So, we came here specifically for bowling and had such a great time! We initially attempted to reserve two lanes, however, reserving two lanes required a $400 deposit. So, we decided to walk in at 12pm on Saturday, which was a much better idea and more feasible. We had no issues with our lanes and had soooo much fun. For shoes and two hours for our two lanes, the charge was about $24 a person.
This evening, we booked lanes at the Centreville, va location from 6-8pm. Our experience was generally good, bartenders and servers were awesome and helpful. With 15 minutes left in our time (we had two adjoining lanes) we were told to "move!" So they could set up for another party. They pushed us into one lane and put up the catering boards and started to set up for their next event. The server started to dump the kids drinks. I asked him to stop and speak to the manager. The manger who was a larger gentle
Both the managers and Mashal were so prompt and attentive!! Space was clean and staff seemed happy! Very pleased with the service, cleanliness, and the food! We ordered the pretzels, chicken sandwich, and boneless wings that tasted great! Solid food here and couldn't be happier celebrating for our daughters birthday
Went here for a night of fun!! Ty was super friendly, explained the process and informed us of promotions for the evening. Very friendly and energetic!! Great ambiance! Will visit again!!!
The food is nasty and reeks of children. I do not recomend. I took my kids here and a 2 legged horse ran them over multiple times. There was not valet and I had to park myself.
I love this place! Had a good time and the food was amazing! our server Bella was awesome! She was on top of things and really kind and friendly. I'd definitely go back!
The atmosphere is really cool with it being dark and LED lights in the middle of the day. The lanes have lounge chairs that are comfortable. But it lacks upgrades as the bumpers aren't automatic. They also sat us in a lane that wasn't cleaned with plates and cups at the table. This place has the potential to be great. We would come back and recommend it.
Nothing like a good date night ! This was a cool location. From the moment we walked in, I knew this was going to be a great experience. We were greeted and attended to by all staff. Our lane wasn't quite ready but Chad and his team made us feel very welcomed and attended to. Once our lane was ready we were off to bowl and enjoy. Our server was prompt and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for a good time !
We always have an amazing experience! The bartender, Bella, is always amazing and makes us feel very welcomed every time! Will definitely be coming back!
Service was not great, they had one person working the counter with the line hitting the door. The same one person working was also unable to answer questions with adequate information which was agitating. If you want an overly priced and overstimulating bowling experience then definitely bowl here!!
I've been to 2 birthdays at this location and they both have been awesome. However, one person in particular went above and beyond this weekend for my partners birthday. We came in to person on Thursday night 3/14 to discuss having a birthday gathering and just happen to meet Christian. This young man was everything that a customer service representative or manager should be. We requested two lanes at the end of the alley and he came thru. There is something to be said about good, quality customer service
I felt very happy and proud of the customer service. Christian was very accommodating with us and showed us everything and answered all of our questions and concerns. A+ for him!
Spent over $200 dollars in this place taking my partner and our 3 kids out for a fun night. Went to ask the bartender for a refill for my kids drink. Instead of taking the 90seconds to refill their drinks, she scoffed and asked what lane I was in, and said she'd send someone over. We finished our game and left soon after. Super shitty customer service
If you don't care about bowling - it's fine to chuck house balls and see what happens. If you do care about bowling, go somewhere else. The lanes are never oiled properly, the catches are always dirty, and the leadership aren't bowlers - so they don't understand why these things matter. Parties are the priority here and with parties being a lot of frustration if you do like to play somewhat seriously. I've had to have all of my bowling balls repaired after using them here, sometime it's been large gouges o
Very nice place. A little cleaner and more modern than most I think. The bathrooms were also clean. The video games were pretty new if you care about that kind of thing at a bowling alley (I don't). I found the reason they don't post prices on their website. It's cheaper during the week, but on the Saturday we went, shoe rental was $5 something each, and each player was $7.29 a game! Sorry, but that's way too much to go bowling, especially for a family of four when kids no matter how young pay the same.
