The Bowlero staff claim that it is against their food and beverage license for people, even with dietary restrictions, to bring in anything...even something as simple as water. This is not a family environment. Two times now I have tried to go here with my young children. They have music videos playing on giant screens and they are not suitable for children. There are half naked girls shaking their butts and other inappropriate stuff. Plans for the girls soccer game fell through due to rain so we hit up the bowling alley. Cool vibes, friendly staff, the girls definitely had fun. Had a big nacho plate which was pretty good to go with a few games. All in all 8/10.

Went there the last week of December. Lanes or something in the gutter broke my bowling ball. The staff handled it really well in the moment.... But it's almost been a full month and there's been absolutely zero contact from them. And they took my broken bowling ball, so I only have 1 photo of it.

If I could give them 10 ???????????????????? I would! Shout out to the entire staff but especially Jalani, Jordan and Briante. I'm a tour director and my group had a reservation for some fun and bowling. They had a blast! Music, arcade games and bowling entertained them for a couple of hours. The snacks and drinks were refilled and refreshed with no prompts. They gave us a great visit. Great space, clean bathrooms and nice space. Have a striking good time!?? I highly recommend this bowling alley.

Group of 12, prepaid $40/person. Never again! Drink/food service took forever and if they even got it right. Book for 2 hours. One lane constant freezing of the lane and had to reset. They gave an extra hour and STILL didn't finish 2nd game. Don't do the package plan if timed. Go by game and buy drinks/food separately. I haven't been here for 10+ years, and will be that long before I go back. More frustrations to make it a fun evening.

Love the atmosphere, staff is really nice to talk to. The summer season pass is an absolute must to have, I have 38 bucks and for the whole summer, once a day I can bowl 2 games and get a free shoes rental. Love it!

We had a blast here. The environment is fun and entertaining. The staff was very nice and working their behinds off. They had a pretty good deal. 3 games of bowling and 5$ for arcade games plus shoes for around $23 a person. Only complaint is the lane malfunctioned a few times and delayed our games by 20 minutes in total. They did change our lane after a few malfunctions. Would be a 5 without the lane issues.

All 1 2 and 3 star reviews are wrong. Bowlero is a great place to be and you can't just judge a place like this as terrible cause you had one problem one time and never went there again l, I was also reading a 1 star review that said that they weren't allowed to bring in their own water cause of city regulations, you cannot blame Bowlero for this no everyone stand with me and silence the bowlero haters. I've gone here more times than I can count (multiple years of summer passes and regular games throughout the rest of the year). The food/drinks have gotten worse and it is taking a lot longer to get them -- like 40 minutes for a drink. I have not had this much fun bowling in years! The staff was amazing and super kind, especially Kendall who helped us with all of our bowling activities! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

Visited this place last night with a few friends and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Maddie, was very on top of all of our needs whether it was refills or placing another order. 100% recommending this place to my friends!!

I had an amazing experience bowling however the food serve was horrible. Server Kristen H took our order. My friend and I asked can we switch out the bread sticks for more wings . The answer was yes. We also ordered drinks. She messed up on the drinks but she corrected it. When my sampler came out she did not switch out the bread for wings. Terrible service, we showed up to book a lane for an hour and a half. Only to be told you can only do that online and 3 hours in advance. They had just opened and had no other customers in the building. Sat there for 45 minutes to book the lane, only to be told we had to come back 3 hours later to bowl...still not another customer in the building. The bowling is great but the service for food and drinks were lacking. We waited over an hour for one chocolate shake and water. We understand it was busy but waiting that long for water was a bit much. We received our other drinks promptly. Hopefully it's better next time.

Fun to bring the family. However, it is way understaffed so wait times for getting on the lane getting food and drinks was very long even though it was not overly crowded. The lane scoring and pin setting machines kept screwing up. Bumpers are manual up and down but they don't give you any way to do it yourself in case you want to change what is on the lane when you get there or change for different bowlers in your group.

Enjoyed a fantastic mid-Saturday drop in with the kids to have lunch and play arcade. It was tons of fun because every Bowlero team member was committed to showing families a special time! We enjoyed yummy pizza, delicious wings (kickin bbq), and in addition to our own fun, watched nearby birthday parties coming together for a great time with kids and adults. Every time we come to Bowlero, Joustine and Jessica give the absolute BEST customer service! They both have wonderful personalities and ensure you have a good happy visit while you are there! We bring our little atleast once a week because it's his absolute favorite place to play! So happy to have a family fun place to go to!

Price is insane and they put kids in between couples for some reason. Every other lane was a family of 5 with kids crossing into the lane, and throwing their balls into the wrong lanes, super dangerous. There were open lanes too where they could have grouped people smarter so no excuse. On top of that, I got a nice huge gash in my custom ball. Don't go here. Literally go anywhere else.

Overpriced. $78 for 3 games for my wife and me. Took under 90 minutes. There are much better values out there for your entertainment dollars.

