Everyone is always so kind here. Any technical issues that get brought up get resolved right away. My children enjoy this place as much as I do, maybe a little more!)
Had free passes here, my kids were bored in less than 30 minutes. You don't get many points for $30. Games are 8 points at half off, so I can only imagine how many plays you get on a regular day. They have tape in many areas that they call the play area? Tables aren't cleaned, no one is manning the build a bear. Very overpriced and overrated for such a small place.
This is such a great place to come with your kids of all ages. They have a large indoor play/ climbing area that is netted and has slides. They have arcade games and even a build a bear workshop. They staff was very friendly and looked like they were working hard. I know kids play areas are typically dirty, but I had to climb in there and help my kiddo out, and there was a large abundance of dust that could not be good for breathing in. I wonder what rules are for places like this. I get it you can't get
I Love this place so much. It's fun, clean, and full of arcade games, while in the past the food was a little off the food is great now and it's fun for the whole family. (don't tell them i said this but chuck - e - cheese definently looses this battle)
Shannon was a lovely help when my young toddler dropped his sock from the play maze onto a prize machine. We have also enjoyed every visit we have had so far, my kiddos love it a lot. And the food was hot and fresh!
Took my daughter in to the build-a-bear area for the first time. My daughter absolutely loved it! We had, employee, Taylor, helping us while we did her unicorn buddy and the service and friendliness that Taylor gave was amazing and made the process fun for her! Thanks so much!
This place is clean and well kept. There are sanitizing stations throughout. You can easily spend a bit of time here. We were here 3.5 hours. Came right when they opened and heading out at 2:39p. Staff is quite friendly. Lisa's hospitality was exceptional. The visit was spectacular and Lisa and her crew didn't disappoint.
The maze is great for kids, although there is one section that winds above the front door and back into this corner that no parent can see or access. The pizza was good, other food was so so. Staff was VERY friendly and managed to keep their cool even with so many screaming kids and noise. They do a great job. The restroom was clean.
Awesome experience here! Great place to take the kiddos to burn some energy. A+
My 4-year old loved it here! The playground has a few slides, one with 4 lanes. The single lane ones are really fast and fun. There's at least two dozen different arcade games to play. About half of them give tickets. Some take skill, others are luck. As expected, the big prizes are priced so that you spend a lot of money. My son scored on average 10 tickets per game. A $20 card for us 187 tickets. The package #3 gives you 1000, so we left with a decent price and a bunch of army figured that costed 5 ticke
Everyone was so helpful today Jan 25, 2025, but want to especially say thank you to Shannon for being so helpful. The crowd was large and loud and she was just so, so, helpful with cards and bears!
This place is heaven for little kids but murder on grownups. Noise level is so high it all merges into a river of din that simply stomps conversation into impossibility and gave me a severe headache. Once you've rented a room all the games and diversions require tickets to be bought and they're pricey. We were served pizza and soft drinks but the pizza was just awful (paper-thin woefully underdone crust that drooped in hand and tasted like raw dough, paint-thin coat of flavorless marina, a few chunks of mys
Love this place. My son always has a great time. We had his birthday party there this year and it was an amazing experience for him and his friends. My son has severe food allergies and the staff went above and beyond to make sure he had safe food available for his party. We visit often and recommend to everyone.
It was a very nice place. My son enjoyed it alot. The food was good. Wish their where lockers for you to put your stuff in.
My toddler loves coming here. Safe place to bring kids and kept clean. Has a great snack bar too with lots of choices and good food.
It was so much fun and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. My son is 1 and he was entertained the entire time. Even as an adult I had a great time playing the arcade games and climbing through the maze with my son.
Not super packed, but not enough help to run register and help people with prizes. A fav spot to watch the kids play. We'll still be back. Clean and working arcade games. Not too pricey either. Got a surprise visit today from the Easter bunny. Great touch!
Service was slow as there was only 3 employees in the whole building. Games took several of our points with out letting us play. Pizza was gross and chicken strip had no flavor and bland.
The place is so much better than it used to be. The kids had a great time and the party person took great care of us!
