The staff was friendly and attentive, the lanes were in great shape, and the whole atmosphere was full of energy and excitement. My son 1st time in Bowlerland on his High School league and his ball was destroyed. There's a total of 14 gouge?s in his ball. His teammates also suffered damage to their personal bowling balls. Went for the first time during a weekday, at an early time, so it wasn't crowded. It was clean and reasonably priced. Would go back again. Most importantly, to share is that they only take cash, which h can be inconvenient at times. A lot of people no longer carry that. Lol

I've been on a hunt for the perfect place to bowl with my kids. My kids want to be able to throw a ball down a lane with bumpers. This fits the bill in every way for me. It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, well maintained, not gimmicky, and reasonably priced. The negatives are nitpicky and really don't matter. It's cash only without an ATM, so prepare for that. It's in a weird part of town, but doesn't feel completely out of place, and generally doesn't matter either.

Me and my family have always come to this bowling alley for many years since we've been in Co-Op City. I haven't been here since before the pandemic so it was nice to come back in 2025 to see what has changed. i go here for all my school bowling games, its really nice compared to the area its in. prices are great compared to other places closer to me. great vibe, on saturday nights it gets pretty busy. food prices are a little high, but theres snacks in the vending machines.

Had a nice time took my family here for here a bday outting. We went on Saturday evening which was supposed to be dinosaur kids glow in the dark. Needless to say their was no glow in the dark action. We got there a bit after 8pm and left almost 930pm and still there was no glow in the dark going on. When we did ask they kept saying "oh it should happen soon". Soon never happened. So besides that major detail and the reason we came the bday girl still enjoyed herself and I guess that is what mattered most.

Bowerland has been a place we have bowled in for over 30 years. Children bowled on leagues at some point. We had fun bowling with the family. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship. We encountered some staff very robotic, unprofessional, and unkind. The place is in dire need of updating to match the times we are in.

Definitely needs some updating and staff can be very short with their guests. A lot of the arcade games don't work. They do have vending machines and food is so pricey here. Don't think I'll be coming back.

Honestly one of my favorite bowling alleys till this day. Had lots of fun the staff was super friendly. There's a bar and even a pool table and the bowling games as well as rental shoes are SUPER affordable. Highly recommended

I came here with my family for an afternoon of bowling. I was extremely discouraged that is this a CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT but does not make it known until it's time to pay. They should have signage on their doors viewable from the outside making this known, especially because they do not have an ATM on site. This place is a joke! The owner at Gunhill's location is miserable and rude and the drinks are excessively OVERPRICED! 2 DRINKS FOR $35 and they were barley a drink! Is a family friendly place with affordable prices and fun for all ages; we tried the pizza and everyone ate it but didn't understand why, specially on a Sunday between 2-5pm, there was only one staff member; the same guy giving you prices and the shoes was the same guy taking the food orders.

The man in there discriminated against me and my disability. Because he couldn't physically see my disability he said I didn't have one. I don't know if my color upset him but he looked me in my face and told me my Service Dog wasn't allowed because service dogs are for disabilities and I don't have one. A very cool bowling hall with a great atmosphere. Only a couple of things that stood out 1 its cash only, with no atm on site. And it is in the middle of nowhere. You have to walk a good 10 mins incase you came here with no cash, doesn't help that it isn't said anywhere that its the case. I only found out once I got to the main desk. I wouldn't recommend this place at all! It was really dirty, and the customer service was terrible. The guy with dreads was rude to my friends and me, and he even cursed at us when we complained about the poor quality of the pizza. The box was filthy, and there was a fingerprint on our pizza, so we didn't eat it. I regret not taking a picture. Definitely never going back.

I went there with 3 of my friends. It was pretty empty but we loved it, the style and everything, it wasn't modern and was more old fashioned which made us love it more. I came here with my family for a fun night & I was so disappointed by the lack of good bowling balls. I couldn't even find a medium sized in any weight. Place was clean but extremely hot & it was inconvenient that they are a cash only business. This location seems a little bit expensive for what they offer. Their vending machines are outrageous five dollars for a snickers bar but otherwise just the usual fee of fried foods from their food counter. One major complaint was that every lane we went to bowl on eventually failed, and we had to move to another lane. But the overall environment was pretty clean.

I just called to see how much was the prices for bowling and the customer service is so off the guy who answer the phones sound like he didn't even want to be there when he answer he was like bowling but he sound like he was tired and didn't like his job the greeting was not a 0..... Went about 4 times so far and each time the staff was great and the experience as a whole was fun. The bartender epsecially really knew her stuff when it came to fixing our drinks and she was a great host. Food is good too. Just keep in mind they're cash only, and you'll have a blast.

The place was a bit in the middle of nowhere, it seems very race dominated (no diversity) when we walked in to bowl a few games the girl at the counter ignored us for the first 5 minutes until we knocked on the glass, as we looked around it was very dirty and unwelcoming. Super safe and friendly service. Temperature was checked at the door and all sections are definitely separate. There's plastic dividers separating groups of people. Lots of hand sanitizer stands as well. The bar and food areas are closed. Only the vending machine is the only source of snacks.
