Customer Reviews

We had our son?s 13th birthday and it was amazing! They provided everything from the food, drinks , his own bowling pin and even a cookie cake! The staff was very attentive and we had the best time

It's really a fun hangout place. Plus you can only go for the games and the price for the card isn't that bad either. I prefer going on a Saturday night since the closes at 1 am.

We had an outing with our church youth group (30+) kids. We played 2 hours of bowling, received a 10$ arcade card, and all you can eat pizza and sodas! The place has been renovated and looks really good! They have added a lot of cool up to date arcade games! The service was great and the allies were slick. Very family, friendly, fun entertainment in Auburn.

Cool bowling alley and arcade. They did a great job refurbishing/ remodelling this location. We had a few malfunctions in our lane, but they moved us to another one. Getting assistance with the technical issues took a while each time. I had to wait in line for a few minutes on each occurrence. Overall, we had a great time and will visit again.

I love this place!!! They went over and above making my son?s birthday a great success!!! The women who helped us were the sweetest most helpful in making it the success we hoped for!! You cannot go wrong with this Bowling Alley!!

We had my daughter?s 7th birthday party at AMF lanes this weekend. It was the best experience we've had so far for a child?s birthday event. The staff was extremely helpful and prepared for us. They decorated our space and had lanes ready to go. They would check in with us and coordinate when to bring out food and ice cream. They were extra kind for the entire event and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Will definitely be having more parties here! Oh and the food was fantastic!

We have always had the summer pass and decided to go today (in Feb) my kids were thrilled to go bowling and they denied us because they were going to have a kids bowling tournament in 5 minutes.. no kids were there yet? nothing posted on their fb page or anything for any type of ?heads up?.. poor customer service. To good times we go!

I had a great time they changed it a lot and it's looks very nice drink's and food is good and a good price as well.

This place completely surprised me. From the parking lot I wasn't too sure. But it was actually beautiful inside. We had so much fun and the food and drinks were great as well. They had awesome specials. Would recommend and plan to go back again.

We attended a birthday party at bowlero this morning 4/5/25. TK and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best time! Thank you & great job, guys!

Staff is great. Always have a good time. The proshop staff is fantastic and knowledgeable. Stays fairly busy.

Love this bowling alley. They updated it and it looks fabulous. The game room is fun and updated. Food is delicious and the staff were great. 10 out of 10?? Highly recommend . Sn: My daughter recorded this little video. It's kid friendly so she enjoyed it as well. ??

Love this place!!!! It has something for everyone and a great way to spend an afternoon. The staff here is amazing and its so clean!!!

Very nice facility. The snack bar prices are escalated from the average. Nice experience. Great lanes and arcade area. Bowlero has hosted several birthday parties.

Its the only bowling option in town so not much of a choice. We always have fun. Just watch for when they offer discount prices. It cost us $45 for 1 game of 2 adults and 2 children. $27 for 1 large cheese pizza and 3 drinks. This was on a Saturday afternoon. Overall the place was clean and the staff were friendly.

Bowlero is the best place to bowl! Friendly staff, clean, updated atmosphere, and good food make it a great place to bring the whole family for a fun, affordable night out. I am grateful for the kind staff which makes the entire experience so enjoyable. If you're looking to go bowling, you CAN'T go wrong with Bowlero in Auburn!

Best bowling alley on the Alabama-Georgia border! The people at the front counter are always friendly and happy to help, the food is amazing, and the bar is always stocked with some of the nicest bartenders!!! Also, the pro shop has all your competitive bowling needs with incredibly knowledgeable, kind staff and is open 6 days a week! If you're anywhere near Auburn and need a fun night out, skip the bars and restaurants and come to Bowlero! It's worth the drive!!!

Called about an hour ago was told until 5 it's $10.26 for 1.5 hours then after 5 it's regular prices, decided to come around 4:30 walked in at 4:35 was told ?they couldn't sell any lanes because league was coming in? NO MENTION OF THIS OVER THE PHONE and mind you it's POURING rain. I'm usually not one to complain but that should?ve been seriously mentioned over the phone. I'm FUMING. I was so excited.