My daughter loves it there! Wednesdays are the best cause games are half off! Ice cream is delish! The gentleman that helped us with build a bear was wonderful! Will go back
O my I think my grandbabies feel in love with Bonkers they did not want to leave
Grandsons had an awesome time here, family friendly.
Really had a blast here. All games were working on our visit. Food was great. Kids especially loved the rainbow pizza, it's a dollar more but worth their joy. Kids meal is cheaper if paid for at counter near door where you come in, under 4$. Looked inside birthday "glow" rooms, they are very cool.
Normally it's a good place to enjoy your kids playtime but this time not so much. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. I'd still recommend it to other families.
My recent experience at the place was disappointing. Despite waiting patiently at the counter, I received minimal attention, and everyone was deliberately ignoring to serve me, resulting in a prolonged wait of 20 minutes for a simple drink. I advise against bringing children to this place due to its unwelcoming atmosphere.
There are tons of prize ticket games for kids to play. If you don't like blinking lights and loud noises this is not the place for you! Kids love this place.
Hadn't been in a long time. They've made some changes to the layout which makes it easier to find your kids, but it makes the space less adventurous for older kids. Kids meals are decent for the price. Great staff working, but with only 2 in the place, wait times for food, entry, toys, etc is longer. We don't have toddlers, but they have added a soft play area and got rid of the toddler climbing section.
I'm a regular at Chuckee Cheese and I was so excited to find a place that was similar without the Rat... ???? The price was fair, the facility was clean, and I had a decent experience with the staff who took our payment and cashed our tickets in. However the atmosphere was very poor. The staff was very inattentive to the 10 teenage children shoving and fighting throughout the entire place. My 4 year old daughter was shoved by a child my size because no one interfered. At one point these children were walk
Great place for our kid's birthday party. Fair prices and we were able to get a few cool prizes with his tickets. Some of the machines will take your money and then do nothing, which was annoying, and quite a few machines were out of tickets, but since there was only 2 people working, it wasn't possible to let the staff know. Fun place
Had a fun time! There is a nice mix of games but you also don't feel overwhelmed. Most of the machines were in working order. Some of the prizes felt a little high in cost, the connect 4 game was definitely not worth it, but otherwise we got a good haul for how much we put in! The party rooms looked very cozy and we were pleasantly surprised with the pizza for what it costs. The workers were patient and friendly. The kids climbing area looked fun! It was a little weird seeing adult swim on the TV's for an a
Bonkers is an amazing time. The games are fun and the play place is a great time for the kids. For being a childrens place the staff does a wonderful job of keeping everything tidy and clean throughout the day. The food is also really good for being a childrens play place and there is also plenty of fun to be had for the adults. I absolutely recommend bonkers for birthdays and even just for a fun day out!
I really love taking my kiddo to Bonkers! The play maze is super fun for the kid (yes parents can play in it too)! And I really love the game play portion. They have a great variety, you actually get tickets, and they have 2 player games as well. And can I give a shout out to the food there. They are by far the best food (variety and taste) in all of the play places in Topeka. I truly enjoy the time I've spent here with my child. Great memories!
Giving it 5-stars any calling it ?the Cadillac of Child repression technology? One of the cleanest bathrooms iv ever used when helping my Child us the bathroom. The photos in the men's restroom made my Childs explosive bowel movement tolerable as well. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming. When diving head first into the play maze to retrieve my Spawn of satan I didn't feel like I was contracting the latest variant of Covid or AIDS . Going back this weekend to wreck the 9 year olds in the Jump sho
Great place for kids to play, but ALWAYS eat first before you go. The cheap garbage pizza is crazy expensive and absolutely NOT worth the extravagent price they charge. Even the kids didn't like it. Drinks are MLB prices too, so sneak in your own. Just play on the maze and leave it at that.
This review is meant for the kids in your life. They will LOVE it. Lots of games to play, but the climbing maze playground thingy (lol) is definitely the best feature. And for the tiny little ones, there's an area just for them as well. I don't recommend the food, but the entertainment is great for the kids.
