This arcade is awesome! $15 and play until you drop! There is a game for everyone and every generation. It's well laid out, and easy to navigate. You'll have a lot of fun strolling down memory lane with vintage gaming, and some of today?s newer stuff!
I had a fun time at local's there today, the atmosphere and vibe is practically amazing and I've met plenty of people there! Most of the tournaments are fun to join in, along with playing some of the games out front. If I had to describe the atmosphere?it is gentle despite being a fierce competitive event. Excellent venue with plenty of food nearby. Thanks for the excellent service.
We saw this place a couple weeks ago when we were at the mall, but we didn't have much time, so we thought we would check it out later. So my son and I went last night and had a great time. It's really a fantastic deal. They charge you one entry fee for unlimited games. The machines seem to be pretty well maintained. The last couple of video game places we have gone to have had a lot of problems with the machines. (And the few that didn't seem to work, it wasn't a big deal because we weren't losing money)
Wow! Such a great experience. We had my son's 10th birthday party here. We were able to rent it our for 2 hours prior to general opening for our party. The amount and variety of games were a blast for kids and adults! The back party room has a great vibe with fun murals on the wall. The staff was so friendly and helpful. And it's a great price compared to so many of the regular birthday party spots. Highly recommend! I've also been with my kids for a regular afternoon and it is a great inexpensive way to sp
Drove 2 hours to visit for a street fighter tournament and had a great time! Soooooo many games! From arcade classics to hard-to-find imports and everything in-between. All extremely well maintained as well. Arcades this good are hard to find, and this one was well worth the trip.
I enjoyed my time at Boss Battle Games. It's been a while since I've been to an arcade. This took me back to the old days as a kid. There were many classic games to be played and BBG uses an easy and valuable option to pay a flat fee, get a wristband, and play all day long. There's a good mix of games, and even console games are set up on TVs to play some old classics. There's a good variety of pinball machines; unlimited play is also included for these machines. The winner of the arcade for me and my
My fianc? and I walked in and the gentleman sitting at the counter was instantly very welcoming and super excited about hyping up the arcade. They seem to really love getting new people in! He let us walk around the arcade to see what kind of games they have and we looked at their small stock of resold stuff. We will definitely go back sometime with the $10 admission being super reasonable!
I saw Boss Battle Games game rentals at WHO?s Yer Con this weekend. They had a good selection of games there that were all well maintained and clean. They had a few racing games, fighting games, DDR, a classic multicade, and my personal favorite the 6player X-Men. Even when one of the machines went down their techs were quick to get it back up and running on site so people could enjoy it for the remainder of the convention. If you want to rent arcade machines for your wedding, convention, or any other speci
Was on a vacation in Indianapolis, bored out of my mind. I discovered this place at the mall, and felt like I had discovered solid gold hidden between veins of coal. Amazing admission system, and incredible selection for playing with friends. Authentic CRTs for old games really completed the experience.
I can't say enough good things about this arcade! Staff is always friendly. Plenty of games for all ages and only $15 bucks to play as much as you want! Perfect place to be if you need to have some fun and enjoy a lil nostalgia.
Fantastic collection of old and newer arcade cabinets, meticulously cared for. Beautiful pinball tables. Inviting and knowledgeable staff. Loved sharing time with my 8 year old at a mall arcade like I did as a kid. Kind of felt guilty only paying $10 per person for unlimited play all day.
Fairly pricey but they have an excellent selection of games that are covered by the door charge. I definitely recommend it for a place to game on older machines for a few hours for the price!
Fun and inexpensive. Newer games along with the vintage boy boys from the 80's and 90's. Plus they sell old Gen consoles. Made me seem like a really cool dad
I go for the pinball. So glad they are bringing in new Stern IC tables and have a decent selection of good, but older machines to play. The flat-rate pricing for all-you-can-play is a fantastic deal.
