Took the kiddos to Bonkers. What an amazing experience. The staff were very professional and helpful. The place was clean and well maintained. One little guy had an accident and the staff quickly shut that part down to clean and sanitize the area. Collin was a gem with the little ones. Very kind and respectful! GREAT JOB BONKERS!! Safe and friendly atmosphere for all!!
We were here to host a birthday party last weekend and we had a blast. One thing I need to point out is their management. It seems like their staff are very well trained, professional and provide excellent customer services. If they don't know the answer to your question, they will consult with their manager. They even call you the day before of the party to confirm a few logistics to make sure we are all on the same page. Even when the food would be delayed for 5 minutes, our host made sure we were informe
I took my grandchildren here and they loved it. There was one ride, the Bonkers Bounce, that my grandson was petrified of and I knew he would love it if he tried it. Well one of your employees, Collin, got down to eye leave and spoke to him and calmed his nerves, convinced him to try it, and he loved it. Thank you Collin for helping him with his fears. You were so awesome with him.
We love this place and Paige is fantastic! Did the Noon Year?s Eve event this year and it was a great time! Very well thought out and definitely designed with the kiddos (not money) in mind.
Page was awesome. It was my stepsons birthday and Page made it magical. Everything that I thought was going to be a hassle was taken care of by her and the staff. She checked on us the perfect amount of times. I will recommend bonkers to everybody I know, just because of Page. Thank you so much.
We brought our three grandsons here and they had a fantastic time! Paige really helped make their experience the best! We will definitely be back! They also Enjoyed the Pizza!
I usually don't do reviews but I felt like this time it was needed. When we first moved out this way and came here it was always great and my kids had a great time. We went today (on a Friday) and there was hardly nobody in there and my fiance asked the front desk lady about having someone assist my kids to ride the ride. Well she told him the person that does it was upstairs and when he asked if she could go get the person she just ignored it so he walked away. 30 mins later I go up to her and ask the same
We always love going to bonkers, the prices are reasonable and the jungle gym is more spread out and has more for the kids to do than other places in Columbia. The prizes are reasonably (ticket) price compared to other places as well. Our kids can always get something with the tickets won. The staff works hard and are always friendly! The food is great too.
PAIGE! paige is AMAZING. i had the pleasure of meeting her for my daughters birthday party here. she's vibrant and upbeat. her customer service is AMAZING. i hope to see her in upper management one day because she is totally deserving. she seamlessly ran between the kitchen, counter, directing parties, doing the build a bears, and just moving through the building. she was SUPER KIND and accommodating. my family was impressed with how smooth our party went and how much fun the kids had! highly recommend PAIG
Had a blast today with my son to celebrate his 6th birthday yesterday! There weren't many workers around to get to do the golfing upstairs or get a buildabear made.. and the games were more expensive than I expected. The play place was an absolute blast though!
I followed my daughter through the climbing maze. Every single corner and rope is filthy and brown. There were broken straps and netting throughout the course and at one point we came upon 4 straps, broken, that were easily 10 feet long and accessible to the children who were playing. The foam is shredded and broken in almost every corner and bar. It was excessively filthy. They only thing missing was the trash and dirty chunks that couldn't be there bc they fell through the netting. Youll get lice or sick go
Overall good fun experience. Great for those below freezing days to let the kids play and run off some energy. There does seem to be a shortage of managers, or they just don't answer their pages. Poor lady at the front had called for a manager repeatedly, and one just never showed up. Either help your employees, or promote them so they have the authority to do whatever it was you were supposed to do. Lady in the build-a-bear was a sweetheart.
Our party host Paige was PHENOMENAL!!! We had my sons 2nd birthday here at they had an absolute BLAST. They played games, we had a private room with lights and music, and all the kids got to go home with a build-a-bear! Paige was very accommodating and she was fantastic with all the kids. 100000/10 this was the place to be for a kids birthday! *side note* the food has no reason to be this good. I was shocked!?