This place is constantly getting better. It is great for all ages. my 1 and a half year old has a blast and with the new games it's great for older kids!! The food selection has gone up and the quality is way better! The assistant general manager Amanda was very kind and helpful as were the rest of the staff. I would recommend this place to anyone that has kids.
First time here and the 4 and 5yr old love it! The family deal is amazing. 10x better than Chuck E. Cheese! This will definitely be our go to for kids play time. Definitely worth the drive from JoCo
The kids had a blast, kinda on the more expensive side for the arcade area but I wasn't expecting it to be too cheap. Food prices are kinda outrageous but again, I was expecting that. Just glad the kids had a good time!
pleasant place for kids and adults, It was a busy Sunday good thing everyone was helpful and amazing I just wish they had e-tickets like Dave&Busters because the ticket station kept on jamming or having errors, overall experience was excellent.
Celebrated a birthday party there this past weekend, staff was great , building was very clean and lots of fun! Food was great! Lisa was very nice and made sure we had a great experience! We will definitely be back!
I freaking love this place! I take my kids there and we have our daughters bday there! Good deal on the fun package 3! Play maze, 10 Arcade cars and a kids meal with drink all for 20.99! I would like to see a price difference in games though! A 10$ arcade card last about 8 minutes. Yes, I timed the last time we went there! We do bdays there for our youngest and we don't have any complaints! I love the Menu and prices of food! Also love the new improvements and the games always working now!
Love this place! Very affordable and a lot to do with the whole family! The place is very clean and secure. They have a huge indoor wrap around jungle gym for different ages. Great for first time crawlers to enjoy in their own area away from the older kids! The only issue they have would be the arcade area. It does have some broken machines but if you do encounter a problem, the staff are more than welcome to reimburse you!
Tunnel system for kids has been redone, and I like it better now (before was okay also). New games and toys look awesome. Food is actually good as well. My kids love it !!! They call it the rainbow playground, and they're always hounding me to go there! Prices are cheap too.
Good place to take kids to run around. Way too pricy to play the games but if you just have them play it's only 8.00 per kid. The consession stand is slow as molasses so if you want something expect to wait at least 40 min.
Very fun and reasonably priced for kids. Place was immaculately clean. Only thing I ding them on is even without kid noise the places is headache inducing loud with all the game machines blasting noise and also playing music overhead. It's like they're all having a contest to see what can be loudest and they're all winning.
Power cord hanging between carousel and game. Management didn't seem concerned. Kid was tugging on it earlier.
Over price, extremely loud, rude front staff and horrible kitchen staff. I waited over an hour for my food, it was cold. Front staff can't even help you because of it being so loud. Chuck Cheese has customer service.
The kids had fun. That's Paramount. The food was alright, we got wings and they were sauced well. We're ranch addicts and unfortunately their ranch was store bought bottled junk. I got a cheeseburger and their buns were massive! The burger was pretty mediocre, american cheese is not my favorite. No other options. The facility itself was well maintained. The games were pretty fun. Like I said my kids had a blast and that's Paramount!
Love the food, Kids enjoyed their time here. Staff was very helpful and informative. Wish I could give it ten stars instead of five.
My kid likes it. That's all that matters.
We went for the first time last weekend. I couldn't believe how expensive it was. The pizza was the worst Pizza I ever had in my life. For what they were asking it should have been the greatest Pizza in town. The play area was clean and they require people to have socks on which is a good thing. When I use the bathroom there was soap but no paper towels anywhere to be found. I would not recommend this place. I do on the other hand believe that with a little bit of effort they could turn into a really nice e
Thanks for staying in Topeka A great place to take kids
So sad. Slowly but surely they are taking all the actual games out kids love to play and replacing them with claw machines that just take our money and give no tickets. What is the point, then they have the nerve to charge 10 dollars a kid to play on the small little indoor playground. Topeka definitely lacks in family entertainment. This place was one of the few that a family could go to and have a bit of high dollar fun and now it is just a joke.
