Customer Reviews

The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The facilty is clean and the lanes are in good condition. We found the lanes to be a touch dryer than we are accustomed to for fresh oil.... but every house is different ??.

Bowlero Denton had everything we needed for a fantastic family bowling afternoon ?except socks! But no worries, because I happen to be the kind of person who keeps a spare pair of trampoline park socks in my trunk (as one does). Crisis averted, and we were off to knock down some pins with the grandparents! The lanes were smooth, the food was tasty, and the drinks hit the spot. Even better, the vibe was just right?fun, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. We had an absolute blast, and the only thing that could hav

I took my 3 kiddos here to kick off spring break. Overall, they enjoyed themselves, but the experience was not good. The workers are very friendly and professional, but they seem to be short staffed. We had issues with our lane, and after notifying one of the staff, it never got fixed. He clearly just forgot because he was simply too busy. The most disappointing part of our time there was the food. Way overpriced and by the time it was finally served, everything was ice cold. I also found a piece of plastic

Bowlero Denton is alright. It's got plenty of lanes, and it's a decent place to bowl, but it feels a little outdated. Prices aren't bad, and the staff is friendly, but the place could be cleaner. Sometimes there's a smoky smell, which isn't great. The music... i didn'thear any, and if you're just looking to bowl and have a good time, it gets the job done. Just don't expect anything fancy. In other words...5 stars!

Wife and I went on a Saturday night and had a blast! Great drinks and fun . We will definitely be going back . Pretty laid back atmosphere

The manager was sweet and thanked my husband for his service; everyone else that worked at this establishment was absolutely atrocious (except for one person with a beard behind the bar, who I complimented). The place looks like an old school bowling alley without the prices, comfort, or customer service. We will not be back, sadly. I really wish that I could give higher praise, but truly, if sucked.

Unfortunately we didn't even get to bowl. Would have been our first time here. The person working up at the front was very ?matter of fact? in her statement that unfortunately they book up all week with leagues. She said there were four people waiting in line if she could ever ?get people to leave?. Won't be trying to come here again.

Would have rated higher because bowling was super fun but they rip you off at the pool tables by charging you for more than you played and telling you it is what is. They charged us double. Beware. Also, make sure they put the cheese on your cheese fries.

Update: our visit to this place was nice. No issues with Groupon. visited on sunday at 4pm. It was not crowded. Staffs were kind & friendly. Fries were good. Didnt use arcade. Agree with other review, looked little outdated/old but inside it was ok for a 2hour usage of bowling. Thanks Bowlero. 3/25/24: My first review without visiting. I Have a groupon to visit this place. Will update my experience ,after visiting to recommend this place to other people as this place has got negative reviews about groupon.

So glad I had a groupon for our family. It's clean and if something goes wrong w lane they are quick to tend to it and get you back in the game. They have these dinosaurs to guide your ball or choice of having bumpers. We had fun, we have always enjoyed bowling here. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Not a fan of the food but to some it's fine. 4 people can easily play 3 games in 2 hours. Now Go have some fun y'all.

Brought my family for Sunday Funday (Fathers Day) It was my kids first time bowling. While we were there we ordered pizza (delicious) and played in the arcade. We had a great time. Zero complaints.

We had a great time The service was on point they made sure that we got our money's worth and we had a good time thank y'all so much

Best quality lanes in Denton. John always is super nice and makes sure the experience at the alley is top notch!

Give you 1 price on the phone and a different one when you get there. Too expensive for just a bowling alley

Went with the family today, such a fun experience! The GM, Roger(I believe is his name), was very sweet. It had been about 10+ years since we've been bowling, so prices had gone up a tad.. He comped the shoe rental for us, which I very much appreciated! Will definitely be returning in the summer when daughter is out of school and we can do the $2 Tuesdays!!

Update: They never fixed the bathrooms and I found out the hard way their season passes are a scam. They're no good on Saturdays (before 4 pm leagues take up all the lanes). Kid at the desk (the manager apparently) tried to lie and tell me it was because of the leagues till I told him they come in before 4. Then he said it was because they make more money off regular bowlers on Saturdays. Dude said he was concerned about giving me a refund because it would ?hurt their numbers?. I tell you what hurts your nu

Came here for a kid?s birthday and it was pretty gross. Seemed unclean and outdated. The lanes were warped and uneven, and the pin machine would regularly rack the pins incorrectly. The food was pretty rough, too.