Wonderful experience. Kids loved it. Arcade games were fun. For the price to play in the play place, it was great. Arcade games are a little costly but great entertainment doesn't come cheap these days.
My kids are young and love this place! The prices are pretty steep if you are bringing more than one child though. Games are pretty fun to do and you can actually get prizes and a decent amount of tickets. Therebis an indoor climb structure that is fun! Haven't done build a bear here but it's cool they offer it. Only ate food here once, as it is pricey and not the best. Eat somewhere else before coming. Other than that, great place to kill time indoors for a few hours!
It was great experience for the children clean environment with great staff
Loads of fun for the kids and very good food and drinks. You can also celebrate birthdays here in there own little party room upstairs would recommend parents with kids at any age from 2 - 12 any day of the week, take a break and get a peretzl when they are at the very top so you can eat half and the cheese has cooled down enough for them to eat when they get all the way down. ;) It's actually pretty cool how big it is and everything to do inside of the jungle gym!!
We went there for my sons birthday party Jan 18th. It was very loud as several parties were going on; the yet the staff was extremely helpful stopping to ask if we needed any plates or silverware. We were allowed to take in our our cupcake cake, they offered the plates for free. It was a lot of fun for all the kids. We just did the maze and let them climb around. There are arcade games as well as 2 small rides for kids. It was a lot of fun for the kids. It looks like the slides inside the maze is new and th
my six year old had a blast. Her favorite part was the indoor playground which is huge. She also did rock climbing, arcade games and claw machines, virtual reality ride, and even made a build a bear to take home. There was a pretty cool variety of the arcade and claw machines and they give tickets to redeem at a prize counter. Also noticed a food counter with seating area and some table games on an upper level. Staff were friendly and it was cleaned/well maintained. Would love to go back sometime.
Visited today and the place was absolutely not clean. Trash everywhere, an ungodly amount of dust under the playground area alone with dead bugs. There was poop smeared on the netting in the play area. Don't get me started on the arcade games. It's $25 for 100 coins on the card. Yet! Each game cost 50 coins, including the little carousel you find at Walmart for $.50 for the two-year-olds to ride. They are also priced at 50 coins. So you have to pay $12.50 each game. The prizes were cool but good luck gettin
We had my son's 8th birthday there did the glow up build a bear Paige was FABULOUS the staff was great we could not have asked for a better experience thank you Paige so much for helping make my lil guys visit so special
My daughter had a blast here. I love that the climbing gym part is included at flat rate, not by the hour. I believe it is $8, plus whatever you want to spend in games. Game prices are pretty steep in my opinion. But its probably still cheaper than somewhere like dave and busters. The smallest amount you can spend is $15 which will get you maybe 7-10 games, depending on which ones you play of course. Food prices are outrageous, but that's kind of expected. I would say kids from 2-10 would have the most fun
It's a little addicting so be prepared to spend money. Try everything and you won't be disappointed. The bowling and the clmibing mazes were my favorite. The only thing I can think of to improve is to sell food inside.
This is a fun place to let the kids run out some energy. My kids preferred it more when they were in elementary school, but the arcade keeps the middle schoolers busy. 2 of my 3 kids have had birthday parties there that didn't disappoint.
Great place to bring the kiddos. Staff is really friendly and helpful, the place is clean, even the restrooms were surprisingly clean, (usually pretty gross in similar places). Everything is reasonably priced and the food is good! Love the quiet room for the parents too! Will definitely return!
This place doesn't get enough credit! The employees were all incredibly kind, the play equipment was clean, and everything was in order. We had a blast! Will be back ??
All-in-all, it's a fun place for the kids. I think that it's nice that the management is flexible and generous enough to supply donuts and allow the employees to stay current on social media while working. Watch your kids closely, because the maze is complex and can frustrate children under 5.
