Update We were here Sunday night. My son was the only one who ate because his father ? who tends to dismiss my concerns ? didn't take me seriously when I said the place looked unsanitary. By Tuesday morning, my son was having severe symptoms, including passing blood. By Wednesday, he was diagnosed with C. diff, which is highly contagious and requires me to disinfect our home with bleach. I sincerely hope no one else in the house gets sick. This place needs a deep, professional cleaning ? at the very least.

Went on Monday evening. I had such great service from the concessions and the manager. Small wait for a lane. Every encounter was met with great customer service. Prompt with cleaning our table too. It's on the pricier side for bowling but the cleanliness and service matches the price.

Great place to have a kids birthday party. There's an arcade where you put money on a card and the money becomes credits to use for the games. The games our little ones played were 3 credits. You can put $5, $10, $20, etc., on the card. $10 gave the kids 8-10 times on the few games that they kept playing over and over. They enjoyed bowling with the bowling dragon ramp, too. Update*** Bowlero has been recently renovated, now kids can play in the arcade. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Facility is nice and clean. Love this place. I went with the family. Wednesday starting at 8pm it's all you can play. We had a great time.

Had fun but played almost two full games before our fries came. The food preparer apologized saying there was a very large order before we placed our order. Staff was nice. The establishment was clean. My family and I still had a good time and we will go again.

I can say one of the best bowling alley in northern VA. If your looking to practice for a league this is the place to go. The lanes are taken care of and the house balls are perfect for casual play

It's fine. Not organized and needs more staff specially when is super busy like Fridays or Saturdays. They do have deals in the week but it will get pricey. Food was ok.

If you order food. Be ready to wait 45 minutes or an hour. Don't want to think how long the food will take if the place is ready busy.

Seven-in-one entertainment! Live music, restaurant and bar, billiards, bowling, arcade and laser ta. A very well designed interior space lets all seven venues succeed together in a large open space, and although it does become Busy, but not overwhelming. The food's a range of Americana, and above average on most fronts. I'm picky about wing platters, theirs will satisfy. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop. If you're a local, you'll find yourself coming back.

The bowling is great the food is not how does it take an hour for hot wings? There is sense of urgently.

Celebrated my birthday here yesterday. It is so much fun for kids and adults. We had a small family tournament. 2 lanes. The staff are nice and although they were so busy yesterday, handled pretty much all the "special" customers who were cutting lines and being rude.

They wouldn't let us bowl three HOURS before league would show up. They turned us and two other groups away because they didn't want ?conflict?. Wow they made alot of changes in this bowling alley. I wanna give a shout out to Tiffany. For such a great and organized event her team put together for us. We will definitely come back. My company had such a great time.

Came here as a last minute get together with some friends about 3 weeks ago. It wasn't that crowded but they were definitely short staffed. My friends and I had a great time and huge shoutout to the black guy in the snack bar who was working it all by himself. He let us know he was the only one there and that he would get our order to us as soon as he could. Food was nice and hot, music was great (heard some songs from over 10+ years ago that I used to love as a kid lol) Would definitely come back.

Turned off the music an hour before closing with our large party of maybe 10-12 people because the staff was clearly ready to go. Nothing like hearing echoing bowling balls on hardwood for an hour. Definitely won't be back to this location and don't recommend.

Best bowling alley I've been to in a while! The staff is so nice and understanding. They gave us extra minutes when we had an issue with the lane (the issue took 5 min to resolve and they gave us 30 min of play time) the staff were so attentive the whole time, we will be back! The place itself is not bad. The prices of beverages are stunning. $10 for a beer in this joint is a little bit too much. Correction, it is waaaay to much ?? You would set these prices like this if you want to discourage customers to drink beer. But why running bowling place if that is the case? Anyways, they got me once and never again.

