We are new to Wyoming and went to Boomtown tonight. The food was amazing!! Hot and fresh!! The customer service was great. The young man (I didn't get his name) was working really hard. He was serving the food, taking orders and was very patient with my son who was very undecided on what to get with his tickets. Lol The food was so good that we got pizza to go for lunch the next day. The only thing that I have to say that is kind of bad is it was hot/muggy in there. I thought when other?s wrote it and that
Out of all the places we have had a birthday in Casper in 2 years for our 5 kids, We absolutely were so impressed with Lexie and have never had a better host! Thank you Lexie for making our night so amazing! Our family will forever remember you and your kindness and customer service!
Always have a great time here, lanes look beautiful and the staff is always helpful. If you've had a bad experience in the past highly recommended trying them again. Got there wings and frys and wasn't disappointed, they even extended are game 5 minutes when we still had a few frames left. Great experience overall look forward to continuing to come back
Bowling ?? has new upgraded game options. It was really cold ?? in the bowling area, but it was 20 below zero outside. They do offer a lot of options for eating. Pizza ?? was really good, and kids really liked the fries ?? and chicken ?? nuggets ??. The arcade area was a little warmer. Lots of arcade games ?? ??. The prizes were not too plentiful, but kids still enjoyed ?? ??. The big screens behind the bowling pins had music videos and funny home video compilation ??
Just got back from "bowling" at Boomtown Blast. WARNING: Do NOT go if you want regular bowling. This place has strings on the end of the pins that can knock down other pins without touching them or kill the pin-action after you hit a large group of pins. WARNING: EXTREMELY DRY LANES!!!!! If the only thing you can throw is a strait ball, then you are probably in luck. If you bowl with any kind of hook or curve, then you might as well forget about it because your ball will end up in the gutter constantly. I w
Super reasonable rates, friendly staff. We were able to bowl, have a pizza, a drink and play a few arcade games for around $50-60. Fun for a date night or with the family.
Just what Casper needed! It's a fun family outing. I'm so happy to see a fun facility like this. And, they do birthdays! ????
If you like regular bowling don't go here. they have strings on the pins. stick to el marko where the staff is nicer and prices are 10x cheaper. this place does it by the hour and their food isn't amazing..
I recently visited this bowling alley, and it was a disaster from start to finish. The place was filthy, with trash on the floors and dirty tables that hadn't been cleaned in what seemed like forever. On top of that, it was unbearably hot inside?no air conditioning to speak of, which made it uncomfortable to even stay, let alone bowl. The lanes were extremely dry, making it nearly impossible to get a decent game going. The ball would either stick or veer off in random directions. The equipment was in terri
The waitresses need more training and the bar staff needs help in general. Game days are fun, but long wait time for simple drink orders and the food is questionable. This place hires the bare minimum effort and are literally kids working here.
The kids had so much fun at a party here! They really enjoyed the bowling games and arcade games.
It was Ok a bit much for 1 hour of bowling and they cutt us off. At the last frame. The young adult teenagers were just kind of snoddy That were working there... But one that was working the concessions was really sweet...
I was in last night, I ordered some bone-in wings, mozzarella sticks, and a basket of fries. The food was amazing! Alex really knows what he's doing in that kitchen. I will definitely be back again.
Not a good experience food was not good and at the end they charged an extra 100 dollars to my bill without my knowledge not a happy birthday
The lanes are kinda messed up and the string system they have there ain't really the best. Good food and drinks
Great bowling /arcade experience. Ordered a pizza using the online menu and we never got it.
Great service! We had so much fun bowling, listening to the music, and snacking on apps. We will definitely back!
Super friendly staff, fun trivia, good simple bowling. Great and affordable for students!
We love going to boomtown. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Always fun.
As far as entertainment and fun it's a great place, my kid loved it. But in order to compete with el Marco, you should put more effort to the bowling experience. The lanes are terrible. Not a drop of oil in our lane, made the bowling awful. Everything else is awesome even the scoring system!
A nice place for family friend environment. Definitely highly recommend for a family night out from either bowling with the fam or going over to the acrade great fun for the whole family we had a blast and they also offer great pizza and other appitierzers
The people are nice and helpful here. The arcade and bowling here are great!
Boomtown is an amazing place with awesome food and entertainment every time I go there they are just expanding the arcade machines and the workers are always helpful one time we got are ball stuck and the employees gladly got up and helped us
I wanted to get my 4 young kids out of the house and promised them a night out to dinner and some arcade games. When we arrived no one was sitting at the dining tables however every table was dirty and dishes were left on the table from previous guests. After waiting for about 15 minutes with 4 kids I asked if we could sit at a table to which 10 minutes later they began cleaning some tables. After finally being able to sit down my wife and I entertained our 4 children for 30 minutes until I finally went and
We did a 6 year olds birthday party here, I just wanted to shout out the amazing girl working that went above and beyond. Kaia (not sure if that was how you spell her name so sorry) did an amazing job dealing with lots of kids asking lots of questions and helped make my time as a parents much more enjoyable. 10/10 party thank you!
