The staff and manager are great! We just found out they offer a summer pass as well. I was appreciative that they put the guard rails up and have the stands for children. Music and drinks are great too - we love a can of high noon and they have a bar!
I went on Sunday, and although the parking lot was full, it wasn't very crowded inside. There was a line to pay, but everything went quickly. They have different promotions depending on the day and even the time. When I went, there were no promotions, and we paid for two lanes. The table in the lane we were assigned was dirty and was never cleaned, so I don't recommend leaving a tip if they can't even clean the table. They sell beer.
I'd like to start by saying that the place is nice, but unfortunately the customer service is terrible. They weren't friendly at all and were very unprofessional. We were a group of more than 10 people, and we all left disappointed. The woman they have as a bartender was very rude. The only person we received good treatment from was a Spanish-speaking guy who was always there for us. Otherwise, there's nothing good about that place. I'll never go back! And if I could give it zero stars, I would!
Had a great time at this place first time I've bowled in years Daniel was very helpful on helping me find the lightest ball for my son and gave me some good advice on how to go about joining a league thanks again and you will see me more often.
Terrible experience only because of this lady at the bar, no one did anything to her except wait patiently in line at the bar and she still had an attitude with everyone. I even heard her talking badly about customers waiting in line, all I wanted was a drink. I don't think I'll be back to this place if she's going to be there.
It's okay. Many of the arcade games were acting up. The lanes quit working on us a couple times. Food and drinks are expensive. However, front desk clerk was kind and the bowling was fun.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bowlero Durham Bowling Alley, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a fun-filled evening. The facility itself is impeccably maintained, boasting modern lanes and a clean, inviting environment that makes it perfect for both casual bowlers and league players alike. What truly sets Bowlero Durham apart, however, is its outstanding staff. Each
Great bowling alley with that classic feel. Good prices and specials on games. If I lived closer I'd join a league here. Beer prices are pretty high. $5.87 for a miller lite bottle.
Had a good time today Daniel took very good care of my family. Also had some food and not going to lie the food was really good. The Chef Ken did an amazing job. Definitely was worth the visit. These two gentlemen are very polite and friendly (Definitely a vibe)Two thumbs up to them.
I'm not much of a bowler so I cannot comment on the lane condition or anything else that a serious bowler might care about. I did have a great time with my grandkids there. They have the gutter guards and ramps for young kids. One game for 4 with shoe rental was about $58.
Daniel and Hailey were amazing at the bowling alley today. We had a great time and were able to enjoy our games without any issues. Would highly recommend anyone coming in, especially on slower afternoons like today. Everything was clean and there was plenty of hand sanitizer to use as you please. Awesome customer service!
This place is truly amazing and has some of the best employees I've ever seen. Recent reviews of a bartender have been absolutely wrong and corporate has refused to do anything about these false reviews. She balances out cleaning dishes, tending to customers as well as being friendly to them. Her face was posted in all of these reviews without consent by the same group of people multiple times after that group was denied alcohol they did not pay for. CCTV footage was checked, payment logs were checked, and
It's a bad experience, the lady who works at the bar. He treats customers very poorly and also keeps money that doesn't belong to him.. And the manager, instead of checking the cameras, is complicit in it.. The place is very nice but very bad treatment of customers and racism
I encounter this same bartender mentioned in previous reviews last night. There was a guy ahead of me signing his receipt and immediately after she took the guys receipt she went off to wash dishes. Not once did she acknowledge me. The guy hung back to ask for 3 glasses bc he had a pitcher of beer. She went to the cooler where the cups were and gave him the glasses and went back to wash dishes. So I said ?excuse me? she looked up and asked if I could come back in 10 minutes. I don't understand how she's in
I've been a loyal customer of Bowlero for years, having bowled here since 2008 as a youth bowler. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience recently, and I feel compelled to share it. On Monday, February 3rd, I was part of my weekly bowling league and noticed that lanes 29-30 were causing issues, damaging several of my team?s bowling balls. Management acknowledged the issue and promised it would be fixed. However, after inspecting my ball at home the next day, I realized the damage was much wors
We go pretty often to have good fun & eat bad snacks! I wish they had celery sticks or something healthy but, who cares? We come for the games! Love the lighting, the shoes are painted, the the people are loud, the tables are sticky! Reminds me of Married With Children when Al was in the bowling league & we love it!
We had a great time here. The staff was great, including Daniel and Haley. Excellent service and we highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a fun spot to take your family.
We came with a group and all the employees were really kind and made our experience great as our first time coming here. Will definitely come again, great for all ages. Everything was clean and vibe was vibing!!