Where this Bowling Alley is located is convenient. Renovations done very well. Will miss AMF being involved. Now my issues are: Opens real late. I like to bowl before all the non league bowlers show up causing distractions. TLDR: Horrible place with malfunctioning machines, rotten food, and disrespectful staff. Go to Round1 instead. I came here two times with family and friends. Overall, my kids had a great time, but the prices were outrageous!! The only issue that we had with this establishment was the packages deal for big families. There are no deals for a large group of people. We have a family of 8 and we enjoyed the two rounds of bowling but the bill was over $160. I understand it was on a Saturday night but $160 plus for two games seems extremely pricey. Hopefully in the future, they could come up with a package deals for bigger groups or a big family like my family.

Went on a Monday night thinking it wouldn't be too busy. No staff, we ordered drinks tasted like watered down syrup, ordered food the employee cussed under their breath & said it would take a while we waited 45 minutes and when I went to get a refund he asked if we wanted him to make it now?! I went here for a child's birthday party. The people in attendance were great. The children enjoyed the lanes as did seemingly the other people around us. Those in the game area seemed to enjoy that. But, the food provided by the facility ?? . . . it's one thing to burn the pizza crust (literally blackened), but how do you burn the hot dogs AND the buns?!?

The male manager is so rude. We purchased a Groupon for a group of 6 for my son's birthday. We visited on a weekday night because we were told that all the lanes fill on weekends, and we cannot schedule a lane in advance with the voucher. When we arrived at 4:45 pm on a Tuesday, the manager said all the lanes were filled, and we should have booked a party. Great place for family fun. The arcade was cool. The only bowling center within miles that didnt have Sunday leagues but it was crowded with lots of parties and groups just having fun. Loved it, little more pricey than I'm used to when bowling, but for $168 I got 2 shoe rentals, 1 game per person (2 games) the Pitcher and pizza deal, nachos, cheese sticks and two sodas? that used to cost me $50 dollars in 2020.. but Bowlero has an awesome atmosphere and games to play.. just have to budget differently hahaha ?????? bowling isn't a ?cost effective? family night anymore lol

This place is a bit overpriced. They don't have the ability to have the bumpers come up and down depending on the player. We brought our kids on a Saturday morning and they were playing inappropriate movie and had inappropriate music playing. Plus at random times we had 3-4 random balls shoot out of our machine. None of the little things would be that mad if it wasn't so pricey. You definitely DONT get what you pay for.

Had an excellent time with friends at AMF Dale City Lanes. We went on a Thursday during league night, but only had a short wait to get two lanes. The food was better than I expected and the service was friendly, though we did have to wait a little while for our drinks. A great place for an evening out with friends, especially with children.

Our lane kept messing up, which kept killing the vibe, and the staff was slow to assist us. Plus the food is over priced for the small portions given. I don't recommend.

We were looking for somewhere inside to take the kids and this is where we ended up. It was very crowded, but we were able to get a lane! The waitress was very kind and quick to serve. She was readily available. The lane and bowling was enjoyable. We will definitely be going back!

The lanes were malfunctioning and we had to stop our game multiple times, we ended up changing to a new lane and the same error occurred.. the customer service was not attentive at all and seemed not to care much in my opinion.. My family visited in August 2014 and had a great time. Best bowling shoes I ever rented, the facility is clean, smoke-free and the lanes have interesting lighting. We found the staff to be very friendly and cooperative. This is important when you are a casual and mostly incompetent bowler. My son also found the french fries to be excellent. We would certainly go again.

My family and I come here frequently, and it's mostly great! Valerie and Trevor are fantastic! But things seem to have been going downhill for a little while now, despite the fancy new look. We just finished bowling there today, and we ordered a chicken quesadilla and pizza. Something was very off about the chicken quesadilla, and whether it was bad chicken or bad cheese I wasn't sure. It was sour and tasted spoiled. They're also seems to be a lack of decent staffing.

I brought my whole family with friends Friday Night and they told us that we can't reserve a lane, because they have a League on the entire place, they had no sign at the door, neither information on their website advertising this, the guy at the counter of the Dale City Location was very rude when I asked why there is no sign informing this, like we were supposed know this. Since they bought out AMF the service here has been horrible. Not coming back to this Location ever again.

