Went here for the first time with family while on vacation. It was a great time. We did mini golf and didn't have to really wait to pay and get on the course. It was great weather and the course was clean and most of the other families were spaced out enough where we didn't feel rushed. I really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend checking out the mini golf and the arcade inside.
Went here for my son?s 13th birthday. We didn't do the birthday package but we did the BOGO birthday pass and he brought 1 friend. It was $40 for a 4 hour pass. Great place for teens! We also got the pizza $25 pizza deal that came with a $20 arcade card, so essentially the large pizza was $5 and it was good!
Pretty nice place! Everything is nice and updated. The lanes were good but the balls had sharp edges which made it uncomfortable to play. The shoes also are a half size small. We were going to play mini golf but they said we couldn't because there was lightning?.even though there wasn't
I had an AMAZING experience yesterday! Like it was fantastic! All of the employees were wonderful especially Kristyn and Faith!! It was my first and definitely not my last time coming to Boondocks. I went with all my friends and Kristyn and Faith made the experience A MILLION times better! They happily answered all my questions, and thanked me for coming in! I 1000% recommend coming to Boondocks!
I had an amazing experience last night and was helped by the most upbeat, hardworking girl, Faith. She definitely needs to get promoted or something. she ran the whole counter, led her team to do several tasks and even had time to engage in conversation with me and my family. Excellent worker makes everyone happy around her. we had so much fun.
We haven't been to Boondocks since it was remodeled. We love the changes. It's very clean and up to date. The atmosphere was fun and exciting. We loved the ropes course. Of course we also loved the laser tag, 3D ride, bowling, go karts and mini golf too! The 4 hour pass is perfect to have time to do everything.
I've come here at least once per year for the last 6 or 7 years, and for what I've noticed, it hasn't aged at all. Their arcades are actually playable and in great conditions. Their bowling alley is pretty solid. Their go carts are definitely not comparable to a cart specific place, but they're in solid conditions and their track is pretty fun. Their mini golf is actually up kept really well. There's one hole under the water fall that smells like mold and there's a bunch of bugs, but you can just skip that
We had a great birthday party here for a group of 12 year olds. Lots to do. We checked in at the birthday/events booth and they gave us Boondocks card passes to get into all of the attractions. But then at the go carts, the worker told us that we also needed wrist bands, after we had waited in line for a long time. So there is a bit of a disconnect between the events team and the ride operators. But we were able to get it worked out. Boondocks called me in advance of the party to confirm the details and rem
I come here a lot. My daughter has had at minimum, 3 birthday celebrations here. Naturally, I was very excited for the renovation and so far, it has been an amazing experience. I like that they have an actual full bar. Anthony is an incredible bartender and I'm always looking forward to seeing him. He makes up for the less experienced ones.
They just did a massive renovation! Looks awesome. Not stuck in the 90s any more! Prices have increased. They added a bar, bowling alley, ropes course and updated their dining area. Go karts go an average of 14 mph. About 5 minutes of racing. They cars are updates and decent. It's fun. But a bit expensive.
Boondocks has grown up! As a native, I would go to Boondocks for school events and weekend birthday parties. They have renovated and really done well with the new facility. They also have a nice bowling alley. It's a great entertainment center and a great place to take the family.
What a great place. Had so much fun with my fianc?, we only played mini golf but we had a blast! All of the other things looked so much fun too, we just didn't have the time today but we will be back! Wil is a fantastic manager and promptly addressed our only concern.
Great fun family place . Bowling, Arcade, laser tag , plus much more. I had a fun filled day . Staff is very Professional and friendly. Building was clean comfortable. I highly recommend for a fun family day out .
Pretty fun place they have made some updates and cleaned it up a lot. You can do a 4 hour pass for $40.00 not a bad price but if like us you have family of 5 it is pricey. Go carts like other places are really weak. I get it safety and all but they are so turned down that it is boring and you really can't pass anyone
A lot of fun activities for people of all ages. You can easily spend a whole day and leave satisfied. The bowling alley is very nice. No disappointments throughout the whole park. Staff does very well at keeping patrons safe by enforcing regulations. Food at the grill was good, but overpriced.
