It's a pretty nice spot, nothing fancy but everything seemed clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside to me had is the price. I reserved a space for 12 people, this only included 2 lanes and shoes rentals for the 12, it came out to 320.00 or about 26.00 per person. I don't know if this is just the going rate for bowling now but it seems pretty steep for what should have been a cheap event.
Cindy and her team do a wonderful job. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern this facility is on our first visit, and we've become regular customers since then. My family always has a great time!
The employee Shy is amazing he gets 5 stars My family and I are frequent customers of your establishment. I have to commend your employee Shy for all his hard work and efforts. Shy has made EVERY experience as it should be a family atmosphere with music, lights and laughter. Unfortunately though is one person MANY times like today May 11,2025 he was short staffed, Shy was the mechanic , snack bar attendant ,set up for events and all the while also trying to attend the front desk. What makes this sad is iv
It's exactly what I was looking for, not super busy, great service, quality oiled lanes, good prices. It just reminded me of a good old fashioned no frills bowling alley. I'm not a fan of the new monstrous bowling alleys with kids running reckless all over.
Came here with a Groupon. Read the reviews of the particular bowling alley afterwards and grew slightly concerned. Were pleasantly surprised. We went with 4 adults and 2 children. Everything went smooth and we had fun. I would def come back!
I used to come here and go bowling all the time every saturday. I used to pay A flat fee! I used to bowl as many Games as I want! From 9pm until midnight! But last night on January 18 2024! I got charged $86 dollars! And the black guy Told me he was Giving me a discount! This will be The last night that I will ever come back to that location! I never had any issues with them until tonight!
Very fun place to go to! The prices are reasonable and staff was very professional to my family and I, definitely coming back for sure!!!!??????????
This bowling center is clean and modern, manager Cindy truly cares and her contagious professionalism permeates throughout the staff. Many renovations are recent and more are on the way. Everyone who has contact with customers is pleasant and helpful.
My place for Monday bowling leagues... Awesome atmosphere. The bowling got a face lift a few years back and it looks nice!
This is one of the older bowling centers in the area but hands down one of the best. AMF might be buying up all the houses anymore which is absolutely terrible, this house still feels traditional. The Manager is a great person that spends time to know the patrons and is always extremely friendly. It doesn't matter if you are an avid bowler or a family wanting to just enjoy a night of fun, this bowling alley is great for everyone.
My sister-in-law did a Groupon and we all had a good time!!
This is a nice bowling alley. The staff was very helpful and provided great customer service. Compared to other bowling alleys it does seem dated, but they support a youth bowling league that home schoolers benefit from.
Best alley i?ve been too; Very affordable and reasonable.. The environment is very relaxing and everyone seems to be in good spirits! Seems like the perfect alley for league or even to go run a few games on your own time!!
This was for my bday... we had a fantastic time. Plus, the group is bigger every Sunday when we get together for church "small group" time
Made a family outing visit there as part of our Thanksgiving weekend. Overall it was a fun outing and we will most likely return again. The staff we encountered were friendly and professional. I would rate it 5 stars if there were a better selection of bowling balls, such as more higher weight balls and lower weights with larger finger openings. Also we encountered problems with the balls being returned mechanically immediately after the first throw.
Great food great environment. The only issue is the seating. There's not enough and the way its setup up. makes sharing and being next to larger groups difficult cause they take up all the limited space. Mostly a Thursday to Saturday issue I'd say .
We were there for the VA State Youth Tournament on June 23, 2024. There was no air conditioning the entire day. Kids were sweating, cutting sleeves off of their jerseys, getting sick and wetting their shirts in the bathroom to wear just to get some relief from the heat. After 3 games, they assembled oscillating fans and sat them around the building but with the temp being 101 outside, it didn't provide much relief. This alley knew last year that they would be hosting this tournament. Kids that bowled there
18 year old granddaughter and 7 friends had a bowling party's for her birthday. They had 2 hours of bowling, pizza, drinks and arcade cards to play games. Staff was friendly and helpful and the facility was very nice looking. A little pricey but in the end worth it. The girls had a great time
We had so much fun bowling with friends! Food and drinks were good. Good service! Missing some music for motivation.
The bowling experience and ambiance was less than expected. It is difficult to expect modern bowlers to stand and bowl. The seats are located too far from the bowling location and the food selection is less minimal at best compared to other facilities in the local Fairfax area. We have decided to spend our time elsewhere in the future.
EDIT: Please call beforehand because on weekdays, the lanes are all booked up for leagues. We've been disappointed multiple times throughout the week due to wanting to bowl on weekdays but no available lanes. Call beforehand but my advice is if it's a weekday, go somewhere else. We recently discovered this place and we love going here so far especially because of how close it is to Lorton. The bowling alley is smooth and great, however the balls are very old. The seating is weird because about 6 lanes will
I went there with my wife to bowl a few games. The staff were friendly. The snack bar was open. The games looked in good repair. Nothing extra special so not 5 stars because of that only. Otherwise it is a good bowling alley.
