Bowlero Blaine

Bowlero Blaine

Reviews Summary

Bowlero receives mixed reviews, with many praising fun experiences, great staff (especially for parties), and delicious food. Positive highlights include excellent service, clean facilities, and enjoyable arcade games. However, complaints focus on high prices, technical issues with lanes, poor communication (especially via phone), and occasional staff rudeness. Some find it overpriced for bowling, while others appreciate the overall atmosphere despite costs. Food quality varies, with some loving it and others disappointed. Cleanliness is generally good, though bathrooms occasionally need attention. Overall, it's a popular spot for events but has room for improvement in pricing and customer service consistency.

I had a ton of fun, quality time with family here for my little sister's birthday party. The bowling and arcade were entertaining and not too loud; although, a member of our party who has autism did need to wear headphones for the noise. However, this is a usual occurrence in busy places. The staff was a little slow, but when they told us one person was a no-call no-show, we were astonished at how much she was handling almost entirely by herself. The lanes allowed bumpers, and the food was tasty.

Had a great time at my nieces birthday party on Saturday 3-22 it was perfect for big age gap that was with us all the staff were great the manger on Carla was very knowledgeable and friendly. For how busy it was the place was clean even the bathrooms.. food was delicious well be back again Thank you !!

Our company event turned out fantastic thanks to the Blaine Bowlero team! Karla, Aubrey and our server Dani (among many others) helped make this a very fun and successful event for our corporate outing. We plan to do more events here in the future. Thanks again!

Bar staff is terrible. Doesn't know the beer they have in stock and is not attentive to the facts about their beer. Asked for a dark beer and she told me what you see on tap is what you get and offered an IPA. Walked on to the next customer and left me sitting. Bar is completely dirty and full of dirty glasses and pitchers. Lazy bartenders

We had a group of 10 people and wanted at least 3 lanes to bowl on a Sunday. They were adamant and not willing to work with us, and wanted to shove all of us into 2 lanes. They said it needed to be "6 to a lane". Half the lanes were open. If you have a big party go to any other bowling alley, they are so much more accommodating than Bowlero.

This is a great place! Fun atmosphere and good food. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Had our kid's bday party here and it was such a good time for everyone. The manager and staff took such good care of us right from the beginning, and were never annoyed with our questions. Ordered some extra food and drinks for adults. Arcade was fun for them, and we added laser tag on too, which they loved. It wasn't too short of a time limit with laser tag, either.

I had my daughter's birthday party here. The service was amazing, staff was super friendly in all areas. We didn't feel rushed out of the bowling area once done, but we did move elsewhere for the kids to play in the game area and play Lazer tag. The food was good, pizza was perfect and my personal favorite. It's so much more then a bowling alley, everyone had a blast. My daughter wants her party here again next year. I'll definitely be back for more than just a birthday party.

Beyond impressed with our experience booking my son's 3rd birthday. We got the ultimate package for 10 people. It was totally worth the value. The food was surprisingly excellent and a plenty. The staff, including the managers and the wait staff were incredibly attentive, helpful and kind. Josh was our server. He had a great attitude and a kind smile! I unfortunately don't remember the managers names, but both we were wonderful!

Had a work event here recently. Lots of fun and laughs. Food was good, staff was great but sadly don't think they hear "Thank you" often as they seemed surprised when we said it. Pool tables need some updates but outside of that was a great spot.

Fun world, with family and friends, kids friendly environment, no stress zone I recommend it for memorable occasions

I take my son to this location all the time. BEST time to go is Wednesday's - games are half priced. It's kind of expensive to eat and drink here but as long as the kids are having fun it's worth it. Don't forget laser tag! That's the best part.

Very much of a scam! At first we were told by the employee working there that there are 2 options of play, first one being $16 per person, per game + $5 for shoes rent, or we could get 2 plays and the 3 one for free. We agreed, swiped the card, and once we played our 3 games and were ready for checkout, he just charged everyone and everything full price. We ended up spending $150 for 2 adults and 2 kids. That's insane! Pretty sure we're not coming back. They have a big problem with clear communication.