Ok, look, the staff is great. But it smells like a middle school boy?s locker room on steroids and the food is terrible. The balls are never cleaned. I would never go here except it's the only local option. Can they not offer something pre-packaged that doesn't taste terrible? Literally everything requires cooking and their cooked food is a crime. I wasn't aware that you could make fried cheese gross, but this place has managed it with their cheese bites. The frying oil always tastes burned. Seriously, a li
Fun place for every age! This place has food, arcades, and, of course, bowling. Sadly, the barriers on the side can't be chosen for individual younger players and would have to be up for everyone if chosen to use them. So, we opted for the ramp for our youngest player! Didn't get to play the arcade games or try any foods this time around, but hopefully, next time. As we were a group of 6 ppl, we were able to use a Groupon here. One location was closer to where I lived, but Groupon was only redeemable at
Everything was perfect, had a bit of waiting time as it was a crowded friday but overall nice experience that I recommend
Had fun but it's expensive. They should have a family deal. It cost 5$ for a soda. Definitely will eat before we go again. Staff was nice.
All of the arcade games were acting up and most were out of order. We kept getting error messages. Several times we swiped our card but the game didn't work and it still deducted credits from our card. The last three times we attempted to bowl, the lanes were occupied by leagues or closed for upcoming league games. This is frustrating when you just want to bowl for an hour with little ones. We tried to order food a few different times and no one was available to assist. There is also a pungent smell in the
Very bad experience since we arrived we were mistreated by this girl who unfortunately they have as a bartender and then she paid $40 in cash and did not give a ticket or receipt to a member of our group of friends since the girl did not speak English she ended up stealing the money. She along with the bartender do not deserve to be working in a place where people go looking for fun and instead leave frustrated. We will never return to this place again, and here are their photos so you can be careful.
Great place to hang on a Sunday afternoon. Got together with neighbors to celebrate a birthday. Service was great! Cold beer and fresh snacks. We will be back soon. Fun experience!
This is a GREAT place to come?I LOVE bringing my grandchildren here! It's clean and the staff is so welcoming and nice! We came a number of times last summer and have already started for this year!!!
Bowlero Durham is a great relaxed venue for socializing and enjoying some bowling. I don't bowl well but I always have a good time anyway. The staff are wonderful and I love talking with Chris at the bar ??. Cheers
The place is ok. The scoring machine needed up couple of times and no automatic rails for individual players, got to have them up for everyone on the lane or not at all.
Great experience, Gabe did a perfect job keeping up with lane maintenance and making sure we had an overall great, memorial time there. We will be returning, this is a great bowling alley!!!!
Fun spot to bowl. They have done a lot to upgrade aspects of the place like the bowling areas, TVs, music, black lights, etc over time. Offers food which actually is pretty good and full bar. Has small video arcade as well. Can get a little pricey, especially on weekend, but they offer a lot of promotions and rates much better in non peak hours. Fun spot and good for kids and bday parties too.
I reserved a lane online and booked a group event. The food was delicious (get the pita chips!) and the staff were friendly and checked on us several times. Bryson was wonderful and even gave us cookies and a hand-written birthday card. I would absolutely recommend booking your group as an event, rather than just bowling.
My first experience here at bowleros On my way in I didn't think this place was full of energy but as I made my way with my family to the front the staff was very attentive to our needs Daniel definitely made sure we were good the whole time we where there this guy is definitely full of energy and he is a great host. ?? ??
Fun place with a small arcade area for the kids. Nothing special about it. One problem is all the menus tell you to order online, but this does not connect with their registers. They don't tell you this when you check in or when you grab a menu. Only found this out after waiting 15 minutes for drinks and then going to the bar to ask, just to find out they had no clue we ordered. They acted like I should have known and I was inconveniencing them. I'm sure a lot of people are rude about it, and thus they get
The place in itself and the staff were great and very helpful. Bay #1 and # 2 from the extreme left kept on getting stuck again and again which affected our game. The kitchen was backed up and food took longer than usual to come out but tasted good.
We had a blast! Definitely our new date night spot! Staff has been amazing!
Fun bowling place! Came here with friends on aa Friday night. The pricing was like $10 per person per game and $6-7 for the shoe rental per person. Bowlero Durham also sells some food (burger, fries, finger foods, etc) - and they also have arcade machines in the back with prizes if you win enough points. Overall recommended!
1st time. Awesome place! Lanes were full, but we played in the arcade and sat at the bar with Chris the bartender and had some dinner. Great guy, great conversation. Thank u Chris! And Bolero. Will return and highly recommend.
Nice place. Nice front desk employee's. Buffalo chicken strips are very salty. Drinks are good ?? Nice deals at the moment. Monday-Friday after 6pm you can play all you want until 15 minutes before closing for 14 dollars, this includes shoes. Call ahead to check if there are lanes open. It will save you the drive there.