Great no frills bowling alley. Easy to go and just bowl with good snacks and bar with plenty of bowling balls.

We liked this place a lot! Took my grandson here because he loves to bowl even neither of us are great bowlers. It's nice to go when your tired of being inside and the weather is yucky also. It has a family atmosphere, at least around 5' or 6 on a Friday. It's pretty clean so I don't feel uncomfortable about covid. We just washed our hands a lot. They have decent food and drinks but it's pretty expensive, that's my only complaint. But it got my grandson off his Nintendo switch for a couple of hours, sob it

We have taken our grandchildren there bowling several times 5yr old and 7 year old and always have a good time .

Lots of fun for the family! Food is actually really good and there is a wide variety of options .. And the employees are fantastic! We'll be back!

It was a fun time bowling and overall was a good experience and was a fun date night. Although it was quite expensive for just two people and only 2 games and shoe rental was $45+ and that doesn't include drinks or food which took about 15 minutes (for just fries), and seemed just over priced. the staff were nice and friendly, but didn't make its known to us how much it was going to end up being at the end since that is when you pay. the place could use a update to the lighting and seating layout as it was

Went on a league day and without a reservation..no problem. Michelle was helpful and hopping.

Beautiful place clean place i love the look of the alleys at night very cool

Overpriced nonsense. Bowling is a low cost game for the common person. The prices they charge per game are absolute nonsense and should be condemned by all. Bowling supposed to be cheap for a reason and this location offers nothing but overpriced everything. It throws the concept out the window, and upcharges for everything. Do yourself a favor and go to a more locally run venue and actually enjoy your time for a quarter of the price.

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. I've never been talked to and disrespected by a manager the way your manager Dee Dee has. If you don't want to work somewhere then go find somewhere else to work. We drove from Farmers Branch to come to this location. We should be able to order whatever we want and change our order before it has been made without the attitude. He hadn't made anything but the entire time we were ordering he was really kind of off. Rude is me being nice about his attitude. I

The bartender cracked down on someone sharing drinks with a minor, so it's a great place in my opinion. The place was clean and the staff nice/polite.

We had our Christmas party here and were very pleased! Joseph, Bailey and others took great care of us from the time we walked in until we left. They were friendly and attentive. The set up exceeded our expectations. I will recommend it to others for sure. Thanks for a fun night!

Very friendly and helpful. Bartender is great

Michelle and her entire team do a great job. I was impressed!

I bought a groupon for the Bowlero in order to take my grandkids bowling. When we got there we were told that they could not honor the groupon because they had several leagues coming in. They had prices posted for $5.99 per person including shoe rental so considering we had driven over an hour to get there I was willing to pay that price. However when I requested to do that they informed me the cost would be $7.00 per person and $6.00 each for shoe rental. W I pointed out the sign that advertised the price

Great environment! The staff was extremely thoughtful and assisted us with any and all of our concerns. Definitely recommend all time of the day. By the way that platter was amazing??

My experience at Bowlero was fun and fine. I think the staff could be a little more forthcoming about the nighttime unlimited bowling option- you have to specify you want this or you will be charged per game. BUT the manager Michelle was very kind and informative in explaining the prices and daily differences. The staff itself was also nice just shy maybe. Drinks and food are overpriced but that's typical for corporate anything really. I tried to do a survey on the website from the receipt but the website

After my last experience here I wanted to leave a review as the staffs attitude really stands out. The front desk person is very always very nice personable, even if she is dealing with a rush of people. We have also noticed the manager is constantly doing things to help their team members and joke with customers. You can tell they are always doing their best to make sure the customers are having fun!

We used a Groupon today. Was a good experience. We came 9 months ago and it was a nightmare. Today no probs.

It was fun! We had a great time!!

I have never been to a bowling alley that doesn't offer pricing by hour. Their rate was 7 per game per person. Just ridiculous. 64 dollars for three games. Lanes were alright though

Staff was very professional and friendly! We arrived about 30 minutes before an expected birthday party, instead of turning us away, they still allowed us to play. When the party finally arrived, the general manager kindly asked us to switch lanes or to get a pass for a free game next time. She handled it very well and made my family feel very appreciated. Family friendly atmosphere!