Wonderful pizza... great experience. They gladly printed out my scorecard... went 120 1st game and new high score of 162 the 2nd..... I'm the A at the top for Aj.

Man does this place need new management. The employees, including the GM, ignored me when I turned up at the bar or shoe rental. I've tried to pay for a pool table and they handed me a mixed set of balls, and offered no explanation or apology when I had to rewritten and point out the mistake. The pool tables were dirty and hadn't been cleaned or maintained in ages AND they aren't even close enough to being level for a casual game. Yet this organization is still trying to get premium rates for the table? I

My husband purchased the NYE bowling package for something to do with the kids. We had a GREAT time! It included food, drinks (we added the bar package also which included everything!!) party favors and two $10 arcade cards (one for each kid). It was a 2 hour window and we got in 3 games of bowling, which was perfect. Take note: Bowlero has absolutely amazing chicken strips!!! Totally delicious! 10/10 would recommend, and the service was amazing also!!

Booked an event for a birthday. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very much enjoyed my time.

Be very careful on giving your card to hold a lane and pay at the end of bowling. I was charged for all 6 people we bowled with and they charged the other people I was with. I found the extra charge going though my credit card statement. They did issue a refund, but I had to go back in person. There was no way to take the card over the phone or just refund the charge. Very inconvenient for me. Nothing was given for inconvenience and wasting my time. No apology, and I was told I need to understand that peopl

My daughter brought me & her baby ,19 months old, & my other granddaughter ,10 years old, we all had such a great time!! The baby even bowled & she loved it!! We all loved the arcade too!! We will definitely be back! The staff was amazing, very helpful & friendly!!

Definitely a fun time. Place gets busy quick. Price for bowling wasn't the worst I've seen but I also have my own shoes so I didn't have to rent any. Food was alright about what you would expect

Sub-par food for the exaggerated price. The bowling experience is hit or miss with malfunctioning lanes and extensively chipped bowling balls common. The arcade is in a constant state of disrepair with games, either offline all together, accepting cards but not working, accepting card but not functioning properly, functioning properly but having screen or graphic issues, having broken physical parts for games that provide interactive play with ticket reward, or functioning properly. The prize games (cube

Beyond having 38 lanes for bowling, they have a full bar, an extensive arcade area, 3 pool tables, and they serve food. This place is a fun destination. They have deals on Wednesday and after 10pm. They have 3 party rooms, each with a capacity of 48, which can be separate or opened up for larger gatherings.

Went to Bowlero in Blane on a date tonight. Hannah was so attentive and sweet and was so kind. All of the staff was so wonderful and answered all of the questions I had. Had such a lovely time and will definitely be back. Great job yall!

Easy booking, great service?we bought the package that included food and arcade with bowling. The food was really good (exceeded our expectations!!) & came out quickl. We had more than enough for the 15 teenage boys that were with us. The facility itself was awesome, it was clean and very family friendly. We will definitely be back if we're ever in the area again!

Super fun for a last minute birthday party! They let us take over the whole pool area for a really reasonable price! And the axe throwing game was a BLAST!

Fantastic place! Staff was great and lanes were well kept. Large variety of balls to use and the pizza was good.

Came here for the first time with group of friends. Definitely a fun place! The staffs slays! Will def recommend and visit again soon!

A group of friends and I went to Bowlero in Blaine for my birthday. And had an unpleasant experience that day. The staff wasn't friendly that day, and I've been to Bowlero in Blaine plenty of times and never had a bad experience with the staff. Unfortunately, a snowstorm hit, and instead of telling my group that they were closing early, they decided to turn off the music and started cleaning up. I decided to go up and ask the manager if they were closing early because the staff were packing things up. I tol

A fun place to bring the family and grab some food. Make sure to take advantage of online discounts and booking.

