Great atmosphere, with TVs, music, mood lighting. They of fenugreek ball bowling and an arcade. The food came quickly and was good (standard nachos, chicken nuggets, fries). The only downside is the cost. It cost almost $7 to rent a pair of bowling shoes, then they charge per game rather than by the hour... And the bowling device jammed on us 3 times (lane 23). So two of us paid over $100 for only an hour there plus two appetizers!!! I won't go back because it's too expensive, despite how nice the venue is.

We had a good overall experience. The lane and scoring system all worked good. The reservation process was easy and the lane was ready right on time. We tried to get the attention of management/staff and they were not fixing the issue. This place needs some improvements. The lanes are not very well built and break frequently. The first time, the ball retrieval system didn't work on lane 8. Also, the service here was NOT good. This was the worst experience I've had out in decades. If i can rate zero stars that would be the rating. The staff behind the check in / shoe counter were nasty, unkind and their service was non existent. Prices are exorbitantly expensive-food is disgusting , service slow. What a shame to be taken to the cleaners, treated like trash all while trying to have fun with your kids.

Witnessed a manager grab two 13 year old kids and drag them off the lane for no reason. They never did anything wrong, he said that they were messing around. The kids kept asking, ?what did we do? then he yelled ?Leave!? Worst place ever. Do not bring your kids here

It's clean in general, and I'm impressed with how nice they keep the restrooms. I've had problems having to go back four different shoes because the laces were knotted and I couldn't open them wide enough to get them on. We've ordered pizza there three times, and every time it was very different. Vibe and location: Definitely good vibes and location premium, almost 2 miles away from downtown Bethesda which creates a very good environment for a lot of visitors. Came here on a Monday evening and everything went great! We got an amazing deal through groupon and ended up only paying $36 for 2 hours, with shoes included. Everything seemed clean, there was a variety of food and it was just like any other decent bowling location. It might have been different during a busy day, but we had a great time!

We visited Bowlero on a Saturday afternoon with kids. There are 34 lanes and we did not have to wait. They have kids youth and toddler sized shoes. Food and alcohol are available for purchase. The food is a little expensive. They also have some arcade games. The free parking lot on site is a nice bonus. I would come here again with my kids.

My friend wanted to go bowling to celebrate his birthday weekend. We had pizza and cauliflower bites. Some of the bites were a little salty but most of them were tasty. The atmosphere was packed with kids birthday parties but the moved us to an area not too busy. Eventually, we couldn't avoid kids moving next to us. It would be nice to have an adult only time frame. Overall, we had a great time and the service was great!

i was very disappointed with my visit there tonight. even though at the start, they told us it would be an hr wait, but they will try to get us in earlier. Nothing happened till 1.5 hr later, and i had to ask forcefully to get a bowling lane, and once we got the lane, it was not functioning properly and not counting our scores. the bar staff were nice and polite but while we were waiting we ordered drinks and cripsy claiflower which also took 45 mins to arrive. cauliflower was overly fired not flavorful. i

We've come here a few times over the past decade. They are almost done with some worthwhile upgrades, including an expanded menu. The staff was very nice (especially the Friday bartender), but it was clear the folks at the check in desk were still learning the ropes. We were definitely disappointed that the arcade -- which is small but awesome -- was not working. We look forward to coming back soon, when hopefully the upgrades will be finalized.

Very modern and with good food, bowling and video games. The service was friendly and the parking easy. We celebrated a birthday and it was perfect for all the age groups involved. They will play your videos and display pictures on their big screens if you bring in a DVD.

Great bowling alley. A lot has changed since I was a kid when I had to do all the scoring by pencil and paper. With large screen TV's, a full bar, arcade, and kitchen this is a fully equipped alley. The staff was friendly and prices were reasonable comparatively.

This place is a dump. The lanes are not regulation, they aren't oiled, and they are very dirty. I brought my own ball and a brand new pair of bowling shoes. Nice spot. The people are excellent - friendly, helpful, fast. Mgr willing to grab a mop to catch a spill. The room lighting is set dark - it's a party vibe, not a sports activity vibe (even at late lunch). Dark enough to be a tripping hazard - not kidding. Recent upgrade on scoring system / display (the old was still good). Good bar, decent beers. Bar food not up to snuff. I don't arcade, so don't know.

It has good service but it's run down and there are apparently no plans to repair anything. Pins often aren't reset or it skips players. Bar drafts are out of service. Etc.

Went toddler bowling with two other couples this past weekend. Was NOT the place to bring your kids - even around 6-7pm. Service was extremely slow even when it wasn't busy, and they ran out of multiple dishes we ordered, only to find out 3-45 min later. Some of the staff was very nice, and the kids had a good time - so that was good. The bowling frame of our lane kept giving us issues. We had to reset it every 10 rounds. If your party is bigger than 4, it'll get quite congested in the sitting area of the just 1 lane. The ambience is amazing and it gets busy at weekends in the evenings. We visited this place because we had a Groupon.