We went to Boondocks for my daughter's birthday. She wanted to ride go carts. We bought the unlimited pass. Bowling seemed to be not working very well. No one working that part of the counter. Lots of managers and other walking into the office right there but not acknowledging us standing there wondering how to even start bowling. Once we figured it out started bowling. Mid game daughter got a bloody nose. Her and I walked away to bathroom to solve that. While we were gone they turned our game off even thou
Very friendly staff! Great variety of things to do! I came here with my family to celebrate June birthdays and I had a blast!! Lots of fun activities and very family friendly environment! Extremely disappointed in the sign on the door saying no beverages!!! I really wanted to bring my Powerade in there so I could stay hydrated!!! The drink options are not the best!!! I was really wanting a drink with a lot of electrolytes!!! It was 95 degrees outside, I am a woman in my 30s and I was on my period!!! I got h
Clean, friendly and exciting place to spend the day. I don't know if I've ever seen a public restroom as clean as this one is! Mini golf courses were challenging and exciting! Bowling was a blast! Gluten free pizza was delicious, too! Employees were attentive and customer service was top notch. We'll definitely be back!
Really enjoyed my time here as well as the kids. The food was very good and fresh. The only complaint i would have is the wait times. Maybe they were short staffed, and that explains the wait times. My kids didn't even get a chance to redeem their tickets. Also, I really love the renovations done and the cleanliness of the entire place. 5 stars if we didn't have to wait so much.
we had so much fun! 4 years later update?. Still love this place. Improvement is amazing since it became employee owned. So many great improvements. My teens had fun.
They have remodeled the draper location, and it looks amazing! I do think the pricing is still a little too high for how long you have to wait to do any activity. Especially when you can spend an additional 50 and go to lagoon. Other than that I think its a fun place to go to every now and then.
Great experience. 4 hours of nonstop fun for $50 is an incredible deal. Very roomy location and tons to do for everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Took our son here for his birthday and had a blast. We all enjoyed the activities together as a family. The staff was friendly & helpful for info needed on the rides. We will definitely come back.
I took my 8 yr old and she loved everything! We had pizza from the restaurant and it was good. As for the arcade, they had lots of $1 games, but the virtual reality one was $5, so $20 will last about 10 minutes in the arcade. For all the rides she loved them. Laser tag let's about 16 people in at a Time so as an adult I wouldn't have too much fun because I couldn't hide without 5 people in the same area, but my daughter loved it. Outside they had a racetrack for younger kids which was a good first experienc
Fun place!!! My kids had a great time. Thursday is the day to go with$10 off!!! We will be back!
Always a good time at this golf course! We even got a hole in one by ricocheting through the cave hole and landing in the water
Update for a most recent visit! They've done a huge remodel and it looks amazing. Prices increased slightly. There's also now a restaurant in the facility. We absolutely loved our visit! The mini golf courses are so fun and long! The go-carts and water blast games are outdoors and were a blast. We also did the vr shooter and I loooved it. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend. There's also laser tag but we ran out of time. Also a fairly large arcade and snack station.
We had my niece birthday party here for the first time and last time for me. The food was ok it was on the expensive side. The games are okay, nothing special about their games. Overall, it's just okay. Staff that helped out doing our event were okay but also in a hurry to kick us out. In my opinion, the only good thing about here were their go carts, employees outside on the cart were great help some of us never in their life on a cart. ;-)
Super fun place to take the kiddos or just on a date. Several options of fun with little to no wait. We will definitely be back again. The 3D ride was so fun!!
Super fun place to take the family. It was a bit pricey but the kids loved everything there. They have two go cart tracks, one for smaller kids, the other for taller kids and adults. The bumper boats were closed during winter but that's to be expected. There are two mini golf courses you can go on which is nice so if you're playing on one path another group can play on the other without over crowding. The hole count was decent too, like 18 or something on each path. I thought the dark XD ride was a bit lame
The happiest place on Earth - or in Utah. Regardless, I adore all of the many activities and different forms of entertainment they have at Boondocks! And for once, an arcade/family-fun location that actually has GOOD food! I love their pizza and their burgers (what can I say, I'm a simple man), but I've heard good things about several other menu items as well. I strongly recommend Boondocks for any time you need something fun to do and can't decide on where to go! You will not regret a trip to Boondocks!
It was awesome, no matter the activity like laser tag or go karts the employees put energy and kindness into the visitors. Especially Xiri an operational attendant who was kind and respectful, getting to know each person who went through the rides gate someway. ??