While I'm sure the kids have fun, it was expensive. It is easy to drop hundreds of dollars, and we only had one child. I couldn't imagine having more than one child who wanted to play games. Yes, the maze is cheap, but not every child is content with doing the maze all day. I will say that, for the most part, the workers were amazing. They showed care and excitement with the kids.
We had my son?s 5th birthday party there this weekend and it could not have went better. After a week of them not being able to find my deposit, the manager Darcie and her staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time for our boy. Chris was our party host and he was very professional along with all the other staff members. It was a safe and clean environment and we are more than impressed with Bonkers. Would definitely recommend for any party and we will definitely be usi
We had a lot of fun. The yearly passes are awesome priced too and zero crowd in the day. We will be back with the full crew soon. Update, brought most crew back; my 6yo and two 9yo?s everyone had a great time climbing the maze and playing arcade games.
We always have fun at bonkers. They are a little pricey, but my 6 year old Loves going there. There gamesnow are kind of rigged! More so than before. The police superpowers small cranes are a rip off. 10 times dead one the object and it would not hold it. ?? This is kids play place and expensive at that. ??
Grand daughter, she is 3, had the time of her life. Much cleaner and the staff was friendlier than Chucke Cheese. The rides were tailored to children.
The kids working here are so friendly and helpful. Very impressed with that. It really is a fun place for kids and adults, so much to do
There is a young man there that is very fair skinned, white hair...thank you for being so sweet and joyful. You made the grandkids experience very pleasant and made a crazy place full of kids bearable
had an ABSOLUTELY great experience there. Took all 3 of my grandkids and even got go up my self.. Love being a grandpa at places like this..
The place definitely isn't as taken care of as it use to be. Most things in the maze are broken ... Including some pieces of the 'flooring'... My kiddo got her feet stuck in several places. And some thing just tied together I stead of replaced....
I give it a 4 outta 5 because the photo booth wasn't working, along with some other games we wanted to play. But the girl let the kids ride the farris wheel for free. The food took forever, but it was really good.
Took 4 young boys to play all day... They have had a blast... Very clean environment. Staff are friendly... Food is expensive...
This is a great place for kids, it can get a little pricey for all the arcade games, and a few of them are down each time I visit. They got rid of the bowling too which I wish they would have kept. But the staff is always friendly and willing to help, and the maze is fun!
We were in town because my fianc? had to attend a conference, and my son and I were looking for something to do in the meantime! Bonkers blew our minds! There was so much to do and so many games to play. My 5 year old and I had a BLAST together. This is the best play place we've ever been to. The workers were also EXTREMELY nice and helpful. Amazing place overall!
Was super fun as a kid for myself, as a parent now.. super disappointed that all the climbing area has been remodeled and made SO MUCH smaller. There's no area for kids under a certain age so our young children are getting beat around trying to climb by kids any older then 5. Games used to be fun and now they're to expensive to play. There's more rides then there is climbing to explore or games for families to enjoy. Will always return for some fun.. but will only be special occasions such as birthdays.
We love bonkers so much, we have a blast every time we go here, the last time we was here was in 2020 for my sons 11th birthday. Cant wait to come back soon #11birthdayparty #bonkers columbia Missouri ??????????
Definitely not a low budget spur of the moment idea for something fun to do with kiddos. But worth it if able to spend about 50 bucks a kid
We have a great time everytime we go!!! It was my oldest daughter 1st time and she enjoyed it so much just like her siblings every time we go!
Super fun! Winning games, virtual rides, and SO much more. I had just as much fun as the children. Years ago, I would take my children, now I take the next generation. It's bigger and better than ever!
We've gone here quite a bit, even though everything is pretty overpriced, especially after various cost increases for rides($3 to ride the baby carousel? really?), but the biggest problem occured recently. My kids were pretty excited to go, and this time they did various thing that got them tickets, including one of the ticket claw machines. Finally managing to get them to the point to leave, we go to the ticket prize counter and are informed that we only have 2 tickets on our card and that all the tickets
Not worth the time or money. If you have kids under 5 go to Columbia Mall, its free. Spent $8 to get my 16 month old in only to find out there really isn't anything in there for her age. It would have been nice if the person at the entry desk had told us that. I do not recommend it for any child under 4 or 5.