I'll start out with the positive. The refurbishing looks good and the prices aren't bad?. On the negative?. have been here 3 times in the past 4 months and each time was met with short staff and long waits for the bar and for general check-in. Today was bad for staffing, so much so that the kitchen was closed. We had a group of about 20 that were happy to buy food and bowl. The only reason the experience was good is the ONLY staff member, Terence. He juggled check in and the bar, by himself until 5pm and

I absolutely love the new upgrade and the customer service was awesome... I will definitely be back ...

We were pleased with our visit ! Our party was greeted with wonderful employees & offered suggestions on bowling/arcade packages. This location is beautiful, very clean, well stocked, and an absolutely wonderful experience!

The staff is very friendly and will help you with all your needs. Great place for your kids birthday party.

I threw my daughter's 9th birthday here tonight and the experience was amazing the manager, kitchen staff, the young lady who took care of us I wish I knew y'all names but thank you so much for your patience and kindness. Y'all are awesome

Super helpful and friendly staff and great food!

The bowling alley itself no issues however, most disappointing that very few of the arcade games actually were working but, couldn't tell the ones that were not until we scanned the cards and realized we were charged for games that were not played.

Went to bowl few balls out here with friends on Thursday night. To our surprise some student offer starts from 8, you can play unlimited games for just $7. There are various food combos available to try and cheap beer offers for students.

Called up asking for pricing for the day arrived 15 minutes later to a empty bowling alley other than 2 or 3 lanes being used just to be told they couldn't sell anymore lanes because league play starts in 30 minutes and no one else could bowl, why not just say that on the phone instead of letting me drive here for nothing very annoying.

They over charged me 50 bucks and for items I didn't purchase. They won't take responsibility for it and are making me run in circles. The employee who rung me up quit and they can't "access the purchase now" the employees/this business steal money from people make sure to triple check what they charge you for the night of and day after and you'll see.

Thank you, Zach! I've lived in this town my whole life. We had a bad experience with the previous manager and have not been back. Zach gave us a voucher and asked us to try again. We loved the new menu, that he was cooking, and we really enjoyed our experience this time.

Great service and good. This would get 5 stars but the price was about $500 for 12 people 1.5 hours and food. Lane 5 messed up several times which messed up our time frame. Was only able to play one and a half games in our 1.5 hours due to multiple pin mechanism failure on lane 5. Another party was booked right after us so we could not finish our game. Other than those problems it was a fun event.

Wonderful atmosphere, love the new look!

It was lots of fun! But I thought it was too expensive!

Very unprofessional management. Zach is always leaving every shift and most times shows up late or does not come back. Jasmine is a very good sweetheart; she's always there and helpful. She needs a vacation

From the booking of, to the actual event, this was the worst experience. First, my husband requested Friday night but the invoice said Saturday! I asked Leslie about it and she said, Oh it's the same rate. OK, so what about showing up a day early? I pressed my husband to clarify before we signed anything or paid and sure enough FRIDAY NIGHT IS LEAGUE NIGHT and the lanes we needed wouldn't be available! Thanks Leslie! My husband then, agreed to Saturday night. We made half the payment. The day of final payme

I went there with my cousins

My daughter likes to bowl it is nicer since they revamped the place only wish the arcade was bigger much nicer than before but in that area they can't compete with Stars and Stripes

My childhood bowling alley! It's always been a great place but wow they've really stepped up their game recently! Staff is very friendly, and was very accommodating for my dad and me! Definitely returning soon!

During Christmas break they get rid of all there specials and raise prices .

I was shocked by prices too. However compared to the other place in town customer service is outstanding, place is thoroughly clean, and overall atmosphere is amazing. I will gladly pay a little more for an enjoyable evening and to bowl with less chaos.

Had a blast, will be back for sure.