Very large and empty. You don't have to wait in line for anything. Don't go there looking to eat or drink. They didn't have a can opener for the pineapple juice which are advertised as signature drinks. Looked like two people running the place and neither very happy to be here. So if you just come to bowl, it's fine.

I really like this bowling alley. My husband and I were on a bowling league here years ago back in college and now we take our children here when we're in town. =)

Lanes were available and the tables were clean. The shoes smelled fine. Can't beat a cheap date in the AC!

False advertising. They have a price listed on the counter for Monday-Thursday. Today we tried to bowl; it's Monday July 3. They increased the price per person. When I asked why, they said because it's a holiday weekend. It's Monday. I asked that he take the sign down or honor it and he said he couldn't. We left and went across town to bowl.

Lanes were good. The approach was sticky The price was higher than anywhere else per game, but we had fun Then you want to send a response the same response you send everyone that gives you a bad rating Best thing to do is fix your problems Lanes are not level Approach sucks Bathrooms are nasty Kitchen and bar area nasty Staff is terrible 18% charge on every drink I buy This used to be a great place and always full now it's just a place for kids that just want to throw a ball down a lane, and your lane pric

Me and my husband were in Denton visiting family and we came into the Bowlero lanes. The employees were very friendly and showed us how the scoring machine worked. We really enjoyed the snack choices and the bar selection. We had a lot of fun here. Over all this was a great experience and we will be back!!

Great service and management was fantastic. They had a crate with our name on it...it was cute. The concession could have used help as our food and drinks too a while but everyone was very nice and accommodating.

We were there for our work Christmas party in Thursday evening. Joseph was our host and he was amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking in on us while we were. Bailey was our server and he was super also!!

Unorganized and disrespectful. How are you going to overbook and not plan for it. I was here on a school tournament for my daughter. I always buy food and drinks when I am here. There is nothing on the table that says the tables are reserved for people that are bowling at 7? The lady comes and tells me after I already bought my food and I am sitting there eating that I have to move. I ask her, where can i sit. There are about 20 tables that are empty but she says that all of those are for the people that ar

This is a bait and switch. The images online looked so nice, this is a run down bowling alley that smelled like smoke. They took my nearly $400 party money up front and promised fresh made food. When we arrived nothing looked like the pictures. The arcade was mostly out of order and nothing like online. They told me they had to go and buy some pizzas from the grocery store as part of our prepaid package included pizza. Nothing was set up when we got there. No tables. No lanes. No instagrammable moments like

Dang, they got us for their price of $8.99 per person per game! And this is in Denton with a Frisco price? Wow. $90 for two person 5 games. Never gonna go back here.

Big change, not the same experience! Definitely need to update their website pricing. Showed 5.50 a game for the 3 game special and they actually changed me 8.95 a game big difference! Especially when you bring your kids. Won't be back to this location!

I actually really enjoyed bowling here. I'm a disabled veteran with severe PTSD. This is a smaller alley. They have a bar/ grill, they have a game room, and they have either individual bowler or league options. The staff is friendly. The balls and lanes are kept in good condition and treated and oiled frequently. All in all this is a great place. Exits are easy to identify and it's very simple floor plan for anyone else who may have PTSD.

I would have loved to have bowled there with my wedding party over the weekend, but in order to make a reservation on the weekend, I have to prepay $120 worth of food or stuff we won't use on top of the hourly charge. I suppose we will take our $300 and go elsewhere. I'm not pre-paying for food and drink. That is absolutely ridiculous that you need to charge $15 per person just to plan an outing on the weekend, on top of the service fees. Let US decide what to eat.

Very disappointed with the direction this place seems to be going. They cant or won't hire enough staff to effectively run the place. They are not keeping good maintenance of the lanes or the kitchen. It's not the quality of the staff, they just dont have enough. Almost every time I come here there is some equipment malfunction with our lane. The racks are super inconsistent as well. Have to rerack constantly.

Had the best time bowling here! This bowling alley looks so nice and is very clean! The arcade game area is set up perfectly to allow you to purchase a game card, refill to play longer and even redeem your tickets from a vending machine - never a need to go to the front desk! The manager, Joseph, was great to work with, so friendly and knowledgeable and his team was great as well! For a fun night out in Denton, this is the place to go!