Talk about a one stop shop for fun! Currently visiting in the area and was looking for something family friendly and I'm so glad I came across this place. The staff was unfortunately short staffed, but the ones that were there went above and beyond to create an enjoyable experience for my child. Would highly recommend!
Some of the staff are great. Others not so much. They have one staff member in particular, Camilla, that tempers with my daughter's belongings everything she works with her. each time when her back is turned. At 1st it started with snarky remarks and comments until my daughter started reporting her to management. Then it would be this employee moving items belonging to my daughter but today she stole a small item my daughter had underneath the register. Nothing is being done about this other than the manage
Workers were trying to clean downstairs, but the play structure is pretty worn and could use a good scrubbing.
I gotta say I'm not sold on the new Bonkers....you guys took out the playground to add more games? I bring my kids here when the weather is bad to stretch their legs and pull them away from their digital world to interact with other humans face to face. I'm not against games I love games but I wish you would have left the playground alone.....I'd rather seen you guys add to it.
The kids had fun, the staff was friendly. Be sure to bring socks for the kids so you don't have to buy them.
I've been going since they opened. Definitely has changed for the worst but will I keep going back? Yes because there is very little for kids to do in Columbia. Would bump up a star if they brought back a toddler area and allowed outside water. They denied me my water bottle at 8 months pregnant. I will never forget that.
Absolutely love this place. Spent less than 15.00 for entry and all day pass for 3 kids . Has absolutely everything a kids could want and more. Food deals are amazing spent $15.00 on extra "tokens" which is a card that can be reloaded any tickets you win go right on to the card to either spend or save for future visits. The manager was a really great guy who really added to the experience. He even gave me 4 free passes for the next we go. Which we definitely will be. Cant wait for my family to visit to shar
This ABC Preschool we went to bonkers today with 40 children. It was the best experience! The staff was great!!! Especially Paige!!! She had everything ready for us and even set the kids plates and cups out for lunch and served them!!!! Bonkers has never done this for us before!!! We were super happy and impressed!!! Made our job so much easier so we could watch the children. Thanks!!!!
Great escape for Littles especially when it's 100 degrees outside. Can drop a hundred bucks super fast with 3 little ones on games, but otherwise not a bad value at all.
Great place to take the entire family! $8 per child just to do the maze. There is a great $50 package that gets you pizza, soda, the maze and coins to play the games. Cute prizes! We will definitely make Bonkers a regular fun place, especially on bad weathered days.
My daughter loves this place but I feel annoyed that I can't bring a coffee to enjoy myself while she is enjoying herself. Please change this policy. I understand that you want to make money off of concessions, but the food is awful and I just want to enjoy a coffee.
Wonderful place for kids! Second time here and our 19month old girl loves it! The first time she loved the toddler area upstairs and the bus that plays music and tilts back and forth and this time she loved the little safari car! The prices are great too, you get so many tickets from the arcade games, they have basketball and bowling! Once our little girl gets older I'm sure she'll love the play maze which has awesome slides!
I brought my daughter here in hopes of having some fun but hesitant because I've had bad experiences at similar places. This was not one of those times. This place is very clean. The two story indoor jungle gym is amazing. It has a lot of activities within it and numerous slides. The food was very good at a good price for what you get. The arcade games are newer. The ticket games range from the classics like the claw game to a full indoor bowling game. This is a family friendly safe place to take your kids.
