Great video game and hobby shop in Billerica, in Browns Corner. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and the store's fun to browse around. I think the best way to describe this place is nostalgic. They have every single memory in regards to gaming you could ever think of with a perfect mix of the newer stuff as well. Cute little store, but very limited selection for games.

I bought a game that had a label stating it was CIB. This means it is supposed to be a game that includes box, disc, and manual. Most people who collect games will only consider CIB. I am not as strict but it does affect the value as missing manual or box will obviously result in a lower purchase price. I got home and opened their seal- which they put on literally every box in the store so you can't look at the disc or manual without breaking the seal which affects the ability to return the game. This shop does it right. Great selection of games goes without saying. But the accessories they have, especially first party controllers, put it above any game store I've been to. And everything is priced fairly unlike some shops that try to charge a nostalgia tax

I recently came to Boom Boom Games after signing up for a Mario Kart Live Circuit tournament that consisted of 8 players. I have to say, I haven't had this much fun in a while. I had the pleasure of working with Ben today. I had a bunch of toys to sell from the 70s and 80s. Ben came by my home and spent a good amount of time looking through the toys. We spent a chunk of time talking about and reminiscing the toys I had laid out. Ben gave me a great offer and we agreed on letting him buy the collection. Awesome interior- feed much more friendly than GameStop. Prices are sometimes a bit much, but I'll be damned if I'm not happy that I have a local games store- and they do store-wide sales so that can help with those prices.

Nostalgia at its best. I first went to their store over a year ago and was not disappointed. All their staff are courtesy, create a great atmosphere to browse and chat with them, and are quite knowledgeable about all the items they have for sale. Whether it be purchasing from their eBay site or visiting the store, they have always gone the extra step for me. Their selection of retro games are amazing and highly recommend them.

Went into the store, associates were very knowledgeable about trading cards, pokemon in particular! Stopped by today after hearing the commercial on the radio, what a nice store this is! Friendly knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices. They have the coolest hard to find items, A collectors dream store. Had to wait a little bit to check out as there was a line (which I suppose is a good thing). Will be back again, highly recommend.

Good selection of vintage games, but pricey. You'll have no problem finding the classics, but rarer games and systems might be a challenge. Nice selection of vintage toys and modern collectables. Store is a bit on the small side with a lot packed in, can be hard to get around when busy, so trigger warning for those who are claustrophobic.

This new retro game store is off to a great start. It's a small location but they have an impressive selection of PS2/Gamecube games here. They have a variety of older and newer games as well. Everything is nearly shrink wrapped and labeled. I was impressed to have this in my neighborhood.

wonderful selection of hard to find items, talked with the owner for a bit who was great to talk about the common hobby we share and he told me about a way to grade some of my collectibles. worth the trip, i was able to walk out with 4 items that were needed to add to or even finish a game series. cant wait to make another trip

What a store. Considering retro gaming stores are hard to come by in Massachusetts, Boom Boom doesn't skip a beat. I was honestly in shock at how clean everything was, I swear it felt like I was shopping in a brand new game store. The owner was insanely nice, I wanted to hangout there all day. Cram packed with vintage video game and toy goodness. Variety is good. The wall of new items is awesome - super easy to oogle at what's just in. If something is not on the sales floor, ask! It might be out back.

Make sure when you buy somthing that it's somthing you want the recipe says clearly no returns on sealed items but when u return somthing that's unsealed they tell you it needs to be sealed . On top of that if you bring in a sealed item for a return within a day you can't return it even since its a third party item even tho they sold it to me I won't be shopping here anymore

Amazing videogame store & more! Very small building with very much inside! All types of games ranging from PlayStation 1-5, xbox original, 360, one, and even some new xbox series x stuff, sega dreamcast, saturn, CD, NES, SNES, and tons of handhelds. there's also a section with WWE action figures and memorabilia, as well as many star wars memorabilia and multiple types of movies!

The website claims they're open until 9. Called and had them hold a game, showed up at 8:30. Place was closed. Super hassle they should absolutely update their hours if they're no longer correct.