Family fun! We got a flat on the way, but Jeremy made us laugh and got us settled in quickly. He was attentive to everyone. The food was good and came out quickly. It was a full house with young kids in groups. An assortment of arcade games and one pool table, just enough assortment to make everyone/teens happy. Facility is older which is why I gave it a 4 star. I hear updates are in the works! We really look forward to coming back!

Such a good environment. Feels very safe and comfortable?with reasonable prices. The arcade games are amazing compared to what they used to be and the food is a lot better.

Took my son bowling. Staff was very accommodating and the food was great as well. Will definitely be bringing my family back in the future.

It's currently in the state of remodeling and upgrade, but all in all a clean, well run bowling alley with friendly staff.

This place is amazing!! Every time I come here, my coworkers and I have a blast. The manager Brandi is one of the most professional and generous people I have ever met. She was quick to handle a mistake on our parts and assure us that it was no problem. We will definitely continue to make our Wednesday nights a AMF Bowling one!!

Since rebranding to Bowlero, the prices here have jumped to being outrageous. It was going to be ~$32 per person to play three games in a group of 5. Gone are the days of unlimited bowling specials too. The place looked very nice compared to the old AMF. Arcade was fleshed out, TV monitors across the alley were high quality, but the place was dead on a Friday night (probably thanks in part to the new pricing).

It was awesome! My 7-year-old daughter, my mother, my husband, and I came in today! We played arcade games (I won everything except cotton candy and a stuffed animal. My daughter and husband won those!) Then bowled! Fun times! Nice place! The staff was awesome! Watching the bowling class from AU was fun, too!

Great staff! Great Pro shop with courteous pros that share knowledge and do great work on your equipment. Bowling ball drilling is top notch!

Great fun for all ages. Usually a Groupon is available, as well!

First time coming, it was an amazing day here.. the staff was very short but they did a great job handling everything. Please try the food because it was better than some restaurants.

Good Times wasn't open yet so we rolled the dice going here with the kids on a Friday around noon. The place has been updated since I was last there so that's a positive. Unfortunately, the GM misled us completely on the pricing and it isn't a pay first setup so we didn't know the damage until after the fact. If it were just adults it would have been fine but paying $20 for a two year old to "not bowl" was a rip off. We'll continue going to good times for family bowling.

Nice lanes! Fun atmosphere. Loved the lady behind the counter named Brandy. She was super helpful and so respectful and friendly. Can't wait till the next time we can come back with the family!!

Awesome time for New Years! Clean environment and friendly staff. Zach took great care of us!

The manager by the name of Zachary decided because I am a league member that I can not bowl my 2 free games or any other games that I could?ve paid for as a league member only because he wanted to ? sell the lanes to the unlimited bowling customers instead of me he refused to let me pay for any additional games and also put a family behind me as I was being forced to bowl my last game this is actually outrageous and frustrating to even say that I bowl here if this is how I'm treated

High priced drinks with basically ZERO alcohol. Ordered a double and tasted like the juice.. I initially gave a 1 star but that was too harsh. I revised to 3 but the drinks need to be proper for that price.

I love this place we having such a amazing time. Mix drinks off the chain. Keep up the good service.

Last time I came here, Austin specifically was extremely helpful and friendly regarding an issue with my credit card. Overall excellent customer service and good music. This place always has special offers throughout the week for college students and those who don't wish to spend too much on bowling. Highly recommend!

This is a fun place to go but the lane we were on broke about 4 times during 2 games. The people were nice and fixed it quickly most times but one fix we had to wait about 10 minutes for. Also thet usually only have one person at the register so it's very slow to get anything. Overall good experience but that was pretty annoying. We went late on a Saturday night so they had good music playing and we enjoyed bowling!

They were so accommodating. We came with a large group but one of our children is in a wheelchair and they were able to put us all together where our son could move around easier.

We had my son's birthday party here, and they made it easy. We will definitely keep them in mind for next time.