Bonkers is a great place, the staff is friendly, the place for the children to play is both large and clean (no small feat with that many children!). There's lots to do to entertain the little ones, and even some things for the bigger "kids" like myself. They have security measures in place to ensure the safety of your child so they are free to play in the establishment. I always have a great time when we go visit! About the only improvements i could advise would be the food quality, but they're not a resta
I took my kids today around 11am and the place was filthy. They were literally open for maybe an hour and the seating area near concessions was gross. Floor not swept tables not wiped off. Looked like closing crew didn't even bother to clean. They also had kids going back to the kitchen area and behind the counters using the intercom system to call people over. I will not be returning. They are more expensive than other kid friendly attractions in Columbia but lacking in cleanliness. When they first opened
Was ok, our 4 Littles needed a break and some go wild time. This did it for them. It was a little overpriced but staff compensated us for some glitches in the system.
What a fun place for the kids! I appreciated how the tables were set up in the middle of the play area so we could keep an eye on the kiddos easily. Kept our 8, 7, and 2 year old happy for 3 hours, and could have been much longer. The food left something to be desired, but it's what you expect. Get the chicken nuggets, they were pretty tasty. Between admission, food, and 25 dollars worth of games, our family of 5 spent around $80.
It was fantastic for my kids one of the best places we have ever went.
Such a great place for toddlers. We took our 3 year old here, and she loved it! From games, to a room specifically for toddlers, to a giant multi-level maze; there's so much for kids of any age to do. Pricing is unbeatable. For the whole day of play, it cost us less than $30 to buy her everything to do and for our food and drinks. It's easily the best way to spend very little and give your little ones a ton of things to do. As for food, both the adult food and the kids food is very reasonable in price, va
The equipment seems a little older and needs a little upkeep. However the place is still fun, and my toddler really enjoyed it and so did I. The games don't seem to be rigged. I was able to get a prize out of a claw machine the first try, and they're very heavy handed with the tickets which is awesome. I would go again
I took my son to Bonkers for the first time and he had a blast! It was a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing! Taniya, Jordan and Michael displayed great customer service skills. The manager Phillip was very pleasant and kind. We definitely will return for more fun and take friends along for our upcoming birthday party or just for a fun filled play day. Great fun toys by the way and reasonable prices!!!! A great clean place to take kids for some amazing indoor fun!!
Went there for my cousin's birthday party it was really fun for the kids. The staff was phenomenal and friendly fun engaging. They love the birthday cakes I made I even gave one of the staff a piece of birthday cake because she was so at awe with the cake that I offered her a piece. The kids just really love love the place and it's clean there's TVs there for adults and at that time it was football season so I loved it and so did the guys in my family LOL. Really a great place to go
I went in today to ask about birthday parties. The front greeter just stared at me without saying a word when I asked, ?I was wondering how much your birthday parties are?? She then finally turned around and found someone (again, saying nothing). That person came over & looked confused also. They then handed me some brochures & said, ?The information is also online.? Though they actually spoke, they weren't very friendly. Such a weird experience.
Booked my daughter's 3rd Birthday there, They were not very informative even when you call to ask questions Advertisement was not what was offered. Called and asked are balloons provided. Was told yes. Called day of and was informed no balloon are hioffered but they could throw a couple in. They were placed on table.Never received invitations that were part of the package, and after bringing that to their attention was told they saw email but forgot. Room space was extremely small, not as advertised. Se
Been visiting this place for years through its transitions and my kids love it. My two boys love the games and maze, I love the closed environment. My two year old and I were completely stir crazy today and needed an exciting activity. With our concerns about COVID I haven't been to bonkers since Christmas. I had trust that this team could keep us safe and put my trust in them. I observed there staff taking great care to keep the environment clean and safe. I hope more people support this fun safe establish
Had a great time! Prices aren't too high!
We took our 3 year old grandson and he may just be a bit to young for this still, they had a play area for younger kids that he was not interested in, but, he would not go through the large maze on his own, which meant one of us adults had to attempt to go with him and he only went once as he was scared. He was also to young to play the games, he did have a great time and we enjoyed watching him.