My husband and I had a wonderful time bowling and we love the upgrades of the building inside and out side ??. The pic is from the last time we came to bowl!
We had our 8-year-old?s birthday party here after another parent had mentioned having a positive experience. I loved that I was able to book online, which was very easy. I called a few days before with a couple of questions and had all of them answered easily. The party was today and it was absolutely the best party experience we have had. Both managers were very friendly and checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and attended to the little things, like offering a Sharpie to label the a
My son just had his birthday party there yesterday and it was epic! The manager on duty was great! They accommodated us with letting us hang a few decorations and use our themed plates. The bowling alley was clean and updated. Great experience. We will be back!
Myself, and some coworkers went in this afternoon and experienced the worst Customer service. I asked for Mayonnaise which they charged me an extra $.75 and when we asked to bowl, they said That the lanes were closed. There was absolutely no one else in the bowling alley. I feel we were being targeted because we were minorities. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will never return for a second experience.
Great memories and food and customer service ??
Don't go there with a Groupon. As soon as I took it out, the person at helping us attitude changed and she said she had no open lanes and she didn't know when she would have open lanes. Phone messaging system told us just to show up. The place was not busy at all. Not returning to this location.
I've loved this place for years! They have remained a popular bowling alley because you can get traditional bar snacks like pizza and nachos and beer. They also have been an active league alley for well over a decade, maybe two. Lots of house balls to choose from, albeit a little worn. They have bumper rails for kids and midnight bowling on weekends. Recently taken over by Bowlero and will be going through a renovation soon to reflect it. Great place for a date and to meet up with friends and coworkers. I s
Sometimes nice, sometimes not so much. When busy they actually process people through front desk fairly quickly, but tables sit full of trash. Maybe more of a dig on the customers, but busy times are unpleasant with unruly children engaging in potentially dangerous horseplay, and getting in the way of others' lanes. The business could police this a bit better.
Birthday party! Kids had a great time.
Every single time* I come here, I have to wait 5 to 10 minutes for someone to help me at the counter to buy some games. I asked why, and I received an apology and the explanation that people are expected to work multiple jobs and also work the desk at the same time. This is absolutely unacceptable from a customer service point of view. Management, fix yourself and staff the damn counter as a permanent position. Stop pulling them off to work other things while a line builds up at the counter. Your staff sh
Me and my co-workers decided to come here to celebrate birthday. But we all very disappointed how poor the customer service was. We ordered three separate set of meal and drinks, we spent 200$ plus tax, so I first ordered Large fries, Wings and Mozzarella sticks. I asked the lady for mayonnaise, she gave me three squirt it's actually disrespectful amount, so I asked for more she said no, and she said i have to pay 75cent for it. So i said NVM. My other co worker ordered garlic fries and breadstick. So we as
Customer service goes a long way! I've only bowled maybe 4-5 times in my adult life. And kinda dreaded going, but that changed the first night I came here. My first experience here, sparked my interest to make bowling a new hobby. I walked into the shop just being curious and ended up buying a bowling ball, pair of shoes, roller bag, and cleaning tools, for my husbands birthday. Darren was so patient and kind, his customer service was top notch! I had to come back on my lunch break a few days later to get m
Always a WIN! , cant go anywhere else. Its close to home, and everyone can always meet up here. Yes a bit dated, but they are working on dressing up the place. Clean atmosphere, and clean kitchen. Friendly staff, I'm glad to see the pros still come here and compete. Support the Locals!
Had a kids birthday party here with 18 kids across three lanes. Hands down the best kids birthday party venue we've been to! The manager, JJ, was super nice and helpful, and the rest of the staff was friendly and supportive for our party. Thank you for an awesome time! Everyone had a blast!
Great, friendly staff. Lanes are good. New scoring systems are much nicer and easier to use. Lower cost than other alleys in the area.
No a/c in 100-degree weather. Had the youth play in those extreme conditions for a tournament. Where kids were throwing up, drenched in sweat, crying, hyperventilating, and didn't even care to change the location of the tournament, knowing that they didn't have a/c for weeks before.
Friendly staff, good food, fun environment . Had a great time at the New Years Eve Party
Had a good time with good company and the food was on the spot. Burger and fries, just perfect! Nice clean facilities. Staff was friendly and the music was pumping ??
Terrible customer service. You'll stand at the counter for 5+ minutes and zero acknowledgment. Tried to get their attention several times
Came here for Youth State Tournament today and was told the air conditioner is not working. Kids have to bowl 6 games and covered in sweat before first game is even over.