Nice bowing place with great ambiance. Perfect for throwing birthday parties or get together for kiddies. We were about 15 people and secured the area for ourselves. The serving staff was a bit slow in getting drinks and food and the quality of beverages and food was okay. I would recommend looking for coupons before you go here. I would only go again if I have coupons or a major discount. Not worth paying the full price.

Fun place for families. Lots of arcade games and good prizes. I was sad that the fishing game was out of order and they hadn't set up the axe throwing yet. But we had a lot of fun playing there. Bowling was fun. The facility was clean. The fries were delicious. The staff was friendly but the one that was very friendly! I think she was a manager. Blonde hair and very nice! She was so helpful and a genuinely nice person. She made me want to go back with her service.

Aubrey (the bartender) was amazing w/assisting us w/the party also giving us details about everything when we first got there. Food got out in a timely matter & we loved the way they set up our daughters name ?? Melissa & Tony (managers) was great as well:) we enjoyed everything !

It's a fun, nice place and all, but it's pretty spendy. Everything is automated for bowling, but it's more expensive than ever?? Food is good though. Bowling used to be some of the cheapest entertainment, and now it's one of the most expensive. Great fun, but overpriced.

This was a fantastic birthday experience for my son! He and his friends had a wonderful time bowling, feasting, and gaming. Now, I will say, watch out for those chicken tenders. They have no right to be so dangerously delicious! It's a damn shame I didn't have two stomachs for all the food that came out. 2 pizzas, fries, tenders, Mac bites, and fruit?! Bit to mention it was all bottomless. Though the first round was more than enough. I'll be straight with ya, the party and the commemorative bowling pin was

My daughter and her friends had the BEST time bowling for her 11th birthday!! Carla is so amazing and accommodating to every need to make sure you have the best experience??????

The place is great to hang out with friends and the customer service is good and I loved their meatzilla pizza I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Outstanding experience, through and through! Staff were wonderful, helpful, and courteous! Drinks were wonderful, food was awesome, hot and fresh. I have to highlight how helpful and wonderful the staff are - they deserve so much positive recognition! The kids had a heck of a great time bowling, as well as the arcade! Families looking for a great experience should go here!

This location is awesome. The staff is kind, the arcade, bowling, and laser tag are super fun, and the food tastes wonderful! If you are looking for an enjoyable and engaging activity to do for a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion, definitely consider coming here. They make it easy to party by providing private rooms to reserve ahead of time.

I've been here before, and it's a nice enough bowling alley, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to call and talk to a human working at this place. I've spent the last couple hours calling and going through their automated call systems just so I can ask a worker a couple of questions, and every time, the robot voice tells me they're too busy to talk to me. I've called every 15 minutes for the last 2 hours, and still, they're too busy for me. I guess I'll go elsewhere I've also scoured the inter

Our kids had a blast bowling, playing laser tag and arcade games. VERY helpful and friendly staff. There was a large group of us and our server was the best I've ever had. Drinks were never empty, got all our bills with no mess ups, gave us recommendations. I wish I lived closer, I would come here all the time! I just felt bad for the employee working the prize room because he was also in charge of laser tag so they probably could've used 1 more staff member in that area.

Do not come here to play billiards/worst slanted tables I have ever seen they were completely rude to my self My son and his grandfather we played one game I Walked up talked to some one about how bad the tables were I was very polite and told them we went online to find a billiards in the area and had drove from elk River soil told hear so sorry but I did not feel like I should be charged she agreed so there were 3 tables all slanted remind you online says billiards tried all 3 tables unplayable so I ha

We had a Wonderful time For My Granddaughter Birthday Bowl.My Grand Children We're really bowling with the Bumper, I must say that Blaine Bowlero is Much Bigger Than Brooklyn Park One. They have a deviated area for Bar / Pool Tables With TV?s And Seating Area. We had pizza and french fries. Oh Yea They Also played arcade games. Definitely will be coming back Too Blaine Bowlero.

