule availability for families to come a enjoy.

This place is a very clean and fun place. Summer passes is something you shouldn't pass off as they are really good! My family and I go there everyday. They have free water, food is good. They have the neon lights on sometimes. They have good music. Basically I recommend trying out this place.

East Meadow bowling alley has great staffs! Everyone is very loving and friendly! Thank you Jason for your great services and very caring for your customers! The world needs more staffs like you Jason!! ??????

Nice place to bowl as far as the alley but the group before us were savage slobs. Food and drinks , kids bowling shoes all over the place. 20 balls in the return. How about teaching your kids some manners.

The man at the register was very rude and flustered he couldn't handle the small crowd that was there and kept having me wait and take other customers because he couldn't activate my play cards. Then he kept getting frustrated with me because he messed up. The lady preparing the food was also vvery irritable and flustered. After a while she sent the rest of the line to go order up front, very unprofessional. If they aren't able to manage why not hire more people? Customer service was terrible. The place

Came here with family and friends. It's a typical bowling alley. Staff was nice, seemed clean. Food wasn't the best but it's a bowling alley so don't expect much. If you like to bowel this is a good place. Had a lot of fun. If I go bowling again I will come back here.

I didn't go. I'm too sick to be around too many ppl. I looked up a spot for my nieces, and they went through. I don't care for bowling anyway, so I may never go, but they said it was OK. They liked the music the DJ played they said.

Bowling was nice and fun with friends but the whole experience was ruined by staff member Donna. She is not friendly whatsoever, has a stuck up attitude when assistance is requested, or if you have a question. Given that the place is visited by families and friends looking for a fun visit, she is not the right person behind the counter.

Always a fun time with family and friends. Nice staff

Horrible customer service!!! I went with my family and my mother?s wallet disappeared. When she noticed it was missing, my mom goes to the front desk and asks the manager to check cameras. She had all her personal stuff in her wallet and the manager said they are not allowed to check cameras. So my mom calls the police to check the cameras. It clearly shows that her wallet had fallen under the table, one of the employees noticed it fall and apparently was friends with the customers next to us. So the employ

Now I understand that if you don't have bowling shoes you should provide some disposable socks for customers I can't see myself paying $5for socks. I wanted my wife to play but she didn't have socks. Get some cheap disposable ones. On a separate note we had fun and I'll definitely be back. It's very clean and it wasn't noisy and reckless like other spots in the city

OMG! I had a great time! Nice and clean, good food. Friendly Staff. Yes I will be back and I ain't easy to please ??

The bowling alley was clean and well lite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rest rooms were very clean as well. All of the 6 lanes that my party was using worked without any issues. Definitely go bowling there. We will be back.

The lanes lack a little bit of oil but that's because it wasn't a busy day. They tend to oil it down when it's busier. The reason for my rating is the issue where they try to overcharge you for games you didn't play, in addition to you stating that you brought your own shoes in. This is why you count your own games.

We bowl in a league. Lots of fun

I found the staff to be very pleasant. The facility including the bathrooms were clean. I would definitely go back. Prices were reasonable. Keep up the good job.

I'm in the Tues afternoon senior "fun" league. It's anything but. We pay lineage, like the police league next to us, but the difference is while they get fresh oil every week, we get dry lanes, so we have no shot. This will be my first and last time bowling in this league, and I will no longer bowl in this house. Corporate owners should be made aware of this treatment. I'd like to amend my review: this past Tuesday there was oil... very little, I put more oil on my salad. Lanes were still very dry. Today,

DO NOT come here if you are from out of state and you're just trying to have a beer and bowl. They will damage your ID!!!! Snapped mine and my friend's. Even after calling and asking if they would accept our IDs after being denied at another alley, this is ridiculous. I've traveled across the country and have never had a problem with this. Since when do places not accept out of state IDs? And when did it become okay to damage other people's property? The manager here is completely out of line.

We had an all-inclusive that included two hours of bowling plus pizza and chicken wings for $25 a person. A pretty good deal until they charged us an "event fee" on the back end, which kind of made it not such a good deal. Lanes are in good condition and overall the place is nice for a bowling alley.

personally i love this place, great food (fries, mozzarella sticks) and frankly just a good vibe five stars

Good place to have a birthday party a fun time for all.

Not a bad place to bowl. Very big and spacious. Waaayyyyy overpriced!! $68 for 1 adult and two children for two games and charged for shoes for a 3 year old. I may open an alley in my back yard, might be cheaper.

Comparable to Whitestone bowling alley. Food was way overpriced for the quality (cleanliness) and service provided by establishment. $25 for a fried food platter. For this price you would think you can get service at the lanes. They had only one employee playing diner dash. She took food orders, cooked the food, and also took drink & liquor orders and made the drink orders as well. We all ordered the same drinks and it all came out in different size glasses.

Yea we suck at bowling But the beer was good ????

