Bowlero Commack

Let me tell you. We had so much fun celebrating my son's third birthday at this location... when I tell you the atmosphere was so comfortable, I mean when I arrived, the check-in was so easy, we sat down and got started on bowling within minutes. Our waitress was the best. I really mean that. She helped me so much, it took so much stress and worry away. I had 12 kids with me, so just imagine that ??. The food was great, the price was great.. My overall experience was definitely a 10/10, not one complaint.

This place is very hit or miss, I've been coming here for years. It is unbearable to be in during the summer. It is so hot inside that I've needed to leave on multiple occasions all because they won't put on the air conditioner. The lanes are breaking down constantly and you'll need to get someone to fix it, oil on them is either non existent or way too much. The staff is super kind though, just please put crank up your air conditioning.

Place is kept clean, drinks are tasty and pack a punch and lanes are solid. What more can you ask for from a bowling alley!?

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and used a Groupon- and the manager JC was super accommodating. We had a great lane- awesome selection of bowling balls and the best part was - our 22 month old son has the TIME OF HIS LIFE! Our waitress Brianna was attentive and the food was fresh and delicious- courtesy of their newly updated kitchen. All-in-all an outstanding experience and we cannot wait to come back!

The staff at the front desk and the waitress that came around to our lanes were great, but this was a pretty expensive outing for two lanes at $175 for two hours (and that was with a 20% discount). We had problems with one of our lanes (#2) all night. Staff only came over to help once and they only gave us an extra five minutes of playing time. Guys in our group were looking around for staff that could help with no one to be found. Should have offered to comp drinks at the very least and extend our playing

My daughter had her 4th birthday party here on Sunday. I was beyond satisfied with amazing everything went. From the planning with their back offices to the day of, Bowlero ensured that all my needs were met. Debbie who was our planner on the day of was beyond amazing. I had no idea that there would be a decorative setup for my daughters birthday. I was so taken back when I walked in and saw how beautiful everything looked. We celebrated the holidays with a sports team of young girls. Great ambiance in the place with the lighting and TV screens. The girls had a blast bowling, the food (fast food type) set up was extensive and plenty, I'm not sure if they have a more adult type menu. Our server (name escapes me) was friendly and checked on us often. It's a really great way to celebrate with a group. The only negative comment- Men's room was in bad need of a cleaning.

What a family fun outing! There's more than just bowling here. Moder technology combined with well maintained lanes. There's a bar area. Plenty of seating to enjoy a meal, video game area and more. Air Hockey is one of my favorites. I found most of the machines in good working order but some were out of service. The only suggestion I have is for a routine walk of the facility. We observed empty used drinking glasses laying out. Nothing aggregious and overall I found the facility clean and well organized.

Our server Kylie was amazing. Friendly, kept checking on us. Definitely will make sure we ask for her next time we go.

Two huge thumbs up for Bowlero in Commack! I called last Sunday to ask about prices to reserve a couple of lanes for my son's birthday on 5/21. Brittany in the sales office gave me the run down of walk-in vs party pricing. I know there's a Groupon for Bowlero, and I considered that as well. It safe , clean and friendly. The best place to celebrate birthday, holiday and get away from this pandemic ??. The reservation was very easy online. Gusts relationship called me and follow up with an email. The Staffs and manager was pleasant, respectful and well organized.

Have to say it's been a hot minute since I've been bowling mostly due to how filthy they were. Commack has revamped and upgraded their menu. I still bring my own shoes, that's just me.

The approaches are filthy and slippery. So much sand, dirt and road salt. Makes it dangerous for the bowlers. Clean your approaches and monitor the kids coming in there!! It's ridiculous. Also - don't park in the back, so darned icy - you'll take your life into your own hands.

Went here for a team event, the food and drinks were good. Bowling was a great time. There were a bunch of people from leagues practicing since it was a week night so it was crowded.

It was fun, only problem we were having was the bumpers for the little ones weren't working and balls were getting stuck, after telling the staff a couple times they moved us to a different lane, but guess what, that was not working either, only one side would go up, and we had to do it manually every time, it was getting a little annoying for me the whole situation, but we had a good time.

The bowling alley is great and i love going there but the family next to us made it so unenjoyable so loud and screaming at the top of their lungs every second. I wish them nothing but the worst in life

Fun place to go bowling! Great atmosphere and got a great deal on Groupon to bowl there. The staff were very nice! It was my friends birthday and once they found out it was her birthday they put out letters that out up and spelled out her name. My nephew also wanted to see his scores so one of he worker printed out his scores from their computer. The kindness of the staff really stood out to me

Fun place and lane were well kept. There is arcades, air hockey and tons of other games there too... it is expensive for bowling... for a family of 3 to play 2 games t was $60 plus other games/food. it was $150 for an 2 hours. Wish they had cheaper option, for parents with 4 year old just rolling bowl down kiddies ramp, but it was a wonderful time.