I went on 12/18/22 for my jobs bowling event. Had a great time bowling with coworkers !! UNTIL I realized my phone had been stolen from my own jeans (loose mom jeans) back pocket in the gaming area. Overall good experience. However my only complaint is that no one there ever knows about their MVB rewards membership. It adds time to the wait until they find someone who can add-to/redeem my rewards. I usually end up having to do it manually online after the visit using the receipt.

I had a lot of fun, but the managers left the kitchen cook by himself struggling to tend to all of the orders while they had a smoke break outside. Very unprofessional, they should have been helping him instead of mocking him by breaking while he could barley squeeze in a sip of water.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facility seemed to be in good shape. Samuel at the counter was awesome. Armed guard wearing tactical gear at the entrance checked everyone's IDs coming in.

Food was good. Arcade is updated so plan to pay with a card and get a arcade card to swipe for games. Ther card costs $1 and makes it hard for little kids who bring their own savings money to play games ?? Call ahead or you may wait a while, but they are very polite.

Don't let these reviews fool you. Understaffed , poorly managed, customer service is ZERO. Food is expensive and not worth it. They put deals on days when they have leagues and don't tell you about it . If zero was an option, that would be the rating. Consider the 1 star an honor. If you want to have fun, go to leesburg, or don't go bowling .

Been going here for years. For rec and leagues. Service is usually good, food is great, prices are great if you know when to go. $2 Tuesdays = shoes, games, pizza slices & PBR cans all $2.00 each. Lanes can be inconsistent sometimes but not too bad. They have a bar, pool table, arcade and a Pro Shop

Everything is fine except for the wanna be manager of the place. As soon as my family and I went inside the lady was talking down to the employees and started fussing about people walking in with outside drinks. Instead of asking the people nicely she started rasing her voice and being nasty to the customers. Then she went and announce it over the mic and continued being a pain in the butt. Some one need to como and check her out and put her on her place.

Typical bowling alley experience. Bar staff was extremely friendly and helpful, cosmic bowling was great! Restrooms were surprisingly clean. Just as you'd expect, it's pretty empty during the day and gets crowded at night.

Great bowling alley, probably the best I've seen in my lifetime so far. The food actually tastes good and isn't like cardboard topping with shavings, they host a great birthday party, and I actually won my first ever game of bowling in my entire life here, so that adds historical points to it in my book. Not often do I blast a specific individual. BUT There is an older lady named Valerie who works the food area and this is the 3rd time she has been rude, unfriendly and unwilling to help. She has denied us things as simple as a pitcher of water when 5 of the 6 of us bowling together are part of leagues playing right now. Her reasoning is pitchers of waters is only for people doing their league night even though every other time we come they have been more than willing to give our party of 5 or 6 a pitcher

My grand daughter's 7th birthday was held there on hot Saturday afternoon. A/C so welcome. The children ages (4-8) enjoyed unlimited bowling, supervised by parents. Seating available near children. Professional event coordinator and staff setup appropriate simple table deco in advance, served all the food including the cake we brought in and cleaned up. I recommend AMF Dale City Lanes for much fun.

Approaches of the lanes can be cleaned up more for sliding at the end of release, especially for league nights. Dirty, scuffed, and tacky approaches are not good in league play. Just unsatisfactory. The upkeep of the approaches and lanes definitely needs work. But, besides that.. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And the overall condition of the house as a whole is pretty amazing. This is the worst experience we had. The place is dirty, food is cold and there bowl machines doesnt work properly. People who works there very rude. I never seen a place having last call at 10 pm on a thursday. We will never go back there!

Clean and renovated. Great deals to be had for a fun family or friend outing. Good beer choice and food very much improved. The score keeping upgraded significantly with fun themes.

$90 for 4 people for 2 games, 330pm on a Tuesday ?? Slow ball return. Bumpers can only be up or down for EVERYONE on the lane, not by individual. $63 for a beer pitcher, basket of pretzels with chz, small basket of boneless wings and small basket of tenders. $2 service charge to get an arcade card.