Nice bowling alley. Lanes are in good condition. Staff is friendly. Prices are a bit high, but that's Bowlero. Food is above average.

Such a nice place. Clean , the lanes work great. Staff is helpful.

Clean. Not crowded. Pretty updated. Typical junk food offering like pizza, pretzels, soda etc at concession bar. They host parties, have a bar area and arcade area. Staff are nice.

I have nothing but nice things to say about EM Lanes. A couple of people always come to mind. Donna and Angeline are so friendly and are very accommodating if there is a problem with the lanes. From a distance, I've seen how they treat other customers. They are amazing!! I have a league there on Wednesday nights and it's a great atmosphere to bowl at. I highly recommend this place if you like to bowl for fun, have a kids party, or even practice for league.

First time visit. We met for job get together. Had a good time. On Fridays there is unlimited bowling after 8pm. The bar is very SLOW and closes early.

SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE & THE WORKERS ARE NO BETTER! IT WAS VERY UNORGANIZED AND UNDER STAFFED! I HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY SON?S GAME CARD AND THE MANAGER DIDN?T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO COME THE PHONE AND SPEAK TO ME! THE WORKER BEHIND THE COUNTER TOLD ME SHE IS TO BUSY WORKING THE BAR & MAKING FOOD THAT SHE CAN?T COME! YOUR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE & I EXPECT TO HEAR BACK FROM SOMEONE SO THAT MY ISSUE CAN BE RESOLVED!

Love the cheap games on Sunday nights but it's typically busy around that time. I wish the food counter had more reasonable prices. A (small) bottle of Gatorade costs $4 when I could literally get it for 98? at Walmart. That's a high mark up for a juice drink let alone the foods they sell.

Enjoyed my visit with my family , staff was very friendly managers were amazing one staff member , the lane server , Jason , was very helpful

decided to come bowl with a group of 5 friends, came Friday evening (12/23) around 10pm. two people working at the front desk seemed like a manager and an employee both very helpful and accommodating. unfortunately when we went to the bar the service was horrendous. i wish i got the woman bartenders name. she was very rude when my two friends went up to order two pitchers of beer, ignored them for 3 minutes before taking their order when the bar was completely empty then giving them an attitude when asking

I must say this place is very expensive. I took my daughter and her friend and we spent 50$ on two games. We had a great time bowling, clean lanes. Clean bathrooms. Pizza was okay, we requested it well done and unfortunately it didn't come that way.

The alley is OK and has been somewhat renovated but you can still tell it's a well worn alley. The new arcade is jammed into the bar area and there are no walls to block the noise during league nights. Being on a league their is meh as well they are run OK but the biggest problem on league nights is the impossiblity of finding a waitresses. There is sometimes one if your lucky and she is so overwhelmed you're better off going to get your own stuff. Then again the snack bar is a mess and even asking for a p

Went on a Friday evening (around 8pm) and had a good time. My girlfriend and I played 3 games. The shoe rental plus the games cost us $60 total, which is kind of expensive. The bowling alley does have nightly specials though that make it more worth your while. I'd check into those before going again.

Really nice arcade for kids to run around and have a good time it was a little crowded on the lanes had to wait a little more than normal bar is fun to hangout at

Great service, clean seating and good food. The cookies could have been better, it was a bit dry, overall great place to bowl with friends or by yourself.

Horrible customer service. I gave them 2 stars because the facility is well maintained. The employees working behind the desk have no clue on how to operate the point of sale system and they treat their repeat customers like trash. I use to bowl here at least 2-3 times a week for the past 6-8 months and now I'm reluctant to even step foot in this place if it wasn't for the great pro shop. Corporate needs to retrain their staff or hire new employees that know what the meaning of customer service is. My wif

Great place to take your family. Had my son's birthday party there. Everything was great!

It was a nice experience specially it being the first I went there, they were quick and nice when we needed help. Also put different types of music and staff overall was very helpful

Great fun night......

It was a nice first experience, friendly and helpful staff. Adequate amount of Lanes to accommodate lots of people. Looking forward to going again.

Went to watch grandson bowl here. Looks like a nice place. Has a snack bar. Grandson Caleb age 7 bowled great.

The best place great food good people and great environment for family.

Great place. Safe clean fun area for kids. Not too expensive. Super friendly staff. A1+

Having fun, an absolute must for anyone who is looking for some laughter and fun!!!

Love it here, friendly staff and good lanes, when oiled.

Really enjoyed the place I live in the Bronx but wouldn't mind driving out again and paying the tolls to be there

It was just ok. Half the video games don't work & that place is so small you have to wait online to play every single video game. The staff is friendly but not enough for 3stars. They serve food there however it's mostly finger foods.

My group had a lot of fun, we used about 6 lanes and the food was decent for the children's party we were having. No complaints here.

loved it .....up until my daughter beat me 105 to 64 .... no amount of neon lights can hide my shame.....good food too

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