It was just OK...lanes to the left are sloped so it's difficult to bowl normally...you have to adjust for the slope...the balls are all chipped and damaged, so bring your own, shoes are old as the hills, and the food is terribly over priced. If you go to just get in one fun game with kids and go to the arcade, it fits that purpose.. and that's about it

We were so happy that the Summer passes have returned again this year! As such, we frequent the alley most days/weeks. The customer service at this bowling alley is top-notch, especially Justine, who is incredibly friendly and attentive. The lanes are well-maintained, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. The food and drink options were also great, with quick service and delicious choices. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Used to be the place to be for two decades and now My mom gets jipped of $146.00 for no reason. Guy with the long black hair swipes her card too many times and we have been trying to get the money back for 2 weeks and we just get swapped from manager to manager... Be careful with your cards.. was supposed to pay $125 and paid $271 for a few games on one lane.

The lanes had glitches and kept resetting the pins inaccurately. Wings were good drinks are nice portions.

Great service by the staff, a super clean environment and awesome air conditioning. 44 lanes and a lot of fun on the lanes and in the arcade. We had a server that came to our area and took our order, then followed up regularly to refill drinks and clear away unwanted items. It was a perfect way to spend part of a hot day inside doing family time.

Great fun! Even though it was CRAZY busy on a Tuesday night, my friends and I were able to get a lane within 5 minutes. This spot is a good very basic bowling alley, the arcade portion does leave much to be desired, including the prizes (25 points for a single now in later is pretty odd) overall it's great for a kids party, but leaves a bit to be desired for those of us who want to have a fun night out with friends but not to join a league. Overall it's clean and well maintained.

The staff here is really helpful, nice and they have a good time with their guests. The arcades are fun, especially liked the walking Dead game, and air hockey. I had the foot long chili cheese dog and it was pretty good! I asked for an alcoholic drink they didn't have on the menu and they were able to create it for me. I also enjoyed the big screens in the bowling lanes.

Amazing experience! Me and my friend had so much fun and overall we really enjoyed it. The only problem we had was that the place was really understaffed. Also, we could tell our lane was old and broken down because it constantly stopped working. But if you and Your friend want to have a good day spending time together then this is the place!

I went to this place on Sunday night with my family. The place was clean and it looks cool. However, line 31 got stuck 3 times and it also counted our points wrong. Also, please be aware that the price IS PER PERSON not per group. We paid over $100 because we thought the price the staff said was per game. Halfway through the second game our line got stuck again and when we went to close the tab they didn't give us a discount for that. It was disappointing and it does not make me want to go back.

First of all i don't normally complain about customer service but this company sucks at it. An answering machine answers there corporate office, all questions are referred to online, you can't get anyone to answer a question, seriously! Second of all there summer pass while good is not valid after 4 pm on saturday, and no wear says that! I had to find out only after I went to use it. You guys need to make that more clear!

Overpriced for what you get. They allow people to bowl in street shoes which messes up the lanes. Also their pin setters are awful and you frequently have to reset the frame because it gets stuck or ask to have your ball released because it gets stuck in the back. The staff although friendly are very unknowledgable and unhelpful. They watch as people do dangerous and inconsiderate things in the lanes. The only reason I come back is because it is literally the only alley on the area.

To my surprise, my family took me bowling at the Charlottesville location for my birthday here! Hands down one of the best bowling experiences I have had. From friendly faces at check in, to Food, to the outstanding manager, I could not have asked for a more enjoyable outing for my family! Definitely recommend and will be returning very soon!!

My time there was pretty good. However, guests who have food allergies like celiac or who are gluten free have no real food options. Then are told that they can not bring in outside food. That's not accommodating of "customers " with food allergies that they can not accommodate. The young lady who assisted us did her best. And I appreciate her efforts. Fun arcade and great new bowling lanes just installed!! Really improved my game by taking advantage of those summer fun passes. The new lanes and new oil machine really elevate this location to be competitive with any I've been to.

Big big shoutout to TRINA. She, along with all the people that serviced Brown College on Friday, April 26th, from 9 pm - 11 pm were exceptional staff. There were around 30 people in this group total, yet the unlimited food and drinks came out fast and always tasted great. A great college memory, the staff on this night deserve an extra shoutout. On a Saturday afternoon, a group of six including myself went to Bowlero at 4pm. We were told there were 6 groups ahead of us in line and decided to wait. During this time we saw multiple lanes open and ended reservations in which the lanes were not being used. We talked to multiple staff members over an hour long period in which they said those were reserved for reservations that haven't showed up yet and they never did but the lanes were still not able to be in use. At one point the lane just stopped working and took 10-15 minutes for a worker to fix it for us. Our one ball got stuck on the lane, asked an employee to get it an he said don't worry about it... Obviously it got hit and ended up jamming the system... Moved us to another lane and our screens just started not working... Staff didn't know anything and just generally didn't care

Great service provided by Justine Starks she assisted with our lane setup and bumpers for the children. She also helped us with the food order and made very great suggestions. She is very knowledgeable and works at a fast pace with a smile and consideration for all. This was a very great experience for my family we look forward to coming back very soon.

Used Bowlero for a private event and ordered 20 pizzas and 20 pitchers for my group. They ended up bringing out less than half then pitchers and half the pizzas ordered and refused to refund us for the missing items.