Very good for bowling and staff !
We love homeschooling bowling in this location. The people are kind, the place is clean, and the teachers, Mr Barry and Mr Jim, are great teachers.
This place is stuck in the past in a good way. I love the old retro thing that this ?? gives off. There's a good bit of old timers that could show you a thing or two. I had a blast. I didn't eat any food but it smelled good. The customer service was great.
Bad timing I guess. Air conditioning was broke during the kids tournament. I was 94 degrees outside and at least high 80s inside. Made for terrible bowling conditions.
Everyone here is really nice EXCEPT the front desk cashiers. They are just so unpleasant. Even when they try to put on a happy face, it's evident that they hate it there. I don't know why because the people make the food are nice and cheery, the owners are nice and cheery, I don't know what excuse they have but since that is the first stop you make in your bowling experience and your last stop, it truly sets a unwelcoming mood.
We had the best afternoon here!! Staff was incredibly friendly, they went out of their way to make sure my grand children had everything they needed! It was not terribly crowded, so we had plenty of time to play. Food and drinks were typical of bowling alley fare.
Awesome people! If you like, love, or have never tried bowling, come check it out! Update: still a great place. The only negative thing I can say is the food is way overpriced.
Went to celebrate my grand-daughters birthday and the place was clean, but the food people seemed at a loss. We finally got the food; cheese and pepperoni pizzas, chicken wings, meatball's and drinks. Bowling was fabulous!
There's this invention. Maybe the management of this bowling alley has heard of it. It's called "air conditioning." I bet this house has a unit. Just need to turn it on.
I give this place a 2 star because we didn't have to wait for a lane on a Friday night. If not for that it would be a 1 star. Do not go here if you have a child who needs bumpers unless you want to bowl with bumpers up also. The place is expensive, but it is run down. It's in the bottom 3 bowling alleys I have ever bowled in.
The cosmic bowling wasn't really as I expected but the staff was really friendly and helpful as we tried to decide what we were going to do. However, that horrible old carpet/damp/mold smell as soon as you walk in was too much for me. It's not like it was just in one spot, it was the entire bowling alley! I'd recommend looking into some freshener or something.
This was the worst experience bowling I have had. The front desk staff was incredibly rude. My wife even asked them if they were annoyed that we wanted to bowl. I understand that leagues were going to start an hour after we started, and that the lanes were going to get conditioned, but that is not my problem. An hour is more than enough time for a family our size to bowl two games. I highly recommend going anywhere else to bowl.
The experience was great!! The place clean and well maintained!! Could've had more bowls. The food was ok. I'm definitely going back!!
Came here with my son on a Sunday night. As I walked in I realized that it's an older establishment but dont let that deter you. The cashier was very helpful, a bit quiet but polite. Originally we were going to just get one lane but they don't have the automatic bumpers. They had plenty of rails that the kids use. Lanes have what look to be 24" flat screens over the ball return area and the Sunday games were on. The equipment functioned very well. I didn't call for service once, which I feel like happ
In comparison to the surrounding area's bowling alleys, this place is great. $18.50 will get you unlimited bowling and shoes on a Friday night until 1am. What I love about this place is that the food is good (try their bacon cheeseburger, is delicious), the place is clean, and you can go in on a Friday night for cosmic bowling and it isn't crowded. After leagues finish up on Friday nights around 9:45, the place empties out and you never have to wait. Compared to Dale City Bowling, which has terrible cosmic
Had a nice date with a pretty lady. We enjoyed ourselves. I won both tines. Yeah, I beat her. So what. She wanted another date with me.
Old man in gray shirt was extremely rude. Absolutely embarrassing for this location with total lack of manners. Please do not allow him to interact with customers or in any way in service since he clearly does not like people
It is a regular bowling place. Staff us friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. They have a gaming area and a separate banquet area (where they can host parties) our kids had a great time and we did too.
Has a great vibe and music :) good for the family! Great food, (recommend the funnel cake), however, need more chicken strips on the platter!! Overall, pretty fun !
Very nice staff, the manager is funny :) Lanes are oiled nicely. Food and drinks are tasty. Great youth league with coachs.
I came to the bowling alley with my childhood friends and mind you our children. I always celebrate diversity unfortunately this bowling alley staff did not. After purchasing nearly $220 worth of food for a party of about 20 I was approached by an older man with a retired marine hat he asked me what were my intentions here. I was bewildered as I respect my fellow marines ...my best friends dad was a retired gunnery seargent. I directed the employee to my husband as I felt uncomfortable with his tone towards
We had fun here at a children's birthday party. It isn't particularly clean or bright, but the alley lanes seem really well kept and the staff, during my brief visit, were friendly and attentive.