For a child's birthday, services where great. Pizza is ass, but whatever. Fries, great!

Love going here. The food is good. Service is great. Prices to bowl are too high, though.

Prices are outrageous and the service was subpar to say the least. Better off bowling and not eating/drinking here ever.

The staff gave us the wrong size shoes. 7/8.5 is for a size 7 shoe. The food and drinks are super expensive, bring your own. Everyone was nice. Ask questions about your tab before it gets away from you. We had a large party, maybe check for coupons or Groupons if you're going big. The birthday girl loved it.

If I could give no stars I would, I switched out to this location instead of going to the Brooklyn park location & The employees here are racist the manager with glasses is racist, if your black you are not welcomed here find a new location, our bowling lane went out twice, we had to ask for service to order food, and the short old white lady with long hair and messed up teeth was very disrespectful and when I went to get help I was treated like my business doesn't matter, I will not be returning to this lo

Was told in a rude manner by an employee that I was not allowed to bring in an outside drink (small redbull) there are no signs at the entrance saying it is not allowed. Also loaded a card for arcade games, played the claw machine, which ended up being broken, and employee was rude when I informed them of the machine not working properly, then proceeded to do nothing to further help or assist in any way

We had our sons birthday there with one of their birthday packages. The staff was quick, attentive and always checking on our needs. The kids had a blast.

It's a nice place, but most of the staff were very rude for my sons birthday party.

Very nice place. Great bowling, delicious food, and tons of fun in the arcade!

Trader Joe's is a fun place to shop. A lot of items that are tasty and unique.

I planned my sister?s 13th birthday this weekend with friends and family and it was a blast. We did the package deal for teens and it was overall a good deal. The food is surprisingly good for a bowling place. Our server Amber was very kind and attentive to our needs, Kenny brought a vibrant and open spirit by helping us take pictures as well! Although the experience was nice, we found the lane area to be unclean. I highlighted a few staff above but other staff seemed to be cold and unapproachable. Overall

The bartender Aubrey is the best! She ALWAYS goes above and beyond for me while I'm there. She's the reason we always come back and I always look forward to coming to Bowlero, especially when she's bartending/serving. Thanks for everything, Aubrey!!

My son had his birthday party at Bowlero on 4/30. We were fortunate to have Braden as our amazing party attendant. He was accessible, helpful, engaged, and a complete joy! The pizza, chicken tenders, and French fries were delicious, the sodas and water never ran out, and there were plenty of plates. We're customers for life.

Great place for my 65th birthday party, bowling 3 1/2 games

We wanted to play lazer tag at 10:48pm on wednesday 11/27 night and they said it was closed. They had also told us that they were open until 11. That's funny. One manager that works us is a women and she always lets us play that late. L establishment

Me and my friend Miriam had a good time.. I hadn't bowled in years but I had fun.

we just had THE BEST DAY at bowlero!!! bowling? stellar. arcade? blew my tiny mind. laser tag?! DDR!!! it was all so much fun. i went with all my 20-something friends but recommend bringing a six year old to really get you hyped up, it adds even more to the experience. the pizza is awesome, and i definitely recommend the giant cookie/ice cream skillet. what i was exceptionally impressed by was how clean and nice everything is, and how lovely, polite, & helpful the staff was. my friends and i all decided thi

Check the Groupon or you'll easily drop $200 here.

My daughter and I went there and had a blast playing the video games. Great place for a family get together with bowling, laser tag and video games for points.

Really nice place lots of things to do. Birthday options room or lane. Great service! All games were in working order. Didn't get to check out laser tag, so I don't know anything about it, but they have it. Food was good.

Fantastic place for a great time! We had a 9th birthday for my daughter and it was great! The staff in the bowling area and the bartender were amazing! You made our party stress free and fun!! We will definitely be back.

Nice lighting, food not so good. We had a fun time though.

good but need attendance. hire a couple more hands. either ways its tax deductible. but gain service.