Went here yesterday for a belated birthday celebration with my husband and two of our friends. We got there right at opening and were the first people in the door. We were helped quickly, booked a lane for two hours and ordered food right away. The place started to fill up very quickly and I was pleased with the employees knowledge to leave an open lane between groups for as long as they were able to (to avoid having to wait for the person in the lane next to you). My friends were not happy with the servic
We had our company Christmas party here this year, and it was awesome! Easy to book, easy to plan, reasonable price. Food was delicious, drinks were quick and well-made, and the managers came to check on us with perfect frequency. Highly recommend ?? Will likely book again.
Amazing experience for my kid's birthday party! If you are thinking about a fun place to throw a kid birthday party, this place does a fantastic job. They take extremely good care of you the whole time and really go far to help the parents out. They are also very accommodating of allowing cake, presents, and minir decorations (we just brought a bundle of balloons). It really felt like a fun party, not a hassle or stressful. Also, it's got really great food. Sometimes bowling allies have either the best or
Good. The games are fun and Great buzzing place to have bowling, food and drinks. Suitable for all age people. There is space for kids play on the same Sport arena. The staff are friendly. The toilets are cleaned and sanitised regularly. The space for having food and drinking beverages are a bit congested. And while playing Bowing there are lot technical problems with play and s display screens as well. We asked the Technical staff to fix almost 7-10 times and this is really a huge dissatisfaction and disa
One of the better bowling alleys in the area. It gets really busy and it's not large so expect to wait 45-60 minutes. The price is worth it if you go during one of their specialty hours (unlimited bowling after 7pm on Sundays is $20). Service is solid and the place is pretty well maintained. Each lane isnt large so it can get pretty cramped, especially if you're sharing the next lane with another group.
It's a family friendly environment manage and staff are always willing to help and provide everything we need for my kids and I , also the food is great we've tried every food on the menu basic and haven't be disappointed
Absolute trash lanes. They do not oil their lanes but maybe once every few days? If that. Staff was cool enough to switch us, but conditions were about the same. DO NOT GO HERE TO BOWL FR. Lmao
Super overpriced food and drinks. they charge 6ish dollars for pepsi. Lanes have mechanical issue and the bathrooms are filthy with no hand towels, tissues in the sinks, soap dispensers maybe or maybe not working. Bowling in general here is fine but prepare to be charged out the wazoo and service isn't great
Good place for families to celebrate birthday parties, and adults to have some fun after work, and or weekend. I would like to recommend the Bowlero to everyone.
Haven't been there since the remodeling. Pretty nice upgrade. Staff were pretty friendly. Our server didn't get to us in a reasonable amount of time but we ordered from the bar which made it easy. Some of the weekly specials looked good. Will come back.
It is great place to bowl. The food was good and the service staff were great. The bowling lanes were decent as I had issues with lanes malfunctioning.
So, the (adult) bday party was a tad problematic, but handled well. Our first two lanes had major issues with the ball return system. Staff tried their best to fix it, but to no avail. Our next lanes had a broken tablet for ordering food and drinks, but we had a very attentive server that handled everything perfectly. So, despite all the fallbacks, I can say that the staff are top notch in every aspect, and, once they address the technical difficulties, it's is an awesome place to play some bowling!
On my first visit, I couldn't enjoy it more than I thought. There was no way to choose a ball, and even though there were several lines left, too many people in one seat had to use one line. I'll have to find another bowling alley next time.
Had the best time for my birthday last night! The team was fantastic, attentive and really just AMAZING. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality. Rockstars.
went for the bowling- stayed for the bar/food!!! My friends and I went to the bowling alley last weekend and must say the staff is incredible! You have to go when Kyle R is bartending- he's the best!