Reserved a time, and unfortunately my plans changed so I needed to reschedule. I called before hand and they kept saying I should call their sales department (which the sales department never answered or returned my call after leaving several voicemails). Bowlero also said they will put in a request for their sales department to reach out to me. It's been a week and nothing. Edit: finally got help
Very nice facility; staff was pleasant, but food is a bit expensive.
Had a great time last night with 5 people ages 15-42. We played 2 games (2hrs) with shoe rental. (Groupon) and 100 credits in arcade games(Groupon). The man at the counter was a little less than...But I was polite and did not show my disappointment, nothing was ruining my family night. Very small arcade. But I do love the electronic version- Everything in on the arcade card! No physical tickets and the prizes are even in a large vending machine! No food or drink was purchased. We had just eaten a bbq at hom
I was here with my Company for our Summer Party! It was fun to have downtime with my coworkers and Bowl
Always nice here! Daniel, Chris and Haley were very helpful for our large group
Hailey - can answer pretty much any question you have. Daniel - friendly and inviting to the building Great time for the family to play together
This place is wild. The nachos were literalllllyyy disgusting. They just had canned cheese, beans and jalape?os and were inedible. I cannot believe I paid money for them. Chicken tenders were ok but way over priced. The bowling itself was ok. So packed and not many balls to choose from. They advertise promos and discounts but don't actually honor them. The QR code to order didn't work and we only found that out after placing an order and waiting over 20 minutes for drinks. We made a lane reservation for 6 b
We've been coming regularly to this bowling center for years and the people are amazing! We know several on a first name basis and get excited every time we walk through the doors.
Friendly staff and a very relaxed place for family to have fun for hours or a short visit. Also has arcade games, food, and beer&cocktails.
A huge thank you to Cindy, Shade' and Gene for making our surprise birthday party AWESOME!
Really great people awesome food and very much appreciated the friendship you have when you come
Was walking out of claw machine/arcade games area and my foot caught on the base around a machine that stuck out several inches that was sticking out of a gaming machine's base...fell and cracked my knee. Had to go to Emergency clinic. Watch out where you are walking!
I scheduled a team building event for my work team. We had such a wonderful time. The entire staff was pleasant and accommodating. The food was delicious! I will definitely return!
Had a great time! Daniel was very helpful. Good for family?s
Had a fun time, food was alright. I kinda like having the regular tables and cushions seats
This was a great place for a fun outing. They played good music and the atmosphere was really great. I had a fun time bowling with my friends this past weekend. They have food and drinks for sale that goes beyond what you would traditionally expect from a bowling alley. Be prepared to wait for the food and drinks though. I think we went at a non-busy time with a big group so we ended up waiting a long time for food and even longer for drinks. It was fine though because you are bowling!
Thanks Bowlero for throwing a fun birthday party! Parents, if you want a birthday party sure to please, utilize their party packs on the website. We arrived and it was all perfectly staged and the staff were spot on. Kids LOVED it and it's so EASY for the parents.
I've always loved this place as a kid and even now. They changed the screen animations they used to have which is sad but there are now different themes u can use now!
Daniel and Ken where very helpful thank you so much for your service today
I'm not sure how a bowling alley can fail if you're there to bowl. This was a cool spot, very nice atmosphere. The staff aren't super friendly but they get the job done.
One of the best bowling alleys I've been to. 32 lanes available so we only waited about 5 minutes for one to open up. The drinks were priced pretty reasonably for the size you got. Didn't get a chance to try the food but the lanes that had it around us looked good. Plenty of comfy seating and the scoring system didn't have any issues. Definitely will come back for some of the specials they have each night.
Came for an outing with my company! Everything was great. Food was amazing ?? the wings are highly recommended! Bowling was smooth & the bar was great! Thanks for hosting us today!! ??
Good place, we had a kid birthday party there.
Unfortunately, we won't be back to this location. We have visited on 4 separate occasions on different days/times and have never been able to bowl. Always leagues/2 hour wait min. Very disappointing.
I love bowling. These lanes are the toughest lanes I have bowled on. I think it's because of the inconsistency of the oil and care of the lanes.
I've been bowling here for years and they have made some improvements. It seems like they have started to make sure the lanes are properly oiled and they have upgraded the software, TVs, and the apparatus for adding your names. The machinery works pretty well flouring bowling and they are prompt getting things fixed if you have an issue. I will say that the prices have drastically increased, about $7 a game per person if there is no special. Also the food is about the same cost as eating in a restaurant
Great hospitality! Food was cooked well. Had a really good time with unlimited bowling. Only issue (wasn't a big distraction) was the pin sweeper for my group's lane would stick every other turn for a few seconds
Great place to bowl but Leave the lane lights on??can see the arrows
Fun experience for the kids. Lane kept messing up and continually needed technicians help. Besides the wait of those fixes, it was a great visit. Would definitely go again.