The staff at bowlero in Commack turned my sons birthday into a magical night! The fire alarms went off multiple times durning the evening by chance and the staff including Sean Nelson , Larry M., Jared W., Maria M., Made my sons hectic night turn into a fabulous 4th birthday regardless of the situation. I have been bowling at Commack for 3 years the lanes are maintained well, the staff is so helpful and courteous. It's a safe pleasant environment to enjoy the sport of bowling. My complements to everyone??

Came in with a group of five and we were told that it would be about 10 minutes until a lane opened up (despite lanes being visibly unoccupied). We decided to order food while we waited. 40 minutes later, we had yet to receive a lane or any of the food. I asked the person working the counter what the deal was and the response was "who knows?" We left without knocking a single pin or eating a single bite.

With many alleys closed or closing its good to sell have a place around where you can take the kids on a rainy day or a group of people for some beers and fun. The food here is surprisingly good and the staff is very friendly.

Good to bowl again! It has been a while but I did ok ! Just a got little pricey since the last time I was bowling at #larkfieldlanes Service was a little slow. The background behind the pins was on and it was a little distracting.

I was with that disability bowling group at about 5:30 on Monday June 8th 2024 and me and my friend there were felt hot. It felt like the air conditioning wasn't working properly. First time visiting this location with my son to enjoy some bowling. The ambiance is great with a sports bar theme for adults with the super large screens showing games and great for kids with the automatic bumpers and arcade section. Good place for a fun family night, but a bit in the expensive side. highly recommend making reservation if you want to go on the weekend, if you choose to be a walk in, you might be in a 2-3 hour wait list. Wish they updated the seating like the Melville location where they have booths. This location has tables and chairs and it's a bit tight next to the other lanes. Food and service were great. Aside from bowling they have arcade games and a bar!

My family came here for a fun day out. The establishment was busy but we were still able to book a lane. The staff was very accommodating and the service was great. An ABSOLUTE BLAST WITH AMAZING SERVICE. We chose to have a hang out night for our small businesses staff and I was absolutely WOW'ed with the service and experience provided for all of us. The staff was attentive, professional, made us laugh and gave all of us a wonderful experience. We went in expecting great but left experiencing PERFECT. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. Friendly Helpful staff. Surprisingly good menu for a bowling alley was like a Fridays with sampler platters wings etc. and was recently made. They get a half a point off for now blue cheese. That's only because my lady needs blue cheese I hate the stuff. The games were definitely reasonable all in all great experience definitely going back.

When I say this is the best staff at a bowling alley ITS THE BEST STAFF!!! they are so accommodating and helpful. Even the event coordinator is so sweet. If you're going to go bowling in the area this is the place to go. I love everyone front desk wait staff but Mike at the front stood out to me. Couldn't tell you how happy we all left. The manager Kelly has a great personality & always is helpful & a responsible leader. Attentive to the situation when called upon with great service. Went here last night for a work party event. I tip my hat to Debbie! She was an incredible hostess, that always made sure our drinks were full and the food was plentiful. I remember when it was Commack Lanes and since they remodeled it, wow! It's beautiful, modern and I loved the little digital fireplace and expanded arcade. My family and I went there Saturday night and we received horrible service from Kerry T. She was very rude to us from the minute we walked up to the bar. She claimed to be too busy but there was one other customer at the bar. Kelly was the best manager in the world here. She was very helpful and made us all laugh. Great hospitality here and wonder service. Bartender and server were great as well.

I think it is a great bowling place for family and friends wanting to hangout. When I went our lane stopped working two times but we told someone and they fixed it quickly. It is over priced. For 2 hours and 30 minutes is was almost $200 and the food is very over priced.

I liked the two employees that were working. Clearly they are understaffed, but were still helpful and kept busy. Hadn't been there since the update. Bowled better than average that afternoon.

Nice clean and friendly. League bowlers as always are a bit 'in your face' if you are just there for fun but that's not the establishments fault. Use a Groupon though, $$ without one.

Definitely take advantage of the discounts. Parking can be a problem. Also the ball return breaks down and requires waiting on staff for help. The arcade is a plus and the automated prize machine is definitely cool. They must have changed cooks because the pizza is not as good as it used to be. Overall it's a good place to take family.