This place was great! We went here for an event with the IBEW local 354 and couldn't have asked for a more fun time. I took my 3 kids (ages 12,10, and 6) and they had a blast. Laser tag, bowling, bumper boats, go karts, arcade games, mini golf and a giant rope course 20+ feet up it was awesome. The food was great and all the staff was super patient and accommodating. Shout out to Haley, she was a team lead and so nice and helpful she is really good at her job, the event was well staffed and they did a great
We love going to boondocks! It's got a good variety of activities, there's something for everyone in the family . - Putt Putt Golf - Go Carts - Laser Tag - Fun Arcade Games - Skee Ball- Axe Throwing - Coin Pushers - Claw Machines - Basketball 'four in a row' - Racing Games - 3d virtual rides - & So Much More... They have food & fun for all ages. Open late & weekends! We enjoy everything they have to offer for our entertainment needs. & We have Always walked out with a smile..Good family safe & fun environme
This place is a great place to spend time with the family. It features friendly staff, an indoor arcade with prizes, outdoor miniature golf, go-karts, a ropes course, some bowling lanes, laser tag, and an indoor restaurant; that features pizza and hamburgers. I love to bring my daughter here a few times per year and we always have a good time. The remodel is very nice as well.
A great place for family and company fun. We brought our company here and had about 50 people all playing mini golf?? They have so many holes that all feel very unique, creative, and also challenging. There is also a lizard at the end that breathes fire if you get a hole in one?? Inside, they have laser tag, arcade games, and food. Outside they have two different courses of mini golf, go-carts, and water boats where you can squirt other people. There is so much to do, we could come here dozens of times
Overall it was a fun experience. We started with the food since it was lunch time. We ordered and then went and waited. The onion rings came out within 6 minutes and we're hot and rather good. Then we waited. And waited. Others that ordered after us got their food. They were employees. Go figure. Then we got ours. The Philly cheese steak was good but the peppers would have been cooked longer. The chicken sandwich was hot and tasty. The hamburger was good. The boneless chicken was lukewarm at best so that wa
We took our older kids that are in the 20?s and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and thorough! They worked hard to be fast and efficient! Thanks for the fun!!
Spent 35 bucks per kid for the 4 hr pass and spent 1 hr of it waiting in line for the ropes course. They had 1 person working the ropes course on a Saturday night at 7 pm. He was very nice but why not have 2 attendants working harness area? A large 1 topping pizza was 24 bucks and the soda machine was broken the entire night.
I haven't been to boondocks for a couple of years actually, it has since been remodeled and really well done. The bowling was a fun addition, food and drinks weren't bad ok and decent price I get it. The only thing that was annoying was the price to play the games I have 3 kids and it was wild to see they were done with the 20 dollar credit in 5 mins from essentially 4 or 5 games. Heard many others complaining about the same thing
We were here about 5 years ago and the equipment is showing the wear and tear of years. The child's play area has been 100% removed so there's nothing for anyone less then 40 inches to do. The motor in two different bumper boats gave out on us and wouldn't restart. I had to be towed back in. The road racers go cart we were in putt-putted out of the pavilion and we had to be pushed. Then it lost speed on the inclines built into the track. When they slowed the cars down to bring them back into the pavilion, o
Fun, but a bit overpriced and a little dated. The arcade was small, the laser tag was good. My frustration is the way they only fill a few boats or a few cars even though there's long lines. But overall my family had a good time.
It was great we went there for one of our great grandsons Joel Jr's birthday party, it was fun great place to have a party
The arcade, VR ride, laser tag, bumper boats, go carts and mini golf course we're a blast! The kids loooooved it! We did a birthday party there. The host was nice but not great. I feel like they purposely kept us at the table for one out of the three hours we were there, so even though I paid for unlimited activities they only got to do everything once and very few things twice, which was very dissapointing! The arcade games are over $1.25 each so the arcade cards that came along with the party did not last
Had a lot of fun at a corporate event. There's lots to do for kids and adults so go and have fun.
The staff provided excellent service, and the venue offered a fun and enjoyable experience for families.
We had our family christmas party here. The Prime rib dinner was amazing, as well as the rest of the food. We did a 4 hour pass and $10 arcade card. There was something for all ages to do and be involved with.