It was clean and the staff was friendly. But it was crazy expensive; $25 for 2 people to play 1 game, with shoes. Shoe rental isn't included in the cost of the game. If you wanna go here, go at 10 pm for the All You Can Bowl or on Tuesday for $2.22 Tuesday. They do have lightweight bowling balls which is great.
Pretty cool. Great ambiance. Nice staff. Food is just ok. The cheesy bread and wings are pretty good though. They serve alcohol here so that adds to the experience.
Offers a fun time, but peak and reservation pricing are high, and many entertainment monitors above the lanes are out of commission. Staff are attentive and resolve problems quickly.
This place is so much fun! The staff is so very friendly, and management in particular went the extra mile to make our large group feel like we mattered. The concession stand was busy, but the staff were hustling and somehow able to keep up, manage expectations and deliver delicious food when promised. It felt that the staff?s attentiveness and positivity rubbed off on everyone so that when a bit of a line formed at the counters (not a surprise on a busy Saturday), guests just rolled with it because ever
It was a great experience for a office outing. They did not have everything perfect as far a communicating things contractually and our lane kept getting stuck making it hard to play a second gane so we didn't. However we still had fun.
We had a blast at bowlero with our church this weekend. Food was great, staff was very nice, & other guests in the establishment were very friendly! The only thing missing that would?ve made it a 5 star experience, was if there was a changing table in the bathrooms. We had our 1 year old with us and there was no where for me to change her.
So much fun! Very clean and friendly staff!
This place was cool and fun but our lane kept crashing and freezing which was frustrating
I was there with my church a member and a child fell because the metal molding on the floor was coming up they had taped it down and it didn't hold I had to stand on it when the children was going across so they wouldn't fall. The food was good and the drinks was good it need to be a little more safe.
Daniel, Evan, Eliana, Justin, Ken, Gabe THE GOATS. Simple.
Our family had a wonderful experience bowling at Bowlero recently. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The manager, Sam was particularly helpful when a pin got stuck in our lane. She and Charles efficiently took care of the issue despite it being a very busy night. Thanks to the delightful service we received, we will definitely be back!
We went on a Saturday night and had alot of fun however the prices were a little steep for what I'm used too. We paid about 42 for 2 games and then 8 dollars per game per person afterwards. The prices could have been a little better but overall really enjoyed it
Great way to kill an afternoon without breaking the bank.
Had a great time at my son's birthday party there. Staff was very helpful and nice. Place was clean and the kids had a great time. Jasmine and Janahe made sure everything went smoothly. Thanks a lot.
I had fun here the food was delicious. surprised about the bathroom it was clean. Usually we go to some bowling alley it to be as clean, but this one is inside was pretty clean. The staff was pretty helpful and informative. It was one time that our pin got stuck and nobody caught an attitude, but they was able to fix the issue but the only issue I had was the response time I can't tell you the exact time it took them but it was a long time.
We had my nephew's birthday party here and were very pleased by the service we received. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Full bar, ice cold beer, very reasonable prices. The food was much better than I had expected it to be. For some years, this place was getting pretty rough but it must be under new management or something. Will definitely return.
Great location, and there is so much potential, but this place lacks consistency in so many areas. You never know if they will have a bartender to make drinks. The person that tries to fill in has no clue on how to make simple standard drinks. They seem to be out of items all the time. There needs to be more accountability with the employees and this place could be amazing!
I just want to take a moment to express the great time I had at Bowlero for a party and night of fun with my friends and family, from the friendly customer service at the front desk, to the cooks in the kitchen checking to see how we enjoyed our food, even the porters we talked to where helpful in getting the perfect balls for bowling, as well as making sure our lanes where fresh and clean to perfection, thank you Bowlero for such an unexpected experience, loved it, and we'll definitely be back for more fun
Great experience, go most days for $17 unlimited bowling shoes included
We booked two lanes as part of a party package a week in advance. I got a few proposals from Kayla to fit our needs with lanes, food, and alcohol configurations and the final we chose was very reasonable for what we got. When we arrived, the supervisor Gene was super helpful. He got us checked in and set up quickly, checked in on us, and made it easy. Food, alc, and service was great. It was also pretty cool there were some really good bowlers on other lanes, including someone who bowled a perfect 300.
Unlimited bowling on Sunday evenings ??
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
