We take our son bowling here for a homeschool class. Very friendly staff. Reasonable pricing and overall a good time.

Candlestick bowling at its finest. The Maine tradition is alive and well here. Great way to spend a rainy afternoon with the kids or fun night out with your friends. Way more fun than the regular big ball experience. And you get three rolls.

I really wish I could have given 5 stars because I love this place, have been going here my whole life, but on NYE I took my husband and son there to have some bowling fun and the owner, who has also been there forever is just so rude. It was EXTREMELY clear he only really cares about the leagues and I'm sure with smittys up the road, that's where most of their money comes from but still. We walk in and he ins snappy saying he'll be with us in a minute, as if we had been non stop bugging him or something.

We were there on a Friday night at 4:30. Dont know if he was the manager or an employee, but the guy at the front desk and also helped us at the bar was awesome. So friendly and willing to help us with whatever we needed. Great service, thank you!!

Took our 5 yr old granddaughter for her first candlepin bowling excursion. She bowled two strings on her own w/o bumpers and bowled 46 and 52 which seemed pretty good considering she needed both hands to handle the balls. Bowl-a-rama was clean and modern and the staff was very friendly.

How people are giving good reviews is baffling to me. I've been a few times and the owner has been a major douche to me for no reason. Gave him our shoe sizes, gives me and my son a size to big for both of us, then when I ask politely for a different size he acted like I was the one who messed up. Can't quite figure out his attitude but would never recommend to anyone. Also felt like I was being watched by him constantly when I wasn't doing anything wrong. Gives off some strange creepy Joe Biden vibes.

Everything you'd want from a bowling center and more. Clean, friendly staff, and an overall great experience. The carpet on the walls and masking units is a great touch. Everything looks like it's been well maintained. Thanks again for a good time. Can't recommend enough.

Prices are good and the staff are so friendly! We had a great time bowling and playing in the arcade. Mr. Will was kind and patient while my son picked out a prize. Highly recommend!

I always have a great time here! The staff is very friendly & accommodating. I think that some of these other reviews about coffee "incidents" are definitely over-exaggerated. Think about it for a second...bowling alleys & liquids just don't mix. It's pretty simple to comprehend. Anyway, don't let those reviews keep you away from here, it's a great, fun place!

This is the perfect place to enjoy some family fun even if you need the help of bumper bowling! It's also a great place to go on a date! There is a full bar and bar food are available! The owners and son are there to help you do your best. OH WHAT FUN WE HAVE!!!! The coffee cups team!

Great place, great music, staff are amazing, clean restrooms, fun arcade games, candlepin bowling, really cool glow lights bowling, bumper guards if needed for the kiddos and the food was phenonminal!

We love bringing the kids here. What puts this place over the top is the customer service! I dropped my wallet on a recent trip. They found me on facebook and sent me a message about my wallet before I even realized it was gone. All my cash and cards were there. We will definitely be coming back.

It was not too busy which was awesome, and they have good prices. It was roughly $50 for shoe rentals and 4 people to play 3 games! Not too bad at all! Will definitely be going back since it's not over crowded!

It was a hot day above 90 and they had no air conditioning on, and no fans. Not a lot of people in there so cant make any excuses. But I felt like management didnt really care much about it

I moved down here recently and have been looking everywhere for candle pin bowling. This was one of two I could find within 20-35 minutes drive. This place rocks. Owen and sandra are fantastic. They work so hard and are so kind. Great bowling, wonderful prices and a good arcade when its able to open up again. They've got lots of food choices as well. This place is perfect if you're looking for fun and relaxation . A must for anyone looking to bowl.

This place is wonderful the staff if friendly and they offer a really great experience. We have taken a large group here twice now, and everyone had a blast. Candlepin bowling is challenging, but we were just having fun. One of the best activities is Sanford.

First of all,T the shoesguy was alone for a little bit and he was not happy at all. He gave my son a hard time for asking for a cup of ice for the drink he just bought. On top of the attitude, the shoes are so slippery your afraid to get low cause you might do the splits. I got a coupon from Maine's best deals for 20 dollars and it wasn't worth it. We will not be going back

Walked in on a Sunday with a party of 8 to a dead bowling alley. Rob ably a total of a dozen other people in the place and the bearded guy running the place gives me a hard time because I bought a coffee next door at the circle K. I offer to pay full price to buy one of his cups to pour the coffee in and he still insists on taking my coffee away. That's fine but it will be the last time I bring a group to this place. Very poor customer service.

Cozy place. No token deals to figure out. Small arcade so I can always see my kids. No inappropriate games and they have good payouts. My kids liked the prize counter - not the same old prizes as everywhere else - and helpful staff. It's a half hour from us but we'll probably go back!

Weird experience here. I was attending a company event. The owner would not allow me to bring in my child's lunch or my personal water bottle. I understand about the lunch because they have serve their own unhealthy fried foods. However, he insisted that I bring everything back out to my car after I had already changed shoes. My fries took 45 minutes to make. My company had reserved 3 lanes for 3 hours but they allowed another group to take over one lane after just 2 hours. Was this treatment because

What I can say about Bowl-A-Rama is that this place rocks! It is a fun place to play in an area that doesn't have much of the fun places. Computer games and smartphone app games don't have the energy and fun compared to a place like Bowl-A-Rama. Yes, candlepin bowling is a variation in this certain northeastern neck of the woods but I think it's one of those things that makes our area cool! It's sure worth putting down my phone for. Took my 5 year old grandson there so he could play some games in the arcade.. We were the only ones in there I asked the owner if he could turn the power on in the arcade and he said no. That's the second time he's done that to me while I was there with one of my grandkids. I'll never go there again.

Candle pin bowling was new to us. Had the best time. Three hours went by in a flash. Also noticed young kids who couldn't even hold a normal bowling ball having a great time. Should mention staff was very helpful and friendly.

A great family friendly bowling alley. They offer men's leaugues, women's leagues, couples leauges, youth leagues. They have a bar and snacks. They have a nice arcade area with the newest games and the classics. The priceless are more than reasonable. Highly recommended.

We all enjoy bowling here. The alley is well cared for. There are some arcade games and a pool table available. You can dine simply and they have soda and beer on site.
