I have been bowling here as a part of zogsports league for years. This weekend I went in with my new bowling ball and met with the owner Rich in the pro shop to have my ball drilled. Rich took the time to see me bowl a few balls to see my bowling style, then took measurements to properly drill my ball. Once finished he brought me to a lane to try my new ball and even coached me on my style and throwing technique. He genuinely cares about bowling, his business and customers, and it really stood out. Amazing experience at this bowling alley. A must-visit place if you're looking for some fun activities. The games are comparatively cheaper. 3 games for just 15$. It also has some arcade games. You can also find pros playing here to enjoy a good show. Many of us tried bowling for the first time. Believe me, 1st game was just a warm-up. In the following games, we had a blast. We enjoyed our time at the Bowl-Rite lanes. Including the rental of the bowling shoes, we paid $30 for two games for the two of us. We went on a weekend and it was packed. Amazing place in Union City in New Jersey to enjoy a good evening with friends. It has around 32 bowling lanes and a ping pong lounge and we can order food as well. It is pretty reasonably priced and the lane the ambience is good as well with good lighting. The only thing is that the entrance looks like a old factory entrance or something but the inside is very well maintained.

I took my little one here to his friend?s birthday party & we had a great time. Staff was great and loved the antique looking atmosphere. Oh and you can get a cheap drink to calm you down from the kiddie madness! ??

Great venue for a birthday party you can rent the entire upstairs. The drinks are cheap and food is okay! The only difficult part is the parking.

Just a quick trip through the Lincoln tunnel will yield a bowling experience that is far superior to any lanes in Manhattan. Great value. Tough parking. We paid $26 for two games and two shoe rentals. Can't complain about that! The place is pretty well kept, though we did run into some issues with the computer at our lane and needing the staff's help to enter our names and start the game for us. All in all, a nice place to go bowling.

Bowl Rite's staff is amazing for hosting parties! Sam was my host for my son's 5th birthday and she was so fun and helpful from entering kids names in the game queue to making sure we had enough plates and napkins for the cake. The kids had a blast and my son said it was, "The best day EVER!"

My husband was dying to come here after Impractical Jokers. We had a blast! Very outdated lanes but it was a nice atmosphere.

Had an amazing evening with my family and friends. We hadn't seen each other very much due to the pandemic but this bowling alley offered a lot of nostalgic memories that had us giddy. We drank some beers, played 3 games of bowling and even gave a turn on the boxer game machine. It was very fun, the price is very affordable at 5$ per person, with 2 people we played 5 games for $50 and stayed their for over 2 1/2 hours. Coming from Manhattan it would be over $70 per hour so this place is definitely the more affordable option. We had to wait 30minutes as it was pretty busy, but everything worked well their, and had nearly any errors when we were bowling!

Super chill. Getting shoes, paying, and finding balls was a breeze. They have super yummy fries for the refuel snack. The bathrooms were really clean. The lights were on versus upstairs that was more vibey with neons and stuff.

So much fun. The staff really help you . I will recommend this place because of its fair rates.

Love coming here for affordable bowling ?? The facility has a decent number of lanes, and it's great to go when it's not crowded. There's a little bar inside, and concession stand which is convenient. On crowded days it can get crazy with kids running around, very inebriated adults and the wait times so plan ahead.

Went with a group of 4 friends on Saturday evening around 5pm. The entrance might seem dingy but once you're in the bowling alleys are perfectly all right. Reasonably priced. Paid 15 bucks per person for 2 games of bowling and shoe rental. Decent food as well.

Great place to have a party for kids! Friendly staff and customers. Only issue up on flight of stairs. Hard for people with physical issue, such as grandparents.

There's no parking lot. I called to ask if they were opened around 8 PM no one answered so i guess their time is wrong on google. Didnt even get a chance to bowl

A nice night our bowling alley, nothing fancy - they have a couple of arcade machines and a pool area. They also sell alcohol and comfort food. Overall we had a nice experience even though our machine kept getting stuck. If you're looking for a cheap, nice, close to home option - I would definitely recommend. If you are after something more luxurious then it's probably not the place for you.

The entrance is not very big and we missed it at first because I though it was a side entrance. Inside it was much better. The service was nice and the prices were very good.

Nice place to hangout with friends. I often go with a group of 4-6 ppl and play 2 games. Ideal place for a group activity.

We had my husband's birthday party here and it was a real hit we had a lot of fun bowling. The event was very affordable but they only take one bill! I would definitely recommend this as a venue for a birthday!??????

I arrived with a group of 30 ppl looking to bowl without a reservation. The staff was great. The staff said wait time would be anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours. They went above and beyond and got my group lanes all together and in less time than they said I would have to wait. Staff was friendly and patient with all the chaos that came with having such a large group.

Bowl-Rite was great! The lanes were busy (it was league night). But a few of us got a couple drinks at the bar and shot some pool in the while we waited for a lane to become available. The appetizers were good too. Service was great overall.

Came here with family. I liked how they gave us sanitized bowling balls. People were fairly spread out. Prices were pretty decent too.

Pins seemed very light on any pocket shots. Mediocre service at best and too many children on the lanes distracting the professional bowlers. Good family bowling during the day though for $2.25 per game.