We had a reserved two lanes for a party for a staff holiday party. The package was over $700 and included two lanes, shoes, 2 pizzas, 3 appetizer-style trays, a salad, and 3 types of fountain drinks. We love Bowlero Bethesda. Great spot for kids when the weather isn't great. Good food, drinks, service. Equipment is maintained pretty well and bathrooms are clean.

They have several highly active wasp nests in the bases of the trees lining their property and the front sidewalk. It isn't safe to walk to, or around this location; especially if you have small children or pets with you. I guess wear long pants and bring your own wasp spray if you're determined to bowl.

There are also a couple but rare glitches with the scores on their monitor, and one of our lanes shut 15 minutes ahead. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained. The bowling lanes were in excellent condition, and the atmosphere was lively with neon lights and upbeat music, creating the perfect ambiance for a fun night out. The lanes also had helpful bumper options for kids, making it family-friendly.

We ran into some malfunctions with our lane. The issue resolved themselves but slightly changed our scores. The drinks and beer are a little expensive for what they are. The interior is very nice with nice decor and is very clean. Great and friendly staff.

This will be my last time ever going to anything related to Bowleros. If you want them to charge you a month later and play with your hard earned money the go there. Bowling was good, animations were fantastic, the guy who gave us our shoes was yapping a bit but whatever. Also they give out free water when you're there, like by the pitcher, very nice.

Solid experience. Came by last week with a bunch of friends. General service throughout the center was slow due to short staffing, which I totally understand given the circumstances. There were 1-2 people working at the desk with what appeared to be one bartender who doubled as a server. Props to them! Food was great, but sadly they were out of the skillet cookies. Lanes did act up once or twice but could be quickly fixed with the reset button.

Way overpriced? Went there on a Sunday night after 6 - which is when most bowling alleys would have their best deals. The ?special? was the only thing offered - which ends up being $31 per person for 3 games. Basically you are paying almost 12 per game for 2 games, 5 for the third, and 2 for shoes. I understand you are in ?Bethesda?, but this isn't much of a ?special? (I guess it would be 120 for a family of 4? and that is before any food or drink). While Bowlero was a blast last evening, it wasn't due to the customer service or facilities, per say. This location is okay. Nobody was at the register to check us in and we waited for 10mins or so. Hubby and I got there about 9 on a Thursday and did the unlimited until close. That was cool. We get to our area and it hadn't been cleaned. My husband moved the trash at our assigned area.

Wonderful experience! Our group had a great time. The staff was great and made us feel like we were VIPs. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic!

Wow! What a great experience. My 5 friends and I came in last night (Sunday) to have a little birthday celebration. The entire staff was very helpful, kind, and quick. Threw my sisters baby shower here and absolutely loved it. I will say for the price I thought the space we had would be closed in and there would have been more food. We ordered enough for 40 people but it was barely enough for 20. But that didn't even matter to me because the service was Awesome! Our lane was not keeping score correctly, was clearing pins when it shouldn't be, adding scores when it should and shouldn't be. You are supposed to be able to order drinks at your lane, but because the bar tender was never at the bar he never saw the order coming in. Therefore you have to go find him to place your order. Finally the food we ordered was both burned and late. Never go here!!!

This place is a real disappointment, we went out to have good time, but the lane malfunctioned , the staff was slow to fix the problem. They wasted our time no apology offered, nothing. Also they have a very dark parking lot we had our car damaged by some other guest no surveillance cams !!! Don't go there!!!

Atmosphere was pleasant. The woman at desk the service desk was extremely helpful, informative and understanding. We had an enjoyable time. A little pricey before a certain time on Friday they offer specials on other days. We will return next time in town.

Environment has potential to be a great place for adults but the bartender who served us was terrible. I shouldn't have to continously ask for my change especially when its over $20 of change. Have yet to receive a receipt. Id rather have service from little ratatouille that ran by the lane. Other than those 2 occurrences, everything else was cool.

Was nice to get out and do an activity. The facility did have safety procedures in place for masks and distancing. The wait seemed unnecessarily long as there were available lanes when we checked in, even with allowing only every other lane to be closed off. The food was not very good considering the price. Employees were friendly and did assist well.

It's beautiful when you walk in, but the service was terrible. We ordered at food and drinks and everything only the drinks. We finish both of our games and the manager was very nice to care of the bill but then they said they were out of quesadillas at the last minute.

So overall it's a good place to go for something more casual, but if your looking to practice for big leagues it's a bit of a different story. My issues is that if you bowl regularly you will notice that the lanes are about 5 feet shorter(most bowlers are like this) and any oiled at all so I wouldn't recommend using a personal ball unless your prepared to cause lane issues like your ball getting stuck, breaking back panel yo the lane, and even damaging your ball. Usually never have an issue here.. And if I do it is resolved quickly. Every bowling alley can have issues with the lanes not working correctly. Tonight however we were served skunk beer in a pitcher, twice. They were nice enough to refund us, hence the 2 stars. But then our lane stopped working and wouldn't reset. We asked for assistance and waited 15 mins without anyone coming. Left. Ruined a friday evening out with friends and we all feel sick from the beer.

God, never had such rude staff. If you see these guys, run.