Just the right amount of fun for the money! We keep a star chart for our kids- whereby we reward the kids with a star for going above and beyond their regular chores. At the end of each month we add them up and the winner gets a special outing. My middle son racked up the points and asked for a trip to Boondocks as his wish. As a born and raised Midwesterner I had no idea why he'd want to go to a Gas Station/Truckstop; but who was I to take his wish after he'd worked so hard for it. Turns out Boondock
It was great. My son and I went miniature golfing. Had a lot of fun. We went on Sunday which was the perfect time to go in my opinion ??
Lots of fun, even for adults. Wish they had a bowling ally like the one in kaysville. My kids liked the laser tag. I really liked the selection of toys. Some are cheap but most last awhile.
Literally the best food I have ever had in my life Get the Philly cheesesteak with fry sauce for the fries and the campfire cookie. Also the golf course here is incredible.
Awesome place for families staff is friendly location is clean lines are not very long. The go-karts are so much fun! Awesome laser tag, too many golf track courses, really there's so much to do!
Great variety of arcade games that are kid- and family-friendly. The pizza we ate was good, too. It was a fun experience overall and we wouldn't mind going again!
We had our family Union at Boondocks. Loved the rides they were fun, I found that I did not like writing on the go-karts as much as I used to when I was younger. Lots of exhaust in my face. A lot of teenagers that did not know how to drive. I'm sure teenagers love it my kids had a great time. Especially liked the laser tag. I think that was my favorite. They have an XD video that's pretty cool where you watch a movie and shoot things it's highly Interactive. Overall it was a good place to be. Especially if
The new updates are very nice looking but not very kids friendly. They changed their rules for riding the go carts and other attractions. Service was very hard to get and one of our guest that arrived a couple minutes late waited 30 minutes to order something and eventually went and found someone at the bar who was very helpful and juggled her job at the bar on top of it. She was great! One of our guest ordered nachos and a drink totalling around $20. Our opinion is the birthday parties are more for 12+
This place is pretty fun and the food is actually decent. I was pleasantly surprised. It lost a star for me because no one seems to know what's going on and several attractions/games were not working at the time.
Went there for the New Year?s Eve celebration. It was as clean as it gets, which is very clean. The pizza was good as well. The remodel is also very nice. The only complaint I have is the old boondocks mascot is not there anymore, though that's just pure nostalgia, also, I got destroyed in bowling, though I think that's more of a me problem. Overall, the 5 five stars is well earned!
Very fun new bowling alley. The seating is great much more conducive to conversation and a fun group event than typical bowling alleys.
Fun place! Prices are reasonable, they seem to have deals going on all the time. The place was very well kept and clean. We played bowling and the waiters were very responsive! Overall a pleasant experience!
We had the best time. Love the wrist band all you can do special. The dark ride is so fun! Love how you can watch laser tag on the monitor!
It's really fun to go with friends and family, for the go-kart, and laser tag, you can ride as much as you want. Arcades were fun to challenge with friends. Foods were okay, but I wasn't here for the food so I give 5 ?.
Let me first start off by saying how excellent the GM is at this particular boondocks Michael had made me feel that my feelings were as important and that he was willing to help in any way he can he's very polite he respects his employees any respects the customers in his place and why everyone to have a excellent and great experience there I must say I used to go for many years I went all the time and I stopped going and I came back and got some good service and got to see that they're always trying to mak
we had a good time .. they have a nice variety of things to do. with the miniature golf, Go-Karts, Battle boats, and laser tag we stayed busy for 4 hours... we will do agaain
It's a lot of fun though I do feel that the arcade area is a little over priced for some of the games when compared to some of the other arcades in the area. But the race track, bumper boats, and min golf course makes it worth the time and money
Went there this past Sunday, pretty good for most part. But need more employees. Didn't get services while bowling. But that's bout it so far.
We came here with 4 people it was 150$. And when we went miniature golfing the lights weren't on at all. You think they would remember the lights so people can see to golf :/
Fun but expensive. One bartender for two bars is a horrible idea. We would have actually spent more on alcohol had it been available.
My family of 5 used to love coming to boondocks but the selection of games was not the best tonight. Alot of the games were broken or not working and the game price was really expensive. $100 to play games only lasted 30 to 40 min. When most games cost 1.50 to 2.00 to play... I dont think we will return any time soon.. Nicklemania is better for the price and your money goes along way. The mini golf and go karts are worth the price just not the games..