????????KIND & GENEROUS! ???????? I had a Groupon for this place and the staff who attended us today was very helpful and made the process of reddening it smooth with no hassles. I didn't get the name but this worker was very informative and told us about specials they had for kids. Not only that he also gave me a complimentary gift of a free kids bowling and gave us two arcade cards!!! Such a kind gentleman thank you sir!!! My kid definitely enjoyed his blessings. Bowling lanes were colorful and the Playli
Hidden little gem in Centreville. From the outside it looks like a generic warehouse. But inside is very modern and really clean. Seems like a great time for a date/family night or just a good bowl. We had one issue with our lane which they promptly fixed in about 2 minutes. The customer service was great and the lanes were nice. The arcade is a lacking some of the old school nostalgic games, but good entertainment for non bowlers. Will be returning again.
First time at this location. Shawnda at the front desk made my party's experience amazing. Come if you are looking for a fun time and great service!
This place is insanely expensive. We walked out paying almost $80 for a family of 4 for 1 (1!!!) game!! That's INSANE and a complete rip off. In addition I would expect the quality of the experience to be much better for that price. Our pins kept getting knocked over by the machine when it lifted up, we had loose pins on the lanes, and multiple jams. The food was way over priced so after the cost of bowling we got nothing to eat or snack on because who can afford that? What happened to bowling being a fun a
Had a great time at this bowling alley. Staff was very accommodating with my large party of 8 and the wait wasn't too long. One of the game machines took my credits and the staff was very quick to refund my card. I would go here again and recommend this place to anyone looking to bowl.
The person at the front desk was least interested in his job (Didn't catch his name but he has the pendant "M" on his chain). When we requested him to bring the guard/railing down on the lane, he was like I would hate to bring them up if you again come back. Then our game was interrupted 3 times as the pins were falling off and we were not getting the help. Lastly we were charged a whopping $54 for one game and shoe rentals for 2 adults and 1 kid. That's insane charge for an average game of bowling.
11.99 per person per game on a friday night and the lane has to be fixed before we can start, there's a massive mess left by another party at our table, and be warned their long island iced teas are more of a lemonade. I could excuse all of this if it weren't so expensive to play!
Had a great time, Christian was super helpful and kind. 10/10 customer service.
The kids enjoyed thoroughly. Nice place for kids to hangout. The food was good.
Had a great time here with my two friends. Food was decent. Service was excellent. And bowling was fun!
Went with my daughter, her friend and family... We all had a blast... Very clean and friendly staff... Thank you.. ????
Our family went here to celebrate my brother's birthday the Friday after Thanksgiving. We reserved lanes which was helpful. The manager was awesome, greeted us and walked us to our lane. There were 6 adults and 4 children. We split into two lanes. One was set up with bumpers and the other wasn't. We also had a ramp for the kids to roll the ball down. We were able to play 2 full games on each lane in the 2 hours we were there. Overall, everyone had a good time. Yes it's expensive, but it's worth it. It's the
Easy to get a lane, and the "all you can bowl" deal is great. I've been here several times and its got good prices and a great atmosphere.
It's good. Sunday night after 7 PM it will be cheaper. Shoes will get for rent, which are torn and different ones. Better to wear socks all the time. Drinks will be good.
Kyle the bartender was excellent. He made the experience enjoyable and made me want to return with my friends and family
Love this place! The manager Elsa is super accommodating and really chill. You can tell she wants her customers happy and for them to have a good time. Special shoutout to Julian for letting my bf & I take home one of the pins :)
This place is fun if you aren't a bowler. Cool atmosphere and music, comfy seating and large tables. The food is pretty good, and there is a full bar though it's a little pricy imo. As a bolwer, the lanes have absolutely no oil. I was there for a birthday so just playing a couple recreational games and drinking - but I am a 180-190 average bowler who's done years of league. There was so little oil I was playing from about 15 boards left and still throwing gutter balls on the Brooklyn side.