This is your basic arcade place to take the kids. Fun for cold, rainy days. When the kids run out of their allotted money for the arcade games they have a really nice jungle gym area for the kids to run and play. It's always clean and has never felt dirty. Only 4 stars bc the food is way overpriced and not good. We never eat here. Last time we ordered nachos and it took over 30 minutes to even get it. Customer service was lacking that day
Entry is a great low price but the play cards for the arcade games are a good deal too. There was only one machine down when I went last time. Will be back. Bonkers is a regular past time for our family
It's fun for the kids, but just like every other kid place it's outrageously expensive and the prizes are cheap. My daughters woopie cushion busted after the first couple uses. I feel like they could find some better prizes for the lower amount ticket items. You have to get thousands just to redeem anything worthwhile. But the climby thing is fun, and the kids love it. So that's all that matters.
Good food and friendly service. Games are expensive because each game is a different credit/token amount. The good games are expensive and so are the kiddy/baby games/rides. They need to be more like Chuck e cheese and only charge 1 credit/token per play. I know if they changed their credit/token to 1 per play we go here more often. Otherwise my kid when asked wants Chuck e cheese because of the more games time buy for my buck time.
Kids love it, and they work off their excess energy. However, the noise level would turn off anyone, and the concession stand was VERY slow! Hire another person, you can afford it!!!
Celebrated my grandsons 5th Birthday with a party. The party packages were very reasonable. The host took care of everything and did above and beyond what was expected. I would very much recommend this facility the kids and adults had a wonderful time.
I brought several grandkids for a day of fun. We drove nearly an hour and a half and decided to have lunch when we got here. We are currently still waiting for our food and it's been just shy of an hour since we ordered. People that have ordered after us have already gotten their food and ate. Not as good here as the one in Columbia!
One of the best places to take your kids to have a fun time. Friendly staff and facilities are kept clean. I took one star off due to I wish thier food options were better and prices were more reasonable. Overall a great place for kids to let lose and there are plenty of games that are fun for adults to play to pass the time.
Great place! We ordered nachos and chicken tenders for the little one. All tasted surprisingly great. She had a blast with the games and indoor fun area. Thanks for such fun night!
DO NOT EAT HERE. The food is over priced for how crappy it is. We got up to the front and had to wait 20 minutes just to order and then had to wait 30 minutes for our food - some of which was cold. You'd get better quality at McDonalds dollar menu. I'd understand the wait if they were busy but we were literally the only people there and saw multiple employees just there and not working. There is no excuse. I've worked in food service for my entire life and I'd never, ever let my customers walk away with su
We have been in here three times. During each visit we found video games to not be in working order. Each time we have had the machines not spit out tickets. Each time we have found the place to be in need a a deep cleaning. I do like that they stamp adults and children in together so they must leave together
The gym area is great! The kids run and climb and have fun! Now the other side of it is the games. Frankly I would rather pay more to take my kids to chuck e cheese or drive to kc to Dave and Busters than spend money on these disgusting (not clean), unkept, broken games!!! What is up with this G.B.??? Half the games are out of order and the ones that are up and running don't spit out tickets. And then the Ticket Station doesn't work and won't take all of your tickets so you can get a prize after you've work
No security for the children. The little staff that they had we're too busy and there was nobody watching the doors.
Bonkers is the best name for this place becauae the kids go bonkers....its a play maze for kids to run around and it also has arcade games for the kids as well. The food is really good. They have pizza, nachos, hamburgers and fries etc...They have party rooms if you want to throw your kids a birthday party with different price ranges as well. It all depends what package you want for the party as well to determine the cost. Im throwing my babies 5 birthday up there and ill write another review if i can to te
Clean and safe. They check as each parent and kid are leaving to make sure the numbers match. The staff in the cafeteria were awesome and helpful for the whole party we were there for.
It's OK. The only thing they have over Chuck E Cheese is the climbing gym. Birthday parties there include very few credits for games but at least they have dedicated party rooms
Good for kids to play. New layout. Food service is lacking. It took over 30 min to get a pretzel and cheese. It took just about as long to get the order in with only 2 people in front of us.