EXCELLENT CLEANING AND SANITIZING!!! The experience was great itself but the customer service could?ve been better. No friendliness AT ALL from the front desk! I mean no greeting! no please thank you have a good day NOTHING! The wait staff was nice .

Nice place great atmosphere however they should take more time to make sure everyone is wareing bowling shoes, our lane next to ours two person where wearing regular shoes sneakers and crocs not good. We paid for the shoes while other play with regular shoes I did mentioned it to the waitress no one did anything.

This place is a nice family style bowling alley which is great for parties. Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Good food. Discount packages for groups which include bowling, food, and video games. Nice staff. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.

My family enjoyed our afternoon at these lanes. The staff was friendly and attentive. My only criticism is that both sides of the alley were dark. It would've nice to have the option to bowl on a lit lane. It was hard to see the arrows, but we still had a nice time bowling.

Had a horrible experience with the waitress Kelly... we have had multiple bad experiences with her!! we were pretty much done with first game before she even greeted us. She took forever just to bring drinks, the place was dead mind you, but we saw her mingling with co workers talking drama instead. My children were indecisive on what the wanted to eat and it was obvious she was getting annoyed. She was not kind at all. She has a nasty look on her face all the time. Not a cheap family thing to do anymore. $180 for a family of 4 to bowl plus shoe rentals $46??? Really?? All that money and the lane we were on would not return 3 of our balls they getting stuck over and over. I hear larkfield lanes are cheaper and we will check them out.

We're not big bowlers, but for some reason our son wanted to mix it up and have his 8th birthday party at a bowling alley. All the local lanes are dark, dingy and dated - I guess acceptable for hard-core bowlers but not really a party atmosphere. My wife had a corporate function at another Bowlero location and said it was nice. The Commack location was closest to us, so we had it there. My expectations for a bowling alley birthday party were pretty low, but I have to say I was very surprised at how much eff

Had fun but for the amount of people that was in here this receptionist shouldve had a mask on. I understand vaccinated fight have to but she wouldn't prove it and I felt uncomfortable. I shouldn't have to explain my health problems to show my concern for my safety. I will post a photo!

Great bowling alley, I enjoyed my time with friends here. The lanes worked well, they didn't break on us, and the food and service was pretty exceptional. We didn't have to pay as much as we initially thought we would as well. Obviously, because of covid the place has a different atmosphere but it's still very welcoming and positive.

Dirty, dusty, poor service, had an older couple making out at the counter behind our lane. Two games for five people was over $80. The bumpers aren't automated if you have kids. The place was apartment recently remodeled but it's still very dated.

One of the very few places nowadays that don't strangle with customer service. Excellent atmosphere too.

It was very fun with their arcade you have the option of having fun knocking down pins on the lanes or spending your time gathering tickets I their many different arcade games, fair prices and it's very good for birthday parties and stuff like that.

Manager at night needs to be a bit more helpful. Had 2 lanes available. Wouldn't let us bowl. Corporate office needs to teach him manners. Smithtown Bowl was better than this 100x

I'll just say what my daughter said ? the bald guy who works there is a big old jerk?. Took her today, husband purchased an arcade Groupon right before entering. Groupon was accepted by nice younger guy. After we finished we had another one we wanted to redeem. Waited in line for 20 mins ( it was chaotic in there with all the birthday parties) . Bald guy would not take it, and refused .. even after another one was accepted prior. Kinda ruined my kids day. Will give this place another shot..

Aside from a mix up about the prices, this was an awesome place to spend an afternoon with the kids. They loved it, and we will be back. Just make sure it's AFTER 6pm or it's a lot more money

The price for four people with shoes and two games came to $100. Most certainly not worth the price. The price alone has left a sour taste in my mouth. I will applaud them for the cleanliness of the place.

Great place for a family outing or birthday party. We went for a family birthday party and everyone had a blast. Between the bowling and arcade games the kids didn't want to leave. The food was decent and the help was very good. Highly recommend it for a fun family outing.

Daughter has been asking me to take her bowling for weeks. It was my birthday, so I took my two children and wife. Don't like bowling much, but did it for the kids. ONE game and shoes $66! $36 to rent shoes for one game!!! Kids wanted to play another game, but would have been $106. How do they justify ripping people off like that! Never again!

Nice place for bowling. Comfy seats and never had a problem with ball or pin jams. Definitely need to come back to try the food since it smelled good but didn't get a chance to try it this time.

Our family had a lot of fun bowling together. The atmosphere is laidback and easygoing with the lights turned down low and the videos playing on the tv screens. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Few things that could use improvement is the balls are not in the common area on racks. You have to go from lane to lane to find a ball you can use and hope the folks bowling on that lane are not using the one you find. Also, it was a bit pricey.