I unfortunately didn't take more pics, but they had all my favorite retros. Only $15 bucks and you have unlimited entry and games the ENTIRE DAY! I don't game like that anymore, but going to one arcade bar once, it was similar, but all pinball and bigger racing games costed additional? so this is a steal if you want to play pinball or anything else. No alcohol though since it's in the mall haha They had not just arcade games, but also console. Pokemon Stadium on N64, monkey ball, they had some sega genesi
Best arcade I have visited in Indianapolis. Nice place for new and vintage arcade games. It has a fun family friendly atmosphere. The facility is clean. There is a wide range of games to choose from. I enjoyed that there were not kids running around unsupervised. I liked that no one stood behind me waiting for a game. It seemed everyone was very respectful of others while they were playing. There are enough games along with a wide variety of games for everyone. At the time I am writing this, you ca
Boss Battle Game is THE BEST. Their staff made my son's birthday so amazing. The cabinets work flawlessly! So much fun had by everyone. This is 2nd time back in a month and we will be back again in the future. This is heaven compared to "rat pizza" as they call it. We played Gauntlet Dark Ages to completion (something I have never done before).
15$ for all day is a nice selection of games with some Japanese machines with street fighter 2 turbo and other games. A wall with 8-10 Daytona 500 games linked together. Pin ball takes tokens you just have to ask and they give you a cup of them. The only downside is it's in the mall so it's pretty tight for space making it feel more packed than it really is. Never had to wait long to get on a machine. Kids under 13 or 15 have to be with a parent so it's not like a bunch of kids are in there running around l
This place is so super duper cool! Tons of older games and only $15 per person for the whole day!! I had so much fun!! (ik the pics/vids suck just work with them)
Such an awesome place. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and they have Dance Dance Revolution! Lots of arcade machines, some consoles, and even a selection of pre-owned previous gen games. My only hope is that they get some small fans around the DDR and Pump It Up stations someday. Otherwise, this place is definitely somewhere I'll be visiting more often when in the Castleton area.
A wonderful trip down memory lane! A classic arcade with unlimited free play! Exactly what I dreamed of as a child! Great place to bond and spend time with my son! Playing games old and new! 10 stars!
This place is incredible! They have a bunch of BEMANI rhythm games and it was awesome!! :D
Took my son here for the first time a few days ago. We had a great time. Spent all afternoon here, and even came back for an hour in the evening. Was so great introducing my son to the games I played at his age. We will definitely be back!
Had an awesome time here on my birthday! Loved the chill nature of the staff and will definitely be coming back often.
Boss battle games I had planned on and intended on sending an email or a text to boss battle games group today just saying trying to talk to boss battle today.Boss battle games is good. Moreover boss battle arcade is not my idea to visit you guys on the holiday my father in other words roommate suggested that we go to this place called boss battle games. However maybe there is a reason Joshua decided to have me visit this place maybe my father at the time was speaking to the staff through phone call. I gues
I beat my friends at racing because they don't know how to shift gears. And got a cool bracelet
On a weekday I did a Pay by the hour. ($7/per) Pretty fun?I ended up trying a lot of games I wouldn't have if it was pay per game. ^_^ Lots of retro games. Some solid rhythm games too.
I've been going to Boss Battles for years. The Arcade machines are always in great shape, and the people who work there are very friendly and welcoming. I've brought friends there, I've been to their events, and even had parties at their place of business and we all have a great time each time we go. Indianapolis NEEDS more fun spots like these, and it's in the middle of the city where anyone who's interested can get to. Doesn't cost a lot to have a great time. Plan your next big event a BBG TODAY! L E G
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE SUGGEST TO GO WITH ANOTHER PERSON, PAIR IS FUN WITH MOST GAMES. PINBALL MACHINES GALORE! CLEAN. AWESOME SELECTION
Absolutely incredible, all the way around. The staff are super chill and passionate about the games, the machines are all in good condition and clean, and there's such a good variety too. $15 for a full day of fun is unbeatable too, and whenever I visit the area (I live many hundreds of miles away now lol), I always make sure I come back for more. 10/10, highly reccomend!
Solid modern arcade. Small but they make use of the space. Good selection of fighting games. SF2,3,4 marvel 2 DOA and more. All machines I played were in good shape all buttons working.
Great value for your money! You pay $10 for a wristband that let's you play for the entire day, unlimited. However, it's crowded on a weekend, so be prepared to be in close contact with others! They have shooter games, rhythm games, driving games, classic arcade games etc. I mostly played the DDR machine and Jubeats! FYI they have the Initial D driving game there as well as Guitar Hero.