Love the specials they always have running! Like unlimited bowling for 2 hours for only $20 bucks is a steal. They have pool and an arcade room with air hockey and good drink selections for adults. All around a fun time

Good place for bowling. Been there thrice within a month and my experience each time was good. The staffs are friendly and cooperative. They have special discounts too at certain time of specific days and prizes too. You might just get lucky with a 100$ Bowling ticket prize.

They will get you what you need no matter what. We had a scheduling issue and they took full initiative to make sure we had everything we needed. There's not another bowling alley in Alabama that would give you that treatment. AMF Auburn is where you need to go bowling if you have the choice.

We enjoyed our first time here (newcomers from FL). The only reason I gave four stars is because there wasn't much of a ball selection. Packed night and the only abundance left were 12lb balls! We lucked out with a single 8 pounder though. It was my husband, teenager, baby and myself. Cost was about $45/one game with shoes and socks. Highway robbery, but honestly that's any bowling alley you attend. The customer service was friendly as well! Will definitely return.

Came for the Vulcan Materials family day and had a wonderful time. The food was good and the staff were friendly.

Metrics Fitness Lab took a group to bowl and we loved every second of our experience! It was comfortable and inviting and we laughed and ate and cheered each other on! It's the best place!

The place is awesome after recent remodel! New food and Bar areas are fantastic plus a new arcade.

Service is great! The food is restaurant quality (some people come in just for food!) and the whole experience is definently worth the price. Always a fantastic time!

Smells like sewage. Offensive, horrible language rap music playing. Not family friendly. Will not recommend. Go to the other bowling alley 3 minutes away.

Great atmosphere and good prices. I went with some friends and it was only 2.22 a game. That's hard to beat. They have a special almost every night. Definitely recommend this place.

Very nice place! Very friendly staff.

I like this place and I go here all the time with my friends for fun, a league, and practice/games for my high school team and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Awesome customer service, Jeremy is very friendly and attentive. It doesn't matter if it's a large group or just two we still get good service.

The pro shop was the absolute best. I brought my father-in-law a new bowling ball, bag and shoes. But, in Mccorvey's Pro Shop was Mr. Doug Henderson who fitted him for the ball after helping him with his selection by answering and advising every question concerning which ball was best for him. Then he was measured and checked throughout the process. After drilling the ball he was allowed to bowl several frames for adjustments to be made. My father-in-law was very happy with his new gear. Mr. Henderson nev

It was an amazing place they are very friendly and very helpful. If you won't to have loads of fun please come out and have fun...

Had fun and really like the upgrades since remodeling.

The bar tender, a young lady from Nashville TN, was AWESOME! HATS OFF TO HER!

Food is is good, most of the time. Service is hit or miss sometimes. It's consistently okay, but gets away with it because there isn't anything else like it in town.

$7 unlimited hours on Thursdays starting at 8pm, weekends are around $12 or $14. Serve beer, the food might cost slightly steep. There are some arcade games and a pool table. They have an accessories store inside as well.

It's just your regular bowling place. The price was very high. Just for 2 kids to play one game it came to almost $40. I would not recommend this place if you are on a budget. If you have extra money to spend then I would recommend this place.

The staff was very friendly! It was clean and the atmosphere was family-friendly.

AMF Auburn Lanes has improved greatly over the past 6-8 months! It is cleaner, better take care of and under awesome management! My Husband and I love it! Great Job AMF Auburn!!

The environment is much better than amf and good times. It was a great place to have a birthday get together.

Bowling employees were very friendly. Good deals available. Lanes and equipment in good shape. It would be nice if bowlers were told about bowling etiquette before getting a lane.

We bowled and played in the arcade for a bit. It was a tad bit on the expensive side in my opinion (but we did have a large group.)

Fun and clean inside. Doesn't smell like smoke inside. Does serve alcohol (at night at least), haven't been in the morning. Fair priced for bowling

Very good bowling arena ??

Nice staff. Decent arcade. Lanes weren't too bad.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