This was a terrible place to visit. The people were not friendly at all. Plus, the space was old and outdated. The machine that had kept our score keep breaking and when we asked for an assistance, we were met with an attitude. Did not enjoy my stay and definitely will never go here again.
A decent bowling alley, not updated or super modern - think CRT monitors without any animations, but definitely fun and they have a range of prices depending on the night you decide to go. Never purchased food or drinks there, but they are available. They have an office/ship where it seems they can drill the bowling balls for you if you bring in your own, so that is a bonus. It can get busy, but we've never had to wait for a lane. Definitely worth the visit if you're looking for an activity nearby.
One of the few great bowling alleys left. The rest are trying to become nightclubs and rude customer service for some reason, this one is for families and for bowlers. This is how bowling has been and will always be. Recommend this location more than any other in the entire region.
Comes in at 11:30, ? how many games are you trying to play?? - the attendant ?4 for 2 people? - me ?We are trying to close at midnight, so would you mind only playing 1 game each? - the attendant They close at 2 am but can't let me get an extra game so they can close two hours early! I don't make reviews ever but this place obviously doesn't want business
Facility is clean and has a wide selection of food. But computers frequently did not register thrown balls or knocked down pins, so we had to do a lot of score corrections.
Not that great. I went with 3 friends and when we bowled, the score board wasn't aligned with the bowling turns. For example, during my turn, I my first hit would be using whatever pins that was left of whoever went before me and my second turn I would hit a full set of pins and it resets and aligns every time someone made a strike or spare. Also, the technolody is pretty dated. And the game doesn't stop itself; it adds another player. Despite this, we still had a blast and the staff was helpful. 2 stars.
Bowlero will be the end of league bowling. They do not staff fully during morning leagues. They still have the same equipment but no one at the desk to tell when something breaks down. Update: 1/18/22 - Here we sit at 9:40 am. Our league supposed to start at 9:30 and there is no bowlero employee in sight to start the league. At least they staffed a snack bar person this time.
My five-year-old granddaughter loves to "bowl". This place is very kid-friendly during afternoon hours when it's convenient to take her. While it is an older facility, it is well maintained.
No AC. Would have left a higher rating if it had just happened but was told it's a on going problem for awhile.
was nice getting out would have been better if everyone wore their mask properly, how could you not wear one if you where pregnant is beyond me, staff was really great wish all the people their listened to them
Floors are always dirty, so your shoes can get food on the bottom.
The staff was friendly and very helpful when we had a malfunction in our lane. They put the bumpers up for my son. Bowl America offers a summer pass for kids to bowl free and has the ramps for younger kids to use.
Everyone that works here was absolutely amazing. They made our experience wonderful. We will definitely be back!
i like to bowl at this place after 9pm mon-thurs due to the $7 all you can bowl until 12am. only complaint is that there are always issues like bars not coming up or balls are not returning or pins getting knocked down by the bar lol. I guess that's what I get for the cheap price coz when it's league time (6pm wkdays) I noticed nothing ever goes wrong. the foods here is always great though! must try the amazing mozzarella sticks and the fried shrooms! and fries and chiken tenders, its overr
Her name is Mona i never seen this kind of service how rude and disrespectful this lady was she think that i cant speak english? Too bad she also started raising her voice at me when my son asked me what lane we were going in she thinks her customer cares about her day dont go to that place when shes working cause she even took place and said she was the manager and then a couple seconds later shes apparently not even the manager
Took about 70 students over to bowl and they were excellent. They gave us a discount because they were students, they were extremely accommodating and friendly, and the service was great. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Great customer service.. there were a lot of us..and they 3 working the front got us right..????and the food wasn't bad..annnd they serve brewski..????
Great place to have fun,and find a laneeven when really busy. Only issue I had was finding a ball that fit my fingers and wasn't beat to hell
Just wish they would not do so much bowling in the dark. Friendly Staff. Easy location to get in and out of.
Took our family of 4 to Bowl America in Woodbridge today and was greeted by Mary, a woman who didn't seem too happy that we wanted a lane on a league night. We hadn't been here before, and drove 45 minutes from Stafford to get there. It's President's day, so traffic was a little more congested than usual. Anyway, when we got to the counter, I said 'hi, could we please get a lane?" Mary sighed, rolled her eyes, and started looking at her monitor. "It's a league night tonight", she said. "Our guy is going to
This is a great place! My fianc? and I got here at 1130 and the manager was kind enough to let us bowl two games. Great customer service and a great environment. Absolutely recommend!!!!
I was there Friday night! The Girl was just rude for no reason! I was even tryna make her laugh but she just wanted to be rude! Never again will I bowl at this Dusty Bowling Alley!
Center is being updated and is looking more modern. Can't wait to see the final results. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I love the style, but the decor is a bit dated about 30 years. The carpet looks a bit old. The pizza was delicious.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