The place is nice and staff is professional but the mask mandate is clearly not being enforced upon guests, even though the staff is wearing them all properly. So five stars for venue, minus three stars for safety :(
Had an excellent time. The wait for a lane was minimal and the bar was great. The game area was fun, though a teensy big pricey. The bowling was great and the scoring consoles easy to use. Great atmosphere! The drinks were well made and their mega mule was awesome for my group to share, fun too!
Donna is amazing. League members are awesome. Staff is friendly. Lanes are absolute trash.
Each summer I purchase the summer pass for my nephew and we always have a good time! They also have other weekly specials which are nice for going with a group. The food & drinks are pricey but you find that everywhere. The atmosphere is perfect! Cosmic bowling 24/7!
Bowlero was a fun and clean place to spend an evening. The lanes were generally well-maintained, but unfortunately, we encountered some technical difficulties with ours. It was a bit frustrating, but the staff was helpful in resolving the issue. The servers were friendly and attentive, making our experience enjoyable. However, the early morning staff at the front desk seemed a bit grumpy. They appeared to be in a less-than-pleasant mood, which made the shoe rental process less enjoyable. Overall, despite th
Great and clean! Food was great and fresh. Very good customer service.
The place is ok i guess. The balls looked old with chips everywhere. The mug they served water were broken and chipped everywhere. Food was okay. Felt like this place needs a lot facelift. The only bright side was that the staff and service was good.
A nice outing for my team. Manager was warm & welcoming and the ladies at the front desk/ shoe counter were friendly & helpful. The wings were amazing. We had a ball - pun intended :)
Great bar! The chicken tinga tacos were so good!
A couple sign up for waiting list after me had a chance to play before me and the manager on duty couldn't explain!???
Visited this bowling alley 2 Saturday ago with a group of 12. I haven't been here in 20 years. First the place is clean and well designed. Ample parking and two entrances. Spacious and clean bar and counter kiosks and a cool arcade area. Reasonable priced and staff that are courteous and knowledgeable. The staff were very attentive to the guests needs. The atmosphere was awesome and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The Oreo homemade milkshake was good and fresh. The pizze, wings, fries and burgers
Had a good experience, but staff was not that helpful. Customer service needs some improvement.
Great place to go bowling! Our kids school was in town for a trip to Washington DC and we stopped in. Great little arcade as well and a bar!
Christian & Shawnda gave amazing customer service!
Kind of depends why you're going to this alley... If you're going to bowl and not party, this alley is not for you. Lanes are crowded with oversized tables making things feel overly claustrophobic. Alley is constantly in low light mode with very loud music. Again, good for party, not for bowling. They only oil lanes for league nights which means weekend conditions are drier than the Sahara. They did recently replace some house balls though. The lanes are also falling into disrepair. Frequent large scuffs on
Had my son's 6th birthday party here. Had a great time. The staff was awesome and very friendly. would definitely do this again. Thank you.
We were a group of 8 people and didnt know we had to let them know some of us had our own shoes cause we were not asked to do that on the first place. We realized we have been overcharged 3 shoes after making payment. We asked for a refund of the service we did not use, yet they opt to charge us for the three shoes we have not used. We will never be returning to this place again. We do not recommend this place. Check your bills.
Great service, food, and drink. Had a great time with our group and the manager Christian was very accommodating. He was great. We will be back!
Really good atmosphere for a weekend. Our 1st lane wasn't laying the pins correctly but the staff happily changed us to a new lane, no questions asked. Also get the Summer Pass, pays itself off on 2 visits.
Hours of operation are listed Friday 1:00 to midnight. When we arrived on site the doors show hours listed starting at 3:00 p.m.. No one answers the phone and they wasted our time. From the outside of the building, the trash cans are overflowing and no one has picked up in days.
No free water. Some of their game machines were non functional. Other than that; solid place! Would go again.
Usually no issues going to the Cville Bowlero, the service is typically good. Today (between 5 to 630) was probably the worst experience with them. There was no employee at the front counter or anywhere visible in the alley for close to 30+ mins. Searched and knocked on pretty much every door to see if there was an employee available to get us our food/beer that we had ordered when we had arrived. Literally called the alley and walked up to the front desk to pick the phone up ourselves because no one bother
Managers were helpful, service was great, and food was excellent
The best place! Yummy food and super fun.