The best place to enjoy old and new classic arcade videogames even pinball ?? I even have great experience and stayed there for hours until they had to close ?? Worth It??
My 7 year old son and I spent nearly four hours here today. So much fun! We only left due to exhaustion from playing all the driving and shooting games. A great collection of arcade gems from the golden era, and a good amount of more modern favorites. Dad had to show Son that mercy is for the weak at all the 90s fighting games. FINISH HIM!
Such a cool experience. I grew up in arcades so having the opportunity to share an experience like this is awesome. So many awesome games and pin ball DOESN'T COST EXTRA! ?
Cool idea. It's a fun place to hit a couple times a year.
We were there for an after hours event that was a total blast. So many games from so many gaming periods and genres. An entire row of Daytona racing games that my kid absolutely loved playing and my spouse and I played Tekken and DDR like we were back in again. So much fun! Hand sanitizer pumps placed throughout the store made fighting germs super easy and convenient. Attendant was very quiet and unassuming, but still kind and helpful when needed. It was so great to get out somewhere for a change and it wa
The Pinball playfields look like they've never been cleaned and the timed plunger paired with no ball save was extremely annoying. Sure, it's free play, but any player knows how ruthless pinball can be and having an immediate drain after a plunge and that being the ball is not a good setup. I won't be back. Everything worked on the tables I played though, thankfully,
Absolutely loved this place. Dani was awesome. This arcade features everything you love and some rare stuff. My daughters and I plan to head back soon and often. Great place for kids and families. Special thanks to Dani! Super awesome job!
This is a living arcade museum! If you are an old school arcade enthusiast this is the place, you will find the most iconic arcade machines produces
My family spent a Saturday at Boss Battle Games and had the best time!! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The $15 pass is such a great value for all the games they have available. We highly recommend this experience!
Great deal pay $10 and play all you want. A lot of fun classic games as well as systems to play on. My daughter and I had a blast on the Daytona racing game in the back racing 8 people at once. Definitely recommend and I will definitely be back!!
Took my 6 year old daughter to see what gaming in an arcade was like for me as a child. Best $20 ($10/each) I think I've ever spent. Unlimited games for the whole day, and we were able to take breaks and come back as we pleased. Beating TMNT with my daughter is a priceless experience to share with her. Fantastic selection of games, and owners were extremely friendly.
The fact that it's only $10.00 feels like you're taking advantage of the business. If you have a love for both arcades and gaming, you'll feel right at home. We're talking well maintained games, calibrated light guns, modern LCD upgrades for classic cabinets, CRTs for retro consoles, and so much more. Any negatives would be nit-picking and not worth listing. Take your friends, take your partner, take your kids. Finally conquer the game that robbed you as a child without draining your bank account. 5 st
Hey Googlers, if you happen to be in the Indianapolis area and you're a fan of 80s and 90s arcade games, there is a sweet Place full of all of your favorite games from back in the day. Check out our photographs and videos for a tour of this locally owned gem..... It's super reasonably priced, and check for a Groupon because they have them pretty often. 60 + games, all from the era of big consoles including Pac-Man, karate champ, Tron, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, f355 challenge rally,, Talega, wizard of w
Super awesome place. 10 bucks and you're good all day. Amazing value had a lot of fun.
My kid had their 10th birthday party here and it was incredibly fun. The party space was MUCH larger than we expected - and there's several game consoles in the party room so the guests can escape the excitement of the main arcade for a bit. Everyone really enjoyed the event, and the staff was simply fantastic. The rest of my family has been before but it was my first time, and I had so much fun. We will be back!!
Fun place in Castleton mall. $15, play all the games you want.
This place absolutely rules. This is one of the best video game locations Indianapolis has to offer. Patrick up front is always kind. The games are always clean and working. They don't run it like a ticket Rip off. It's just a flat low price and you can play every game for as long as you want. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
$10 for all you can play! Classic games I grew up with and very well maintained
This place is amazing, great fun and an incredible value. Love the addition of console games for that nostalgia hit.