Went there for my son's birthday party and it was our first time going there. We definitely are coming back again! They have awesome inside playground, snack bar, and game room! We literally spent all afternoon there.
AMAZING. We went to Topeka for a business trip. I have 4 kids under the age of 5. Its a small enough place I could watch the kids going in different directions and large enough that they had a blast. I very much enjoyed it.
Love this place! Our is inexpensive and one of the few very safe and fub places we can take out teo year old and 7 year old and thet can both have just as much fun. I also really love the safety system that they use foe parents and children. You get a number stamped on your hand to each parent and if it doesn't match your kiddos they dont open the door for you to leave. Kids can't run out and no one can run out wth them. Plus it's only 2.50 for my 2 year old!
My kids loved it there they had a blast it was better then Chuckie cheese, it was like a mini incredible pizzas, definitely going back there for more fun
Much improved!!! I'm very pleased with the new games, cleaner gym, new slides, and food selection & price. Once the new toddler section is done it'll be even better.
Came back to update for my recent review. Bonkers has been completely redone. Before I complained about the trash out front and yesterday there wasn't any trash blowing around. The place was very clean inside and out. We love all the new games! Great place to take little one's for safe clean play. I give you a 5 star. Please update your pics so everyone can see your new interior as it's so much nicer than before!
It's a great experience for the little ones. (Just mind the parents that don't watch their kids.) Very cheap to get in. The food is at the "convenience price."
Today was my daughter birthday, Shannon and Taylor went above and beyond for us making it the best experience ever!!! 5 stars across the board!! Thank you again Shannon and Taylor you guys were soooo awesome!!!!!!!
Had a birthday party for my 5 year old. This was the most unorganized, poorly managed event I have ever attended before. I scheduled the party with the manager and when we showed up they lost our reservation and were scrambling to get the party room set up. We had to wait twenty minutes on our pizza and they had the nerve to rush me because we only had the party room booked for an hour. I went to pay and it took twenty minutes and three different people to figure out how to deduct our deposit I had alrea
Really geared more to smaller/younger kids - no good separation of places to play for younger kids - my kids enjoy going, but are often bored and want the video game (read win tickets) area instead... I really wish we had a better option in Topeka considering it's the capital of Kansas.
The place is filthy and about half if not more of the games are broken. Took my 3 and 5 year old here for the first time and pretty disappointed in the games. Would be way better if they maintained the games or bought new ones or this place will probably end up closing just like Trampolazerockballpark (sp?)
Kids had a good time but most of the games were broke. The food is wau over priced and it os very poor quality. The customer service almost non existent. Took lo g amount of time to get hwlp with anytging from getting food assistance with a game that stole money to getting someone to exchange the prizes . was very disappointed with this place your better off going to chucky cheese
Too expensive!! When we would go before we would put maybe $20.00 on our kids cards & they would play for hours on it plus they'd give you $5.00 when you loaded your card. Not any more. You get 38 credits for $10.00. Now mind you the games are no longer like .25 cents. Now some games are 8 credits for 1 play. So your kids are getting less time playing games and you are spending more money loading and reloading these cards. Tonight I told my kids this would be our last time coming to bonkers.
It's fun for the kids and if you don't mind shelling out a 1 or 2 a game that lasts no more than 30 seconds food kinda sucks but still inside and safe place to go for fun for the kids
I had some slight miss communication about the deposit for a party but after speaking with lisa the General manager she fixed it all for me. She also had a wonderful attitude and was very sweet. I will be returning in the future! ????
This place was so fun, lots of things to do! My 2.5yr old daughter LOVED IT! we went sitting the week so it wasn't very busy. We will be going bonkers again very soon.
Renovations are really nice the place seems bigger and better instead of dingy and crowded..alot of fun new added games plus the old reliable ones people enjoy.. the layout and atmosphere is incredible Kyle kids and I spend hours running around and playing..kids play place or playground party this is definitely the place to go only down fall I would say is I wish they had room to expand
Great place for birthday parties, or just to get the kids out to play. The bathrooms were clean and the prizes for tickets were much better than other places. The staff was friendly.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