My 3 year old lost his absolute mind in a good way. We definitely need these in Florida. It was truly the absolute best place ever for him. The smiles never left his face, especially when I had to chase him down the mini bowling lane as he chased the ball. Extremely kid oriented and parents have absolute fun as well climbing through the maze with him. Great all family fun.
Super fun place. Even as an adult we went all the way through the climbing course with the kids. It was fun. They have hosted 2 birthday parties for us in a private room and they have done an excellent job. Lots of games and fun stuff for kids to do. Can be a little crowded at times, but still makes for a fun day.
This was a fabulous place for my two (active) kids to burn off some energy while we were visiting from out of town. We ended up visiting two days in a row! I appreciated being able to climb around with the kids and knowing that I could also see them from the ground. It was a very clean facility, which isn't always the case with indoor play areas. We visited during the day when most kids were in school, so we essentially had the place to ourselves. I'm sure it's quite a busy place on the weekends or during s
We had our daughter's 9th birthday party here recently. We did one of the party packages and it was wonderful, the staff was very attentive and the food was great. We really enjoyed all the added arcade equipment as well, it was like a whole new place! The price is good, especially for everything that is included. We had so much fun that my younger daughter would like to have her 5th birthday here too! Keep up the great work!
The people are friendly however during the week it's so creepy lol, my boyfriend and I spent like 15 minutes trying to find someone who worked there. Not a terrible experience, it should be expected that a children?s place would be dead during school hours, I loved it so much. I also appreciate the fact that there's a Build-A-Bear now! The closest one has been like St. Louis Mall because the one in the Columbia Mall shut down during COVID.
Would recommend for birthdays of older children 5+, And if you want to kill some time with your kids while in the area. I took my 1.5 year old and she had a blast in the toddler town. Her feet were too small for me to feel comfortable with taking her in the maze, but toddler town though small to me was more than enough for her. There was one machine in there with like peanut seats that was broken. And the floor was covered in foam puzzle mats that weren't laid properly so they were sticking up and bubbling
We had our sons 8th Birthday party here! The staff were great, our host was awesome at getting everything ready that we needed and cleaning up. The kids had a blast and it was just great! Not only was the staff great but it was also clean! I recommend taking kids here!
I took three kids 7,7,4 we all had a blast funnel cake wasn't great but burger pizza fries were pricing was good not enough sitting areas. When came time to eat you had to rush to find a spot so I would recommend eating else were first if in a group of 4 or more but besides that staff was friendly and kids and us adults had fun.
We had a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff. The kids would not leave, they had so much fun. A place we visit often. The food is awesome. Love the pizza. Such great entertainment for the kids. Keep up the great work.
This was my first time taking the kids there. I love the place because they have the climbing and crawling area . It is easy to keep up the children . They also have the games for all ages . The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
We had enjoyed our time there. Michelle was very friendly and warm! We did run into an issue while paying for our build a bear. I've tried contacting multiple times over several forms of media and no response. Overall great experience but you'd best hope you don't need to get ahold of them
Bonkers has made massive improvements recently and is a terrific place for family fun! I took my niece there last night and we had a great time. Prices were pretty much what I would expect to pay for this type of entertainment. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Ticket prizes are actually pretty cool here - my niece had a terrible time choosing what she wanted because there was so many good things to choose from.
Horrible customer service. I called ahead of time to ask if we can bring our own pizzas. she said we have to eat there which is perfectly fine. They close at 8 and when we walked in for a walk in birthday party at 6 the kitchen was already CLOSED. What so are we supposed to be hungry the whole time we are there? That's not right in my eyes. Mind you I work in customer service. If your business closes at a certain time your kitchen should too! Now I can't even cut my child?s cake and have a good time without
Kids loved the play area, pretty good size for them to run all around and climb. Arcade was fun but part of the games were in "rebooting mode" and of course those were mostly the ones my kids really wanted to play. Also, most of the staff acted like they didn't even want to be there and were very impatient.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