Highly recommend for larger groups. The private room that is available is comfortable, quiet, and has its own selection of games for your guests to play. The arcade itself has everything that you could ever wish for, and more. There are a number of games you can play as a group, up to 8 people in one game. It was fun to add a little competition into our team-building. Shout out to Dalton for providing excellent customer service throughout our time.
What a fun place! Lots of games to play to only $10 a person. Also, love the signs up front...may be asked to leave if crying.
First time in Indy and am staying near by the mall in Castleton. Saw this place and went to give it a try. The guy at the front was cool and let me check things out before I paid the admission fee. Walked around and was flooded with nostalgia. I really hope the community supports this place because there aren't too many spots like this anymore. And for only $15 to play as much as you can handle? Sign me up.
$15 for unlimited play with a great selection of games is totally worth it!
Went there for the first time and I loved it! It was a blast, had a really impressive selection of arcade games, even the more rarer ones like Carn Evil that I never would expect to play at an actual arcade. The Pin Balls were fun, and the guy at the counter was super nice!
I did not go in but you can clearly tell from the front entrance how nice the place is. It's cool inside and there are a lot of options here they have classic games for sale at the entrance as well. Just be warned it is loud in there but it's what a classic arcade sounds like. Nice job to the owners here.
Absolutely one of the best spots to visit in Indy! If you grew up in the 90s when Arcades were all over and want a chance to recapture your childhood without the need of quarters then this is the place to be. Also if your part of the furry community in Indy then they actually let you wear your fursuit in the arcade and host monthly meets. It's my home away from home!
One of the best free play arcades I have been to. Even the pinball is included. They really seem to care about their patrons. Machines are very well maintained and the manager is friendly and engaging, will definitely be back!
Lots of fun, lots of games new and old, great deal. Highly recommended!
I've been going to BBG since they were in Washington Square Mall. While I've not been in some time, I took my 10 year old daughter to BBG yesterday and we had such a great time. It's like going back in time 20 years when you would go to the arcade with a pocket full of quarters. This is going to be something we do a lot more often.
This arcade is so great! Highly recommended to anyone in the area or stopping through. Very convenient to be located in the mall, tons of game options, wristband makes it easy to leave for a food or snack and come back! Also cute design and decor. We came here from Cincinnati specifically for this arcade and we were so happy we did. We will definitely have to come back, absolutely worth it!
Staff is always friendly, and I love the newer rhythm games they have!
Genuinely super fun! The atmosphere is great with lower lighting and noise to keep it from being too overwhelming for those with sensory issues. It's $15 for a full day and all the machines are set to free play which is RARE to find an affordable arcade.
Patrick is an amazing employee and made a great arcade visit even better. He was friendly and attentive, all the machines worked great other than one that's out of order, which for an old school arcade is very impressive. They have a great selection of free play games and a fun selection of pay per play pinball. Highly recommend
Great arcade. 15 dollars free play for the whole day is a great deal for all the games they have. I love racing games especially the Initial D ones and they have 2 versions. Plus the F Zero games which are hard to find. I wish they were open later but I understand that's probably due to the malls rules. Overall great value. Great game selection.
We went here for my son?s birthday last week and had a great time! It is such a deal that we were able to pay only $30 and spend all day here playing. I loved the collection of pin ball machines and fell in love with a new game that I could play for a long time. Also nice that my husband and I could step out and sit down while our son played, then go back in with our wristbands. Highly recommend for any fan of video games!
What a fun experience. I was there for 2 hours in total. I could have stayed longer if they had different variety of games. I spent most of my time at the older games area near the middle. I played some multiple times. The game variety was my only lacking area and honestly that was so miniscule for the price point and how long I could have stayed there if I had wanted. If I am back in Indy again, I would definitely go here. Worth the time.
Threw my daughter's birthday party here. The team was great and the kids had a wonderful time. The party room was spacious, so the kids got to run around, dance, and have a good time with each other outside of the games as well. The party was reasonably priced, and so is the arcade even outside of parties. Would definitely recommend.
The amount of arcade games here is absolutely amazing and the people there are very courteous and just great people to talk to. As far as the tournament goes it was amazing and very hype inducing!! I can't wait for Boss Battle Games host again!!
This place rules! As much arcade fun as you want for a $15 entrance fee. I thought I was just gonna spend $20 bucks across a few plays, but I got to play games from across the past 3 decades. This place is absolutely amazing.