Not family friendly if you have kids who needs a stroller. It's on second floor. I guess good for teens and people who don't have younger children. Affordable $5 per person per game. They have food too but we didn't get any. Wanted to give this a shot since we never been here but in future we'll be going to somewhere that's stroller/wheelchair accessible.

Took my girls here today after school and we had the best experience. I also took them here over summer break and had an equally great time so I felt compelled to share with other families. A wide range of shoe sizes. They have a separate bar in the premises which also makes food. At the entrance there's also a few arcade games that you can play if you're not bowling at the time.

Great value and the place is empty on a Sunday morning if you go upstairs. The lanes are probably in need of a good oiling. Our lane kept breaking down until they finally switched us to a new lane. They were nice about it and fixed it promptly every time.

Amazing atmosphere of gritty casual without being intimidating. Almost like a family friendly dive bar. Plus the food is pretty good and everyone just has a lot of fun. There can be a wait on weekends but the have arcade machines and a bar so you can enjoy your wait.

I want not knowing what to expect because I hadn't been here since I was in high school. I can honestly say the place has kept up with the times. Very clean and pleasant. There was a league playing downstairs but we went upstairs and it was quiet. We had a great time

Love this place , cheap games , cheap shoe rentals , cheapest bar I have sat at in years. ALL QUALITY! It works the drinks are strong , the bowling lanes work , the place is clean and we have fun everytime we go! Love this place. Also the chicken tenders are really solid for what they are and I appreciate them having bbq and honey mustard to dip in.

Went on a Sunday night and it was pretty packed but we didn't wait long for a lane. The lanes are well maintained, didn't have any issues with the pins resetting. We'll definitely come back. The staircase wasn't as sketchy as people say but it is narrow.

I can't bowl a lick but loved the atmosphere. All employees were kind and the hot wings were tasty. The only issue I had was, there was no way to get change. They said there was a ATM but it was located on premise. That was a sore eye of sorts. Some games featured a card slot for a debt but I'm almost 50. I wanted to play Pac Man but due to the lack of change, that was a no go. Besides that me and my boy had a great time. I'll definitely return.

Bowl Rite Lanes is one of the best places in Hudson County. This place hasn't really changed since I was a kid, but that's why I love it. This is a local hangout for kids and adults alike. The vibe here is super calm, casual, and everyone has the same idea in mind - to bowl and have a good time! Compared to the other bougie bowling alleys around the area, Bowl Rite is fairly priced. Went here for my friend's daughter's birthday party. It was awesome! They have an arcade section and the bowling alley glows in the dark. Pizza, chicken fingers and fries were delicious. The pasta had a weird taste. They also serve drinks ;)

Went here for a birthday party and had a blast! The upper section is used for the private parties and it works well. Feels private and not invaded/distracted by other bowlers/bowling groups. Seems well run with a friendly and good staff. Enjoyed the event and flow; wish it had been longer we were all having so much fun! It's not the most modern or beautiful bowling alley we've ever been to but it's a nice, local gem that's for sure!

They scammed us. Said it was 13 per person (we played two games) and we paid around 150 when we should?ve paid around 117. Bowling was fun but paying was complicated since they kept saying we were missing money when we obviously didn't.

Extremely friendly and all around feel-good place to bowl. Some of the amenities are broken and dirty (like the keyboard won't let you use certain letters to enter your name, and occasionally the ball gets stuck down lane) but if you're the type to whom that sort of thing seems charming, you will feel right at home.

Inside this place very cool atmosphere, huge bar, although the choice is not great. Bowling + karaoke give popularity. I really liked the cozy situation in which I want to relax. Great place the fact you can park on the CVS is very convenient. Their lanes are okay but it's a great atmosphere to go with friends and family.

Go there all the time. They take good care of me. The owner is present and always willing to give tips on your game. Drinks and food are at a reasonable price. Great place to bring the family or even just come with friends for drinks and games.

Have only been to the bowling section. It absolutely gets your job done. Not so fancy, you get best what you are asked to pay for, fair! Staff is all good. I have seen them sanitizing the shoes and also the bowling balls. Everything there is fairly priced. All of us in the group had fun!

My wife an I moved to the neighborhood a year ago. I like to bowl and would love to have date nights at a bowling alley. I had no idea this place was so close to our house, I never thought to look either. I happened to go to the CVS around the corner and saw the sign. I looked up the place and it looked like a solid bowling alley. When we came it was a classic venue with a unique setup. What was amazing were the prices! A fun night on a budget!

This place was fun, the food was good, and I'll definately go back. Take an uber there though because parking is tough there.

Great for broke High School and College students. Cheap prices. Average food (mainly good as snacks). The workers are nice. Kids birthday parties are good here.

People were super nice. Chicken fingers were good. We got lane 24 up against the wall and it was a little tight. The pin dropper kept knocking the front pin over if it wasn't knocked down with the first ball.

Great prices, dozens of lanes. Sometimes tricky to find a specific weight ball, but lots to choose from. Shoe rental available and bowling is priced per person per game. Bumpers and light balls available for kids. Definitely recommend for an inexpensive and fun, no-frills outing.