This place has the potential to be really neat. They have a ton of unique arcade games, and I was really excited to come here. However, over 50% of their arcade games had error codes and wouldn't work. I figured they'd fix them overnight possibly, so I came back the next day. Nope. I asked multiple staff members when the games would be fixed and got ?oh, there are some with error codes?? And ?I'm not sure?. Like what?! Most are also really simple error codes like out of tickets (they use cards for tokens an
If I could give negative stars I would. Had a 2 hour party there and was quoted a price. Go to pay and was told I had to do a 18% tip. So the tip was $81 and they did not do a thing to earn it. In fact we had to go find them anytime we needed anything so what the hell did I have to tip for. I will never recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever step foot in there again. They are very greedy owners.
If you like to bowl don't come here! Worst lanes I've ever bowled! Lanes uneven and seemed as if they were never waxed! Highly disappointed for the money spent. Go to el Marco.
Fun place plenty of games for kids and adults
Stopped to see the remodel ... it looks amazing!! Wanted a beer so I sat at the bar. There were 2 other patrons having drinks in the entire bar area. I sat for 5 minutes before I was acknowledged by the patrons at the bar that said the bartender was in the back. It was another 3 minutes until the bartender walked out from the back and asked what I wanted. Would not recommend if you want to stop for a quick drink and expect service.
They deleted my last review, but this company is a joke, for multiple reasons. Over working minors, stealing tips from the employees, refused refunds on unplayed games, we ordered a pitcher of soda and they stopped refilling it after 2 refills even tho it says on all the menus it's unlimited, they're money hungry and a joke. Again THEY DELETED MY LAST REVIEW TOO, AVOID THIS COMPANY!
My friends and I visit here frequently and have always had a blast but we've never had an experience like we did last night. We arrived and our server hadn't asked if we wanted to place our order so we went to the window and ordered nachos, chili fries, and a pizza. Later we wanted drinks, still no server so we went to the window where they told us we needed to go through our server, so we catch her and place our drink order. She later on comes back and asked if we're ready for our ticket she said it has th
my husband and I have gone to dinner and have a good time, we lasted 30 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. We asked about the service and he was never there to take our order, the service and attention of the waiters is very poor and inattentive. The place is incredible and the food is excellent....it is disappointing that the staff is not trained to provide quality service.
Had our sons birthday party there today . Kids loved every minute of it ! Between bowling and the arcade the kids filled the 2 hours . Food was awesome . Service was amazing ! Everyone that worked today did an awesome job. Will definitely be back.
What a fun time with my son and granddaughter! Definitely recommend and will go back again soon!
The bowling was fun. I would eat before you show up though. Bowled for an hour and a half and barely got our food before we were done bowling
Had my son's birthday party here. Once we got going all was fine, it was getting going that was the problem. I had the room booked from 1230 to 230, I was told I could arrive around 1215 to set up as the room was booked for a party before that. I get there but the room is still occupied, I ask when can I get in to set up and am told it'll be a bit, the other party is still using it. I wait a bit longer and it's still in use, at this point guests are starting to show up, finally the employees clear the room
Nice place, quite, with friendly staff
After waiting almost an hour just for soda I had to get our own refills several times and our own additional plates, and condiments. Our waitress, shout out to Bridgette, threated to call call the cops on me when I was walking a minor out to their parents at the front door. We spent over $200 there and it was a wild, awful experience.
We had our grandsons birthday party here for the second time. His 4th birthday was the first time & I forgot to add my review,,the place was clean & the ppl were great! That was in 2019. He wanted to have his party there again this year his 9th birthday. They have remodeled & we had a good time,,the bowling is a lot of fun,,they have you take funny face pictures for your place to bowl & then show little cartoons with ur picture which was fun. The pizza was very good & the staff were also very good. The kids
Food was good bowling was better. The staffs was really nice throught out my night with them .
Meh. Pretty expensive for what you get in the arcade area. Especially for the amount of arcades that weren't working. We still had fun though. Food was fine. Kids enjoyed it
If you're looking to bowl save yourself and just go to el Marco. If you don't care much about the actual bowling lanes it's not terrible but you're better off at the wagon wheel or even pizza ranch?s arcade.
The staff there are excellent. Great prices. The equipment is very dated and the balls have pockmarks so bad in them that they do what they want when you roll them. The snack bar is kind of limited. I would not recommend the nachos. The cheese has a strange sweet flavor. There is a restaurant connected right to the bowling alley where you can get pretty decent food. There a are quite a few alleys. We were there on the day before Valentine's day and the place was empty at 6pm. So some nights it seems you get
If you haven't gone to Boomtown Blast for the food you are missing out! The food is delicious. The people are very friendly and attentive! I could go on forever. I could eat here daily and not get sick of it. Definitely will be coming back.