So far the best bowling place I have encountered. The interior is pretty nice. They are really busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, so you might have a wait time. Drinks are pretty cool too. Love the place!
Decent place for bowling, modernized entertainment system. Slow service. WE ordered the full package for 6 people (?unlimited bowling? for 2 hours and food) but VERY slow to bring food. We had to ask 3 times before it was brought. Don't know what is going on in the back to make service so slow.
If I could give a higher rating, I would. I made an online reservation for 12 people to celebrate my husbands birthday. The process for booking was straight forward and easy to understand. The online booking also provided a cost breakdown, so there was no confusion. We arrived at the bowling alley about 5-8 minutes early, because I was not sure how hard check-in would be and I wanted to get the shoes so we would not have to wait for them. Check-in was easier than I thought because everything was done onlin
The staff was fantastic ? friendly and helpful! However, the pricing left me feeling a bit bowled over. Our bill for two games, including shoe rentals for two adults and two kids, came to over $100. While we definitely enjoyed our time there, I think it's a bit on the expensive side for bowling.
A fun experience, good music and fun activities. There is a bar and food, arcade, with many different events.
We had the best time. With an arcade and kid friendly menu this is an excellent place to have family fun.
We booked hour and a half of bowling for 2 adults (about $80 including shoes) and only managed to get 2 games in. SO many maintenance issues with our lane. Maintenance ?attended?, which I think means they did something remotely but no one followed up to check how it was going. Really over priced and under maintained. Will not be returning anytime soon. Have to say, staff that we dealt with were super nice - I hope management are able to set them up for success.
We recently celebrated my son's 13th birthday at Bowlero in Centreville, and it was an absolute hit! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of amazing. Booking the event was a breeze thanks to Allison, who was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. On the day of the party, Nick the manager, along with Thomas and Peter, our servers, ensured that everything went off without a hitch. Their professionalism and dedication were evident in every detail. The kids had an absolute blast, enj
The attendant at the from desk didn't ask us how many games we wanted to play, or if we needed shoes, he just charged us for the special without asking. My friend's shoes were also too large so she had to go back and get another pair. Then we got to the lane and there were so many balls on the return they were literally stacked on top, and I had to put move balls on the ground to make room for mine. During the game, the pinsetter kept knocking over pins every other frame. We reset it three times in a row on
It's great place for little
I love coming to Bowlero my children and I come a lot. We love the staff and management team they are always very welcoming. It's a VERY fun great environment. We love to bowl and also play arcade games. We love the food menu, with lots of food and drinks to choose from. I highly recommend coming here.
Wene there with a couple of friends and had a lot of fun. Friendly staff. Do try their nachos. They also have a small arcade if you like those. I played almost all of the games there and Pacman was my favorite. Reasonably-priced place.
Fun for a family outing- BUT- horrible service at service desk and bar. I was literally ignored while employees talked and played on phones. I paid almost $100 for family activity and expect decent service. I was going to spend more at the bar but after being ignored I passed. We did have a great server, Sophie, at our lane who kept our water pitcher always full. Thanks Sophie for making our evening fun.
We had an awesome fundraiser event there today. It was great! Fun bowling, great food and friendly staff! We will be back.
It was really fun. A long wait, but worth it. The arcade was awesome and bright.
Great atmosphere, fun and awesome bowling experience. The food was far better than I expected, plus the pizza and milkshake were superb. But what topped everything was the customer service and the overall experience the customer service was on par if not better than Chick-fil-A customer service. It was amazing, the staff was attentive and The staff was just all around, awesome!
service is not good and front desk not nice to customer.. and he charge more .. we rent 2 pairs shoes. but he charge 2more. so total 4 charge shoes.. and very expensive price.. I never go again.. very upset
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