YEAH! Classic Arcade Games, ALL THE FAVORITES! ** $10 gets you 8 HOURS OF UNLIMITED PLAY..... AND YOU CAN LEAVE, AND COME BACK ALL DAY!!!!
Boss Battle Games is a hidden gem! Our kids had such a great time playing there?as did the parents and grandparents. I was blown away at the price for a pass to play all day. Only $10! The variety of games was impressive. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. This place will be at the top of our rainy day places to go with the kids.
Hosted a birthday party there last night and couldn't be happier! Just the nicest people and accommodated our last minute time change.
Gamers of all ages enjoyed my son?s 13th birthday party! What an awesome place! Amazing customer service. Private room for parties. Overall fun and exciting atmosphere!
$15pp, but if you play long enough totally worth it. All the classics, all the FPS, all the MK, all you can play. Awesome time with my nephew. Customer tip: If you have a young kid, bring a collapsible stool for them to stand on, makes it much more fun for them!!
Very cool place. They take $10 per person for unlimited play. For pinball, you need free tokens, but they're free so it's not a problem at all. A very smart business idea too. So yeah, a cool place overall. Go there if you haven't.
Awesome place, great nostalgia. Will definitely come back soon!
If you enjoy nostalgic video games and pinball for a great price, this is the place for you! It was $15 per person for unlimited play and you can come and go as needed. We had a great time! The staff was great too!
I took my family to this arcade today for the first time. We drove 100 miles to come see it and we were not let down! Definitely has the feel of a old school arcade that I grew up with and loved but does it take the amount of money to play games that I used to pay. For $10 you can get it all day pass and that is a great deal. Not only do they have all the classic games that I grew up loving, they have a ton of new games for modern-day age. My sister and I laughed because we spent a lot of time playing the M
Lots of variety: pinball, shooters, racers, classics, and more. My faves were Time Crisis 3 and the 8 person competitive Daytona 500 simulator. Worth the $15 entry.
Had my teen son's birthday here (partly). The employees were attentive, and there was something for everyone. With their rewards program, the per-kid admission was reduced with some free visits for the future. Pinball enthusiasts will be treated to some pretty rare units. My wife and younger daughter spent a long time in this really unique horror game pod-for-2. They have maximized the utility-the density of options--of the space while keeping it navigable for a stroller and fun to browse. As the most anti-
We loved renting the party room at Boss Battle Games. Our guests had a wonderful time! The space was huge for our group and we loved having access to the whole arcade plus the private games in the party room too!
We really liked it! Only 4 stars because of the giant floor fans circulating the air. I know they need to do that, but i hate fans. Bring your family and friends! Seriously, $15 and play all day. Pinball, retro games, nintendo 64, multiplayer racing or shooters, just so many! The staff was very cool, so helpful. Somedays there is a discount, like tuesday 2 can play for $15. I will go back. As for the mall, well, i would not go after dark. I hope they get hydro thunder soon! I loved the Mandalorian pinball a
Saw the advetisement outside, and met a really chill employee. Super worth the price of admission considering the fact that there are a wild selection of shooters & pin all machines. This was also the first ever time I've seen an actual local smash tourney; I'm down to participate & help out! Soooo worth it, will be back next week with friends. Can't wait to see more!
As a kid who grew up in the heyday of arcades in the 1990s, this is the best representation of cabinets I've seen in 15-20 years. They have taken great care of these games and have replaced monitors and buttons and joysticks and kept these machines working for people to play. There is an amazing selection and the staff is easy to talk with. They have all the hits from the 80s and 90s as well as some more modern machines. What a great way to spend $10!
I have been to many arcades over the years and this is one of the best American arcades that I have been to. There is a good mix of new and old games. Think of how Chuck-E-Cheese was in the 80s and early 90s before the focus changed to small children. There is a good atmosphere. It's not too loud, and has appropriate lighting. The machines are well maintained and appear to be as brand new in most cases. Although they have many more games than the other arcades that have been in Castleton mall over the
I love this place! There is no other arcade around like it. My weakness is pinball games and they have a lot of them. My husband loves Joust and some of the car racing ones. Highly recommend!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.