Joseph and his staff were very nice and accommodating for our large party. The decorations and food were awesome. We had a really good time there thanks to the friendly staff.

The lanes aren't bad in my opinion, but the service to get a drink or 2 during a couple hours of bowling was a bit more than they could handle and there weren't more than 15 people in the whole place at 4:30 on a Saturday. I'm sure ou party of 5 would have spent at least $100 in drink service. Apparently the one guy behind the counter doesn't care to help anyone. We will go to Andy B's from now on.

I have come here to eat, bowl and play the arcade with my husband. And I've come here to play pool and drink with my sister in law. Both times, the people were great and I don't have a single complaint. It was really fun! Definitely will be back.

I had a great time. ?? Definitely recommend this place to have a good family fun!!

Nice facility. Our lane seemed slightly dry but played pretty consistently. Balls got a little beat up and picked up quite a bit of rubber from the ball return. Hands were black but the actual bowling was pretty good. Workers were nice.

Very accomadating with our Groupons! We had a great time. I wish the drinks were stronger, but I would definitely go back!

Price too high for what it was ?no sanitizer anywhere ?..The food employee needed help, (one man band) ?games ok but you cannot combine prize cards to purchase bigger prizes ..

We really enjoyed our family outing at Denton Brunswick. The staff was super nice and helpful. However, only critique was there wasn't enough help at the grill for as many people as were there on a Saturday. Our food came to us in an hour.

Terrible for Reserving events! Their service is extremely bad. Initially paid for reserving 2 lanes for 12 people they charged me for 12 people, then due to Covid we had to cancel, they don't let you reserve again, won't refund, and sent me 2 vouchers and said yeah the 12 people can just roll in and gran 2 lanes whenever you want. We did, but the vouchers were only for 10 people, they forced us to pay for the third lane as well. So disappointing

Bowl here if you want to bowl at one of the most poorly maintained allies out there. I bowl regular for leauges and if it wasn't for the amazing staff and my team, this place wouldn't exist. Guaranteed a lane will fail, score miscounted, or some other error with the terribly maintained equipment while you are here. Multiple lanes are currently broken so capacity is down. We spend most of our time waiting for them to fix the pins than we actually get to bowl. The owners choose not to maintain this place and

This place is very clean and well kept. I took my daughter and her friend on a Sunday afternoon & they had a ball! Concessions are movie-theater pricey, but that is to be expected. The soda was $4+ for a large and the nacho cheese fries were about $9+, BUT they brought it out on a pizza platter. This portion fed 3 of us with plenty leftover. The employees were extra friendly and helpful too. It seems pretty family oriented and has a few video games to boot. Give this place a shot!

We had a blast here! One issue we did have was with the pin return machine, which broke down 3 times while we played in lane 25. I suggest to the staff: maybe add on a few minutes of play time when this happens. Also, don't get the nachos; they were kinda gross.

Bring your Family & Friends here. Call ahead and get a Super Bowl. We had six people for Saturday, our own tables, two lanes, shoes, 3 appetizers (hot) and two drinks per person. Good beers including Dallas Blonde and Shiner. Very attentive service people came by three times to check our drinks, etc. We had a blast. Not the trendiest place, but clean and affordable packages. We will return.

Always a good time. The staff is amazing. The AC could use a little boost :?-?)

If the GM wasn't so focused on his bonus he clearly doesn't deserve, then this place would be worth it, like it used to be. Until then SIr, clean the bathroom yourself so we can use it, it's not out of order, you're just lazy.

Staff was fairly rude, it appeared they didn't care about customer service with their demeanor. First time coming and wont be back. Was given the wrong lane was treated rudely at both the bar and the area to order my food at. They were out of nacho sauce so they over loaded the fries with chili. Not a place suitable for children beginning bowlers as they would allow bumpers as their system was set up to where the whole bowl g alley Had to use them... over all did not enjoy my experience and will def try and

The bowling is great, don't get me wrong, but we had to bowl at a competitor because Bowlero isn't open until 3 on Fridays. After bowling elsewhere, we came to use the arcade with the card we got off of Groupon, and it is a SAD little arcade. Most of the basketball hoops were broken enough that they didn't have lights and you couldn't do multi-player (which is often the pont of hoops). The air hockey table was broken, but you couldn't tell until you wasted your credits. It wouldn't count one side's points a

We had our work Christmas party last night and it was a great night! The food was awesome and the staff was awesome! Overall a great experience! Joeseph went above and beyond to make it a great night!