Fantastic fun center, I've been disappointed by their changes over time to their "unlimited" time, but you can currently get 4 hours unlimited attractions. Arcade time is sold separately now, which is new. The food is alright, but overpriced for sure. I enjoy getting fries when I bowl but that's about it. Plenty of good dessert options! Laser tag, ask about King of the Hill mode, they don't generally do it unless you ask since it has a longer introduction video but it is something for the more advanced lase
All I wanted for my birthday was to have fun with my nieces and nephews so my wife planned my 40th birthday celebration at the Boondocks. We had so much fun and the kids can't stop talking about all the fun they had. Great place for large groups. Taste of Italy Buffet was delicious. My wife loved working with Roseanne, she's amazing and helped us with everything. We will definitely be going back again. Thanks Roseanne & Boondocks!
Boondocks is a pretty sweet hangout! They have mini golf, bumper boats, go karts, batting cages, laser tag, XD theater and tons of cool arcade games that you can win prizes with. The mini golf course is pretty sweet. Great place for the family, or a business part. I've had the pizza before as well, and it was pretty good too!
A good place to have a good time, the prices are accessible and bienos packages for parties, the food that could improve more different things will help the business more sales and at the same time we as customers can have more consumption in the same place, I give him five stars and varoas photos of the place.
Ian and Adam are the best!! They helped us a whole bunch of times and were super nice and respectful!! Give these men a raise!!
Such a fun place! Climbing course, arcade, laser tag, go kart racing, water bumper cars, food- there's so much to do here! 100% recommend this for adults and kids alike.
The atmosphere is what you'd expect but a whole lot more! They have so much going on these days! The two mini golf courses they have are just challenging enough but definitely don't shy away from fun! Laser tag is perfect for families and the arcade caters to everyone. Bowling, bumper boats and go-karts always leave you wanting more! The food is far better than other fun centers out there. Their facilities are clean which is very impressive considering the atmosphere. Oh and one last thing. Your kids (and m
So nice, it feels super upscale after the remodel, new bowling alley and food delivery system is great.
Nice place to go with your Children, lots of things to do
This place is well kept and the service is not bad at all. Everyone is engaged and wants to help you have a great time. Two big issues though are the overpriced food and games at times; and the long lines. There are a lot of long lines for all the events.
Just about every arcade game we tried was broken. We had keep stopping for help. Putt putt golf course was really in need of a coat of paint. It was dirty. Kaysville Boondocks is way better!
Came in for our spring break on a Tuesday to use the special pricing. We came in a little after 10 am and stayed until 7pm! I have a 13yo, 11yo and 9yo. We all had a fantastic, fun day! The facility was large and very clean! There was plenty to do: laser tag, 2 go-kart race tracks, batting cages, bumper boats, 2 outdoor 18 hole mini golf, indoor kiddie cove (to small for my kids), xd dark ride (3 versions), good selection of arcade. Also decent amount of seating near each attraction. My kids particularly lo
Always a good time at boondocks. We love the Put Put Golf. Their arcade is kind of pricy so we mainly go for the golf.
We used to come and it was a fun place for the kids. It is modern, but not in a good way. The cost is insane for anything you buy.
We went to the recently renovated Boondocks in Draper yesterday, Friday December 27th, and while it looked great, the entire indoor area smells HORRIBLE! The facility has a strong ammonia/rotten egg smell. We tried to tough it out and play arcade games, but it was just too bad and me and my daughter got physically ill from it and our whole family had to leave. I am even tempted to call whatever regulatory agency manages the safety of places like this, because I don't think a smell so distinctly chemical and
CV19 protocols in place & overall good service. Employees were consistently wiping things down including golf clubs, bumper boats, bathrooms & arcade games every half hour or so. Masks required. Very few guests were not wearing masks. Very impressed with the value you get for your dollar.
The employees are great! The mini golf course is pretty fun, too.
This is a really fun and well maintained park. The two mini golf courses are full of flowers and very pretty. We had a good time having a real life Mario Cart experience and the bumper boats were the best. I thought they just buzz around and bump into each other, but you actually get to squirt everyone while you're driving. A little pricey, but probably worth the fee.
Did a 12-yo birthday party here. Huge success. Got the three hour unlimited package. The kids barely spent their $5 in games because they were so busy with all the other activities. Price was steep but worth it.
Very fun and relaxing environment! Went for my birthday and had tons of fun!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