Waitress was awesome, food was not the greatest. Nice place to go for family night

This place is alot of fun for the whole family. The arcade is a blast. The only part that shocked me was the price of one round of bowling for 7 people was $110.00 little spendy.

Fun, Check there specials before making reservations.

We were there to celebrate a Birthday.. Ordered food and drinks, they come with our drinks check the bday girls card, and doesn't offer a discount or free drink. The thing that blew me away was no happy birthday to her either, after checking her ID. I was the only one to have a problem with my food, but I was hungry; so I didn't say a word. My burger the two patties didnt fill out the bun like the picture. Actually seemed like they put the wrong patties on it. All the way around the burger I ate bun only..

5 stars for being clean, great lay out, and super friendly check in. Rainy day fun when here on vacation. Unfortunately seems like there is only one person working ? unfair to that worker and slow service for us. Not her fault tho! Yah for Toni to hold it together with a positive attitude!!

Hosted my daughter's birthday party a few years ago, I like how either side has lanes, arcade has a lot of great games, and a 2 level laser tag...only thing that sucks is they only give each kid a 5 dollar arcade card, and that goes super quick

Great place to take the kids out while bowling. Laser tag and dodge ball for all ages. Not the best games for arcades but for kids this will do. Busy place during the evening and the food are pretty good here.

Great bowling alley with plenty of games, good food and drink options as well.

On a Friday night they only have ONE line open to check in and out of bowling. Even employees said it was ridiculous. Laser tag is awesome though.. however this is the same line to buy that too. UPDATE: They opened a second line 10 minutes ago and haven't even helped anyone in the line w removed to. There are three people behind the counter and they are all talking to each other rather than helping. It's been 30 minute wait now. And they hold your credit card hostage so you can't toss cash and walk out. Alo

I went here with a large group of friends and we did not reserve anything ahead of time. The staff was very friendly and got us lanes together as soon as they opened, the food was good especially for a bowling alley. I paid for more games than I actually bowled and once the staff verified they gave me a refund for the unused games.

It's ok. I would've rated it better if we didn't continue to have technical difficulties with the lanes, the pins not functioning, and the bumpers not disengaging(in the beginning) during our bowling time there. Worker had to continually come fix. I approached the worker when I was returning my shoe, about the inconvenience and she said that they don't do refunds, but I told her that was not what I was intending her to do. She then said I can add more time, but by then everyone had already returned their sh

Way too expensive for bowling. I got charged over $100 for 3 people to bowl 2 games.

Nice staff. Great place very clean

DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING ONLINE. These people blatantly add hidden fees that are not disclosed at the time of booking. When we call to ask for a manager, the manager claims that the fee is in terms of conditions. So ridiculous and shady. I hope everybody that sees this review will refrain from doing business with this company. There are plenty of bowling alleys throughout the Twin City area all of which that are less expensive than this joke of a business. So disappointing such shady business. It will catch up

Nice place, but drinks are way overpriced.

Had a wonderful time at a last minute family party here tonight. Conor went above and beyond for our group even going so far as to find something (not on the menu) for my child with allergies to eat. We will definitely return in the future.

Always a great time bowling here. The lounge is also a fun space to hangout if youre not bowling. They do need better pool sticks/tables though.

Way over priced food was average won't be going back there

Came for a birthday party and had a blast! Dessert was great, but Zak was the real treat. 10/10 service with the kindest soul.

Very busy! Was unsure about wait staff helping at tables by bar but went and found someone to help. Bathrooms were not very welcoming and should be maintained more frequently. Alcoholic drinks from menu very yummy though. Game time was fun!!

We have a blast every time we come. Had two birthday parties this time, one for my daughter school friend and coworkers. Service was amazing, food was delicious, ?? time well spent and memories well made.

Excellent food, great bowling, and laser tag.

I came here with my coworkers last week. Raven was super helpful, and got us all set up quickly! Very nice experience. Best arcade around, much better than D&B.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