It was a nice atmosphere and it seemed fully staffed. We were immediately told that we couldn't all have bumpers on our lanes. They said they would allow the last person to bowl to have bumpers. There were six of us. 4 were kids. They compromised with us and let the last 3 children have bumpers. I didn't experience a wait time except when we approached the food window to get drinks they told us we had to wait for a server to come help us. We didnt see a server for the first 10 minutes. We ordered a pitcher
Went here for my birthday; the font desk person was also the kitchen person, so we waited for like 10 minutes to get in. They didn't have my or my daughters shoe size (we have normal shoe sizes), and they gave my kids a 7 pound ball to share. They said it was the lightest ball they had, and my two kids couldn't bowl at all. The machines were faulty. There were several lanes which weren't in use anymore. My lane's machine would often take a few pins when they went up. The worst part however was that it w
Actually really fun and great customer service! Thier arcade card machine was broken though with no 'OUT OF ORDER' sign so you didn't know until you waiting in line and then got to it; so you had to get your card at the same counter everyone was picking thier items they won so for that it gets 4 stars. They were also having technical problems with the music but for having just opened, pretty great experience overall! We didn't eat anything while we were there. The colors and furniture and lighting is very m
Had A lot of fun i will come back awesome staff Hope you have a good day
This establishment is very affordable, compared to el Marco, and the staff are much more friendly and make your visit as fun as possible. If something had gone wrong they worked fast to fix it and apologized profusely. They do only have a certain few things in their concession stand, but the bowling alley is conveniently attached to a bar and restaurant. Sunrise is supposedly undergoing some changes, making the whole business look more up to date, and giving it a comfortable vibe. I will definitely be bring
The bowling was fun and I liked the restaurant style eating you get while bowling. The wait staff was great and efficient. Will go again!
Had the sweetest server for our party a saturday early afternoon, she was so quick to greet us and everything went exactly as planned with her. Would definitely come back here for a birthday party
We had my son's birthday party there this last weekend. It was absolutely AMAZING!! Everyone was extremely helpful and very polite. It made a very crazy event fun. I highly recommend this place!! Thank you again to everyone that helped out.
There was nowhere to sit and wait, except a dark excuse for a restaurant with no working lights and an upside down table. then, we got there and they told us a 40 minute wait, which was fine, but 30 minutes later they told us 45 minutes later, so that's fun. they have seven lanes closed down, no tvs on the wall, and all of the employees were openly vaping in the kitchen around the food.
We're from New York and we're part of the casting crew for a new TV show about the best bars and I have to say, charity KILLED it with service and I'd be interested in hiring her to roll with us!
We had a work party here last week. Rented lanes and arcade for 2 hours. Super fun, new place is looking good. Staff was very helpful. We had a great time and will definitely be back again.
It's a nice upgraded bowling alley. My downfall was HOW LOUD the music is. If the music wasn't that loud I'd love to take my family back. Otherwise, even being just 30 years old, the music was so unbearably loud I left with a terrible headache.
Great environment with excellent and attentive staff, my 12 year old daughter and I had a super fun time bowling and in the arcade. Only thing is that it is VERY expensive, 39$ for her and I to bowl for an hour and every game in the arcade cost around $2 to play.
It was a poor experience. Lied about the wait time, didn't let us reserve a lane when I called. They let others go infront of us. Most of the lanes are down. Staff was rude, and vaping in the food area, and near children. Not family friendly at all. So bad I wish I could give it -5 stars. Don't recommend.
The staff was nice. They had issues with all of the machines. We used. The whole point of bowling is to be able to keep track of the score. When the machine continually malfunctions that takes away some of the fun. They could use an update. We had the place to ourself for quite some time and then other customers joined us. Wouldn't have been worth it if we paid full price but we got the buy one get one deal for Tuesday night
We rented 3 lanes for my kids' birthday party...bought their party package for 2 hours/10 people with plans to buy extra food for the extra people (we had a party of 14). When we got there, they got us our lanes and charged me for the party...fine. Then said we could get one pizza. I asked about ordering extra pizzas at an additional charge (which I discussed on the phone when I made the reservation) and I was told, no only one pizza, period (apparently they didn't have enough supplies to make more than
We love this place it's awesome! The arcade is better priced than the other one in Casper and it's more fun! You can also bowl and get food and drinks. It's a great party venue for a kiddo and the people who work here seem friendly!
Nice local bar with a small town vibe. If you want to venture out to the bowling alley or maybe get in a game at the arcade it is all available here.