My husband and I are regulars here! We wouldn't keep coming back if it wasn't a great place to bowl! The staff is awesome and very friendly, very helpful. Have not had any issues with this location.

The equipment breaks down quite a bit which is difficult during league play. The bathrooms are FILTHY. We've brought it to management's attention on numerous occasions but have been told they were cleaned. ???? They've been out of iced teas for weeks. How do you run a business like this? I guess because it's the best we have in our area.

Way to few staff they are nice but over worked. We asked for bumpers but there was along line and they told is several times they would come set them up. They kept taking new customers until I called out we had already paid and had been waiting at least 15 minutes and new customers could wait 1 minute for their lanes. May not be the staffs fault for not having enough help but they do not priorities well.

I was in town with a Women Tournament to watch, tried to get a lane. Was told I was on a wait and was good with that, but when I saw others getting lanes I said something and Amanda the front desk person said I had ignored her when she walked up and said my lane was ready and was EXTREMELY RUDE ABOUT IT. I was with family so we all didn't ignore her JS. Besides the beer is hot . Not recommended to come here at all.

Couple of lanes are a little wonky but the prices are great and staff is fantastic.

I've been here a few times to bowl and the bowling itself is fine. But keep in mind the employees are not so great. No one is ever at the bar when you want to order, and Amanda the cashier is very rude, condescending, and impatient when she speaks to you. If you hate where you work so much then leave, but don't take it out on customers who have been nothing but friendly to you.

Loved it. Had fun with no issues.

Haven't been here in 20 years until recently. I just didn't really feel nostalgic while there. I was too disappointed in the cleanliness, or lack thereof. The floor seemed like it had a layer of nastiness on it that could use a good de-greasing.

We went there this Saturday 2-27-2021 The women behind the counter was so rude. We well never go back there again. Food cost so much there.. we well go to the other bowling alley from now on. People are nice and food dont coat so much there. Your place cost to much. And the workers are rude.

So, my wife and I always enjoy our datenight. We work hard all week and bowling is one thing we love to do. Last night we went bowling, at the same place we always go, and the manager on duty was horrible! I dont want to go into the detail but we will never go back again. We spend 100 a weekend with food and lots of beer. So sad that one of you ruined our night. And you lost a loyal customer.

Love this place. Fair prices and patient staff. We had a small mishap during our visit but the manager went the extra mile to make it right. I just can't say enough about how nice the staff is!!!

Got a great price on groupon, which included 2 hours of uninterrupted, no waiting list, bowling and shoe rental. Staff is nice. For a Sat, plenty lanes available, food was great, free refills on fountain drinks, billiards and arcade available, great family atmosphere, great selection of bowling balls and facility is very clean. Will be going again. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This was an absolutely miserable experience. The experience went like this. We walked in, soda or something all over the entrance floor. No wet floor signs. We asked the lady about pricing and she responded with ?it is $6.34 per person and $4 per person for shoes.? So I asked how long that it paid for. She said ?it's from 8-close. $6.34. That's what I said. ? (The ladies name on my receipt says Haylee B. But she never told us her name so I'm unsure if that's her. Brown hair and

I came here for my birthday and while it was fun, our first two lanes were broken. We got a free second lane but that one was broken as well. Good place, good fun, but please get a technician in to work on the main thing you're selling.

We overall had a good time. Kinda hard not to have fun playing games with my husband. But the actual business was pretty offputting. The associates and workers were friendly, and our waitress Mika was great. Prompt and friendly. 1) Immediately on our first game our lane got off sync. My turn would end but the pins wouldn't get reset and my husband would begin his turn with my pins still up. We messed with the computer a bit but couldn't get it synced properly. After a few minutes of this, I walked back to

My friends and I visit almost every week. Great service, and generous food/drink options. Would love to see a vegan menu item added in the future!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