Had lunch in the restaurant last Friday with girlfriends. Service was great! Food was good and reasonably priced. They have a daily special. Check them out, we were all pleased!
The chicken nachos definitely have a kick! If you have a hankerin' for some spicy nachos, they will hit the spot. The burgers are also pretty darn good. Drink prices are reasonable as well.
I love going here with my friends, but Every time I get the the pitcher of any fountain drink i always get a sore throat, Idk if it's the soda machines that need cleaning or the ice machine, or if they don't clean the cups or pitchers good enough
The lanes had the absolute worst oil job I've ever seen. The employees are rude. And the lanes all in all are ghetto. No oil on most of the lane, and the only parts that had oil are typically the least oiled areas. Overpriced and not at all worth a quarter of what I paid. Maybe a halfway decent place if you don't know anything about bowling. But if your used to using a real lane at a real bowling alley, do not even bother.
Went with the family for their Lazer bowl. The staff is very lazy but that is what you get when you hire kids to work I guess. Loved the fact that the bumpers for my kids were busted up and only partially stopped the ball. Half the bumpers on the left side of the lane were missing and had a space between a 2 foot section and then another section that was roughly 8 feet long. The pins wouldn't reset multiple times because the sensor wouldnt activate and according to the staff we had to push a button to reset
awesome staff management was great wanted to check out the lanes and the manager let me have a couple of minutes just to see how the shoes fit and if the balls rolled just right
While I'm still a little skeptical about the magic wires that control the pins this place is still amazingly fun and awesome to be in. They also have such good food making it the perfect one stop place for a great time out with friends or family!
When we arrived, there was one person working the lanes, front desk, AND concessions. Worker was helpful and worked as quickly as possible to help everyone but 3 hats is a lot to demand of 1 worker. If going just to have fun with friends it is a great time. BUT if you want good bowling, the balls are very worn and several we grabbed had cracks in them. Shoes are there worn and most are torn.
The bowling lane we had was awful and charging per hour is DUMB! Go back to charging per line of bowling and you might get more business.
Sunrise used to be decent. The lanes are very poorly maintained and break frequently. If you have kids don't even bother using bumpers because they're broken in sections and barely work. For the price they charge the service is terrible.
Used to work in the kitchen- no training what-so-ever. Luckily, I knew my way around. Only reviewing because my little sis got food poisoning last week from undercooked chicken wings :( Don't order food unless it's pizza. Seems like that's the only thing people are trained on.
No music which sucks. Incompetent and slow employees. Waitresses had no idea who's lane was who's and didn't care at all about good service. If you just wanna toss some headphones in and bowl alone this is a chill spot, as long as you don't order anything.
It's not dislike they bring you food to table on the lane side and asked if you need sauces then proceed to charge you for them also fill only a quarter way so lesson learned bring Sauce packets
I love this place ! The only downside is you buy bowling lane per hour ,not per game ...and it stops when time is out , regardless if you are in the middle of the game . Shoes are not included in the game price .
The music and audio in the bowling alley is far too loud, but outside of that it's a cool place. They also have Wyoming gallons and some little game place and they also have a bar with food
I took my family to bowl last week, I found this bowling alley to be filthy, and the staff to be incredibly lazy and rude. One of the tables was covered in plates of crusty old food, and when I asked the girl at the counter to please have the table cleaned off so we could use it, she sighed, then rolled her eyes at me and moved the plates from one table to another instead of cleaning the table! Disgusting! So we didn't order any food. Don't go to sunrise lanes! If you do, bring hand sanitizer and a get a te
the new owners have done an amazing job! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great and the environment was wonderful.
Great atmosphere and an all around fun bowling alley. The pins being on strings threw me off a little bit, but it was a great time. Awesome place to take the kids
I just want to say, these guys handled a party of 15 really quickly. The service was great and friendly. The lanes are a little busted up, but it's still a wonderful place to go cosmic bowling on a friday night.
Jordan is a great server worked her but off for me and family
This was the best bowling alley I have ever been to. Even though we got to push the reset button a lot it was a blast. They have plenty of the things to help the kids bowl and the pizza was amazing!!!
Me and my mother had come here Sunday, November 7. We come to have fun but yet turned down in a harsh way. I honestly don't think these people should run this place like they should. I don't recommend coming here at all no matter the circumstances.
I went there with my son and his friends. He ordered some cheese sticks to snack on while bowling. It took them 2 hours to bring them and that was after giving the first ones to someone else and instead of refunding the money he was still charged for them and told he couldn't send them back..
Great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a hot day and they had it nice and cool inside. It was a great place to spend the hot day at very reasonable prices.
There really should be two people running the arcade counter/bowling checkin.. it's a nice place but not enough workers, there was a lot of waiting??for a bunch of people!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
